| Apr 24 07:15:00 | Shake it up! | Like the others comments, I am going to complain about the white flash because it is frankly the only think I can :-) <br/> <br/>I like the idea and how it fits the “tiny world” theme. <br/> <br/>Well done! | |
| Apr 24 10:49:00 | 3h 34m | Tiny Civilization | It is good! |
| Apr 24 10:57:00 | 8m 00s | Asylum | I loved the graphics, the theme, and the mood. But the introduction was too long for my taste. |
| Apr 26 12:11:00 | 49h 14m | Astro Break | The only things I can complain about this game is the lag between the actions and the sound effects--which could be an issue only in my system--and the lack of music (although you said you made some…) <br/> <br/>Other than that, I can honestly say that I am jealous of your artistic ability and the polishing that you've put into this game. <br/> <br/>Very well done indeed. |
| Apr 26 12:23:00 | 12m 00s | ANT SURF HERO: THE SURFENING | Well done! And now I have that tune stuck in my head :-P |
| Apr 26 12:31:00 | 8m 00s | Zombie Siege | I couldn't start the web version and the first time I tried to run the GNU/Linux version I started up stuck behind a tree… <br/> <br/>The second try did work, though, and I was able to play. The first thing that I failed to see is the connection with the theme. Is this because you are confined inside an area and thus a “tiny world”? The gameplay lacks some deep, but I can see this turned out a great survival kind of game with some polishing and music. If only there are a single music, I thing the game, as it is gameplay-wise, would gain a lot. <br/> <br/>Nothing to complain regarding the graphics; they fit well. |
| Apr 26 16:04:00 | 3h 33m | Predicament | The end was… surprising. But I guess I escaped >_< It liked a lot the graphics and I wish I could hear the music (no Chrome here, but I see that you removed it anyway.) The “combine objects” has definitively a nostalgic feeling for me and it fits the theme very well indeed. |
| Apr 26 16:12:00 | 8m 00s | Crystalbots | I also fail to see the relation with the theme, however this doesn't mean it is not fun ;-) <br/> <br/>The only thing that I can complain is the “reload” mechanic. I believe it would be better if it was some kind of “heating” or something, but only because usually I am given control on when/how to reload but you didn't in this game; I feel like I am restricted. |
| Apr 27 11:33:00 | 19h 21m | Kill Drill | Impressive graphics and music! To me, the game play is a tad boring and I stopped after 10 minutes or so of kicking robots' ass. The inertia also "feels" wrong in the sense that when I try to run to the opposite direction, it takes the same time to start moving to the order direction than to simply stop. I guess is the whole "legs moving in one direction, body on the opposite" that confuses me (also, I *hate* when I try to move away from the drill robot thing but I still "slide" onto it…) |
| Apr 27 20:01:00 | 8h 28m | Pocket Strife | I had a very hard time understanding how I could start, and then I didn't really understood what was I supposed to do. Maybe this isn't my kind of games :-) <br/> <br/>However, I thought that the AI was cool, despite the fact that it is way more skillful than me, and the graphics look nice. <br/> <br/>I guess the connection with the theme is the limited space each player has on the map and that we all have to fight each other for it? I works :-P |
| Apr 27 20:13:00 | 12m 00s | Amnesic prince | Um, I felt that I was too directed and I couldn't enjoy this game as I was expecting given the cool graphics that reminded me of the adventure games I used to play :-P <br/> <br/>I don't think there is too much text, but some of it is unnecessary. As it is dying by the snake when all other planets are safe; it breaks the expectations the game had up until the moment. <br/> <br/>Obviously, the theme fits perfectly although given the relative size of the prince and Earth, one could think that the theme is "giant people" rather than "tiny world" ;-) |
| Apr 27 20:23:00 | 10m 00s | Disregard All Humans | The graphics are very cute! However, the game play becomes repetitive and somewhat dull after a while. The music helps, though :-) <br/> <br/>I didn't see the moon on my first play and I had to play again just to see what everyone was talking about. Nicely done! |
| Apr 27 20:31:00 | 8m 00s | Attack on the Planet XXS-01 | The biggest problem in this game are the controls, as other have said. Also, I hate the delay when I am hit. I know it is intentional, but could be a little shorter, I think. <br/> <br/>The graphics where well done and was fun. |
| Apr 27 20:43:00 | 12m 00s | Tiny Shards | This is unbelievably awesome! Unfortunately, I couldn't reach the end because on my computer the game's resolution is too tall and doesn't fit my screen making some levels impossible to play, forcing me to "guess" where the enemies and the falls are... |
| Apr 27 20:54:00 | 11m 00s | Tiny Defenders | Unfortunately, I couldn't run neither the x86_64 nor the i386 version of the Linux build; I had to use a Windows box. <br/> <br/>I tried at least 5 times and I always lose at the 4th wave or so (the one immediately after the small but fast ants). I guess it is too hard for me, but I enjoyed trying it. <br/> <br/>The graphics are a bit too simplistic in the sense that the big ants are the same but scaled up and it is clearly visible, but they are OK. The music doesn't get in the way and although a bit repetitive, I didn't hate it :-D |
| Apr 27 20:59:00 | 5m 00s | aidas | The controls are a bit hard for me and sometimes I have trouble jumping over the world. I either keep jumping on or rolling the world |
| Apr 27 21:07:00 | 8m 00s | Professor Squeaks: The Circuitous Escape! | The controls "while escaping" are most of the time annoying. I always get stuck behind some wall... Also, some elements are really hard to see. <br/> <br/>I loved the idea of the circuit mini-game and they weren't as difficult as I first thought they would be :-D <br/> <br/>The "squeaky" sound was great, but given it is the only sound (I could hear), it feels like something is lacking. |
| Apr 27 21:21:00 | 14m 00s | Soul Searchin' | This is good. Very good! |
| Apr 27 21:24:00 | 3m 00s | Creature Collect | Oh, boy. So many creatures thrown into space....... :-D |
| Apr 27 21:27:00 | 3m 00s | Honey Heist | It is extremely hard to control the bee. When it collides with the screen's border, then pressing up moves backwards! To confusing to finish even the second level (the first was luck, because I could only do it once.) |
| Apr 27 21:33:00 | 6m 00s | Minikin | It reminds me somewhat to knytt stories and I love this art style! |
| Apr 27 21:37:00 | 4m 00s | Save the tiny world! | 7/10 is my best score. The graphics are really great; I love them. The idea is original and well implemented, which makes the game fun. |
| Apr 27 21:43:00 | 6m 00s | Tiny Quest | It took a while for me to "click" and understand what to do. Ignoring the ending, this is a very creative use of the theme indeed. |
| Apr 28 10:02:00 | 12h 19m | Nano Strike | OK, I had the hardest time finishing the tutorial, but I did! :-D <br/> <br/>The tutorial is hard to follow the first time because it doesn't wait for me to select the unit that it I am supposed the use, and then the next instruction pops up... But, it wasn't until the 4th time or so that I also found out that the warriors could be moved by the other mouse button! I was so frustrated by then that I gave up. <br/> <br/>For me, the idea is sound and the graphics are cool. It is the starting difficulty that throw me off. The music is also a little bit irritating and the controls aren't as smooth as they could be, in my opinion. This game fits the theme perfectly. |
| Apr 28 10:04:00 | 2m 00s | Tiny Huge Planet | Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to play this game with, but I would love to. Gave you 5/5 in innovation just because you are awesome! :-D |
| Apr 28 10:18:00 | 14m 00s | Downsize | I like it a lot! I had some problems understanding the movements of the creeps and thus I couldn't make a strategy to win level 3, but I managed somehow. <br/> <br/>I love the visuals, but I am a little confused with the controls because for some reason, I always forget which button is which direction... Also, if I try to erase a tile with shift but there is none, I always expect the game to do nothing, but instead it moves to that position. I've lost so many times because of that! :-D |
| Apr 28 10:23:00 | 5m 00s | Cells | As it is now, the game is far too easy to be really enjoyable. However, if you limit the mutations a little bit and allow the computer to mutate its cells toward "aggression", it would be fun casual game. |
| Apr 28 10:27:00 | 4m 00s | Are You Okay? | It is too short, but given the time you have, I guess it is expected. ;-) |
| Apr 28 10:38:00 | 11m 00s | Electron Cloud | I still don't understand when I can and when I can't steal an electron, but I had lots of fun anyway! The art and the music are really well done, and the game play is original. |
| Apr 28 10:48:00 | 10m 00s | Zombie Arena TinyWorld | Um, I got bored pretty fast with this game; it is too repetitive and the random movement of the other zombies doesn't help a little bit at that. I also don't see how this fits in the theme, sorry. <br/> <br/>The graphics are cool. |
| Apr 28 10:52:00 | 4m 00s | Immunity | It is too confusing for me, which makes it not very fun to play. The visuals are impressive and the idea is good; it fits the theme well. |
| Apr 28 11:08:00 | 16m 00s | Carbots | I can't rate this entry. I receive the following error message: <br/> <br/>" <br/>--------------------------- <br/>carbots <br/>--------------------------- <br/>No suitable graphics card found. <br/> <br/>Could not find a Direct3D device that supports the XNA Framework HiDef profile. <br/> <br/>Verify that a suitable graphics device is installed. <br/> <br/>Make sure the desktop is not locked, and that no other application is running in full screen mode. <br/> <br/>Avoid running under Remote Desktop or as a Windows service. <br/> <br/>Check the display properties to make sure hardware acceleration is set to Full." <br/> <br/>I usually can't run "HiDef" games. Also, please next time don't bundle an installer; I don't particularly like it. |
| Apr 28 11:09:00 | 1m 00s | Cannon Planet | I don't have an iOS device, so I can't rate this one, unfortunately. |
| Apr 28 11:25:00 | 16m 00s | Worlds End | It was good, but a little too easy and at the end it was a little boring having to wait for the gold to pile up and send ships to the last planet remaining (especially as I had sent 10 or so ships and I had to wait each time for 30 gold to send a single ship.) <br/> <br/>To me, this game looks like a primitive version of galcon (nothing wrong with that), but with an advantage by being the tiny planet among giants. The music was well done. |
