this is really clever!

this is really clever!
I couldn't get this to run (Windows 7), but it looks cool.
I really like this! definitely one of the more clever takes on Snake that I've played.
that was fun! this could have been really boring, but you added subtle things to keep the player moving at all times. nice job!
still awesome!
Holy whoa this is awesome. this is definitely the best Ludum Dare game I've played so far. I love you.
Movement was a little on the slow and tedious side at times, but it was pretty fun overall.
couldn't get it to run on my Windows 7
nice job. having to constantly switch between powers was pretty fun, though I felt like some of them were a little off balance.
this is really good! though I think I ran into a bug; I got the head, but the next day he had a heart instead and I was never able to get the head.
really good work! the gameplay is tight, and the way you introduced the core mechanic is absolutely perfect. the puzzle designs are excellent as well. I can tell this isn't your first puzzle platform game (at least I hope it isn't ;~;)
good work, Shackhal! the graphics were good, though I felt like they could have been more interesting in general. the gameplay itself felt nice and difficult, as a shmup should be.
but everything
is so
tiny o_o
I know that's the theme, but having to squint to dodge bullets in a bullet hell game is... agh.
holy cow. the art, idea, and music in this is mind-blowing. I feel like I should have payed money for this.
really neat. I usually dislike the 2D-on-3D look, but you made it work with that color palette. the platforming got a little annoying at times... I'd love to see more of this.
this ran really slow on my computer, but it was super-pretty and the control scheme was interesting
holy shit. I couldn't have made this in 3 weeks. how even.
excellent graphics and animations! I will also be returning to beat this.
this is so neat. great job! I'd love to see this expanding with civilizations and such
really polished and well made! I would totally buy this as an expanded iPhone game.
every part of me wants to play a finished version of this. make that happen, plz. <3
awesome idea. the physics got a little out of control, but it was manageable.
oh my god this is brilliant. lots of belly-related chortles and more charm than any one game has any right to posses.
this is brilliant. I appreciated how forgiving it was, and I love the ending :0
these graphics are fantastic! the movement was a little weird, but it made sense.
I could tell that you wanted the game to have replay value by having different endings; if you want people to replay the game, add a replay button instead of making the game close itself :0
"death threat"
cool art -- this is very 'ludum dare-y'. that intro killed my ears.
loved the art style and colors! you should finish this :0
really neat and polished. I almost kind of wish you had gone with a vector-y look for this :0
loved the graphics, this was really fun!
super fun! I liked all of the different weapons and how they changed the gameplay. and holy crumb these graphics.
I'm impressed with how much content you crammed in here! (at least it feels like a lot :0)
played it all the way through. this is really great! super relaxing and a nice game to just spend time in. great job.
I should reply to some of these.
first of all: thanks everyone! for playing the game and liking it and stuff. I was surprised that the graphics were so well received (#12!)
@SonnyBone
that's really weird. it could be because of the blood effect, which was really sloppily made. I'll probably add an option to turn that off in the future, if you'd be willing to keep an eye on the devlog: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=25753.0
@marudziik
I didn't see that source code was required this time around. unfortunately, the original gmk has been saved over with the edits that I made afterward, but feel free to decompile it or whatever. I have nothing to hide.
@chambers & @Maple
I seem to have a problem leaving the score off the screen when I make score-based games o:
I'll definitely add that, though I'm not sure if this will stay score-based in the future.
glad to hear that the rocket ship stuff was satisfying -- I was hoping it would be.
@cltatman
the difficulty curve is pretty fucked at the moment. I'm currently working on adding music and variation in the newer versions of the game.
@R3ason
there actually is a health bar :0
they're on the lower halves of each building. maybe I should make them stick out more.
@Jiggawatt
yeah, making the enemies not just spawn randomly was something that I ran out of time for. in the current version they fall in from the top of the screen.
I'll definitely be taking into account everyone's feedback for later versions of the game, so thanks for trying it.
this seems like it could have been something neat, shame you only had 10 hours :\
interesting take on the 2D Mario Galaxy idea! I liked the level designs and collecting stuff was fun. though the collisions got a little squirly at times.
surprisingly addictive :0
I liked the graphics; they were simple, but the colors were quite nice. I do kind of wish it were just a little more complex.
I think it would be cool if the blip sounds from picking up files went along with the music.
