I found this game really enjoyable to play, and I found myself playing it quite a few times. The sudden difficulty spike at round 5 with the new projectiles was certainly a challenge that surprised me when I first got to them. The graphics are pretty good as well.

Good graphics and presentation, could use a bit more speed and polished controls on the mouse.

Great idea, has lots of future development potential! The graphics fit the game very well too. The audio/soundtrack was a bit repetitive though, so mixing things up with the sounds/level would definitely make the game more re-playable! Good work! :>

Unfortunately, I can't get the linux build to run, it just exits after
`no boot config - using default values
(Filename: Line: 479)`
I also got some strange errors when unpacking, asking me whether I want to replace duplicate files, so maybe something went wrong when packing the linux build?
Edit: Got it to work in the browser and i really like it! The graphics are great, I quite like the animation when projectiles hit the shields and it's quite fun to play!
Good graphics good game machanics, the only problem was that converters were over powered.

Graphics are minimalist yet very good. The whole game seems well polished and easy to understand. I had one failed attempt because before the first level I purchased a new slot instead of equiping one of my "sides", so could not defend myself at all! But I understood quickly and tried again :) Overall the game looks solid, well done!

Very fun game. The difficulty curve is a bit harsh, but on the second run I was prepared with more cannons and slots.
Really challenging and fun, the visuals are simple but neat and the overal mood of the game is cool.

I wish I could've designed this game, I love minimalistic tower defense kinda thing with mouse interaction. The reward sound is WAY TOO LOUD. I had to mute the game to play it because I was actively trying to avoid shooting projectiles to avoid the sound. The difficulty curve is really interesting too.

Games like these show that simple art can still be very effective. I spent a little more time on this game than I thought. Maybe the converter is a little to broken ;), maybe make it breakable. I see a lot of potential when it comes to upgrades, enemies and stuff like that. Liked it a lot! Defense.png
Nice game, but it was not immediately clear how and what to do. Having figured it out, he quickly began to farm the money and simply put the catchers in a circle. It would be nice to limit their number to complicate the gameplay

Thanks for playing and rating, everyone! And a bigger thanks to everyone who broke the game lol. In hindsight, the converter should have had some use limit. But oh well, you live and learn.
A very time consuming game that drags you in, I like it. The visuals are fine as well as the music, but the game play really pulls you in if not for a strong challenge for some, me included. The mouse controls got me killed a few times cause it didn't do what I wanted, the mouse could have been turned invisible but that would have made the rotation even harder to predict based upon it´s closeness to the center. A good game though with some good potential asswell, great job! ^^

Good game with cool looking graphics. Some of the SFX could do with toning down a bit, especially for the converter module. Nice entry!

You need to nerf the converter... Apart from that it's a very good game! And you need to optimize more the web version... Maybe removing the post processing will do the trick.
WHOA DUDE The game is so cool it dosen't even seem like a jam game, it seems like a finished hyper casual game, I can play this for days!
The best part is its made by another fellow Indian, can you message me on insta at @the.indie_coder ? We need to talk!
One more thing, play and rate more games, only then you will be able to get more audience, just do it! your game will definately win if it gets enough players!
The graphics to this game is great. Things do start a bit on the slow end.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Much appreciated. I would love to nerf the converter @joule but that would just be going against the rules of the event :) Will playtest more before submitting next time!

This is one of my favorite entries. So simple and elegant. Well done :)
The first two times I didn't really understand the shop, and didnt buy anything at all. It seems the only option to win is to buy one barrier. It's all you can afford besides an extra empty slot, so maybe the first level should actually walk you through buying that one barrier as a tutorial, and not let you start the game without it?
The music was very high-quality and pleasant to listen to, but not very fitting with the game.
Graphics are perfect.
I loved the concept and mechanics. My only thought is that it was a bit weird trying to "pojnt" by barrier at something but always have it off-center because i had an odd number of sections, or when my barrier died trying to position the others by an offset-angle. One partial solution would be to have a permanent visual part of the rotating gameObject pointing to the mouse to give visual feedback. Even better would probably not use a mouse to rotate, though I understand that you couldn't rotate as quickly keyboards and most people here aren't going to be playing with analogue joysticks.

Hey, nice idea!
Was a little hard to differentiate between weak and strong fireballs though, since they are about the same size and colour.
I'm really shocked this is a compo game given the graphical and audio polish. It looks great, and the concept is really solid, too.
My only complaint is that even after playing for 10-15 minutes, I still had a hard time with the controls. Maybe if I could swing the orb with left/right key mappings instead of the mouse? I was never sure which direction I needed to move the mouse to get it to do what I wanted.
Maybe it's just me, but I feel like if I had a little more control I could have played this for hours. By far the best entry I've played yet.
I enjoyed playing this, but I had trouble with the change in difficulty, but besides that, it was all great, especially the art and sound.
I am not a fan of this type of game, but I will be impartial. I think the game takes a while to become challenging. The design is very beautiful, congratulations. I am a sound designer and music has high and low points. The high point was that it was a right choice in preferring a calmer music for gameplay, while the low point is that the loop region is not perfect, besides that some sfx are a bit exaggerated, they end up with the calm atmosphere of the gameplay. Anyway, it was a beautiful job for the jam, congratulations!

A nice little game you got there! I like the art style combined with the bloom effect. The music and sounds is nice but a bit repetitive.
The first few waves are the most interesting ones. I took me a while to understand that you need to move the mouse around the center in a circular fashion. The problem was, that the mouse and the first barrier you build are not at the same angular position. It's a bit strange.
As soon as you build a ring of converters the game is basically won. Converters and barriers are too powerful. Maybe they should break after a while or add a limit to how many you can have or buy.
Apart from those minor nitpicks, a great game!

Great game! It's a really good concept that I think has a lot of potential!! The graphics are super simple, yet I really liked them, nice job :)
I did have some issues, though... first, the mouse control should have gotten more polish. It's weird that the "shell" is not pointing towards the mouse. I know it sounds weird, but trust me. I think you could make some kind of smart system that determines the "front" of your defenses and make that point towards the mouse. Or just an arrow, that would help too
Oh and it's too easy. Like, too easy. After you get a ring of converters, there's nothing else to do. And that takes just about 8 rounds or so... I think you should make it so they break after they give you at most 5x their own price, or something like that!
And I think I've found I've found a bug. I accidentally bought a canon, so I got rid of it and... that got rid of the entire slot. So I had an unfixable hole in my defenses forever. Which was weird.
Actually I found two bugs. The second one was what made me stop playing...

That projectile just. Kinda stayed there... so the round never ended. Oops!
All in all, great entry! Good graphics, good concept, wish it was harder. With a bit more polish, I'd honestly play this more times!!

Really cool, lots of potential! You can just cover the walls in converters and be completely safe though it seems? If you balanced this, and added more stuff over time (updates, enemies, etc), this would be a fantastic game!
Awesome visual effects and overall clean execution of the game concept!
Nice game! Well done on the graphics and audio. Adding upgrades is a fun twist to this type of game. I think the game needs to be more balanced: I could just surround the orb with converters and never lose.
Great Game it is very nice to play love the effects. music doesn't fit in for my taste but well done simple but fun to play. :v:
Hi, I really enjoyed this game, awesome job! Only thing that I didn't like was the way discarding works - after discarding a piece, I couldn't build a new one in the same spot (rendering the discarding rather pointless). Otherwise than that, I really enjoyed the experience, along with the art style and relaxing music. You should definitely keep on working the game post-LD and release it!