| Apr 28 11:28:00 | 3m 00s | pbd | I found the idea interesting, although I couldn't bring myself to endure the noise and at the end didn't find home. |
| Apr 28 11:29:00 | 1m 00s | Weird And Virtual Reality Emulated | I'll rate it later when it is properly bundled or I switch back to a Linux machine. |
| Apr 28 11:32:00 | 3m 00s | Pond: The Strider | Fun, fun, fun! :-D I don't seem to respawn automatically when I lose (and I do it a lot of times...) <br/> <br/>Also, Chrome gave me a warning that the game could be malware!! |
| Apr 28 13:00:00 | 1h 28m | itty 8bitty | I loved everything about this one: the music, the sounds, the idea. The only trouble I had was knowing what to do at first, because I didn't realize the blue pixel was the starting point and the green the goal, but once figured, it was fun! |
| Apr 28 13:27:00 | 27m 00s | This Precious Land | Very addictive! I had to force myself to stop playing in order to continue rate other games, but I'll definitively play it again later. |
| Apr 28 13:34:00 | 7m 00s | Berries | I wasn't able to kill any of the enemies, so I just avoided them; it is way easier this way. <br/> <br/>The only clue I could find that this game is related to "tiny world" is the relative size of everyone against those huge berries. A weak link, I think, but works. <br/> <br/>The music sounds a little Zelda-esque :-) |
| Apr 28 13:38:00 | 4m 00s | Super Orbit Worlds | Very simple idea that is effective. I didn't understand what the over planets that from time to time appear do, though. |
| Apr 28 13:53:00 | 15m 00s | Bottlecolonies | The art style is awesome as it is the guitar background music. |
| Apr 28 13:58:00 | 5m 00s | Synthesis | Although the idea is good, I didn't have as much fun as I would if I knew more chemistry, I guess. Nonetheless, good game! |
| Apr 28 14:04:00 | 6m 00s | Burning Platform | I find it very difficult to control my friends and I am unable to keep them away from the edges. Also, the walls are near to useless, at least I couldn't make any use of them. |
| Apr 28 14:16:00 | 12m 00s | Faelanx | It looks so polished that at first I didn't think it was a compo game! Especially, given that the theme was nowhere to be seen. |
| Apr 28 14:20:00 | 4m 00s | Lililput | Lots of (frustrating) fun! |
| Apr 28 14:23:00 | 3m 00s | Life in jar | It is too slow for my machine :'( |
| Apr 28 14:34:00 | 11m 00s | Poiesis | I wasn't unable to understand how to play it, sorry. I tried to follow the tutorial but no tree could be planted ever! The graphics and the concept are very well done, thought. |
| Apr 28 14:38:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny World | I enjoyed the way I have to control the balloon and the turret at the same time, but I didn't understand the connection with the theme. |
| Apr 28 14:42:00 | 4m 00s | Conquer Pico Worlds | It is an interesting concept, but I got bored of doing the same thing again and again after 6 or so levels. |
| Apr 28 14:49:00 | 7m 00s | Tiny World of Bees | I managed to breed 166 bees and still I don't know how... The graphics are sure cute and well done, but the game play is repetitive and boring. |
| Apr 28 14:52:00 | 3m 00s | Tiny World Adventure | It seems a little unfair that it takes like a gazillion shots to kill the enemies but a single touch makes me die. The graphics and the sounds were great, but it didn't take me long for me to get bored. |
| Apr 28 15:03:00 | 11m 00s | Nook | Wow. Very polished on all aspects. The only think that I can complain is that "shrinking" doesn't make the work "tiny"; the other way around, actually. So the link with the theme is rather weak, in my opinion. But this is a trifle. :-) |
| Apr 28 15:05:00 | 2m 00s | It's a Small World: The F.P.S. | Ummm :-/ It fits the theme, actually :-D |
| Apr 28 15:43:00 | 38m 00s | Tiny God | I see nothing but a black screen that when I click, at random, it says I destroyed a world... Tried in Google Chrome on Windows 7 32-bit. |
| Apr 28 15:48:00 | 5m 00s | This is a tiny world. | I am not going to lie: it wasn't fun for me. Perhaps, with a little sound or background music would improve. Also, the rotating background image make me feel dizzy somehow. |
| Apr 28 15:49:00 | 1m 00s | Runaway Square | Can't play it. It says: <br/>" <br/>--------------------------- <br/>LD23 <br/>--------------------------- <br/>No suitable graphics card found. <br/> <br/>Check the display properties to make sure hardware acceleration is set to Full." |
| Apr 28 15:53:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny's World | The jump is not that polished and makes the game not fun for me. The background music was well done as are the graphics. |
| Apr 28 15:56:00 | 3m 00s | Petri | Um, I don't know what I have just played... It is too abstract for me, I guess :-) |
| Apr 28 15:58:00 | 2m 00s | Mothly's World | Couldn't play it on Windows 7 32-bit using JRE 1.6.0_32. The error I got is: <br/> <br/>java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: jam/ld23/game/MothlysWorld : Unsupported <br/> major.minor version 51.0 <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClassCond(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.access$000(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) <br/> at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) <br/> at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) <br/>Could not find the main class: jam.ld23.game.MothlysWorld. Program will exit. <br/>Exception in thread "main" |
| Apr 28 16:07:00 | 9m 00s | Quark | The text is extremely hard to read and the game is altogether too easy, I think. However, the graphics, the sound effects, and the idea were very well done. The red gem was useless to me because when I entered the red room (after completing the blue) there were no monsters (which, according to the helper thing, before it was full of them...) |
| Apr 28 16:12:00 | 5m 00s | World Panic! | Hard, hard, HARD! But so fun at the same time :-D. Venus was too much for me, though, but just to listen to the music again I tried and tried ;-) |
| Apr 29 09:20:00 | 17h 08m | Haxe Planets | I wish there were some sort of checkpoints, because I hate having to restart the level from the beginning when I am so close to the exit. And it happened a LOT of times. Other than the difficulty, I enjoyed the game, especially the music which is awesome! |
| Apr 29 09:24:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny Worlds | As awesome as the music is, I don't really think that is appropriate for this game. I also loved the art style and the mechanics. |
| Apr 29 09:32:00 | 8m 00s | love in the time of fishbowls | I can't run it because my computer doesn't have a "HiDef" compatible video card. Sorry :'( |
| Apr 29 09:40:00 | 8m 00s | ANtopia | It is hard to believe that you've done this in just 48 hours. The mood is excellent and that music, oh the music! I really enjoyed it and the only complain I have is that is too short :-P |
| Apr 29 09:48:00 | 8m 00s | Cruel space | The controls are too hard for me; I seem unable to move exactly where I want to and makes me look ridiculous circling a health box... I loved the graphics and I wish I could do something like that! ^_^ |
| Apr 29 09:56:00 | 8m 00s | Microbial | It is incredible the amount of levels that you put into this game and how well balanced they seem. They introduce the game mechanics very smoothly and I enjoyed all of them (although some of them made me scream out of frustration). That water background sound is perfect for this game. <br/> <br/>Congrats! |
| Apr 29 10:04:00 | 8m 00s | Apocalypse Inc. | I like the visuals, but I don't know how to build anything. I can open the build menu, but no matter what I try to select, I only end up shooting. <br/> <br/>This game is quite difficult to play with a trackpad and usually I stood there waiting for the pirates to come to me :-D |
| Apr 29 10:14:00 | 10m 00s | ARACHNID | It takes too much time to start falling and I became bird food because of this so many times :-D The music is great, but is a pity it doesn't loop, breaking the mood. I was unable to make webs as cool looking as the ones in your screenshots, but I had fun nonetheless. |
| Apr 29 10:21:00 | 7m 00s | Boxed in. | Very creative interpretation of the theme! The music is also great and I noticed that each time I had to restart the player was different, which is cool. I had more trouble with the levels where I had to control multiple people, but I think this is a clever idea. |
| Apr 29 10:30:00 | 9m 00s | Gods Inc. | It lacks something, but I don't really know what. Clicking on farms and waiting for the tribes to evolve became boring too fast and there weren't anything else to do, so even though I love the music and the graphics, I stopped playing without finishing when I reached the point where I had to raise the tribes' level to 8. Too repetitive. |
| Apr 29 10:35:00 | 5m 00s | Angle Isle | It was a lovely platform game, but I fail to see the connection with the theme. |
| Apr 29 10:47:00 | 12m 00s | Full Circuit | It is great and fun, but so damn hard! A single mistake means you have to restart the whole thing... A (limited) undo function would be a very welcome feature ;-) |
| Apr 29 11:50:00 | 1h 03m | Tiny World Cardgame | The tutorial lead me to think that this game is too complicated and I couldn't possibly remember all that, but after a couple times playing against the computer (and won!) I didn't feel it was that hard. <br/> <br/>The music created a very good atmosphere and I love the idea that I don't really need the computer to play this game at all, provided I make the cards and find someone else to play with. |
| Apr 29 11:56:00 | 6m 00s | The Pioneer | I liked the game play while the graphics and the sounds reminded me of those of old games. However, it would be great to have some kind of restart when dead, because I do not enjoy having to quit, re-run the game, and see the intro again and again (I die a lot...) |
| Apr 29 12:02:00 | 6m 00s | Scavenger | It got repetitive and a little boring. At least was short (and I got to see an ant grabbing a banana!) and the music was cute. |
| Apr 29 12:19:00 | 17m 00s | Tiny World God | Cool game, but I had a hard start because I didn't notice that I had "tools" at the bottom of the screen. I guess some mini-tutorial would be a good addition. |
| Apr 29 12:23:00 | 4m 00s | Save Your Planet! | Really cool music, but the game play got boring as it is always the same. You could add some variety of weapons and better AI for enemies. |
