LD53 — Delivery

Deliveries & Dragons by PhilStrahl 2023-05-03T21:38:33Z

Very cute game. At first very relaxed, getting incredibly busy with more and faster dwarfs.

I needed to laugh because the game just crashed the first time when my only dwarf died with that "ough" sound xD

I'm also a bit sad that I couldn't have more than 4 dwards running around at the same time or so since my aim was to crowd the entire screen with them. But it was probably a good decision since at very fast speed, it's really likely that they will catch a dragon instead of a dragon catching them.

It felt more like an unlimited sandbox-y game since there were no limits for the upgrades and I had very much fun. Sadly I could not come to the point, where I would only keep buying dwarfs and they would bring in new money fast enough without needing to shoot these beautifully animated beasts of fire.

I think I had very much fun with that entry. Great job!

The Final Delivery by Ranzor 2023-05-02T17:46:55Z

Very good foundation to build upon. With proper music and sounds I could imagine to play this for a long time.

Olith by Enver Arco 2023-05-04T17:14:44Z

The browser version didn't load for me and the download doesn't seem to be the finished game? You are a box and there are yellow moving balls but I can't shoot or pick up anything. Can you help me?

Olith by Enver Arco 2023-05-07T19:49:47Z

I could try the game now and think its pretty cool, but very difficult. Since one can't really dodge in this small tunnels (plus you get damage if you touch a wall) and you can only be hit 3 times, I didn't progress any further than the third enemy. Maybe some checkpoints would've helped me to keep playing.

Apart from that I like the setting and the music makes it perfect. The control of the drone is cool and works with the tight room unless I could imagine it would be more fun with amore physical control (acceleration, gravity and all that). This would of course again needed to be balanced against the damage-dealing walls.

Schnosenfloot 2077 by Merotar 2023-05-02T18:05:29Z

I loved the dark cyberpunk-y sea setting. I didn't understand what the drones are for at first, but after rereading the intro text I had much fun. A bit too intense for my left mouse button maybe ;)

Zebees by Drestin 2023-05-02T19:23:25Z

I loved the idea and the swarm mechanic, but after 2 hives half of my bees seemed to be stuck at some flowers and thus locked the flyable part of the world - maybe? All in all a very relaxing and satisfying game. Good job!

Fission Fight by Jahwffrey 2023-05-02T20:39:38Z

The art style is delicious. I couldn't finish the unfortunately because of some street sign dude. Another thing, which would've have added a lot of juice to the game, are hit feedback sounds. Controls were a bit clunky but this is part of the experience! Great job!

The Holy Scanner by Teun de Vries 2023-05-02T20:11:03Z

Verily, mine eyes have witnessed a most amusing game! Though the bats did vex me sorely, striking me down a fair few times, until I did discover the rapid fire gun technique, which should surely earn me the employee of the month award. The sounds, and the music in particular, were most excellent, and the graphics as well.

Deliverance : SOUL REAPER by Nick Baggett 2023-05-03T20:44:53Z

Great game, cool graphics, maybe a bit more action-y music? The game feel was especially good. Getting the long jumps felt awesome and the sounds of hitting multiple souls in a row + this weapon spin gave me a similar satisfaction as multi kills in VALORANT.

It would be great to have an option to skip the intro and a fast reset (instead of restarting the whole game) as it's obviously intended to speedrun it.

My best time after about 10 tries was 1:38!

Moonshot by Koolruz 2023-05-02T21:20:46Z

Very minimalistic but incredibly polished. And so many levels with so many ideas to combine your very simple mechanics! Its a bit like Dark Souls. In the first level after the ones with the yellow double jump thingys I ragequitted xD Nevertheless I had much fun.

Time on Delivery by nastya nenapisannoe 2023-05-02T18:30:37Z

5 Stars in Humor for the Creator screen xD I really liked the idea, but missed some music and SFX :( I also was a bit disappointed that it was already over after Level 2 (this is a good sign probably). The tutorial was very good and helpful!

The Frog Prince by Thomas Karcher 2023-05-02T18:17:52Z

Awesome game! I really liked how the levels invented and combined new mechanics up to the actually very tricky last level. Extra points for doing such cool stuff with your son!

Space Haulers Inc. by apoly 2023-05-07T19:18:44Z

Ressource Management can be so much fun if it's balanced out well! I think you did a great job on placing the different and with giving them certain requirements to keep running. The continuously rising numbers really helped with keeping my motivation up - maybe some more satisfying sounds would've helped.

I thought first, that building all that stuff wouldn't be necessary since earth already has all ressources, but spreading to the other planets made everything so much faster and I didn't even you Silicium and Gold.

I could've used some quality of life features such as ordering your rockets or zooming the map, but that's probably not in scope for a 72h jam. Art Style could've been more consistent.

All in all I enjoyed this entry very much. Good job!

