Apr 28 16:04:10 1m 30s Catryoshka ♥ 4 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=3610s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ This was one of my top game so far! Very fun to play, I would love more levels!
Apr 28 16:06:12 2m 02s Bus Crawl ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: Part 1: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=hhHv4dLfMoE&t=391s Part 2: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=0s (Sorry we lost internet in the middle of your game) Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ This is a very relaxing and cute game, the balance is a bit off as it's too easy to make sooo much money but that's easy to fix. Very good entry!
Apr 28 16:09:54 3m 42s Of Void ♥ 2 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=4480s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ This is definitively one of my favorite game so far! Wonderfull design, well crafted puzzle and game mechanics! I just wish I could have a button to destroy the world at the end ^^
Apr 28 16:12:50 2m 56s Deeper Blue Sea ♥ 1 Hello @betovf You suggested your game for our stream yesterday but I don't think you were able to see us live. I uploaded our gameplay test on youtube so you can see it: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=9645s We had a lot of issue to control the fish, I think it's because we had a xbox controller plugged in our computer. Very cute game!
Apr 28 16:18:17 5m 27s HELL deep is your love? ♥ 8 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=5824s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ To answer the title: Hell deep is our love? Well, apparently not enough to survive until the bottom of Hell 😼 However, even if I lost often, I didn't get frustrated as I understood it was my fault. Some platformer game are unfair, yours is fair and well crafted. The only improvement I would suggest is to add an info about "wiggle left and right" to un-stun when a head touch you.
Apr 28 16:21:43 3m 26s Blobby Da Blobfish ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=6695s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ Difficult to control but very good use of pixel art. I also enjoyed the light-hearted story and humor. #turleisfoodtoo #yum
Apr 28 16:24:45 3m 02s Corresponding ♥ 1 Hello @p0l4r You suggested your game for our stream yesterday and were in Chat but I don't know if you managed to see it. I uploaded our gameplay on youtube so you can catch it later: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=7588s This is a really pleasing typing game and I really enjoyed it. I'm curious about the other options and it gave me desire to come back to it and play it again, taking my time, off-stream. Your game was Amazing Relaxing Suspenseful
Apr 28 16:27:25 2m 40s Deep Within ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=8529s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ Such a good concept, always keeping the player on the edge, asking the question "can I go a bit further before going back"?
Apr 28 16:32:08 4m 43s Aleph Qoph / Duat ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=10065s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ It's a gamble to use a radically different graphical style and I applaud you for it. Unfortunately, it really hurt my eyes and I couldn't play super long. I tried on a smaller screen too and the issue was the same. Too bad because I found the premise interesting and would have love to start planting breadcrumbs-tree around to go deeper and deeper until I find the perfect seed. (at least that's what I understood from the game) I feel like your name @ancient-pixel is on point for this game!
Apr 28 16:36:20 4m 12s Chloe's Inner Demons ♥ 4 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=11139s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ This game was really good, it felt like a real therapy. The graphic design is clean and fitting perfectly to the story, the control are easy to use, there is a nice atmosphere, overall: a very good experience. If I would improve one thing: I would speed up a bit the text speed, sometimes it was too slow and I had to pause while reading it to wait for the next word to appear. Great job!
Apr 28 16:41:14 4m 54s Jupiter II ♥ 1 Hey @wheffle I made a copy of our stream from yesterday on youtube if you wish to see us play again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=KLwrzc7DkDo&t=12655s Thanks for being part of the stream, yesterday was amazing! πŸ˜„ Jupiter II is a very well crafted game, and an impressive achievement for a one person compo. The gameplay is simple but intuitive and captivating and fun. The player keep wondering what's next in the depth of this alien water world. The game ramp up in difficulty nicely but doesn't become impossible, you achieved a nice balance. Congratulations
Apr 29 00:42:49 8h 01m Florida Simulator ♥ 1 Very nicely put together mini survival game. I didn't manage to beat it yet but I think I got pretty close! I will give it another try after a good night sleep. I don't know why, but I kept thinking the orange where cookie and we were planting cookie tree until I read the comment here and it suddenly made sense ^^ I'm living in such a cold weather country that tree + orange colored circle didn't mean orange tree for me hehe. (not that cookie tree are more logical :p) The game was super easy to get into, after my first death, I was able to understand perfectly how to play, it just took me an extra attempt to realize I could plant the branch to make a wood tree. This was the only not obvious part. Fun game!
Apr 30 09:34:39 32h 51m Dream Descend ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=633s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Sorry we didn't reach further than the second hour. Overall it's interesting, I was not frustrated while playing the platformer. It's a good sign, it means I was failling because of lack of skills and not because the game is unfair. Good balancing and level design. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and the music. A small improvement could make the game could be much more compelling: when we wake-up we could restart at the current level instead of having to restart from the beginning of the dream. This would have help me a great deal to lean muscle memory and practice. Good job!
Apr 30 09:37:36 2m 57s PANEMUAN ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=2095s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Your game was really interesting! I love the graphical design direction. Hand drawn style worked wonder. The story is good, overall a very strong game! Good job!

The graphics are very nice, I love your character. I think the game is fair but require more skills than I have. (I would need to train to reach deeper) Overall, a very good entry!
Apr 30 09:53:06 4m 38s Heart of Forest ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=6975s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Overall this is a good entry. I really enjoyed the low poly design, the flower lighting up as we pass them and the level design was pretty good too. I believe the control may have been hard to use sometimes but it was not a big issue. If I would improve one thing, but it's not obligatory, it would be to make the knife comes back to you after you throw it. I had to kill myself and restart the level sometimes to retrieve it. Congratulation though, this is a platformer that I enjoyed, and going for a 2.5d design is not common! I liked it!
Apr 30 09:58:24 5m 18s Deep Sewers ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=8216s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Overall this game is very good! The graphics are nice and all fit together well. I felt the vacuum mechanic could be improved, sometimes it wasn't working for me and it was not obvious if it was my fault for not understanding where to stand to vacuum, or the web version of the game not registering my clicks properly. I really like the progression, but I'm slow so I coudn't enjoy a lot of the upgrade. The price are steep! πŸ˜„ Good job!
Apr 30 10:04:33 6m 09s Decay ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=9486s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ This game is very depressing, whatever you do, you have to do down ^^ It was a very innovative way to implement the theme: balancing gauge of sadness to reach the bottom. I strangely enjoyed ruining my life!
Apr 30 10:08:08 3m 35s Cave King ♥ 2 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=10304s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Good controls and fun experience. I just got super unlucky with a few levels without chest in a row, this could be fixed easily in your random gen, I feel my run was stolen without chance to try fancier weapons. Overall, a very great game. Congratulation
Apr 30 10:12:13 4m 05s Catlantis ♥ 3 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=11924s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ This was a beautiful and fun experience wrapped with cuteness, danger and bubbles. You did an amazing job to make this game feel super polished, easy to control and interesting. I'm really impressed. The rate at which you loose your oxygen is well balanced as it still allow for a relaxing sessions but leave a bit a constant pressure and rush. Congratulation! One of my favorite so far <3
Apr 30 10:16:43 4m 30s Crust ♥ 5 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=13320s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Crust is a really, really impressive game for a game jam. If there was just a few more levels, I wouldn't have been angry to pay for this game on Steam. The controls feels good and intuitive. The level design is fun and challenging at times. The graphic design is beautiful and polished Honestly a 5 stars game for me! Congratulations.
Apr 30 10:25:37 8m 54s ROOTS ♥ 2 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=4153s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Since I saw this game before the stream, it is in my to-play list. I really loved the concept and wanted to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Your game is really relaxing while still providing challenge and a reason to come back. I love the progression as each skill improvement make a difference. In a way, we are seeing evolution in progress, each generation of tree adapting to its environment to thrive and grow bigger. This is addictive. I really appreciate that it saved my progress and I could come back to it later too! Congratulation, this is a great game!
