Apr 20 19:42:44 Caterpillar Quest ♥ 2 Loved the cute art and audio!
Apr 20 19:48:01 5m 17s Feed The Monster ♥ 3 Loved the mood of this game, especially the How To Play instructions xD Sadly I didn't get very far as I'm not very good at platformers, but great job!
Apr 20 20:00:58 12m 57s DeeperWeDelve ♥ 1 Very unique graphical style, so well done there. It's pretty obvious a lot of heart went into this game, but due to time constraints many bugs slipped into the gameplay. Some of the pathing was frustrating, especially when it came to trying to get my second henchman to fight an enemy that was down a narrow hallway. Still, great job though, especially for a compo entry.
Apr 21 01:57:36 5h 56m Forest Idle ♥ 2 This got pretty intense really quickly haha I do like the combination of genres - clicker + MOBA-like. Well done on the gameplay!
Apr 21 02:22:53 25m 17s Empire Tactics ♥ 1 I'm a sucker for turn-based tactics games. Pretty fun, well done!
Apr 21 03:06:17 43m 24s Todd and Bobb's Excellent Adventure ♥ 3 Really cute graphical style, though might benefit from a soft ambient light so the shadows aren't so harsh. Overall, well done!
Apr 21 05:36:01 2h 29m Lively ♥ 3 This is really cute! A shame there wasn't enough time to implement gameplay.
Apr 21 05:51:49 15m 48s MicroVore ♥ 3 This is madness. I love it. Will you be writing an article breaking some of this down? I'd love to learn how you did this using only VFX Graph. There wasn't much gameplay as you mentioned, but the audacity of this entry led me to give it high ratings across the board anyway.
Apr 21 06:22:42 30m 53s Bar Mix ♥ 3 Loved this entry - fitting theme, great mood. The UI doesn't match up with the graphical fidelity of the rest, but I assume that was due to time constraints. Great job!
Apr 21 06:30:54 8m 12s Dinder Rush ♥ 4 This might just be my favorite entry in this entire event. Amazing job in every aspect :O
Apr 21 13:52:08 7h 21m Against The Malice ♥ 2 I love the procedural level generation animation! Even though you weren't able to add decent art and sound, you did a great job overcoming some technical hurdles with this entry. Great job, Johnny :)
Apr 21 15:27:32 1h 35m IT!? (need more letters in my title) ♥ 2 Interesting take on the theme - I like the detective / case solving idea and this is the first entry I've played to go that route. Great use of tradeoffs / choices in gameplay too. Well done!
Apr 21 15:33:14 5m 42s Story of Lost Demon ♥ 2 Cute entry!
Apr 21 16:21:38 48m 24s Food Chuck ♥ 4 Wow, I love this graphical style. It's a great homage and you nailed capturing the craziness. Great job!
Apr 21 16:53:22 31m 44s Abidance ♥ 1 Good mood and atmosphere!
Apr 21 16:55:46 2m 24s The Last Guardian ♥ 4 Cute art style! Also interesting to hear it was developed on Linux. I've got a soft spot for Linux dev so it's great to see an entry here.
Apr 21 17:47:42 51m 56s Floriculture ♥ 1 This is the first casual / relaxing game I've played this jam and I love it. Thank you for making this!
Apr 21 18:00:00 12m 18s Please! Keep me alive ♥ 2 I'm a sucker for hand drawn graphics. I imagine time constraints prevented you from adding animation other than the rabbits jumping? Encountered an issue where there was an apple behind a tree but wasn't able to pick it up even though I clicked a hundred times. Overall though, great work and great job on submitting, especially if this is your first time doing LD!
Apr 21 18:35:11 35m 11s to Leave ♥ 2 Messing with the music was fun, but I couldn't figure out what to do. Perhaps update it sometime with instructions?
Apr 21 18:44:42 9m 31s Keep THEM Alive ♥ 3 So glad you kept going and were able to submit! Great job!
Apr 21 21:35:06 2h 50m Mount Ookie ♥ 3 I love the graphics! Definitely felt like the gameplay could use some tuning, but with the time constraint, that's understandable. Well done!
Apr 21 22:11:14 36m 08s FROGISLN.ELF ♥ 2 The traditional graphics were nice, but the controls definitely felt like they could use work.
Apr 21 22:13:32 2m 18s Keep the Keep ♥ 2 The low poly aesthetic brought me here. Loved the small board game style feel of it, though animations and sounds could have been improved / added. I imagine that's due to the time constraints of the jam. Great entry nonetheless!
Apr 21 22:19:23 5m 51s Fire Keeper ♥ 2 Wow this gets intense pretty quickly - the rain bouncing off the edge of the level got me at first haha. I lasted 141 seconds. Great job on the simple graphics, gameplay, and style!
