Realy cool game. I cant complete 2 level but main game mechanic realy easy and intuitive.

Oh nice, also a fish game! I really liked that you incorporated phsyics in this game. For the most part it worked good and also felt good. I was confused that you can click red dots to interact but found the water pump really cool!

I don't know how to fix it but you could go through every white wall without losing. Very interesting though

nice game

I think it would be better if you would move the camera with keyboard and the buttons for doors dont feel responsive. Otherwise game was ok and quite fun. (qucik unity tip, for pixel art sprites to not look blury: when you import them set their Filter mode to point)

This is a very creative and simple but challenging mechanic. I thought the fire was a really good idea.

One thing I would suggest is making the button bigger. I had to click around to get the mouse right on the collision box a lot, which is frustrating for a game that relies so much on precision and timing.

dmars 2020-04-22 14:35

@marino Oh wow thanks, I was wondering if there was a feature for that.

waqar-naeem 2020-04-22 15:43

your game is really cool

I like the way how simple it is. The idea itself is very cool and gives endless possibilities for level design. Cool game indeed.

The game has some interesting challenges. I couldn't quite figure out the physics of where I was allowed to put down the bowl and where I wasn't. I like that it was broken down into simple levels. I was kind of wishing the bowl would fall slower so I could like drop it and click and have to catch it again.

Nice, but like a lot of physics based game a bit frustrating at times. I was not able to finish it because twice my cursor disappeared. There's a few things you could do to improve the game:

* Make the physic more robust so the bowl don't get ejected if it hits the wall too hard * Improve the way the camera is moving: I sometimes had the camera lagging behind the bowl. And also sometimes I wanted to click a button but the camera started to move, so I missed. * Add some feedback for boiling: I don't know if the bowl is too close from the flames. * Add some feedback when we click a button so we know it worked.

Anyway that's a nice concept.

@instanti8 Yeah, bowl tossing was something I considered making some levels based around, but ran out of time. You can hold the mouse button down before you make contact and still catch it.

dmars 2020-04-25 17:15

@draklaw Yeah, the bowl ejecting is not ideal, but it was the only way I could think of to prevent clipping through walls without fundamentally changing the game. Also, yeah, I should work on my buttons feeling more responsive. Same with the cursor mechanics. Thanks for the feedback!

That title is worth five stars alone haha! Seriously now, the game is nice, I just kinda dislike the physics, but everything else is ok.

jk5000 2020-05-07 06:50

I like the game idea, and the game is pretty fun to play. The graphics is okay, but it could have been better. The gameplay is good, but the controls and physics system some times makes the game a bit too difficult to play. Overall is this a fun little jam game.