Apr 30 10:31:10 5m 33s Project Asylum ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=5506s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ I was afraid at the beginning that this game would be about jump scare but I'm glad I was wrong. I really enjoyed this adventure in the asylum. The story is well done, each level feels different and brings new game mechanics. I love your character design, they are cute and creepy at the same time: great combo. The fact that my mouse horizontal axis was reversed really made it very complicate for me though, but it was not enough of a trouble to prevent me from loving the game. Congratulation!
Apr 30 10:39:54 8m 44s Cliffhanger ♥ 3 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=13973s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ Finally a multiplayer game! I was waiting for one since I started testing! Thanks for that. This is a fun take on 2 player fight. It took me a while to understand the controls but once I got them, it was easy to use them. I think the main point that confused me with them is the use of the same button to "reload a block" and to "shoot" but at the same time, it makes it easier to control once you understand the flow. I don't know if there is an easy solution other than a better tutorial. Maybe you could not shoot when the long press on the G is shorter than a few milliseconds, to prevent accident premature shooting of block. Overall, this was very fun! FΓ©licitation Γ  tous les deux!
Apr 30 10:48:44 8m 50s SUBERDEEP ♥ 2 Yarrr' So y'all want a review of ya journey in da deep sea? Not ready for a desk job yet, eh? Do be careful though, this review fill with praise! I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=14697s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ What a polished, compact, fun experience! I really enjoy everything about your game: the story, the graphic, the simplicity of the controls, the challenge, the variety between each level, etc. It's really a great game! Congratulation! ✌️
Apr 30 10:55:40 6m 56s Lucky Lefty Loves Leftovers ♥ 2 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=15568s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ I hope we didn't ruin your cooking! The graphics looks very good, I really enjoy the details you added to every single sprite. The texture change on the platforms, the cheese waves on the pizza slices, etc. It's sooooo cute! The game-loop is fun at the beginning but become repetitive after a few trips. I believe this could be improved just by reducing a bit the weight of each pizza slides so it would be easier to push more of them at a time. Sometimes I just wanted to have a huge stack of pizza and see them make a pizza avalanche. But overall, very cool entry! The best entry with snails so far 😸
Apr 30 11:00:58 5m 18s Frog ♥ 2 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=16416s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ This game is not only really impressive for the technology it used, but also fun to play it and the quality of your graphics. I'm not sure I would have figure out that I could move the bubble by myself if you didn't tell me though. Maybe adding a visual clue for the player could be a good idea, I'm not sure. I really enjoyed it, thanks!
Apr 30 11:05:38 4m 40s Deem ♥ 1 I uploaded our gameplay of your game on youtube, you can find it here: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=1F0Ywiy2Mt8&t=17251s Thanks for being part of the stream, it was amazing! πŸ˜„ I'm really impressed that you manage to make two completely different game during the jam. The first one a relaxing building/exploring experience, and the second one a chaotic fast and fun multiplayer shooter. The overall mood and atmosphere of the game is really good, the controls are really crisp and easy to use. We didn't build much during the stream, but your game would allow for a lot a 2d creativity. Very good games! Both of them. Congratulation.
Apr 30 13:31:31 2h 25m Going Down ♥ 3 Okay, Boss!
May 1 13:09:50 23h 38m Deep Cover ♥ 2 We played your game during our chill stream yesterday, here is the exact position in the video if you wish to watch us: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=6236s The visual style of your game is great! it really feels like a manga where you are the main character 😸 The audio is good, the story and choices are really fun. Just one thing confused us a bit, we were not sure if previous lies made to different character impacted the next encounter. (I don't know how to phrase it, but it make more sense in the video) Congratulation!