Apr 21 22:25:14 5m 51s Angst ♥ 7 This entry has incredible production and it shows (and yes, I did notice you have a 'jam guide' in your readme for your team members haha). I personally related to the headspace being full and the challenges of navigating daily life while trying to keep track of things (though thankfully I don't have anxiety). Amazing and memorable entry.
Apr 21 22:33:56 8m 42s Lich Clicker ♥ 3 Words cannot express how much I love the different production elements of this entry. Will you be writing an article / postmortem? I'm curious how you created this and would love to work with a hand-drawn style in a future project. High marks all around for this entry!
Apr 21 22:37:41 3m 45s Virtual Meeting Simulator ♥ 2 I have a soft spot for typing games and I'm glad to see the optimized production here, utilizing kenny assets to make up for graphical skills. Was fun for me to play but the difficulty spiked pretty fast. I imagine if there was more time there would be more gameplay testing, but that's understandable in an event like this. Great entry nonetheless, well done.
Apr 22 00:22:25 1h 44m Fleur Defense ♥ 7 My goodness, this entry has such great production level. AMAZING job!
Apr 22 02:09:04 1h 46m Keep, Calm! ♥ 2 I'm no good at these types of physics games lol. But still a fun and interesting entry! The graphic design of putting the letters on the keep is very intuitive. Wish there was sound, but I understand that's probably due to time constraints. Overall, great job!
Apr 22 05:31:43 3h 22m untitled ♥ 2 Took me awhile to understand the gameplay, but that's par the course for these kinds of immersive artsy games (we have similar complaints on our entry, though people have been hating pretty hard on our graphics). I love the atmosphere and the mood of this entry, and this is definitely the best atmospheric submission I've played so far. Will you write an article breaking down the scene setup and postprocessing effects? I'm curious what all was involved :)
Apr 22 06:35:11 1h 03m Fire Is Life ♥ 2 The other comments express my thoughts, but it looks like this is your first LD and your first entry. Congratulations on submitting! That is a huge feat itself - you should feel proud :)
Apr 22 08:31:52 1h 56m Toastie ♥ 3 I felt the control scheme was difficult to use and the postprocessing was a bit much, but a fun entry nonetheless!
Apr 22 08:53:53 22m 01s Bosskeeper ♥ 1 Echoing what others have said, your entry could benefit from instructions (I ran into this issue with my submission too, so it's understandable) and a bit of polish. But overall, this is not a bad entry, just needs some tuning (difficult with the time constraints).
Apr 22 08:59:57 6m 04s Tumbleweed ♥ 5 The production level of this entry is insane. The design is pretty good too! One of the few entries to get 5 stars from me :)
Apr 22 09:45:44 45m 47s The Call of the Unicore ♥ 2 As others have mentioned, the art style is super cute! Very impressive for 48 hours!
Apr 22 09:51:58 6m 14s Xenov: Ascension ♥ 3 Whoa, neat art style! Great job with this entry :)
Apr 22 10:22:58 31m 00s tyle ♥ 2 Love the minimalist art style and the simplicity of the game design. Well done!
Apr 22 10:27:19 4m 21s Lone Soldier ♥ 1 A great second entry! You are improving :)
Apr 22 10:29:01 1m 42s Finding Sam ♥ 3 First visual novel I've tried this jam :) Love the art style, great job!
Apr 22 10:32:41 3m 40s Herblore ♥ 2 I felt like I was playing Uncooked haha. Great job on this entry - definitely a unique take on the theme!
Apr 22 18:50:49 8h 18m Saving Iyla ♥ 3 I love hand-drawn styles! You guys really put a lot into this game, probably too much and not enough gameplay testing since I ran into some things that I got stuck in. But wow, what great effort. Amazing entry!
Apr 22 19:02:42 11m 53s PROTECTOBOTANY ♥ 1 Really tough game, but maybe that's because sometimes the plant is ahead / above me but I have to turn sideways to spray it (some of the angles are non-intuitive). Interesting concept though!
Apr 22 19:07:41 4m 59s Aftermath ♥ 2 Love the homage to Halo. Humorous take on the theme haha. Well done!
Apr 22 19:10:06 2m 25s Locked'goshi ♥ 2 I love graphics like this! Can you share / write a postmortem of how you did it? Great job on this entry!
Apr 22 19:29:39 19m 33s Nothing to Z Here ♥ 2 Great job on submitting! Finishing is a feat in and of itself so you should be proud! The graphic style is cute though the game felt a bit... rigid? Not sure how to describe it. Could be the time constraints didn't allow for more fluid gameplay polish. Still, congratulations!
