Oct 4 17:54:27 Okay & Alright ♥ 1 The fish looks fantastic! The animation almost appears 3D at times; Super great work! You've always done an excellent job making games with heavy emotions.
Oct 4 18:01:34 7m 07s Waitin' Satan ♥ 1 This was fantastic! It took a while to master the balancing act, but after looping around back to level 1 I was able to complete at least one level without dropping any food. The track layering from goofy light hearted fun to heavy metal was hilarious too! Great work!
Oct 4 18:10:34 9m 00s Ecotopia ♥ 1 Ha! I love the sound effects. The "rawr" of the tigers is hilarious and adorable. I didn't use it, but I like how the game features a mute button for the music. The artwork all around is charming, I love the crayon white outlines. It makes it look like it was cut out of paper or something, and given the cardboard look to the HUD, I'd assume that's what you were going for. I had a bit of framerate issues in the HTML5 build, but the game doesn't really require high-reflexes where every frame counts, so it's hardly an issue. Great game!
Oct 4 18:19:16 8m 42s Into the Cone Zone ♥ 2 My jaw completely dropped with awe when I walked into traffic and saw what the game was all about. At first I was thinking "oh, I'm a cone- it's like prop hunt! ***KABOOM BANG POW***" and it was great. Top marks for humor and fun. This was *a blast*.
Oct 4 18:28:49 9m 33s CarGO! ♥ 0 Oh man, that was fun. I definitely think balancing the objects needs to be a bit more important. In most of my runs I didn't bother trying to keep the objects, and just screwed around driving off the bridge for fun or crashing into as many cars as possible. I love the rolling hills in level 1, the levels were all very well made, but the aesthetic of level 1 made me want to just drive a racecar over those hills and crash into trees. ha! Very great work on the game!
Oct 4 18:38:45 9m 56s Birds ♥ 1 The artwork is fantastic! The moving clouds in the background are the kind of details of love in Ludum Dare games! I also love how it subtly zooms out once your tower of birds gets high enough! I would suggest adding some sort of score, such as the number of birds that has landed, and perhaps displaying your highest record in the title screen. I counted about 50 before I decided I had seen all the game has to offer. I also love how it has controller support, I tried separate runs with both the controller or the keyboard, and I have to say the keyboard makes it way easier! The music is really charming! Marvelous work on the sound design! All around this game was a good time.
Oct 4 18:45:16 6m 31s The Unstable Ball ♥ 2 It's got a very simple arcade feel to it! Just a heads up, and since I'm leaving this comment before the jam deadline hits, you probably still have time to fix this; The score doesn't reset to zero after starting a new run. Great work!
Oct 4 19:01:16 16m 00s The Volunteer ♥ 4 I like the story! The setting is lifeless and spooky, the scene is very well set! The ambient background noise and the grey aesthetic of the world was super well done! The ending is cool too, with the sacrificial nature of it all. What's the deal with the "2nd place winner at UT Game Jam 2021" header on the itch page? Is that another jam you submitted this too? It's pretty crazy for those results to be back on the day the game was finished.
Oct 4 19:11:10 9m 54s Everything's Fine ♥ 1 I love the voice acting! It made the characters a lot more fun to move around, with the "Easy job" and "*ahhhhhhhh*"! I noticed if I misclicked around the reactor door, one of the guys walked through the wall of the lounge and hung around inside the reactor, which I though was amusing. In the end, everything was fine when the shift ended! Great game.
Oct 4 19:19:13 8m 03s Unstable Magic ♥ 2 I always love PICO-8 games! This one is definitely tough to master, the best I could do is 108 points. I really enjoyed the artwork! All the enemies were super adorable. I'm sure you could use the hourglass in the corner to estimate the angle of your next attack, and use that to properly aim, but all I could do is just goof around hoping a shot actually hits something, which was less frequent that you'd think. Great work all around!
Oct 4 19:31:35 12m 22s Twin Tails Jetpack ♥ 3 The artwork is absolutely incredible. I love the character design!! The game over screen is hilarious and super well drawn too! I noticed I was still able to fly around even when fuel dropped to zero, but that's the only criticism I have. The game was a lot of fun! Plus, the hair being a jetpack is is great.
Oct 4 19:51:27 19m 52s Law and Disorder ♥ 3 AH what? I can't believe pardoning president HundredCoins wasn't the move to make! I love the grumbling from the TV. Both the artwork and audio are excellent! The final cutscene that plays on election day is at like, 2% opacity, and It was incredibly hard to read. I don't know if it's just on my end, but I wasn't entirely able to read the text from the final cutscene. All in all, it's a great work of political satire, nice job!
Oct 4 20:15:26 23m 59s Pinfall ♥ 3 I love the pacman and mario references! The music is an absolute bop, and I love the use of (what I assume is) the NES Audio Chip's noise channel. This took me way to long, but I stuck with it! LD_WOO.PNG This was a ton of fun! Great work!
Oct 4 20:28:42 13m 16s Koluan's DINER ♥ 2 I think the tables should be arranged as 1-2-3-MainStall-4-5-6 for the sake of the player. I love the artwork, and the colors for background are seriously top notch. Excellent work all around! (and the spongebob music is pretty funny)
Oct 4 21:02:27 33m 45s Fight Or Flight ♥ 1 Punishing the player by sending them all the way back to the bottom of the game is way to harsh. From a game design standpoint, you're sacrificing the player's enjoyment of the game for what, extended playtime? And if the player rage-quits, then was it worth it? I understand how that's the take on the theme, but I found it more tedious than a satisfying challenge. The promo artwork is stellar, (I wish the artwork in game lived up to it!) and the music is really charming! I like how the different sections of the game have different music too! Some of the gems seemed poorly placed, such that by going to collect them, you're almost guaranteed to slip on ice, either above or below you, forcing you to reset. I understand that you're going for a high risk for the reward type deal, but the reward isn't worth the potential, if not guaranteed, losses. I would feel a lot better about the game as a whole if the overground section had a "checkpoint" of sorts, so slipping only takes you to the bottom of the section instead of the entire game. I feel like the background could have a little more details. I saw a few crumbly bricks in the cave section, but they were under utilized. Details make the world go round! The boss fight is pretty tough, and honestly, that's what caused me to give up. I made it up to the boss about 7 times without defeating it (either out of myself just playing poorly, or a poorly timed attack that I couldn't avoid) and every time slipping down to the bottom of the game just felt awful. Again, one of the most important parts of game design is understanding how the player will feel in every situation, and if that's the experience you're going for, where the player is actively getting frustrated and losing interest in trying again, you're doing something wrong. Overall, it's a good game. There are parts I disagree with game-design-wise, but it's still a good game. The "jump higher when not holding left or right" is a clever mechanic I haven't seen elsewhere, and I like how you designed multiple sections around it. It's a really solid core mechanic. I think the focus should've been more centered on other situations for the higher jumping mechanic, and less on slipping to the bottom of the map. Great work!
Oct 4 21:24:10 21m 43s Cards In Your Hand ♥ 3 Oh man, every object in the forest was a joy to encounter! The Rabbit body builder, the german tourist that I bought a car from, the leprechaun that my dog ate, all of it! Every ounce of this game was a fantastic and fun story to be a part of. The dialogues were hilarious, the artwork was outstanding (especially that rabbit body builder, hot dang!) and the music set a great ambiance! I love how some of the options were a real twist, like reaching my hand out to willow the wisp being safe, or fighting the weak knight with a rock successfully taking him down. (which added stability, ha!) Plus that car purchasing from the German guy was a hilarious bit. Oh no, my countries trade debt! rats. All around this was fantastic! Outstanding work.
Oct 5 17:39:49 20h 15m Fission Friends ♥ 3 The artwork is super adorable! I love how quickly the game goes from calm to entirely out of hand, it's a very great use of the theme! I was only able to get around 200 points on my best run, but I had a lot of fun with this. I think the music was a good fit too, though it could benefit from having a melody. I love the tiny details, like the eyes on the shapes blinking! It's super cute, and the game was really well made. great work.