May 1 13:15:50 6m 00s SPACE WARS: EPISODE 1 - BREAKING THE STICK ♥ 2 Hello xkoster! Here is the link to the correct place in the video archive of our stream yesterday: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=1267s Thanks for being there ✌️ This is a really really good game. Awesome low pixel graphics, great Sci-Fi story with nice choices. Very easy and satisfying action sequences. The only thing we suggested to improve would be to add a bit more player interaction in-between large amount of text. As I re-watch the video, it doesn't have to be action scene, but it could just be more choices (even if they don't impact the outcome of the story) Here is my end picture: Screenshot 2021-05-01 151527.png
May 1 13:20:11 4m 21s Grave Hammer ♥ 3 You were not in the stream anymore yesterday but we tried your game. here is the link to the correct place in the video archive if you wish to see us play: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=3864s Unfortunately, we didn't manage to brew much. We were a bit confused and didn't know if we were trying wrong recipes or just brewing incorrectly. If we were brewing correctly but with the wrong ingredient, I would suggest to add feedback to the player. Either by creating a 'failed brew' item that can be sold for 1 coin. or by just having a different text on screen. Other than that, the graphics are nice and the hammer smash feels good.
May 1 13:23:45 3m 34s DEPTHS ♥ 0 We played your game on stream yesterday, thanks for being there with us! Here is a link to an archive of the video if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=4669s I really really enjoyed this game! The minimalist design is really good, the story is interesting but I wanted more 😺 This feels like a good intro demo of a great game! What's up with the jelly fish? Why is there people in the city under the sea? I'm waiting for episode 2 ^^
May 1 13:25:56 2m 11s Deep Investigation ♥ 3 Quack quack quack. Quaaaack quack quack quack. Quaaak Quaaaak Quack quaack kwack: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=3001s Kwak quak. ❀️ πŸ‘
May 1 13:30:14 4m 18s Dungeon : Developer's Away ♥ 1 Here is a link to the video archive of our playtest on stream yesterday: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=4380s Thanks for being there! This is an impressive entry for just an 8 hour jam! My only improvement would be to improve a bit the attack animation, make it more obvious. Congratulations!
May 1 13:35:45 5m 31s Deeper and Creeper ♥ 2 We played your game on stream yesterday with @lillybyte . Here is a link to the correct place in the video archive if you wish to see it: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=7170s Great atmosphere on this game, I can really see it being fun to play with many people on stream. The controls were super easy to handle and the visual effect are on point! Congratulation and... hqdefault.jpg
May 1 13:38:45 3m 00s Downward Frog ♥ 1 We played this game yesterday on stream. Here is a link to the correct place in the video archive if you wish to re-watch it: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=IQdJ_KaE1bI&t=8338s I really enjoyed it! Very good graphics, good ambiance, nice challenge! I specifically love the way you did the tutorial, it could have info about dash + arrow to move quick though, but that's not a big issue. Congratulation!
May 3 10:57:10 45h 18m Goblin Heist ♥ 3 We played your game two days ago on our stream. here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=665s This is really a cool game and I can see player trying to speedrun it to reach the best score. I would just adjust the goblin movement so they match the player, or adjust the player movement so they match the goblin. Turning should be 1 turn for both or 2 turn for both. That would remove the only issue I can see in this game! Congratulations!
May 3 11:01:28 4m 18s Mineshaft ♥ 2 What a Blast! My wife and I played your game in stream and we really enjoyed it! Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=1481s The gameplay is really nice and I'm sure we can come up with very interesting strategies and it can become very complex. The only thing I would suggest is to allow player to zoom on the card in the shop before buying them, it was a bit small to read for us and we had to rely on your description in this page to know what the card did. Congratulation! This is really a cool game! ✌️
May 3 11:03:01 1m 33s Grave Fallers ♥ 2 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=2488s I really enjoyed it, this is really fun to play. Congratz!
May 3 11:05:30 2m 29s Ludum Dante’s Inferno ♥ 1 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=3120s Very good for your fist 3d game! Congratulation. We got lost a few times and didn't reach heaven but I'm sure with a bit more practice I could have done it! As a small improvement, I would suggest to add more variety in your world texture to help the player locate where they are. It would help a lot.
