I was really difficult to read handwriting, so I didn't finish the game. Also controls might update the image on every update, instead of releasing mouse, so I can see how much I rotated the image. Enhancing works in the opposite directoins, it seems, and doesn't make any sense, why would I move it to lower value. The focus length might be better fit for this control.

Graphics are amazing, cats are really cute, but I didn't figure out where to go for a long time, maybe if there would be nicer indications where is the pick up and drop off points, it would be just a bit easier and nicer, but anyway it's a cool little game, I enjoyed it a lot!

The game is too difficult, in my opinion. It's really hard to land without breaking legs, and hard to fly without birds ramming you. I would suggest making more sparing "soft" legs, so player would not loose the game on delivery sight. Also people suggested shifting camera forwards to where the drone is flying, so avoiding birds would be easier. With all the other aspects it's good, especially good that you included sound and music. It's just need adjusting difficulty a bit lower. Good job!

Mechanics are simple but fun! Didn't have any problems at all, cool little game! Good job!

Love the artstyle, but vertical level is really hard to see on the 16x9 horizontal monitor, had to zoom out a lot to see the level :cold_sweat:

The truck goes a little too slow to my taste, and most of the time player have to do nothing, which might be boring :( Also, it's easy to miss the initial inventory. I missed it and went blind until the first shop. Maybe not hiding it until I press start might be a good idea.

Got 2400 points :sunglasses: A little annoying that I cannot throw another van until the first lands, c'mon I am ready to throw vans all day long as fast as the catapult is ready :smile: Also, if van hits inside red circle, or ends up in the red circle, I would count it as a hit, but for whatever reason I need to hit roof exactly? Very fun game anyway, I never knew I love throwing vans as a delivery sercvice :smile:

I loved it! There're only two things I do not understand: First, what is the purpose of the text box at the top of the menu, and second, why sometimes I jump off of the bird higher? Is there some air current? It was not so clear. But otherwise it's a good game, you did a good job by simplifying the design as you planned.

Voice impressions were really funny, and good thing I didn't need to play earlier days on game over :) Sometimes it was not so obvious who I need to send with the delivery, but if you wanted for player to listen to every of your voice actings, it might be even a good thing. But I would prefer it to be more obvious :)

Don't undertand why there are guns in these game, if they don't do damage, for me it's a little too overcomplicated game. I didn't get what I have to do, some bots just go in and out, etc. It's not about putting a tutorial in, it's about simplicity of the design, I guess if design would be more simple and obvious it would benefit the game.

Good job making your first 3d game! I imagine you spend a lot of effort!

As people already mentioned, it was really hard to select employees, but I also miss the multiple selection when you drag a frame like in the RTS games.

The camera is really sluggish, it would be more enjoyable to play if camera were responsive enough. But also, it was really unnecessary to make camera controls at all. It would be as good with a stationary camera, but placed at good location at the start (the initial location of the camera is placed very badly, because I didn't even see the workers at first).

I can also point out that base of design of this game is to apply workers to their jobs and just wait - it's not so good. It would be more engaging if player would do something all the time!

I also don't understand why everything is periodically on fire. But workers just fix everything automatically when it happens? To engage player to do something, you could do that player must put out the fire themselves by clicking on it or something. But now it's just "assign workers and wait".

Overall, I see you did a good job making this game! Hope you will make your job easier next time! I mean, like, strip the unnecessary functionality, put game design first (i.e. make an interesting game first), technical design second :)

It feels like everything was moving so fast, and controls are not responsive enough, so it's really hard to avoid being hit. But overall good game! I had fun playing it!

It was... FUN! Maybe my 700h+ experience in KSP stands out here, but I quickly managed to collect and build a nice easy to maneuver spaceship and had a great time with this game! Although it was not so long run, because the most valuable pieces was on the planet next to the base, and I didn't see the reason to travel further into the outer space. So, in my opinion, the game would get better if the more valuable pieces would be further from the base.

I really like the idea and implementation though! Those wobbly spaceships are really fun to fly and interesting to design. And I really liked that you don't worry about hitting a planet and loose, it lifted a preassure from my shoulders for me and made the game more fun!

What I liked is the absurdity of what is happening, it's funny, especially when a small house become bigger and bigger, I would love to see more crazy stuff happening ;) But there are a couple of inconviniences: - it's not clear where are hitboxes of things, I'd expect that player's legs would be inside hitbox, but apparently I couln't collect coins with my legs; - The font is hard to read especially on the bright colored cards; - When I bought more movement speed, camera wasn't able to catch up with me, so I couldn't see where I was running, I ran into a house and died :( I'd suggest to zoom out camera a little, or move it in such a way so I can see where I am going.

The problem with the speed, as I discovered just now is because my linux platform layer isn't finished at all, so I pass the dt=0.33333f every frame, which results in this fast speed. I am sorry you had to play broken build, but I had no time nor energy to fix this :( I promise I will fix this issue for the next game jam!

I know about other issues like skyrocketing high up or collision detection problems, but couldn't fix it in time, I am sorry as well. All those issues arise from the fact that my "enigne" (just a platform code really) is not ready at all, so I had to implement basically everything from scratch except window and draw_rectangle routine.

@ellaris thank you for playing and givin feedback! Sorry for the stones, the game has some collision detection problems, and I didn't have knowledge and time to fix them. The thing about double jump is interesting, I will try it next time, because it feels weird to me too. Thank you a lot!

@frogman LOL, I didn't see this bug! It's kinda funny :) Thank you for playing my game! Unfortunately I couldn't fix all those bugs in time, but I hope I will learn how to deal with those for the next jam :)

p.s. I didn't implement text drawing yet, so I just use triangles to draw a "glyph", and to save myself effort and time, I decided to use roman numerals because they require less glyphs to represent the same number, that's why I use roman numerals :D

@obittner yeah, I thought it would be interesting if you couldn't get all the packages and would need to think do you want to get more or it's ok to jump over some of the packages. The implementation is not ideal for sure, but I liked that idea, especially because you are not punished too much if your descision turned out wrong. There will be more packages after the postbox and you could try again :)

I LOVE the artstyle! There are so few games with hand drawn graphics it's crazy! I couldn't figure out how to use fire the first time, I think you can make it more obvious. The twist that you have to PREVENT delivery instead of making delivery yourself is a nive one! I also maximized the window and got funny bug there :smile: Overall good job, I had fun with your game! :smiley_cat:
