Why is "EAT" so hard? I couldn't even eat one apple, so when I finally got it I was surprised to see 4+ more. :joy:
A fun simple little game. I enjoyed the voice acting and humor!

A fun simple little game. I enjoyed the voice acting and humor!
Very interesting concept. I thought the story was interesting and the questions and answers felt well thought out and moved the story along.
I echo the others about the egg gameplay -- I realize part of the theme was for it to me monotonous, but I also felt like I was completing it so I could get back to the story. It would be fun if the egg section was as engrossing as the story.
I was also a little confused by the end. I thought I did the right thing, but while the art was very cool, I'm not sure if I understood exactly what happened. Regardless, I'm glad I played and got to experience.
I'm glad that even though there weren't a lot of sounds, there was a little jingle when the puzzle was completed. A great cue to know the door opened (sometimes behind me) and I found myself really getting excited when I heard it. A very fun little game to work through.
Cool concept and design, but I had a bit of trouble with controls. I think I also dropped the keycard behind the wall on the first playthrough. Like others said, making the controls a little bit more precise would be awesome!
The visuals were cool. It would have been nice to have a few more branching paths, but understandable given this is a solo game jam.
@trsthstrs some requests may have come at night which means the picture might have been a bit darker.
I really love the text on the cards. Made me laugh. :)
This was perfectly paced for a game jam like this imo. Really well done and a memorable experience.
I really liked the vibe here. It's cool to see everyone else's friends. (Many of which are much more creative than mine. )
This was a fun little game! A lot to do by one person in a few days!
There were some minor issues like the popups to tell me how to interact seemed misplaced at times (telling me to water my plant after I harvested it).
I could only hold one present in inventory at a time, and after I gave the present to someone the next day the visual reset to 0, but the next present would bump the counter correctly -- so just a visual error. I think it would also help to include a direction about how to switch your items.
Those were all pretty minor though, I enjoyed the game and was engaged to play til the end. :)
Simple but fun. I felt so proud when i finally got a perfect burger.
Fun and cute game! I really enjoyed the visuals and music and thought it was an interesting and unexpected spin on tower defense.
I think it would be cool if you could sell some of the organs you get to maybe buy different powerups. I wasn't sure if the different animals had different weaknesses/strengths, but that could be another way to add difficulty and strategy to the game.
I enjoyed the sounds of the blocks falling, and it was interesting to read. I too wish that we could see vertical lines clear too.
I enjoyed the graphics and sounds! It was fun to play local 2 player mode as well. I think the game could benefit from a slightly larger area to move around and maybe more candies to interact with :)
Cool concept! I struggled a little bit with the "too far" (I think sometimes it popped up when the block was colliding with the wall)
Impressive work for the short amount of time.
I have to admit I was sucked into the game trying to get all the flowers. Very addictive :) I had to play until the end.
One small thing that I think could make the gameplay better is making the symbols on the cards a little larger. Sometimes it was hard to see what things I needed to combine.
It could be cool to have a mechanic to request certain types of cards. Maybe it is in the game but I couldn't figure it out.
Simple but fun game. One of the enemies killed me after I won though
Wait what happened at the end?! I was about to buy an upgrade and then...!
That was fun especially when it really started going!
It's always cool to see games with voice acting! This was pretty funny!
Yay! I had a lot of fun with this one. The graphics were so cute and I enjoyed the vibe. I couldn't help but play to the end to complete all the levels.
A few small things: * I noticed I was able to pull some of the items out of the bag partially which seemed not intended by the puzzles * Some of the larger objects could only be pulled from the top which was not always intuitive.
Very minor things -- I really enjoyed this game!
@brian-russell The speed up option would be cool! Thanks for playing!
The mechanics were hard for me to understand, and I don't think I figured out how to play. Interesting concept though.
It was cool to read your story about creating a similar game 11 years ago and still doing game jams today. This was fun!
This game felt too real! The writing was witty and the art was also quite nice. Overall I enjoyed playing!
Interesting concept! Not sure if I missed something but I wasn't able to progress too far.
Cool concept! I really liked the keyboard to input movement. It was pretty intuitive and worked well! We had a similar concept in our game for limiting movement to a few key actions, so it was cool to see it implemented in a different way.
One thing that would have been neat is seeing the instructions for bots lost to the dungeon. Sometimes I would get so far, but then lose the robot so it would be nice to mostly replicate the path.
Interesting concept. So many of my souls had lizards for some reason. :joy:
