LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Ludum Dare: The Game by Darylsteak 2018-12-03T14:03:50Z

That is awesome! I really liked the graphics and the idea. Just a few notes: The cursor was the same color as the buttons, so I couldn't always tell where the cursor was. Also, what does that polish button do?

LD44 — Your life is currency

Soul Search by SoerenBachNielsen 2019-04-29T19:32:13Z

Great story, although the end was a strange because the reaper just left at the phone booth and I didn't know if that was the end.

Space Struggle by meursault 2019-04-29T19:46:13Z

Really interesting game! I liked the color scheme and visual style a lot!

Idle Idol by Daniel Moreno 2019-05-01T10:46:43Z

That has to be the best game I've played during this jam! Very cool concept and gameplay!

ChemisTree by tthe 2019-05-01T15:34:44Z

Very interesting concept, although I didn't really know if you are just supposed to copy the thing on the right or create some unique combination. Also the tutorial was pretty long, but I definitely see some light with this idea if executed correctly. Nice game!

Self Surgeon by chuckeles 2019-04-29T19:22:07Z

Really nice idea and great execution!

Heart of the Grove by johnnydalvi 2019-05-01T16:20:20Z

Absolutely beautiful game! The concept was original and the sounds amazing! Wonderful game!

Lifestream by Manus 2019-04-28T18:14:49Z

Oh. My. Goodness. That is one of the most visually beautiful games I have EVER seen. That's some Ori and the Blind Forest level visuals. Wow. There's still one thing I didn't quite understand: the controls. Sometimes the matter just spilled everywhere and sometimes it just stopped following.

But overall, that is an absolutely gorgeous game!

Koe by velvetlobster 2019-05-01T15:27:42Z

Very atmospheric and great sounds, but the popups kinda distracted the gameplay

Heartly by Eldemarkki 2019-04-29T18:18:20Z

@martynas Oh yeah, that’s a good fix. Forgot to do it because I haven’t done that much with UI. Thanks for the suggestion!

Billy The Man by Dani Desa 2019-05-01T10:21:24Z

Very cute and beautiful voxel graphics, but I wish there was more than just shooting the enemies,

Fair n Square by DaniDev 2019-04-29T19:00:00Z

Nice and addictive gameplay and great visuals! Also if you chose triple-jump at start, it cost 15 hp instead of 10

Cowry by Jozef 2019-05-01T16:05:30Z

Fun and simple cow game! I really liked the visual style of it!

EXCESS by ratz 2019-05-01T15:44:22Z

Very well polished. All the effects and shakes and stuff really made it fun! Great game!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

No Need To Get Frustrated by phi 2018-04-24T18:14:06Z

It looked so cool when the level transformed into the puzzle and vice versa. Also, the minimalistic style fits it perfectly!

Bari - The Fisher Plane by Scruffy 2018-04-24T13:38:04Z

Those graphics are amazing! Wish you could do some tricks with it ;)

SNAK3 by geeitsomelaldy 2018-04-23T19:28:51Z

I liked this, fits perfectly with the theme.

Tennis Z by UnidayStudio 2018-04-23T19:17:11Z

Omg, this is the best Ludum Dare game I've played so far, and probably will be in the top 3 of mine!

The only problem I had was that at the start I didn't really know what to do but after 5-10 minutes of playing, I got it. Also, I think it would be funnier if the zombies didn't attack you (just 1v1), it's kind of a distraction, but maybe it's supposed to be quite difficult.

10/10 would play again!

No Escape: A Horror Setting Tower Defense by ScrambledFox 2018-04-23T17:12:10Z

Your game was pretty good, I was first having trouble finding the controls, but then I came back to here and saw that they had been in front of my face the whole time 👏. Overall, I like the idea and the execution, but I think it should have a creepy little background music.

Quick Down by Hugimugi7 2018-04-24T14:07:50Z

Very clear goal, it was actually quite hard (I had like 20 enemies following me at some point). Somehow I still managed to survive to the second wave... The gun looked a bit weird, was it pixelated at runtime?

Incremental Maze by Ed B. 2018-04-23T18:29:36Z

I really liked the idea. Like @Andreadbx I also think there should be more upgrades (Not really sure what kind of)

My game is also a maze game, you should check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ragerint

Kartonnki by Dumivid 2018-04-24T15:12:42Z

Very difficult, but also addictive

Daxua by mainghia95 2018-04-24T16:00:47Z

That art style was very nice, and it also very professional music

Tennis Hero by JeffChen 2018-04-24T12:43:29Z

Those graphics looked so cool, could add some neon lights as well! But I think you should be able to move with WASD

Sheet Music Editor Shoot'Em Up by hypp 2018-04-24T17:57:33Z

The theme was very well implemented here. I think the font was sometimes hard to read; too pixelated, even though I like pixel art games.

pressspace by Michael Arcadi 2018-04-24T14:34:04Z

Nice game! I think it could have been better if the characters didn't stop, rather move slowly but constantly. There were some grammatical errors, but otherwise, very cool!

You Have My Word by BauBau 2018-04-24T14:25:57Z

Cool idea! The car moved just as I wanted it to!

BlowScape by Fleoh 2018-04-24T15:06:26Z

Nice looking art, steampunk-ish. Also quite stressful because you always had to be at ~5 places at the same time :D

Divine Dungeoneering - A roguelite godgame by Tmvant 2018-04-23T18:21:00Z

That was fun! The movement felt a little sloppy, maybe because it always moved exactly one unit in some direction. It was also a cool idea, a dungeon crawler with a time limit. I hate time limits in games, too stressful :smirk:

Overall, very cool game. Managed to survive till year 1070!

Farmer 21 by Jon_Nova 2018-04-24T15:47:10Z

Yesyesyes I love pixel art games! Took me a while to learn how to interact with things (You should always read the user manuals, no matter if it's a Ludum Dare game or an Ikea table...)

Reverse by MrJake7X 2018-04-24T12:34:07Z

Nice idea, though I really wish it was longer and you could run. Also, the low-poly graphics looked amazing!

MiniBattle by bhavesh_tiwari 2018-04-24T15:54:00Z

Nice game! I think it was pretty fun with the AI (At first I thought it was real multiplayer :D). It was also my first game jam, you should check out my game too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ragerint

City Surgeon by Bitoddgames 2018-04-24T12:58:57Z

Cool! Very nice music and also I loved those cubic graphics.

Ragerint by Eldemarkki 2018-04-23T17:05:11Z

I built it on Windows 10 64-bit

Ragerint by Eldemarkki 2018-04-23T17:14:19Z

@doomista Yeah, music is quite hard for me and I'm not proud of it either

Ragerint by Eldemarkki 2018-04-24T17:35:11Z

I'll try to fix it, can't promise anything

EDIT: Now it should work, tell me if it doesn't

Beat'em Art by FireHawk 2018-04-23T17:23:28Z

I also liked the pixel art style. I didn't really understand when I got a 'Deadly Wave' that did I die or is the wave just named like that. Also, there could have been some music when playing, not just the menu.

TypeRunner by ShiMapleLeaf 2018-04-24T15:36:24Z

Good job! I really like the look of it

Shape Destroyer: Ascension by Lumos 2018-04-24T13:24:31Z

Cool game! But I really wish there was some visual feedback when you hit an enemy.

Super Ice-Cream Roller Ultra by Probe31 2018-04-24T15:24:54Z

Very beautiful color palette! But like @Andrew Castillo said, the platforms are quite small. But I think the player should not slide that much, it's somewhat difficult to control him/her

Moah the Mower by cukiakimani 2018-04-24T15:40:25Z

Very relaxing sounds and cool color palette.