| Apr 29 12:30:00 | 7m 00s | Atomic Galaxy Factory | I enjoyed this one and the tutorial was great. The music was also rather enjoyable. |
| Apr 29 12:35:00 | 5m 00s | Tiny World Peace | I suck at this game! I tried, and tried, and tried, but always failed and only a single world remained! I will assume that it is impossible to win.. ;-) |
| Apr 29 12:40:00 | 5m 00s | Chromatic Breeding | I won at least 3 times, but still don't know how to play. I just leave the bacteria at their own devices, and usually they breed the correct color. Anyway, I liked the idea, but fail to see the connection to the theme here. |
| Apr 29 12:48:00 | 8m 00s | Lilac.27 | Very beautiful. but the camera controls are a little uncomfortable for me and I have trouble moving around. |
| Apr 29 12:54:00 | 6m 00s | Millinaut | Outstanding! |
| Apr 29 13:01:00 | 7m 00s | Cube World | I also saw the AYIM feel on this one, but I had fun nonetheless. |
| Apr 29 13:11:00 | 10m 00s | T in Y World | VERY clever entry. I like the way that these simple rules produce such variety of outcomes. |
| Apr 29 13:25:00 | 14m 00s | Doctor! | Can't rate as the link is wrong... |
| Apr 29 13:28:00 | 3m 00s | Tiny World - Tiny Bits | Can't play this game because I don't have a "HiDef profile" compatible video card. |
| Apr 29 13:31:00 | 3m 00s | The Invasion of Timmy | I can't play. This is the error I get: <br/> <br/>Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: org.lwjgl.DefaultSysImplementation.getPointerSize()I <br/> at org.lwjgl.DefaultSysImplementation.getPointerSize(Native Method) <br/> at org.lwjgl.Sys.<clinit>(Sys.java:113) <br/> at org.lwjgl.opengl.Display.<clinit>(Display.java:135) <br/> at org.newdawn.slick.AppGameContainer$1.run(AppGameContainer.java:39) <br/> at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) <br/> at org.newdawn.slick.AppGameContainer.<clinit>(AppGameContainer.java:36) <br/> at be.priapus.ludumdare.timmy.Timmy.main(Timmy.java:35) |
| Apr 29 13:34:00 | 3m 00s | Asteroid Annex | It seems that something is wrong with the hosting. I tried to download this game twice and on both cases it lasts a lot and once downloaded I get a CRC error. |
| Apr 29 13:54:00 | 20m 00s | Kumiho | I don't see how this fits the theme, but I am not gonna complain because this game is awesome. I don't know what I did to that cephalopod, but sure it is angry :-) |
| Apr 29 15:47:00 | 1h 53m | Rocket Boat | Great work. As with others, I had issues with the control scheme, but other than that excellent! |
| Apr 29 20:10:00 | 4h 23m | Tiny Contamination, well almost | Really cute! My only problem with this game is that most of the time I start next to a red cell and "lose an eye". Fortunately I can replenish them, but it doesn't seem fair to me. <br/> <br/>When you say that the music is from freesound.org you mean that you got samples there or the whole music? As far as I know, you are not allowed to use pre-made music in the 48-hour compo... |
| Apr 29 20:12:00 | 2m 00s | A Bathtub Story | Quite an original way to interpret the theme. Well done! :-D |
| Apr 29 20:18:00 | 6m 00s | Toad Warrior | It is a little too slow for my taste, but the graphics are nicely done and the music is perfect. I didn't understood why I died when jumping on the mud, though. |
| Apr 29 20:25:00 | 7m 00s | Pixels World | I don't quite understand the relation with the theme, but even so I had a great time playing this game. I liked specially the music. |
| Apr 30 06:15:00 | 9h 50m | boing SMASH | That was fun, but unfortunately I don't have anyone to play with and I presume it would be even funnier that way. I guess a simple AI would also be OK :-) |
| Apr 30 06:21:00 | 6m 00s | van Leeuwenhoek | Can't play on Firefox. I extracted all the resources and are in the same folder, but all I see is a black screen. |
| Apr 30 06:55:00 | 34m 00s | Quest^3 | I can't understand how the tiles rotate, and I tried so many times... the idea is very cool, but I think it is too easy to die. |
| Apr 30 07:04:00 | 9m 00s | Gulliver | Excellent soundtrack! I have some issues with the controls, though. I don't like that moving backwards actually turns the ship the other way, because most of the time what I want is to continue firing at the enemies while retreating. Also, most of the time I found that is easier to just avoid the enemies instead. <br/> <br/>At first I didn't understand the theme in your entry, but after I entered the first passage it clicked. Nicely done. |
| Apr 30 07:08:00 | 4m 00s | Escape from Minimars | Awesome pixel art and the game play is just... perfect. The link with the theme is a little weak, I believe. |
| Apr 30 07:15:00 | 7m 00s | terminus | I didn't quite understand this game. All I was doing is chopping wood and stacking it. Then I found some kind of pickaxe or something, but didn't know what to do with it. I liked the graphics, though. |
| Apr 30 07:19:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny Journey | Great art style. |
| Apr 30 09:36:00 | 2h 17m | The World Below | There are some rough edges, specially if you don't go straight to the mines in the bigger world. Also, I am not particularly fond of the blind jumps, but maybe it's because this is not my type of games :-) <br/> <br/>I liked the idea and the graphics are blockish but cute ^_^ |
| Apr 30 13:43:00 | 4h 07m | Tiny Town vs. The Volcano | Nice concept, but the difficulty got too hard on level 4, I think. I wasn't unable to neither control the volcano nor gather up enough resources. |
| Apr 30 13:47:00 | 4m 00s | Flying Castles | I loved how the rooms were being destroyed when the ships suffered an attack. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to play with, so it was a little weird :-P |
| May 1 09:47:00 | 20h 00m | My Wonderful World | I didn't know what to do. The first time I tried to run it, I got to the intro screen but couldn't go to the game and the music kept playing until I uninstalled the game. After installing it again, I could play but didn't understood what I am suppossed to do. Trying to click the +/- buttons on the buildings increased the number by 6 or 7 each time, but I didn't see a difference and I just watched the number of humans go up, but no couples nor children. <br/> <br/>I think the music is cool, by the way. |
| May 1 09:55:00 | 8m 00s | Fart Together | Stretches the theme a bit too far, I think. Also, in a 48-hour competition you are not allowed external assets; this belongs in the jam. Great humor, though. |
| May 1 10:07:00 | 12m 00s | Save Tiny World | I don't like when the planet changes color without any apparent reason because when the colored part is small most of the time is under my finger and I think that I need a red meteor but it changed to blue, for instance, and <br/> I didn't see it. Some times it even changes just when I am about to collide with the correct color... <br/> <br/>Besides that, I liked the game, but I suck at it with only 523 points as high score. |
| May 1 10:15:00 | 8m 00s | tinyConquest | Great game! I echo the UI complains, but I loved the art style and the ambient. |
| May 1 10:24:00 | 9m 00s | Astronautics | It is a bit weird to be told to press tab on Android, and it took me a while to really understand what I was supposed to do, as the instructions came far too early and I even didn't see the rocked and all of a sudden (from my point of view) it was game over. <br/> <br/>The idea is nice and once understood I liked this game. |
| May 1 10:37:00 | 13m 00s | I want to turn the heater on | So I ended up in a room filled with beds and a chinese man... o_O I liked the simple controls, but the item swapping mechanic some times was a little frustrating. Also, I got the pot without givin Miguel any food by just changing room while standing behind him in the room below; I did that not on purpose and I got confused as hell when he asked for food. The last puzzle was not that obvious which reminded me of Monkey Island and this is a very good thing :-) |
| May 1 10:43:00 | 6m 00s | 0x17's-TinyWorld | The player moves too fast for me; it was impossible to even finish the first level. Even the music creates a tension of speed, which is good, but made things more complicated for me. |
| May 1 10:58:00 | 15m 00s | Tiny little World | I got the engine, but then everyone fell off the island and I couldn't continue paying. Rotating the island is weird on Android as it moves too fast and I get completely lost... and this is a small island! <br/> <br/>I loved the art. |
| May 2 06:54:00 | 19h 56m | A Super Mario Summary | Wow. Incredible how much content you've done in just 48 hours... |
| May 2 12:08:00 | 5h 14m | Tiny Cubic Maze World | I believe it was too easy to be fun. Maybe you can add some enemies, a timer, or even random path each time the game is run. |
| May 2 12:25:00 | 17m 00s | The Tourist | I found it a little too slow and it completely relied on luck; I didn't have a clue where the objects where. I liked the music. |
| May 2 12:31:00 | 6m 00s | Space Dozer | Pretty fun, but without collisions between the player and the buildings it is far too easy as I only have to move close to the tiny planet and shoot the buildings' base. |
| May 2 12:37:00 | 6m 00s | Atom Grid | Very clever indeed. I spent quite some time with this entry :-) |
| May 2 12:47:00 | 10m 00s | Downsize the World! | I have to echo the "billion of clicks" and the repetitive music comments. I thought that the idea is interesting, but it needs some work. |
| May 2 12:54:00 | 7m 00s | Dr. Biology's Educational Game | Excellent puzzle game! I wish I knew about the pushing before pulling my hair off, but once I found out I almost became excited :-P |
| May 2 13:15:00 | 21m 00s | Tinyvilization | "You: 128 Ennemy: 128 You Lost :'(" Eh? Why? WHY! <br/> <br/>The game's display doesn't fit my screen resolution and at first didn't see the commands section, which made me believe that the game is somehow controlled using the mouse and... holy crap, the computer is fast! Then I saw what I was missing and tried some unsuccessful strategies until I ended up with that 128/128 result but it seems I last anyway :'( <br/> <br/>It remains me a lot of "Core Wars", and this is a very good thing (also, nostalgia ^_^) |
| May 2 13:27:00 | 12m 00s | Tiny Cavern | The art style reminded me a lot to "Sissy's Magical Ponycorn Adventure" but it's a pity the gameplay is so short. |
| May 2 13:30:00 | 3m 00s | Micro World | Very basic gameplay but I found it charming nonetheless. |
| May 2 13:57:00 | 27m 00s | Nobody | Wish it was longer. And by that I mean the game :-D |
| May 2 14:07:00 | 10m 00s | Tiny Man | I got stuck most times when I turned big and sometimes I didn't even see the water, which turns out is deadly because I don't seem to get out. |