May 3 11:07:42 2m 12s Deep Mole ♥ 1 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=3701s Good game, I'm not sure if I understood correctly the survival mode, is it an infinite mode without end where you try do go the deepest you can? Nice mole though, very cool sunglasses ^^
May 3 11:15:01 7m 19s Deep Lost ♥ 2 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=4122s What a nice game! It was fun to play, the control were nice and as a player bad at platformers, I really enjoy your generosity with checkpoints. The game is really dark though, a bit too dark. I think you could tweak the size of the emission of the torchlight or the light circle around the player without it affecting too much the gameplay. The control of the torchlight could also follow the mouse, regarding of the facing direction of the player, this would make it much more usable. But theses are small nitpick ^^ Congratulation!
May 3 11:16:46 1m 45s ScanR ♥ 1 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=4964s I really enjoyed this game, the game mechanic was really innovative for me.
May 3 11:19:22 2m 36s Detective Pier ♥ 1 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: SPOILER WARNING!! https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=5715s We really enjoyed this murder mystery! The atmosphere of the whole city is gloomy and intriguing. The text font could have been larger though, it was a bit hard to read at time, but overall, very good game!
May 3 11:22:24 3m 02s Rex's Wizardspace ♥ 2 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=11460s A strong tech demo. I didn't dislike the graphic too and the spell casting concept was fun ✌️ This remind me of magicka in a way, like a very distant cousin.
May 3 11:25:50 3m 26s Sheltered Deep ♥ 2 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=7940s Very beautiful, but at a cost. My gamer laptop could barely run it, and it crashed at the end 😭 I got lost easily and didn't understand that doors where doors for a while! Thanks that my Wife was next to me and force me to go click one :) I think this could be avoided but having a handle on the door maybe? or buying a new potato brain for me, either way 😼
May 3 11:29:15 3m 25s Orange Diver: The Great Drown ♥ 2 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=9047s Super fun game, I loved the physics, the game loop and the promotional poster straight out of old movie style. It may be a bit hard to realize that most object, in the foreground and background are not harmful. At first hand, I would assume that a shark with red eyes is dangerous to the diver, but no, it isn't. We had a blast playing your game! thanks
May 3 11:33:32 4m 17s ONI ♥ 1 We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=10123s One of the best story/puzzle game I played. Very well put together. The story was the perfect length for a jam too, long enough to be complex and short enough to be completed and provide satisfaction. The only things I would improve are: The bloom on the portal is too much, the light from it was really blinding to see in the overall dark environment. The voice over narration was really low for me, it would help greatly to add subtitle as you already have the tech present in your game. (some subtitle appear when you mouse over some items) But overall, congratulation, this is an amazing game!
May 15 01:02:29 277h 28m Space Dig ♥ 1 Hello @lawrence As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=412s I really enjoyed your game, it reminds me a lot of void expanse, in a good way πŸ˜ƒ The controls are really good once I understood I could reverse hehe. I would love a slower progression on the pirates though, but I'm sure that with a bit more training I could survive longer. Congratulation, really cool game!
May 15 01:04:41 2m 12s Monday ♥ 0 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=1220s Worst monday ever 😏 But very cool game overall, just when I was complaining a bit too much about not having ammo for my gun, a zoombie dropped some. I enjoyed it! Well done :)
May 15 01:08:16 3m 35s Resurface ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=2120s What a pretty game! I wish I could have explored this sunken ship without having to worry about my oxygen. Maybe you could consider a sandbox mode just to relax around. I made the mistake, I presume, to not buy extra oxygen tanks as my first purchase, I think it doomed me. As said in the video, it would be a great addition, if the shop could give info on how much extra second each level of tank can provide. Other than that, simple controls, nice athmosphere, but I wasn't able to understand anything about the voice speaking from time to time because there was too much distortion applied to it. Maybe it's by design. Amazing entry in the jam! Congratulation
May 15 01:12:33 4m 17s Graphite Journey ♥ 3 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=3850s This was such a nice and different game, I really enjoyed your graphical style. Too bad the story ends so suddenly, I was getting into the mystery and suddenly... game ended ^^ Congratulation, this was really a wholesome game.
May 15 01:16:49 4m 16s Aftermath ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=4274s What a nice well package litle narative game. I really enjoyed it. The spacing between letters in the text made it super hard for me to read, maybe something related to dyslexia, but it could be fixed really easily. Other than that, nice graphics, mostly in the waking up scene, and I enjoyed the way the story evolve naturally according to your actions instead of just dialog choices. Congratulation! Very cool game
May 15 01:24:24 7m 35s the truth in the darkness ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=5180s - Imzary was alone in front of an unknown theme of the LD48. When suddenly the revelation hit: Deeper and deeper. - Imzary started brainstorming. Searching ideas, going deeper. - In front of him was a powerup 2x: adding a super cool narative style - Imzary jumped and added it to his arsenal. - But he had to keep going, go longer in the night. - After a while, Imzary found a new powerup: the glowing eyes of simple, yet impactful, beautiful and effective graphics. - At the 40th hour, Imzary thought his journey was over. - But a new power up came about: enjoyable gameplay, smooth controls and good level design. Congratulation on this game, I really enjoyed it! I feel that the camera could be a tiny bit zoomed out, sometime the player has to make "leap of faith" and hope there is a platform in the direction of the next jump. The narrative style is amazing at the beginning, but could be improved for the second half of the game. Congratulation, this is really impressive for a 48h game
May 15 08:50:54 7h 26m 48 Tons ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=5906s I may have missed some major gameplay as I didn't go deeper than level 7. But overall, this is a very interesting and different entry. I think I will give it another try out of stream to be able to take my time, and find more interesting lore and jokes. It's really cool to have managed so much in 48h, I just wish my in-game decision felt more impact-full. Maybe they are later in the game.
May 15 09:16:06 25m 12s Explory Story ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=7510s What a neat game! I really love it: the concept, the art-style and the variety of triggered action per words where awesome. It would have been even better for me if the text where organized in 4 columns book to avoid having to go left and right constantly to read the story. The random long pause to walk back to the beginning of the next line, combined with the possible distractions of words along the way make it harder to me to comprehend the sentences. Here is an exemple of what I mean as it my explanation may not be clear in the video: Inspiring-Book-Design-Tennis-Book-3.jpg Congratulation, you made a really cool game!
May 15 09:20:13 4m 07s Muggy Lake ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=8346s Really atmospheric game with a sense of danger contently lurking around the corner. I enjoyed the controls after a while as they felt correct for a barge/boat. The "find the item to unlock next part of the map" mechanic is good as well as it is not as simple as red card to red door. I enjoyed that the first wooden gate had to be open with a key and not with the axe. Unfortunately I died without any opportunity for me to prevent it, as far as I know, in the first rapid torrent leading to a monster. Really cool game, congratulation!
May 15 09:22:58 2m 45s Dig World ♥ 1 Hey @kuviman, I already tried your game during one of your stream but unfortunately I was alone online at that time So I gave it another try during one of my stream. Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=8958s We were just two playing together but we had fun. Your game is really impressive for a ludum dare, multiplayer game always amaze me. Congratulation
May 15 09:41:45 18m 47s Stolen Time ♥ 2 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=9707s What a impressive world building and a fun game mechanic. You made a very impressive game with really nice 3d art a cool game mechanic. I don't have much to say except that I'm not sure I understand why the resolution needed to be 4 by 3. I guess this is an artistic choice on your part but the game would not loose any charm in full-screen and it would allow us to enjoy more your nicely decorated world. This is not a major issue though, overall your game is amazing! Congrats.
May 15 10:01:56 20m 11s Under the Surface ♥ 5 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=10822s Unfortunately I downloaded the windows version and it seems that it doesn't contain tutorial. I played the webgl version later and managed to go much further by taking my time and clicking everywhere. This game has great potential, I can see the greatness in the graphics, design, story line but the user experience is really hurting it. A few changes could make it much more user friendly: (those are just suggestion, you may find better solutions) - Not blocking the click on the bottom right corner of the screen to go futher in the story. Allow the user to click anywhere to proceed. - Not opening a drop-down menu when the player click on a world item that only has one interaction, just do that interaction. - Some text say sometime akind: "ok time go to the elevator" but another call on the walkies talkie is require before the elevator works. Ironing out false clue like this one could remove a lot of frustrations. Sorry I didn't manage to go far in your game during the stream, I see the potential in it, but unfortunatly the ui beat me.
May 15 10:05:15 3m 19s Deep End ♥ 1 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=11785s I really like the concept of this game, it could be a great challenge. Unfortunately the control are really hard, well, at least without a good playground to try them properly first. I believe your controls are actually good, but the level always start with very small corridor where your sub has to squeeze through. An experience player can probably pass them super easily but someone that never played the game won't be able to. I think if you had a starting area with larger corridor, less obstacles, and slowly increased the difficulty, this game could be really rewarding for the player. Good job!
May 15 10:11:30 6m 15s Halt ♥ 2 As promise, I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=12660s What a super cool and cute game! I really enjoyed it until the end! Sometimes I had issue throwing the grapling hook, I don't know if It's me not understanding a part of the mechanic, my mouse eating my right click or an issue with the webgl version. I know webgl may sometimes be capricious with repeated mouse click on chrome. Your story is really fun, the graphics are really nice and cute, and the difficulty progression is fair but still challenging! Congratulation, this was really enjoyable 😸
May 15 10:16:14 4m 44s Mycelisation ♥ 3 I finally had time to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=13099s What an impressive game, it's not frequent to see a 4x (or xxx in your case) game that also has very good graphics and audio. I really enjoyed the mechanic overall, my video was on easy mode but I went back to the game and played the harder version with blockers later. I never even had to upgrade any spore in easy, but it became very handy in the hard mode. I'm really impressed by this game, congratulation!
May 15 10:32:50 16m 36s The power of the deep ♥ 2 I had the opportunity to play your game on stream :) Here is a link to the correct place in the video: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=Sx1MQ445u7k&t=14040s Your will find my review in french in the video. To resume it here in english: You had a really fun game, the character sprite is really cute and the controls are easy to use. It was a bit confusing to understand what is the benefit of picking up the power-up. I understood they value they changed in the ui but not what was the gameplay benefit of more mana. On a last note, the flashing background color could be a bit more pastel. It's nice to indicate the level of craziness of your character with a background that change color, but the colors you pick are too saturated and can bother the eyes a bit. Overall, this was really fun, even though it was vey short.
May 16 13:56:38 27h 23m Deep Mine Ventures ♥ 1 Even in the fixed version I managed to get soft lock, the jump was contently a few pixel too low to reach a way to go back to the dirt layer. Other than that, nice work. I like the graphics and audio.
May 17 17:13:35 27h 16m The Shrinking ♥ 2 I finally found time to play your game since you proposed it a few days ago in my stream (Tobugis here) It took me a long time to get used to the control and understand what was making me shrink and what was not making me shrink, I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the intro text. This game is beautiful and has an amazing atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of inside, but less creepy 😈 I feel that the jumping is a bit off, but I don't know how to describe it properly. Sometimes, according to my size, the animation was clearly allowing the character to jump on top of a platform, but the physic denied it and the character got stock on the side of the platform then felt. I don't know what cause it, it made the game harder to understand. However, once I got used to the quirkiness of the controls, this was really fun. A last suggestion of improvement, if you ever decide to continue this game: when you get very small, most of the screen become black and it's a bit hard to distinguish between what is the background and what are game objects. It may be interesting to step the gamma up a notch, or to add a setting to change it as ever player screen is different. Other than that, amazing entry! Congratulations!
