Strong AI That was awesomer than awesome - it was, in fact, BZAWESOME! You achieved the "kept Phil's attention for more than 5 minutes" merit!! I'd play more of this if you made more. Things to do in your "more edition":

- Have more big bosses
- more interaction with the other robots

Good food journal, but I'm saving my 5 for the guy who had that disgusting pickle sandwich.
Mondrian Really cool use of the minimalist art work :) Would be nice if it was possible to try a level again. Maybe it was, but it wasn't obvious how.
Trivial Escape from Minimalist Island Great graphics. I got a bit stuck on one puzzle, but your tip helped me out. The only improvement I can see is adding some subtle music.
Things on Top of Other Things Good stuff, I really liked the addition of enemies. The one level where you had to re-stack 50 blocks was tedious, but the rest were great fun! I got through the whole game :)
Of Robots & Groglots Pretty neat game, but it made me kind of dizzy after a minute or so, so I gave up. Very good polish!
Still Pond Marvelous theme compliance. Might have been nicer if instead of being kicked back to the start, it just made you re-try that level or maybe just one back. Truely an art entry :)
Pixelman 3 I had a bit of fun with this one. It was certainly minimalist on innovation .. a bit more there would be nice. The graphics were minimalist, but I think the game would have kept my attention longer if they were minimalist in a more interesting kind of way.

All in all though, the engine seemed pretty decent and solid, so not bad :)
Block Picker 1.0 – final, timelapse Minimalist, no doubt about it!
warrior Gorgeous game! I loved the retro-demo B&W graphics!
Sailor Cool game, very neat implementation. To improve: make it so you draw with just free-form lines, that'd be even cooler :)
Tiny Hawk final release Sort of fun, but a bit too minimal for me. Changing directions would have done a lot for me. I liked the low-res art.
Exxon – The decontaminator Pretty fun one. Some music + sound would have kept my interest longer I think. Pretty good innovation I think.
dots Good solid fun :) The game was a touch fast for my slow fingers, but really it was a good one - I think I had more fun with this one than any of the others I've played so far.
Too minimal for a name… Bummer, it didn't work on my laptop :( The fan revved up and nothing really happened, but I was able to quit. I've got a Dell with some ATI 3D chip on it.
Mininode Interesting game, but I didn't ever understand what was going on, though I had fun clicking on the buttons. It looks good.
Title Unknown Pretty fun, very nice music :)
The white gazelle laughs maniacally App failed :(
WORLDMAKER Totally minimal. I'm still pushing for a color ANSI art in one of these.
The Pushers The best bit was getting to pick what kind of car I wanted to be :) Good theme compliance.
Framed! v1.1 Released I liked the use of "minimalist" frames, but the sound really made it hard to play! I suppose I could have muted it. I wasn't sure why I lost when I got to the end of the round either, oh well. I'm dense like that.
MinMo LD11 I thought the music was sort of interesting. The moving bars were cool, but sometimes frustrating.
miniPals The controls required too much mental power for me to really get into it. Peaceful music though :)
Simple Dungeon The application failed to initialize properly ... XP Pro here.
(T+48:48) Final Entry: BlockOut v0.LD48_11 No java here, sorry :(
Title Unknown Short of the people who didn't bother to compete at all, this was probably the most "minimalist" game in many sense. I wouldn't have scored it so high had it been just the game, but your "artists statement" was great! Made me laugh!
Kill ALL Life!!! I like conways life stuff. I think this would have thrilled me more if the visual wasn't quite so hard to follow. It made it hard to strategize. But the basic twist of taking the game of life and turning it into a "game of death" was pretty cool :)
Divine Asteroid Showdown Decent music and whatnot.
“Desktop Rox” Way cool tech :) Good stuff.
Leap , at least it’s something… Really cool look :) I'd like to see this game with a bit more gameplay :)
MiniMall App failed for me. XP Pro.
Space Stuff Trader The low res was nice, but it would have been nicer if you had the window at 800x600 and used pygame.transform.scale to size it up to that level. My LCD monitor blurs it pretty badly in fullscreen. Pretty looking game.
Dot2doT Nice use of the theme. A bit of quiet sound would have been nice. I think having the screen a bit bigger would have maybe been nice to, I always felt like I couldn't see far enough .. but that's sort of the point, so never mind me :)
As good as it is going to get I had some decent giggles smashing rats in the sewers. I'm not big on text games without some imagery, but that's just me. Rather impressive entry tech-wise, I think :)
Color eater Very different interface for sure. The game needed a sense of urgency though.
Title Unknown Yeah, faster would be way better. Yay for haxe.
Marginal Ungolf Spectacle Your classic DrPetter entry as of "20 hours" into the compo. Next time get after it, Dr! Your complete entries are always great stuff :)
Micro Macro I really liked the VGA-looking 320x200 sort of res feel to it. The particle effects were great fun. I never had any clue what I was doing, but it was fun anyways :)
Col-4 It's minimalist alright. Could have used a bit of pizazz. Excellent food entries :)
final version of my game The gravity effect was pretty cool .. the sound was a bit grating. Could have used better instructions as to what the objective is.
The Hunt for Pepsi Blue I got some decent giggles out of this one. The US map gave a good sense of progress. The graphics were minimalist for sure. I think the controls could have used some TLC somehow .. I had a hard time aiming my tank to kill anything.
RPG Battle Simulation I didn't quite understand immediately what was going on .. and then when I quit it popped up a "report this to M$" error. Oh well.
Title Unknown I liked the one clicking mouse interface.
minimalist rts Bonus point in the food category for eating corndogs!
Origami Wars No installers for me.