Apr 22 19:42:04 12m 25s The Camp ♥ 3 I love this mood and art style. Will you be writing a postmortem? I'd love to see how you made this!
Apr 22 19:55:04 13m 00s Night in the Garden ♥ 3 This game made me laugh. Amazing entry, well done haha
Apr 22 19:56:59 1m 55s Keep Queen Alive ♥ 2 Have you ever played the arcade game Killer Queen? This made me think of that. Great job on this entry!
Apr 22 20:13:54 16m 55s Northern Pirates ♥ 2 I love this art style! The ship control felt difficult, but I imagine it's more realistic than most games. Overall, great job!
Apr 22 22:12:41 1h 58m CRASH OR LIVE (HTML5 & Windows) ♥ 4 Oh, the audio in this entry is spectacular, well done there! Does the leaderboard work, or is it just an homage to the arcade games of old? Surely someone has scored higher than me lol. Great entry, well done!
Apr 22 23:15:13 1h 02m Techno Oink ♥ 2 I love this art style! As others mentioned, the run and gun gameplay felt different from what I'm used to in similar games, but a great entry nonetheless!
Apr 23 00:07:50 52m 37s Elementrees ♥ 4 I love the graphical style and this type of gameplay is right up my alley. I think it was too bright sometimes (maybe use some darker hues somewhere?) and even put on my sunglasses once, but I still enjoyed it. Overall, amazing entry though, well done!
Apr 23 00:47:32 39m 42s Luciole ♥ 2 The controls seem mixed up like others mentioned, but I really, really like this art style. Will you be writing a postmortem? I'd love to learn how to make something like this! Great mood and of course great job on submitting!
Apr 23 02:10:03 1h 22m GAS ♥ 3 This art style is amazing! I hope you write a postmortem as I'd love to attempt something like this. RTS was the genre I grew up with and I like the spooky theme you took with it. Great entry, great job!
Apr 23 04:05:32 1h 55m You Have One Job: Keep It Alive ♥ 2 A Construct entry! I was wondering when I would find one haha. I started with C2 back in the day before I got into programming and the foundations C2 taught me really helped. This game is super weird and I love the direction you took the theme. Well done!
Apr 23 04:10:08 4m 36s NOAS ♥ 2 3D in GameMaker with Mobile Suit Gundam vibes?! YES.
Apr 23 04:32:49 22m 41s Embers ♥ 1 Gosh, this art style is the cutest! I've played a lot of entries this jam and I have to say, this is one of the few truly polished entries. Just curious - how did you get started using Asesprite and sprite design / animation? I've always been interested in creating this art style but wasn't sure how.
Apr 23 04:35:50 3m 01s Lantern Lagoon ♥ 3 Such a beautiful, Zelda-esque game. Great job!
Apr 23 04:54:38 18m 48s MACHINA ♥ 2 This is one of the few complete entries I've seen, and the fact that you did this all on your own is insanely impressive. Just checked out your blog too - I will be going through your articles and hopefully learning how you do some of this stuff!
Apr 23 15:15:03 10h 20m Dart Attack ♥ 2 The graphics are cute! Took a couple tries to understand what to do, but that's par the course for most jam entries (including ours). I did feel the game was a bit too easy, but that's better than too hard. Great job!
Apr 23 17:40:30 2h 25m Comboboy ♥ 2 This entry is a marvel of level (puzzle) design. The simple graphics also fit well. Great job :)
Apr 23 17:50:03 9m 33s St. Hestia ♥ 3 This game is a wonderful gem. Thank you for creating this!
Apr 23 17:55:14 5m 11s ReOrb ♥ 3 This is one of my favorite entries. So simple and elegant. Well done :)
Apr 23 18:18:10 22m 56s Sunlit ♥ 3 Such a beautiful game. I love zen / chill entries. Great job!
Apr 23 21:53:21 3h 35m Frozen April ♥ 3 Such a cute entry. Well done.
Apr 24 01:34:21 3h 41m Haiku, and the Mother Virus ♥ 1 Such a fun little gem. Great production all-around :)
Apr 24 01:36:36 2m 15s Starship to Lethe ♥ 1 Took a bit to get a feel for the game and controls, but to be fair every game I've played this jam had that (with one or two exceptions). Overall, a great simple gem of design. Innovation points for making a rhythm game!
Apr 24 01:38:47 2m 11s Pollinate ♥ 1 Simple graphics and relaxing gameplay held together by a great choice of color palette. A truly unique entry, well done!
Apr 24 01:41:33 2m 46s SIPHON ♥ 2 Absolutely incredible entry. Using Love2D and Lua, just framework and no engine? Impressive!
