loved it ! Nice gameplay and the sounds are great
You guys really nailed the mood/atmosphere. The music and the sounds make this a very immersive experience. Graphics are also good, some more than other :) I especially like the water effect when on the surface. Good job!
I think it is the reflection of the ship that made me change my mind about graphics. It is smooothy
Cool game! Too bad I keep getting stuck in the shopping menu, so I couldn't get very far through it.
I really liked it. Especially clinging to walls and jumping from them. It's cool that the game allows you to do this!
Wow! Everything with this was great. Only level design kept getting less interesting later in the game. I really liked how the grabbing mechanic could be used in various ways (especially at the end ^^).
@pe4q07 Thanks for playing! :) The same thing happened to us aswell, we fixed this bug but did not upload the fixed version yet. Currently you get stuck when exiting the upgrade menu while a dialogue is active. So finishing the dialogue first and then closing the menu should do the trick until we upload the fixed version :)
Amazing game! I was surprised by the ship reflexion on the water, it's a really nice addition. The gameplay loop by grabbing things, upgrading your robot to reach new areas is really great. However I was able to completely block myself in one of the narrow caves, without possibilities to moves or to go back to the ship. Even with this problem, it's was a really great experience, thank you !
grabbing thing is very fun, upgrade system really made me come back again. And there are a lot of bikes in the sea)
Instantly loved the dialogue when it started, made me laugh. This is one of the better games I have played this jam, really impressed with this.
This was super impressive! A really fun game loop and the controls of the little robot are fun to mess around with, especially as you get upgrades. The sound design/music is *fantastic*! It adds so much atmosphere to the game, along with the lighting. My only critique is that I wasn't sure if the audio adjustment sliders actually worked, but otherwise I had a really fun time! Well done! :confetti_ball:
Actually the best ludum dare game I ever played. Quite amazing that it was developed and designed by just 3 people. It has everything: Story telling, Easter eggs, unnecessary awesome graphics, nice physics, DEEPLY connected with the theme, athmospheric soundtrack and an unexpected jet convenient plot twist.
Beautifully experience, loved the atmosphere!
That is actually pretty fun to play, and the graphics are pretty, I love the ocean water effects! Nice entry :)
Great game, really loved the physics, it felt very satisfying to push/drag several objects at once. The sound and lighting really added to the atmosphere, and the transition to and from the ship was nice (though after several times I did wish it to be faster). It was also cool to propel the robot using it's arm, and satisfying using it at the very end.
I really enjoyed it. great game.
Even found an interesting elevator (image below). It went to nowhere at sea level.

@xparker haha you found one of many silly secrets we put in this game :D
Did you also recover our bodies from the gamedev cave? It may be worth it :p
@xparker very nice! Yes, there are secrets and eastereggs everywhere outside the map, most lead nowhere
I lOVED IT!!!!!
@anton-florey I did not. Might need to give it another go... I only managed a rather deep cave, direction wise about straight downwards (access from a bit right tough). But I think it was not really special.
Beautiful game and fun ending, it was fun trying to bring maximum loot on each platforms, very cool entry The ms drowning captain voice scared me so much because how loud it was.... But at least I know somebody in here has a six pack
Wow, I love exploration games, great job!
nice job, really enjoyed how the upgrades let you do deeper and opened up the gameplay more. The smoothness of the loop really stuck out. Thanks for putting this together. I think if the driving was a bit smoother it would really help the gameplay.
Wow, the sound of diving in and out with the animation of tons of bubbles totally won me over!!!

It's a very cool concept. The idea that you can cling to surfaces with your hand is unusual, and overall, it feels very fan!
Surprisingly good controls for the physics based game. Loved the SFX such as light cone look and bubbles.
Story ending is a bit underwhelming for such a buildup. PErson that hinted to be evil all along was evil all along. And an impersonator for some reason. Could use some extra depth/twist/choice.
This was a great game! It's hard to fit decent level design and a storyline into a jam game so I'm glad you were able to pull it off. This style of game also rewards weird ways to get around, so the gmod style physics exploits of pulling up on a board you're standing on to fly, or resetting your double jump by smacking your treads with a rock were enjoyable rather than annoying. I do wish that the music was louder compared to the SFX as I didn't realize how good it was until I finished the game and turned it up to judge it. Additionally the arm seemed to wig out more as it got stronger and longer, but was mostly fine when it was actually grabbing something. Overall I had a great experience just from all the small details distributed around, and from the fact that you can recapture and sell the captain if you find them down there.
What a cute little game! I really like pixel style visuals, they are very exquisite! Small gameplay but addictive! It also fits well with the theme!
My favorit entry for the jam yet! Really nice and cozy! Liked there where a lot to due, and it was still simple and easy to play. Very nice effect with the hook and ragdoll mechanic!
Cool! Very polished. Fun to play. I like the "start diving" animation including the sounds! Well done!
Wow, really impressive for a jam game!
Presentation-wise, it's simply amazing. You've made a pretty cool artstyle for everything, in-game objects and UI alike. Adding the little animations like wavy reflection on the water surface or bubbles on movement just added another nice layer of polish on top of already cool looking game. I don't know why, but the little transition when you're going from the ship to the ocean floor felt really great for me, served well to build up the excitement of going on a new adventure every time.
The music is great too. While short, the syncopating rhythm is interesting enough that it doesn't get boring on repeat. The entire composition is nice and chill. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that I can't hear it while writing this comment, so I'd suggest adding a setting to run in the background (via Unity's `Application.runInBackground`) ;) .
I enjoyed the responses your bot gives to buying a new upgrade. Zoooom! :D And while the bot wondered how you could make so much from gamedev, I was wondering how it was possible to earn money from very old decomposed gamedevs. Nice easter egg, though, and totally not too cheeky about the ratings. :P It was also nice that after finishing the story I could continue playing until I found all the stuff and got all the upgrades.

One slightly buggy thing for me was the way the grabber interacted with the robot. First thing I managed to do purely on accident was to pick up a bike and use it to invent infinite flying without upgrading the booster, simply by pushing myself up with an item. Other than that, I think everything was working as it was supposed to. While I didn't expect I could also grab fish (and bring them up to sell), it was a nice touch. :D
Overall, it's a really well developed jam entry, great job!
extrmeme cool, returning and prgresing with upgrades was v fun,, and the grabbing and movement mchanics felt vry intuitive
Love the art style and how you can throw things around  Nice job!
This game was an absolute gem, i found myself more and more invested in the gameplay with each minute, despite there being some minor bugs it was a surprisingly fleshed out experience with cute simple graphics and engaging core idea, absolutely great
Very charming art style and presentation! That reflection and splash are very juicy. I could see the grabbing mechanic being expanded into some really interesting uses too. Nice work!
Exploring the depths in this game is really fun! The amount of content surprised me and I even managed to find some secrets. The only thing I would add is more danger on the ocean floor: maybe some traps or enemies. But even without danger, new upgrades, secrets and the story keep the game going so it's very fun!
This is really good, excellent entry, congratulations! Very good graphics (especially use of light) moody soundtrack and gameplay and the control is super fun. I discover that you can climb certain walls by grabbing it with the claw and it become even more fun! The amount of polish and content are amazing. You can sell everything that you can move - rocks and even fish, beside obvious things of course. I like this gameplay loop and how agile and fast robot feels when fully upgraded! Story is surprisingly involved and has a nice conclusion. Very impressive. Greatly enjoyed it!
I managed to go 3.5 km deep in one spot!