| May 2 14:09:00 | 2m 00s | Controlling | I loved your interpretation of the theme, but some levels where more a "now I HAVE to move ALL those blocks?!". I managed to fall off the world in some middle levels. Other than that, very nice! |
| May 2 14:21:00 | 12m 00s | Flyspeck | A little too short, but given the context of the competition, it's fine :-D The animations where excellent and I liked almost everything except for such a slow start. |
| May 2 14:25:00 | 4m 00s | AtmosFeast | It looks like a simple and boring game, but is quite addictive actually. The music also helps a lot to have the urge to keep playing it. Nicely done! |
| May 2 14:30:00 | 5m 00s | The Elves end the Shoemaker | Very cool! |
| May 3 12:43:00 | 22h 13m | Space Bear | Very funny story :-D |
| May 3 12:48:00 | 5m 00s | Planet Life | Brilliant |
| May 3 12:52:00 | 4m 00s | Aether | Awesome art |
| May 3 13:15:00 | 23m 00s | Memento XII | That was simply excellent. Congrats. |
| May 3 13:22:00 | 7m 00s | The Tiny World of Fiorella | Very cute graphics. I wish there were some kind of shield or something, otherwise the shooting enemies are too difficult for me. |
| May 3 16:38:00 | 3h 16m | SUBPIXEL | Good match-3 game, but I wish there were a way to win; as it is, it always gives me the sub-pixel color I don't need! :-D |
| May 4 06:35:00 | 13h 57m | Tiny Island Adventure | Like the others, I found the art excellent but the controls a little unforgiving. I am also not particularly found of "text sequences", but I guess this was a trade-off given the development time (I still can't believe you could do that in just 48 hours; this makes the game even more impressive). The level design was very clever and well thought, and I liked that in the lighthouse you've changed a little the mechanics with the barrels, because just jumping still obstacles was becoming a bit repetitive. <br/> <br/>All in all, a very nice game. |
| May 4 08:29:00 | 1h 54m | 70 seconds left | I really don't see the theme in there, but was interesting. I just suck as making combos, but has fun nonetheless. |
| May 4 08:34:00 | 5m 00s | Flyght | The graphics are cute, and I specially liked the kitten cloud. I don't really see how this game fits the theme, though. |
| May 4 11:38:00 | 3h 04m | Little City | Great art :-D |
| May 5 16:30:00 | 28h 52m | Tiny World! | Your "tiny" world is quite big, huh? I think it is impressive for a game made in just 24 hours. I whish it had some music, though. |
| May 6 12:13:00 | 19h 43m | Think Green | The music is very nice indeed and the game is surprisingly fun despite the simple gameplay, although it lacks strategy somewhat; pushing things around can only take you so far. |
| May 7 07:15:00 | 19h 02m | Ok...Now this is akward! | I laughed on some parts and enjoyed the whole of it. Very well done and an excellent take on the topic. |
| May 7 10:47:00 | 3h 32m | Cosmicro | Once I placed enough turrets as to not bothering shooting the aliens myself, and enough shields to not worry about the turrets, the game turned out to be quite boring with only shitting the odd fireball and spawning people and more people. Until that happened, though, I had a blast with this game. I concur with others that the art style is great. |
| May 7 14:00:00 | 3h 13m | ONLY US | Very very cute graphics. My only problems with this game is that when I try to build something it tells me how many rocks I need but not how many I have; I only have the bar which gives me an estimation. My other problem with the game is that is too addictive :-P |
| May 7 16:40:00 | 2h 40m | Nasty Bubbly - 72 Hour JAM Entry | Very fun and well polished. At first I didn't read this page and went straight to the game and was a little confused what to do except running away, until I decided to press space and I understood; you might want to add the instructions in-game. |
| May 8 06:52:00 | 14h 12m | Quarky | I couldn't enjoy this game because pressing the up or down key would scroll the page and the player wouldn't move until the page was all the way up or down. Thus, even though I managed to play 3 or so levels, I won't rate this game because I don't feel like I got the full experience. Sorry |
| May 8 07:02:00 | 10m 00s | Mini-Worlds and Monocles | It is a very simple platform. I like the sound effects and the music, and the art is OK, but I hadn't much fun with this game, and I don't usually enjoy this kind of "humor", so I skipped pretty much all the dialogs. |
| May 8 07:15:00 | 13m 00s | A day in your Life | I finally finished it, but I find it very frustrating that I need to die again and again in order to understand the "rules". It certainly fits the theme, but I didn't have much fun with all the re-starting needed. <br/> <br/>Liked the simple graphics and the humor when drowning and falling off the world, although I would prefer for the player to say the same without dieing. |
| May 8 07:21:00 | 6m 00s | Alien Punch! | Great humor, but I didn't enjoy the game that much because there is no strategy in it; just smacking around aliens and that is all. I wish there were more to do. |
| May 8 07:32:00 | 11m 00s | Hamster Bowling | It was so unexpected! Once you have the hang of it, it is quite easy, but fun nonetheless. Extremely awesome credits song! |