Oct 5 17:54:36 14m 47s Unstabadome ♥ 4 I played to version 1.0 release, for reference. The voice acting is fantastic, and sets a fun mood! I think the controls were a little rough, especially when on the walls or ceiling. Most of the gameplay was spent unable to move while crammed in a corner of the ceiling and walls. I really like the concept, but if instead of shifting gravity, the entire map rotated (to simulate shifting gravity) it would've worked much better to allow the player better control over their movement while on the walls. The enemies were super creepy looking! Great job all around on the art direction- you all did a fantastic job. Obviously you're aware of some of the issues in the 1.0 release (as they were patched in a newer release) like the textbox issue. My high score was 3,045. I don't know if that's impressive or not, but I gave it a couple of tries. Overall, I really like this game. The synthwave neon aesthetic with the goofy voice over is a lot of fun, I just wish I didn't get stuck unable to move so often. Nice game!
Oct 5 18:03:28 8m 52s Sacrament of Alchemists ♥ 2 Wow that music slaps hard! What a bop. The gameplay is a lot of fun too, it's a bit floaty, but it's not too hard to get used too. I like all the 3d modeled you created! I think there should be a "you win" screen. I think maybe the chameleon was giving a thumbs up to indicate that I won the game, but a menu would be preferred. All around, great work!
Oct 5 18:19:15 15m 47s RoughTrain ♥ 4 This is definitely the most graphically impressive game I've seen this jam. I love the atmosphere you created, and the details like dust particles absolutely set the scene. As mentioned, the overlapping instruction text is a shame, but I was able to try and follow along for a while, but then I couldn't figure out what to do. I'd love to see how this game was meant to be played! The radio should definitely not be allowed to overlap itself. I typically press interact buttons multiple times, just to make sure, and the radio overlapping was impossible to understand. That said, I got a real good laugh out of mashing "interact" is fast as possible and getting blasted by all the noise. Great work on the voice acting too! All around it's a cool game, it just has a few minor bugs to fix.
Oct 5 18:40:39 21m 24s Cleaner of the Crumbling Keep ♥ 2 Oh man, I absolutely love the Wario Ware type minigames!! I softlocked the game on what I imagine was the final few rooms, I ran into a stir the pot minigame, and I must've accidentally touched the minigame a second time before it despawned post-completion, because I was prompted to stir again but the minigame didn't appear and I could no longer move. In any case, the music is an absolute bop, and the minigames were a whole lot of fun! The stomp animation was especially nice, with the stretch / squish. Oh man, well done! The level design was really great too, I liked how some of the dungeons were shaped like a skull or a maze. After buying all the items, I felt less incentivized to go for gold. Perhaps it shows your high score or something at the end of the game, but I never made it there, what with the softlock and all. Overall, this was a fantastic entry! Seriously great work from all of you.
Oct 5 19:54:57 1h 14m Handling Time ♥ 0 I really like the design of the character, and the description makes the game sound really cool! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do much while playing. The world looks fantastic! I love all the copper scaffolding, and the background is just excellent looking! I wish there were enemies or something inside this world you have built, I just couldn't find anything in all my tried. The character jumps so low that I can't really do any of the platforming, and the dash just made the character freeze in place for a while before falling down. in any case, it looks really cool, and the title screen is really well drawn! And congrats for submitting a game.
Oct 5 20:10:39 15m 42s Volatile Witchcraft ♥ 1 I love the character designs, haa! I was able to make some pretty cool trickshots with the pills. My strategy was to get the character high enough to throw a pill and hit the wizard while falling back down to bring the wizard into the trajectory of the pill. It let me skip a pretty good potion of each level. I love the music too! This game was just entirely too adorable. Great work all around!
Oct 5 20:17:11 6m 32s Meltdown Monday ♥ 2 Okay, so I pushed the "Do not push" button, and while the world was falling apart my boss came in the room to tell me I'm not doing my job well enough or something, and I'm like, "Dude the building is shaking, now's not the time!" and he's like "do better" and I left to grab some coffee but I think the building blew up. So anyway, this game is great.
Oct 5 20:44:05 26m 54s Timmy's Very Bad School Day ♥ 4 Yeah, this is the best game I've played in a ludum dare in a long time. Good lord the one liners- you guys are brilliant. The meta jokes are non-stop and the final final fight of the game takes it to a new level. The music is such a god dang bop! Seriously, I don't hand out five star ratings often because I know I'm eventually going to find a game that freaking deserves it. You got it, chief. Every god dang category is a perfect score. The character designs are gorgeous, (you know, before it turns into staplers and missing textures, which might I add are also incredibly well drawn). The quips, oh my lord the quips! How did you make every line of dialogue great? God dang **Gteve**! I'm crying. Oh my god you have seriously raised the bar so high. Thank you for making this game, and godspeed. Saying you did a great job all around is an understatement.
Oct 5 21:35:17 51m 12s Bitrot ♥ 5 The only feedback I think I can provide is to warn developers about "Blind Jumps" At the very start of the game, the player is greeted with this: LD_BlindJump3.PNG The player has no clue what's below them, and has to take a leap of faith. That's generally regarded as bad design. Keep that in mind in the future. Other than that, I really like the game! Nice work.
Oct 5 21:48:21 13m 04s Unstable Steven ♥ 1 Nice work! I loved the art for all the creatures, and the music was alright. I wish the music was a bit longer, I usually aim for a 3 minute long loop. This was a lot of fun! Cool game.
Oct 5 22:17:13 28m 52s Potion Commotion ♥ 2 I'm a big fan of the non-traditional jump methods in your games. Man, this game gets incredibly tough, but I stuck with it! LD_GG.PNG I love the NES style graphics! I know this is a problem with the engine and not your game, but the window is so tiny, it's a bit rough to play. I wish it could go full screen! That in combination with all the particles makes it hard to track the player in some rooms. All in all, it's an amazing game, and definitely one of the best in the jam. Nice work!
Oct 5 22:35:41 18m 28s Tall Order ♥ 3 Ah man, I wish there was a final "you win" screen with a picture of myself vacationing in Hawaii. Great work all around! I like the music.
Oct 5 22:50:43 15m 02s Ember's Climb ♥ 1 Neat game! It could definitely have a bit more content though. LD_gg2.PNG I liked the graphics, and the insane jump height is pretty neat. Nice work.
Oct 5 22:56:07 5m 24s Decommissioned ♥ 3 Really interesting story, and I like the character portraits! The game is a bit short, but I like what I played. Cool game!
Oct 5 23:09:31 13m 24s Glenn The Alienn ♥ 2 Ooh, I've never seen a 3d collectathon in a ludum dare before! I was only able to find 5 of the crystals though. Really nice work on the game! I love the design of glenn!
Oct 5 23:16:22 6m 51s MIFFED ♥ 2 HAAAAAA! I absolutely adore the cutscenes! It looks like you all had a great time making this game, and it's a lot of fun too! Great work.
Oct 5 23:25:46 9m 24s U.R.A.N.I.U.M. ♥ 1 I really like how the game picked up when you added the nuclear waste! I kept mixing up the use item and drop item buttons! I like the art, and the music was cool too! Great game.
Oct 6 05:57:17 6h 31m Contact Nesigur ♥ 1 OH wow, I haven't seen many translucent video games before. (at least, the window was translucent on my end, and it looked pretty cool) I love the idea of modifying files to change the game, it reminded me of [one of my all time favorite Ludum Dare games](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/documentia). It's a really cool concept that I love to see, taking the game outside of the game. Great work!
Oct 6 16:20:48 10h 23m Untable Flow of Time ♥ 1 I love the look of the character! They're very adorable. The rewind mechanic is pretty cool too! It's far from a perfect speedrun, but here's my time: LD_GG_3.PNG
Oct 6 16:27:50 7m 02s Abyss' Stare ♥ 1 I think it's way too punishing to send the player all the way to the first level every time they make a mistake. All it does is eventually frustrate the player. If you want them to learn by dying, the consequences for dying have to be minimal. Other than that, the art is nice, and I love the spooky aesthetic.
