This actually is the best game I played so far, I loved how cute the graphics are, the gameplay flows so well, is super fun to play and fits great with the theme, I also played with the concept of platforms falling and I really liked the idea. I just wonder if there is an end ? I went to 400m
@npr0nn As much as we wanted to have an ending, sadly we didn't have any time to implement it! So it pretty much ended up being an endless kind of thing.
This is the best game I've seen so far, including mine. :D
Really nice game the movement is super smooth. Followed the theme well and the gameplay and graphics were really pleasant. Only note is that the mobs can spawn inside you? I kept getting insta bonked lol

The gameplay was nervous and I like the upgrade part, it makes the game less repetitive. The art is cute, I love pixel art. It's a shame that there isn't any indication when an enemy spawns. So some times they spawn on us.
@jeff-kerman @raph-gi I totally get you guys as I also have that problem too! We did not have enough time to actually make a proper enemy spawn system. Sadly it's a jam and I don't think it counts for us in the rules to add that in!
That's a really good game! The graphics and the main mechanic (repairing blocks with hammer) are superb! I just think it's a very solid and unique idea. On my few first playthroughs, when I didn't know I had to use hammer yet, I got stuck a few times falling down infinitely without losing - it's definately a bug. The controls also felt a little floaty - some minor tweaks on the numbers could help a bit, but to be fair, that's just nitpicking.
i like this concept a lot! the graphics are very cute, and i like the idea of balancing attacking enemies against repairing the ship.
i think the game said i could press "Y" to repair the ship, but it didn't work for me. i'm not sure if it's actually supposed to work or not, but i really would have appreciated button-only controls, instead of having to use the mouse.
my main feedback is that it would be cool if repairing the ship was a bit more interesting than just spamming right click everywhere. like, maybe it consumes some kind of resource, or has a cool down, or something. i found myself completely giving up on the platforms above, and just walking back and forth trying to hammer as fast as possible, and occasionally slashing enemies.
overall, i think this is really well done though!

the best word to describe this game is simply "fun". its an all around enjoyable experience (though my fingers may beg to differ...). went to 1500m
@lisek-gagatek: That bug of falling infinitely without losing is actually quite new to us! I'm pretty sure we even had a thick wall to cover that.. A very rare bug indeed! We'll try to fix that whenever we have the time. The controls was to consider for aerial combat! Time constraints happened though.
@sakura-magika: The [Y] button is actually controls for the controller. We're considering adding button controls in a later patch! It was originally mouse + WASD because of a bunch of specific item and we didn't really implementing those.
We originally planned to actually have the scrap/bolts you gained to be used on repairing the ship... but that actually made the game a LOT harder. We actually figured out that people are not going to use the upper areas, so we actually placed flying enemy spawns there so you're actually missing out on a lot of bolts! (and we actually had 1 hour to place the stage together..)
@flomino Glad you really enjoyed it! I'm really sorry about your fingers. We really didn't test in long sessions and we just found out about it recently. We're working on alternate controls if we have the time and patch it out!

Очень проработанная игра. Годится к выпуску сразу на Steam. Осталось только добавить боссов.

Great game! The movement feels nice, and I enjoyed having to frantically run around, slicing at enemies, to keep the ship afloat. However, on that note, it didn't really feel like there was much incentive to keep the ship intact - just a small area of the ship was enough to persist. Aside from that, though, definitely enjoyed the game, and it's really impressive just how much graphics and content you all were able to add in such a short time frame!

Wow this is great. You made an awesome job. It feels and looks very good. My only complaint is that the shop doesn't pause enemies and disappears before I can decide what to and if I buy. But if this is a design choice it is OK, it doesn't affect my grade. Good job guys!

Nice music! The art style looks good too. And controls feels fine. My only complaint will be the speed with which blocks disintegrate. Because of this speed, it requires a lot of clicking to keep fixing the blocks. And constant clicking get tiresome after a while (or did I miss some in-game mechanic that helps with this issue?). Beside that great and fun to play game.
Agh, me poor clickin' finger... D:
Super cute, loved the look and the take on the theme. Appreciated all the different enemy types, too. Just a slightly different control scheme and spawn behavior would polish this up nicely. Great work, you two!
Nice entry, although I'd like to get my hands on the jam version. I like the concept overall. I feel the stop should stay until you buy something. I didn't have enough time to consider all my options.
okay this one. this one is the winner.
The art, the gameplay, the theme, everything just works so well. Please keep going with this game I beg.
Great game, I loved the graphics! The music feels like a rpg boss battle and added a nice touch to the game, good work! :)
@xpoho: [DeepL] Спасибо! Хотя мы бы хотели немного изменить его, прежде чем выпустить что-то подобное на Steam.
@pynl: Sadly yeah, the stage isn't friendly to that, however though there is a caveat on keeping the stage small and that is you're missing out on the currency since the currency can fall and the upper areas having flying units you really can't take advantage of. Either way, thank you! I guess that's the charm of having one dedicated to art and presentation at first, while the other works on the details.
@sli + @coderaurus: The shop was set up well with the system early on, however we ran out of time and have to hurry and implement it because the code of it appearing was missing. Thus, we didn't really have the time to actually halt the progression of the stage timer. We definitely wanted it to pause/slow down and give you some breathing room from the frantic atmosphere, but not make you spend too much time on it. (Since, the ship continues to degrade...)
@coderaurus: The one you're playing IS the jam version. (unless you want to go with that on release deadline version) We're just making small tweaks and fixes to make it friendlier to those who play and based on the feedback of others, still playing by the rules. Post-jam would actually make it a very different feeling game because we'd be able to actually add what we intended, but we ran out of time.
@zimny11: I agree with the ship degrading too fast. However, we do intend for you to panic at first on rebuilding the ship and not letting your guard down at the same time. However, we did place upgrades that make that easier for you and with our current code set, adding 1 more point to building will actually make it too easy. If we're making a post-jam version, we're definitely taking this into account.
Also we didn't have enough time to implement *hold* spam attacking/building to compensate. Sadly that is a new function and we can't add that!
@caeonosphere: Thank you for the feedback! We did change the controls around a bit to accommodate alternative controls such as arrow+ZXC and WASD+Numpad123. I am one for accessibility so I would love to do that for future players! Sadly on testing, even on other control schemes our fingers will still hurt...
@luhuchiha: Thank you! Sadly it is the reason we opted out of audio as the music comes from another source. (If you're interested, it's from [YouFulca](https://wingless-seraph.net)!)