| May 8 07:43:00 | 11m 00s | Tiny Drop | Re-spawning is kinda confusing because the player does not start at the same position all the time and often you can start over an empty space… Other that that, it is a nice platformer game and I loved the state-changing mechanism. |
| May 8 07:45:00 | 2m 00s | Tiny Maze | It is indeed tiny :-) The collisions are a bit off and most of the time I go out of the screen border. It is not very innovative, either. <br/> <br/>However, having said that, congrats on finishing! |
| May 8 07:49:00 | 4m 00s | Children of DiscoDroid | It seems I have a performance issue when the robot is dancing: the image freezes, but I still can hear the big robot throwing… whatever is he throwing at me. |
| May 8 07:53:00 | 4m 00s | Tiny Whirled Piece | Interesting mechanic. At first I didn't know whether this was a game or some art-thing (either would be fine with me) because the first levels were so easy that I didn't have to do much. But it got interesting the further I went in :-) |
| May 8 08:04:00 | 11m 00s | Spitoon | Very interesting idea. Not sure how it applies to "tiny world", but was fun nevertheless. |
| May 8 08:09:00 | 5m 00s | LittlePlanetBigRocket | The player moves too slow in my computer that it makes the whole experience frustrating. I also wish I could rotate the planet so I could see the other faces, otherwise is just a hit-and-miss game; no strategy involved. |
| May 8 08:16:00 | 7m 00s | Nineties Holywood Hacker | I am not sure what does this game have to do with "tiny world", but it was very clever and fun. The pacing is a bit slow, though. Maybe if the ship could move a little faster it would make things more interesting inside the "pipes". The door opening sound effect was slightly annoying. |
| May 8 08:20:00 | 4m 00s | The Green Planet | A little too hard perhaps, but quite innovative, I think. |
| May 8 10:23:00 | 2h 03m | Housefly | Excellent execution of the theme. Congratulations! |
| May 9 12:33:00 | 26h 10m | Tiny Adventures In SPACE | I didn't reach the end because I was too bored to continue, frankly. Everything moves too slow and most of the time I have to "play catch-up with the stars" in order to amuse me. Only from time to time I have to dodge a slow-moving object towards me. <br/> <br/>The idea is good, but if only the game had a 5x speed-up, it would make it a lot more fun. More so with some fast-beat music! |
| May 9 12:41:00 | 8m 00s | Robots Are Red, Violets Are Blue | Great walking controls. I suck a lot trying to turn around and I always destroy everything in the vicinity ^_^ |
| May 9 12:48:00 | 7m 00s | Restless Island | At first I was confused what to do and just fell and fell until I didn't land and died. I guess the objective is to collect the coins, but I've spent 1/2 an hour already (without noticing!) and I only got to 100 points. I suck at this! :-P But I had fun nevertheless. |
| May 9 13:04:00 | 16m 00s | Shipwrecked | I can honestly say I don't know how to play this game. I can't even understand the walk-through; while playin I've never encountered a dungeon nor anything similar..... |
| May 9 13:28:00 | 24m 00s | Earth Is Dying! | Great! I've played at least 20 times trying different strategies. However, I feel like I don't have enough time each play... |
| May 10 07:05:00 | 17h 37m | Cracked | Excellent puzzle game! The level difficulty wasn't very consistent, with earlier levels being harder than later. The music was very cool and the sound effects cute. The idea is also great, but I can't see the link to the "tiny world" theme. |
| May 10 07:11:00 | 6m 00s | Microscopia | Truly an innovative game. However, the later levels in which I control all the microbes are impossible for me to figure out. The music provided an excellent atmosphere. |
| May 10 13:21:00 | 6h 10m | Tiny Timmy and Big Bill | A great game. Very polished and innovative. The only bad points I've found in this entry are that the music is a bit annoying after a while and so is controlling Bill sometimes, especially when moving backwards to look for a missing mustache. |
| May 10 13:27:00 | 6m 00s | Tiny Wizard | Very polished. I had problems with when I reached the other wizard that I got stuck between the two central columns and I couldn't get away from the foe and died, but other than that no complains at all :-) |
| May 11 06:59:00 | 17h 32m | Tondie and Zupe | Great little game; it has everything: action, a bit of strategy, and upgrades! <br/> <br/>After a while the game stopped the display and I could see that it received input because the buttons to place towers would switch from on to off depending on what keys I pressed, but the canvas was frozen. I use Firefox, so it might be the cause... |
| May 12 09:33:00 | 26h 34m | Tiny Parallel Worlds | I liked the idea of tiny parallel worlds and found the game too short; I want more tiny worlds! :-) |
| May 12 09:45:00 | 12m 00s | Triskelion | Although I like the idea, I am going to rate down in innovation; it is clearly bomberman. This doesn't mean I didn't have fun, though. On the contrary! I spent at least an hour with this game, which is a bit too unforgiving and I hate having to reload the page in order to restart (again and again and again…) |
| May 12 11:12:00 | 1h 27m | Balance | It is way too hard to control the ball on Android; can't even finish level 1... |
| May 13 08:56:00 | 21h 44m | Wander | 5/5 in humor! |