Oct 6 16:31:49 3m 59s Wake me up when August ends ♥ 1 There should be a reset button so you don't need to refresh the page to play again! I love the rolling hills in the background with all the trees. The art in this game is nicely done! Great work.
Oct 6 16:42:35 10m 46s Bling! ♥ 1 Woah, those smoke particles are rad! It might be buggy and unfinished, but I still enjoyed playing it. I even had a good laugh when my dead body was still fighting the enemies! I'm glad you were still able to submit something; This was a rough theme. I'm glad to hear you're planning on making a post jam version. Keep it up, and great job!
Oct 6 16:58:15 15m 40s Mountain of Might ♥ 1 Ha, I love that Bing Bong Wahoo in the console. This game almost reminds me of those fights in Super Mario world with the Koopaling on the sloped platform. All around, this is a pretty cool game. I did however run into a softlock, I don't know exactly what happened or how I could replicate it, but the platform disappeared, and my character was also missing. LD_soft.PNG In any case, this was a lot of fun, and I love the story in the opening. ha! Nice work.
Oct 6 17:29:05 30m 50s Baserackcanball ♥ 1 Yo, this was a lot of fun! I'm a huge fan of those swaying leaves around the edges of the screen! My best score was about 1275, which I got by mashing both F and G at the same time so I never failed a swing, ha! I love the details, like the friends just hanging out in the bottom right. Very cool game!
Oct 6 17:48:03 18m 58s Teeter Hero ♥ 2 Oh heck yeah, this was great, It took a few tries to get through wave 1, but once I had it all figured out, it was smooth sailing. The artwork is incredible, and I love the character/ enemy designs. Plus the flailing civilians on the bus gave me a good chuckle. I think the boss fight has a bit too much health, and the fight seemed to drag on longer than necessary. It's tough to balance both the bus and fighting the boss, though not impossible, but it's a super slow fight that seems to go on and on, making the fear of needing to reset the wave dramatically increase the stress in pulling it off. Either that, or give the boss a healthbar, because when you have no idea how much longer this fight will last, it gets a bit demotivating. All around, I'm a big fan of this game. Great job! LD_GG42.PNG
Oct 6 19:24:13 1h 36m GROUDOU! ♥ 1 I like the design of Groudou. The minigames are cool, though they're incredibly easy and it doesn't seem to ramp up in difficulty (or it's very slow at it). I love the voice acting, ha! Very fun. Nice work.
Oct 6 19:29:53 5m 40s Unstable: Save a Herd of Horses ♥ 4 That's the most intense title screen music I've ever heard, ha! I wish there was some sort of score to keep track of. The artwork looks really good, and the sound effects / music sound great as well! Nice work.
Oct 6 19:35:19 5m 26s Clowning Around ♥ 1 Some of the projectiles were exceptionally hard to dodge, but I still had a lot of fun! The best I could do is 15 points. I love the sound effects, and the cheering / booing. Nice game!
Oct 6 19:41:33 6m 14s Portals From Fire ♥ 2 This was a lot of fun! I wish I knew the goal was to survive as long as possible while playing. I was looking for some sort of indication of score, and I'm glad the game does have some sort of point system, but I think the timer should be on display while playing the game so you can see how close you are to beating your personal best. (Also just a heads up, you spelled "lose" incorrectly on the failure screen) Nice game!
Oct 6 19:53:46 12m 13s Wobbly Penguins ♥ 7 Oh man, this is super adorable! I love the cheerful sound effect and the music is so happy. and oh my god what. What in the world. I have experienced video game whiplash, and I thank you so much for the experience. That was such an amazing "what the f-" moment, that I was genuinely in awe at what just happened. So then it goes back to goofy bumpy penguins right? And I'm just bumping along now fearing what I've witnessed. That's some brand new emotions right there. Anyway, super adorable, I love the goofy little dudes, very cute. This game just makes me h̵̘͝a̸͕̰͆p̶̙̓̕p̴̳̺̈́̋y̵̨͋̈́.
Oct 6 20:01:54 8m 08s Alchemy Academy ♥ 2 Oh man this is great. The high five especially. Things are getting faster, I have to rush every step. "More salt! Quickly" "Hurry up with the newt!!" ... "hiiigh fiiive" ... "Turn down the heat, now!" Hilarious. The graphics are fantastic, especially the alchemist. And my god, I'm a big fan of the voice acting. Great work all around!
Oct 6 20:07:08 5m 14s Shaky Ground ♥ 1 I also wasn't aware of the time stopping until beating the game. I feel like there should be a situation where it's required, or at least make it clearer to the player that it's an option. Neat game.
Oct 6 20:46:18 39m 10s Buggy the Bunny ♥ 2 Heck yeah, I am win! The jump button is a bit unresponsive on slopes, but overall I really enjoyed this. The glitchy visuals are really well made, and I like the 'creepy pasta' looking effect that would occasionally happen. I don't know what caused this... (and I assume it was this game? I tried replicating it with no luck) but a youtube link opened up for a video called "please stop". In the event that it was caused by this game, I'm not a big fan of the game I'm playing opening links... In any case, the game was a lot of fun and I enjoyed tweaking the game's values to whatever I wanted! Cool game.
Oct 6 20:55:26 9m 08s Dizzard Wizzard ♥ 1 I love the voice acting, and the 3d models are really nice! I also love how you can use spells before you "learn them" if you restart. I had a lot of fun with this, great job all around!
Oct 7 22:04:15 25h 08m Llamas on Log ♥ 2 I survived about 2 minutes before I was too curious and had to see what happened if they fell off. Is there a difference between the different fruits? Like, does the pear do something the apple doesn't? From what I could tell, they were all the same, had the same mass, etc. I think the game needs to get harder over time, like what if every time a llama eats, they become heavier, making the raft even more unstable. Overall, this was a fun game! Nice work.
Oct 7 22:14:42 10m 27s Potions for Dummies ♥ 2 Oh snap, that opening cinematic was amazing! I love the story, and the way it ties in with the gameplay is superb. A new master is born, baby~ I cured myself of mushrooms and lizard skin among other things. Man, the characters are adorable! I can't think of anything that could improve this. It's very well made. Nice work.
Oct 7 22:26:47 12m 05s RoTable ♥ 1 I love the nontraditional movement! It reminds me a lot of QWOP, or several other games made by Bennet Foddy. I did unfortunately get stuck, and I don't know if there's a way to reset a room: LD_Sfotlock.PNG In any case, it's a really original idea, and I love it! Great work.
Oct 7 22:47:53 21m 06s Egg Racer ♥ 4 Man, the egg really needs to transfer with the pan when you flip from left to right. There's nothing wrong with a challenging game, but at some point the difficulty weighs down the fun. I got stuck on level 2, and I have no idea how much more there was, but I just couldn't clear it. I like the artwork, and the quotes when you die are fun.
Oct 7 22:57:52 9m 59s Natura Disastia ♥ 1 Woah, that's a super creative combat system! I love the character design too! Each turn seems to take a long time, I feel like giving the player fewer objects per turn could remedy this. It's a lot to take in for a new player, but once you get the hang of it, the game starts to get going. Cool entry!
Oct 7 23:05:32 7m 40s Cliff swinger ♥ 2 I like the gameplay, but man, the audio needs some improvement. I think instead of a noise wave for shooting the grapple, perhaps a little zip with some reverb. You are next to a cliff after all, some reverb would make it sound much nicer. The music should definitely be longer, and try to avoid the dissonances. The first notes of the song's melody and harmony clash, and don't sound well together. You usually want to avoid that. My best score was 71. nice work!
Oct 9 19:40:54 44h 35m Ruff Tuff Skies ♥ 1 Wow this is a good time! I love the graphics, and the gameplay is super original! Great work.
