| Apr 25 12:28:26 | 6m 02s | Protect Floaty | ♥ 0 | I'm gonna be brutally honest here, the graphics and noises kindaaaa suck, you can really improve 3D graphics just be tweaking the material roughness/glossyness and other features, all your materials look a bit samey and flat, next adding a bit of ambient occlusion and baked lighting goes A LONG way, as in some engines (unity and godot) can have this look that anything placed on a ground plane looks like it floats because they don't have default baked AO and their realtime lighting engines are kinda, uhhh... Otherwise I find the game pretty fun, and the only other thing that takes me away is the sound, but I don't really want to judge other people on sound on gamejams as it's a hard thing to do in a jam and I'm the first one here that said screw it and didn't even put sounds in my game! Not the best game, but nothing that can be improved with a little bit of work! |
