This took you 48 hours to make? What an amazing waste of time.
I think it lacked speed as said previously. The aesthetic is not its strongest point either, but it was an OK-game to practice our abilities.
Not an original idea as someone said, just an old lie/truth problem applied to the topic. The game is poor visually although i enjoyed the basic animation behind the correct or false answer.
Best game i played so far and, trust me, i'm reaching 1 thousand of them! I would give it a 10/10 if it had music! Pls make more levels and share with the community, those mechanics are great!
It was fun to incarnate on a giant turtle, smashing the cube-like citizens as little ants while unlocking OP powers. Although the lack of music and the monotony quickly got to me.
It was a simple and original sketchy game. Love the fact you can whistle and play the guitar at the same time xD or you can just go mad and smash everyone around you until they refugee into the castle and tell their kids! It wasn't the most brilliant one but it sure was amusing.
Awesome game! Loved the shapeshifting touch as a way to perform and hide a lot of didactic activities, joining it with humorous lines that brightens the story itself. Would love to see more from you on this 16bits style.
Man, i really could dive all day with this shark. The movements are smooth and that weird satisfaction of devouring the victim on a jump is priceless. It surely could grow more with levels and more events.
I really enjoyed it. Took me a bit to find out the controls but the gameplay and the strategic part are there. Wish we could have more weapons though.
You gotta keep developing this! This can turn into a real oldschool Furemon aventure! Loved the dodging, but maybe it would be fair to let the trainer have its own turn of action.
Best vampire simulator i experimented in years! That teleport power was a genius touch and the humor was sublime.
Was expecting less at the first sight, but it has great mechanics and made me looking forward for more levels. Maybe the boss should be only played at the end though and insert some limition to the amount of attempts so we have to restart the game all over again if we die :p
Too slow for me... also it turns out difficult to compete with someone who causes you so much damage.
Well, i did enjoy the feeling of the game, and you probably could add some dangers in the future, i mean... there's really nothing that can kill you and it's pretty easy to smash all the environment around you and kill the folks. It offers no gameplay challenge but it's a good base for development.
No download links available.
I do feel like a monster after playing this one.
It started to be interestng but i got boring after less time than i expected. Still a nice concept and elevator music, made me chill.
It sure was an original idea applied with with not many resources but with a rather gratifying ending. Mostly enjoyed the small details during my sneakily approaches, considering it would be a bit repetitive without them.
You guys really gave a lot of details on this one, it certainly compensated the download time. I felt some pixel dragging mostly under water but i fear my pc as something to do with that. It's a simple and fairly visually pretty game that could be a applied for young generation's usage.
Honestly i was expecting some more action and blood other than collapsed well-designed 3D blocks on a slow rhythm pace. Not the best i have seen today but neither the worst.
Hallelujah, brothers and sisters! This game rocked! Couldn't stop it until i finished the last level. The characters, the voices, the deadly machines... everything on its proper place. The only negative point: there's not much strategy on it, people may think they need to spawn them in different locations but, on exception to one level, i managed to pass them all with a single concentrated crowd and having the luck to have a fairly amount of fat priests xD
That's the prime concerning of every father right there! Fortunately could save 5 of my tween blue dressed girls before being stomped to death. I hope they find their mother, cause they are only gonna see their dad on the news tomorrow.
Too happywheelish for me, but it's fun to practice our reflexes and balance. Not the game of the year but a nice break between the sad things i've seen.
Interesting mechanichs indeed and truly fits the theme, will save it on my pc for future hours of fun! Nice job!
Well, it was a nice twist at the end, by the time i was actually thinking on quitting the game. Although you could have put more effort on graphics.
Well, it did made me stick around until the end, but it was all a bit monochromatic and undetailed. The final scene is not really that beautiful, although i got the message.
Really enjoyed the arcade touch and the visual monster attacks, like if we are the bad guys controlling the scene. It hasn't really a goal per say, but it was amusing to try something different.
Click games are not really my kind of game, but this one made me change my mind for a few minutes. It was a nice effort.
Just disappointing.
Totally think that the flashlight effect and soundtrack were the positive points on all this. Negative ones i would say the concept as we are not really the monster here and a coupe bugs like the supreme speed shooting while pressing R and the "friendly" zombies.
Quality twist. The old arcade feel and minimalist song also did the trick.
Didn't like it. Everything felt too sketchy since the models until the gameplay itself. Only the buildings got my attention.
I did enjoy the light physics on this one although a tutorial on how to use the abilities other than Stun would be deeply appreciated. Also, the game freezes after a restart.
Loved the movement mechanism, adding a puzzle component to an apparent shooting game that would be boring without it. A morbid soundtrack would make it even better.
Really funny sound effects and quality mechanics. As i didn't read the instructions at first, it seemed harder than it really is, althogh it surely takes time to dominate and it really interested me.
I don't quite understand where's the relation to ludum dare's main theme, really. Just seemed like you guys had a plan on your mind a bit distorted from reality and yes, i read your development process. The game itself doesn't bring anything original as it would be expected from such "outside the box thinking" and lost me after the third collision. Nevertheless, the art was great on your report and the talent is there, but the application is unfortunately lacking.
IT worked fine for me on windows 8 (x64).
At first i didn't know what was going on, but... this is really an harsh war scene. I found it a little sketchy and surely won't win any prize but still was fun to click a few times.
It was, by far, the best soundtrack i heard today, it really gives some more rhythm to the gameplay. I never was really able to complete the pentagram, it always missed some edge although i could stay alive for nearly 96 seconds. I think you guys could able the L and G keys while moving, unless that's really your intention to keep it that way. I also realized on a bug: my man character adopted the "dead form" and kept on being alive xD so it got faster and allowed me to survive longer.
I did enjoy the models but the all experience is indeed very short and the options are not that many. Still i enjoyed to fly a little bit and strike down on a smash everyone under me.
Too angrybirdish, be more original next time.
This is one of the reasons i keep trying the more than 2 thousand games on the list. Some funny dark humor moments and an endless horse massacre.
One of the most artistic games i have seen so far, it truly shows the side behind all the happy endings. Gameplay is smooth and the story is itself interesting, would love to see a continuation!
Well, on my experience, the bull moved at the speed of light and i couldn't play 1 second of it. Hopefully we don't have this species on our arenas, would be a blood bath.
Well, i have been playing for 15 minutes so far and i'm not sure this is supposed to work like this.
I mean, i'm on day 2, level 12, a poor guy died, can't do experiments on the third and realized if i don't feed or water the others, their damages just assume negative values so i can keep on experimenting without killing them. As a result, i grew some nice 11.000$ but can't do much else besides repeating the process infinitely.
By the youtube video, seemed really fun! Too bad i couldn't touch it by myself on the pc.
Agree with silverfyre about the delay, but maybe it would turn it too much OP. Nevertheless, doge could give it some halth boosts oncein a while like a brain milkshake! Overall great graphics and soundtrack.
Try harder next time.
I really got mesmerized by the graphic's part. The monster animation is really smooth, the movement well coordinated considering the dimensions of the beast and the scenario is colorful, modern and nicely detailed. You guys could have given it a soundtrack and a few blood cause it's inevitably to smash a couple persons along the way to the sea.
Loved the simplicity, sound and particle effects on this horrific snake game remake. We totally should keep an eye on this one.