Oct 9 19:50:16 9m 22s Formula Dare ♥ 2 Okay, wow, there is too much to take in. You should definitely keep visual clutter in mind when designing UI. I don't want this to sound rude, or harsh, but this is by a large margin the most cluttered UI I have ever seen. I counted 114 buttons (or button shaped things) and 4 dice on the first actual screen in game. Lots of buttons are different colors, or different shapes. That is way way way too much for someone who has no clue what to do, or how the game is played. overwhelming is an understatement. As I mentioned, I'm not even sure if all 114 button shaped objects are actually buttons, and if some of those aren't you definitely need to make them look different. You should definitely take a look at how other shops are designed in video games. Perhaps grey out the options you can't afford, or hide them entirely until you've 'unlocked' them. Overall, the game was just a bit too much for me to understand. I'm sure the idea is really cool, I just couldn't figure it out.
Oct 9 20:00:22 10m 06s WildGuess ♥ 1 Wow, I love the character designs! The art is super charming! I love the typo on the diploma, ha! The story was nice, and I helped everyone one first try! The little mumble noises the characters make are real fun too! It's a bit short, and I wish there were a few more families to help out. Cool game, and nicely done!
Oct 9 20:08:05 7m 43s Please don't explode ! ♥ 2 Ha, I had a great time punching everyone! It was super fun when there were large groups of people that were in the same place, so punching them made them all scatter, ha ha haa! Nice game.
Oct 9 20:10:59 2m 54s Drunken Master ♥ 3 A very nice and short game! I like the visual distorted swirl on the screen, and the mood you set it pretty funny. Cool! (I love how the play button on the title moves around, haaaa!)
Oct 9 20:17:56 6m 57s Derpy the Unicorn ♥ 2 I now understand that I was supposed to drag object around, but I just launched myself off of the surrounding mountain like a ramp and landed on the cloud, ha!!! I love the voice acting, great work, and the 3D models are always an impressive touch to a jam game!
Oct 9 20:25:12 7m 16s 绝地天通(Babel Blocks) ♥ 2 I love the artwork, and the news reel at the bottom made the game really charming. I think making the block take up a bit more of the screen could help, the space to place them was huge but the blocks were so small. The disasters were a cool idea! And I love how some of the disasters had visuals, like the rain! Cool game. Great work!
Oct 9 20:44:02 18m 50s The Lonely Ghost ♥ 2 I love the graphics! There's a lot of variety with the backgrounds, and I really appreciate the effort spent making them all so different. I feel like the moving platforms should carry the ghost with it's movement. having to walk along the platform as if it's slipping under my feet just feels awkward. I also love the characters, like the ninja or the businessman. There's a lot of fun to be had with the art in this game! The music is really cool too! Great work.
Oct 9 20:55:41 11m 39s Reaction Transaction ♥ 2 Oh man, I love the characters. I don't know what making the potion unstable did, the customers paid for it all the same. I made one poor cyclops spend $10,000 on a potion with a little over a thousand shrews. ha! LD_ripped.PNG I don't know if there's a win condition, I just kinda kept making potions until I got bored. I love the concept! Cool game.
Oct 16 21:15:39 168h 19m Losing the Signal ♥ 2 I think it's a bit too difficult at times. There are several sections where you just barely make it to the energy pad, and other times where I ran in a direction, only for the door to be closed without enough time to return to the nearest energy pad. This wouldn't be a big deal if dying brought you to the most recent energy pad, but having to reset the entire level feels a bit punishing. Why would I want to do everything I just did for a second or even a third time? I already did that! Just let the player respawn at the most recent energy pad. Other than that, I really like the design- I just think death resetting the entire level is too punishing. Cool game!
Oct 16 21:33:12 17m 33s Temple Sprint ♥ 2 I tried my hand at speedrunning the game. Through the use of the grapple and going out of bounds, I was able to score a nice sub minute run! LD_GG_5.PNG That said, before I discovered the grapple (and going out of bounds) i was unable to pass the toppling pillars, and was just left annoyed and confused. Neat game though! Nice work all around!