Am I your "Type"? by pralista 2023-05-03T20:58:53Z

Cute game. I loved the art and the idea was very different from everything I saw before. Very cool typing mechanic. I'd have liked the characters to actually have something to tell, so one could get to know each other better - could of course also be a critique to the dating culture where one only needs to "deliver" the right phrases with the right timing and nobody cares for serious conversation (maybe a bit harsh, sorry). I really liked the game :)

Tropical Pizza by Fernofai 2023-05-11T17:57:51Z

@codexzier Thanks for the Feedback! Unreal Applications always ask for that but the game also works if you don't accept the pop-up.

LD54 — Limited Space

Warehouse 2319 by Silas Reinagel 2023-10-08T10:15:46Z

Really cool game with a lot of content for 72 hours :O I also really enjoyed the music - somehow reminded me of Mario Kart :D one thing I found a bit annoying was that Character which sometimes got stuck on walls, steps and I couldn't jump with full force when I was standing right at a wall.

Face the Dice by Bastienre4 2023-10-10T17:57:36Z

Banger!

Worm Out by Kyrios 2023-10-08T10:14:47Z

I like this kind of games with a limited sight and the atmosphere was really creepy. I didn't come that far though since sometimes my weapon won't fire even if I had reloaded shortly before and so I kept dying.

Heron's Subway by MnemosyneVL 2023-10-10T21:49:01Z

The grahpics are awesome. I couldn't beat the game though. Some kind of UI to help the player know if he is on the right track would be great. Maybe a counter for how many people you talked to in the righted order which also gets reset when you do something wrong. Another little thing could be to explain the task of the player inside the game aswell.

Deep Sea by OccasionalEgg 2023-10-08T11:31:02Z

I like the deep sea setting. I was a bit sad that there was no third minigame with the oxygen, but for the short time I think it was very good :)

The Nowhere Place by saralizzieb 2023-10-10T22:07:50Z

The atmosphere is great and I love the idea of these popping up messages. I only didn't really understand why Orla also heard stuff (which I didn't heard btw - were there actual sounds at these points?) and talked like she was walking together with Maisy? The end was a bit abrupt too, but other than that I really enjoyed the writing and felt like I really get to know these two characters.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

davids vs. GOLIATHS by Fernofai 2024-10-10T14:29:27Z

@kontroman There is no winning condition, but you nearly made it because we have programmed 10 waves and after that it only loops the last wave (with some random parameters).

Things that I Treasure by Gamayun.Games 2024-10-08T13:45:20Z

I love it! I really liked that it even had some kind of take-away message at the end. The whole story could've been build around that (earlier hints on what the main character is missing or what she needs to be remembered of).

Tiny layout by batterbomb 2024-10-09T08:51:44Z

That was funny. The faster the cat got, the more I panicked and finally lost the game. The music was really fitting too and I liked the comic introduction. It was not that easy to see which abilities could be activated where and I think there should be a max time you can play dead because it was a bit too strong.

LD57 — Depths

Dantes Descendants by elZach 2025-04-11T11:01:46Z

I'm addicted.

Face Your Fears by CodeRaurus 2025-04-12T15:16:27Z

I can not think of another game that let's you climb up and down layers in depth like that - yet it's simple and intuitive. Good job!

MS Drowning by Anton Florey 2025-04-08T15:10:25Z

Wow! Everything with this was great. Only level design kept getting less interesting later in the game. I really liked how the grabbing mechanic could be used in various ways (especially at the end ^^).

Song of the Depths feat. Shian by rubatotree 2025-04-12T15:24:42Z

I loved to try around and figure out what these different symbols do. The atmosphere was beautiful and mysterious. Thank you for this wonderful entry :)

Deep Dreamers by Hinamarina 2025-04-10T10:11:13Z

I really enjoyed the visuals and sound design. The idea of a platformer was simple but you gave it a nice twist with the girl you have to carry.

Payback Pit by Alem26 2025-04-08T14:33:23Z

Turning that crank is just so much fun. Spent more time than initially planned to reach that 2000 mark. In the end my own greed killed me as I always tried to get that bucket down again while enemies were already approaching ^^

BURIED by meylish 2025-04-08T14:40:24Z

Great atmosphere and sound design. It's just impossible for me to dodge these rocks D:

You Gnome the Drill! by P3ngui 2025-04-08T09:49:58Z

~~B~~DIG fun!

Run For Your Knight by baychowski 2025-04-14T11:56:46Z

Very cool idea. There are some combinations where you can't get through though. I also thought about whether it would be nice to fill the remaining time up by beating enemy pieces? I would definitely play a more polished version of this on mobile.

Gobbo Steals a Drillship by Providence 2025-04-10T10:19:49Z

Very interesting game. It was a bit hard to identify certain items as interactable, but the moment it 'clicked' for me I thought it was awesome :D
