The minimalist design has a really nice aesthetic.

I could make up for my bad parcour by playing puzzles! Brilliant!
I enjoyed this game very much. I enjoyed the combination of puzzle and platformer. it fits the theme very well. It was really fun to play and the puzzles were challenging and increased in difficulty. The only problems I found were that since there were only a handful of puzzles I found the game was getting too easy as I was playing the same puzzles over and over again. Also, I think adding a length counter where it recorded how far you had gotten, would be a nice feature because there is no real difference as you get farther into the game and a length counter would be a nice way to measure progress. Overall I loved this game, and it's art style.
This game is awesome!!
The combination of the auto-runner and the puzzles made perfect sense in terms of the progress of the game, the more you advance the harder the puzzle when you loose. The auto-runner is great, minimalistic, with nice animations and the music fit very well.
Great job!
Its like a classical version of geomatry dash. The simplicity is awesome and the way it transitions to endless runner to puzzle is smooth and effective. The audio especially is very good :D. Can't think of any obvious improvement feedback apart from more varied puzzles.
The title of your game makes it all the more taunting. Nice entry!
Cool idea! I ran out of puzzle sections pretty quickly though :) I like the way the level builds itself as you progress, cool effect!
The graphics of this game are gorgeous to look at, and the puzzles upon death are a really nice idea! The only issue I would have is that there aren't enough puzzles for the length of the track, since I found myself repeating puzzles over again (perhaps I am just bad at the jumping, though).
Wow, that was good! Love the music! Visuals are perfect, gameplay is so smooth and responsive, challenging but very fun!
What a shame there are not more puzzles, perhaps randomly generated. I, being bad at runner games, died 15 times in total, so the puzzles got pretty repetitive.
Also, it is quite non-standard being able to push multiple blocks in sokoban games. I was looking at a puzzle for a while, thinking it was impossible, until I randomly found out that I could push more blocks at once.
I don't really like the theme interpretation. In this case, there was not really much of genre fuse or combination, it felt more like two separate games that I was being switched between and there was almost no interaction between them (like "if you solve a puzzle in low number of moves, get higher jumps in the runner" or something like that).
Absolutely fantastic game. The way the stage followed the music was excellent and kept me wanting to play to the finish to hear the track and see how the stage would react.
Very nice gameplay!!
After a few tragic death I found out I need to follow the cue of the beats, and since then the gameplay is super enjoyable!
Thank you all for the great and constructive feedback!
@BoltKey You're right, it would have been nice to have some more interaction between the two games. We had quite a hard time coming up with a feasible concept, and in the end we just stuck with the on idea we thought was easiest to implement. Thank you so much!
amazing game! Also, I am so impressed you guys made this game within the time given!!! WOW, WOW, #WOW!
Love the way the level loads into place, very smooth
It's not a pure mix of genre per se but I liked the 2 gameplays. It's very interresting to be stressed by the platforming part and then be forced to concentrate in more calm stance to solve the puzzle.
That minimalist style is pretty nice ! The game is pretty good (especially given this horrible theme); maybe you should add a game over if all the puzzles are done ? Anyway, nice game !
It looked so cool when the level transformed into the puzzle and vice versa. Also, the minimalistic style fits it perfectly!
Quite simple, but also fun! The puzzle mechanic was pretty interesting. Nice job!
I think it may have been better to give some purpose to the puzzles. Maybe it would knock you back a checkpoint if you failed to solve the puzzle quick enough. For me, it just felt unnecessary.
That being said, I actually really enjoyed both the auto-runner and the puzzles. I thought they were well made and the controls felt smooth. Well done!
I love puzzles, and I hate runners. So, I don't know if I like your game or not… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: But I'm sure of one thing : this is a nice idea, and a very good game, good work!
Doesn't work really well on chrome on linux (countdown text gets cut sometimes), probably it has some problem with webgl. Firefox however is working perfectly.
Other than that, i would have done some preloading of the resources you're using. I had substantial stuttering initially (every time a new type of object spawned). After that, it was a smooth sail
The theme interpretation is questionable, but i liked the game ! At least it's finished, unlike mine :v:
@VinegarLove Thanks for the feedback! Huh, that's weird... The only resources that are loaded is the audio, and that's completely preloaded. There aren't any graphics resources, those are just shapes drawn at runtume, but I wouldn't think that causes stuttering.
Can you tell me about your browser and computer specs? That would be helpful :) (I developed and tested on Chrome and Linux, and everything worked fine)
Thanks!
@phi Archlinux, Nvidia 1070, Intel E3-1275 v5, x11 DE, Chrome 66. The performance issue is probably due to Firefox or Nvidia binary blobs(396.24)
