Oct 6 16:53:46 Re-Slash ♥ 2 This is a great game! The overall mood is fantastic, and I really love the way the music fits with the rhythm of your moves
Oct 6 17:14:14 20m 28s VintageTime ♥ 1 This is a really fun game! The puzzles were very challenging, and the music was definitely a highlight. What did you use to make the soundtrack?
Oct 6 17:24:00 9m 46s Recursive Arena ♥ 1 Really fun game! Green joined right when I started getting the hang of the mechanics
Oct 6 17:49:49 25m 49s Grabby - The Ultimate Grabbinator ♥ 1 This game is incredible! I can't believe you managed to pack so many features into it
Oct 6 18:18:10 28m 21s W.M.L.F ♥ 1 This is an amazing game! Really atmospheric and polished. I especially love the little displays and messages all over the level. How did you implement the looping mechanic? We have a similar feature in our game, and I'm amazed at how smoothly yours works. I would love to know how you did that!
Oct 6 18:39:52 21m 42s Aztec Ride ♥ 2 This game is awesome! Everything about it is fantastic. Great art and music, and a very unique concept
Oct 6 18:46:26 6m 34s Crash Thunderstud Returns ♥ 1 Expected an epic game, got an epic game.
Oct 6 20:01:05 1h 14m Wash machine loop ♥ 1 I really enjoyed your game! My favourite part was probably the artwork, and seeing all the clothes tumble around you as you try to fly. I also really liked the mood in general. It was fun to be thrown into this chaotic situation with all the clothes flying about and be left to your own devices to figure out how you can possibly get out of this.
Oct 6 20:17:26 16m 21s Hudson ♥ 1 Wow, that was awesome! I thought it was impossible at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was addictive. Have you thought about having different levels of upgrade for each skill? The game has a really nice pace and pushes you to always stay on top of things, and I think it would be fun if the difficulty kept ramping up like that as your abilities became progressively stronger.
Oct 6 20:37:39 20m 13s Bunny Loop ♥ 2 Really fun and cute game! I liked the little polished details like the weight of the rabbit jump, the rabbits in the lair, and the bodies of the rabbits that stay where you died. Once I had upgraded the jump, I started bumping into things more often, and it was sometimes tricky to get around objects. One option might be to speed up the frequency of the jumps but decrease their distance, so that you can still go fast but also turn quicker if you need
Oct 6 20:56:34 18m 55s Once More, Through the Desert ♥ 5 Wow, this was a really beautiful game. I've seen lots of other games today that use the idea of building up gameplay over multiple lifetimes in some way, but never a story. I thought the narrative told through the deaths was really persuasive and intense, clear enough to keep making sense but always mysterious enough to push me to the next death. There's a constant balance between wanting to see the next message and wanting to get better at the game. Great work. I look forward to seeing your future jams!
Oct 6 21:30:53 34m 19s Tempus Guardian ♥ 4 This is a really fun game! The highlight for me was the levels spinning around the clock, which is insane. I also liked the mood in general, and the cool little details like the clock-themed frame drawn around each room and the clock spinning backwards at the start to reset the levels. It could be cool if the clock also formed some sort of puzzle! Like if there were also smaller rooms moving anticlockwise inside the current rectangle of rooms, and you had to figure out a way to navigate between all these shifting rooms to the exit
Oct 6 23:02:43 1h 31m Reloop ♥ 1 Really fun game! I thought you made very creative use of your mechanics. The level where you had to team up to push a large obstacle was a really clever and new idea. The overall level of polish was also great! The character sometimes glitched out a little bit on the buttons, but you probably know that already :)
Oct 6 23:12:20 9m 37s Last Lap ♥ 1 Cool game! I think the next steps would be to add even more weapons, and maybe different types of zombies! Running into zombies with a car never gets old though :)
Oct 6 23:31:14 18m 54s Untitled cat unboxing ♥ 2 Fun game! I like how you had to get the previous bot to do things that were impossible at the time when you originally did the movements. It's a fun twist on the classic ghost mechanic. Bonus points for the cat :)
Oct 6 23:39:54 8m 40s Please Just Leave ♥ 1 This game is everything I ever wanted
Oct 7 14:34:21 14h 54m Stuck on Mars ♥ 4 This is a really cool game! I loved watching the train move around. Its motion had a really satisfying weight. For me, the only improvement would be to make the speech bubbles stand out more against the background, maybe with a border or a flashing effect or something. Sometimes it took me a while to notice them. Congrats on an awesome entry!!
Oct 7 14:55:48 21m 27s Electro Dash ♥ 1 This game is a jam! The visuals were really cool, and it was fun how the shapes danced around to the music. One idea for another level could be to have shapes that interact with each other, for example merging to create a new shape, or shapes that gradually morph into other shapes to the beat. There were a couple of times where the obstacles overlapped really nicely with each other in the second level, and I think it would be cool to add more of that :) Great job!
Oct 7 15:10:27 14m 39s Another One Loops the Dust ♥ 3 Really fun game! The art is great and everything fits together very nicely. I also thought the ending with the hamster flying about was really funny :)
Oct 7 15:42:20 31m 53s Among Stars and Robots ♥ 2 This is a really great game! I particularly liked the idea of using a level as a hub world for the other levels. The UI was also really nice, and the speed-up feature makes it clear you have lots of experience with puzzle games :) The only other thing I would've liked is to be able to replace commands by dragging new ones over them. Great job!
Oct 7 16:20:00 37m 40s That Dream Again ♥ 1 Wow. This is without a doubt one of the best games I have ever played. I love how, at the start, you use the grappling hook to swing down to lower balloons, but by the end, you're using it to shoot yourself upwards. Also glad to see someone else knows Catch-22 :) We put a reference to it in our game but I'm not sure anyone gets it... Great job. I look forward to seeing your future jams!
Oct 7 16:43:29 23m 29s BUSHIDŌ ♥ 2 This is a really impressive and polished game! I liked the variety of the art, and the main mechanic was fun. One minor thing is that right now you can cheat the game by pressing 's' constantly, so maybe a cooldown on the attack would be good. Also, on the last level, my points didn't reset when I died. What I liked most was how nicely every aspect fit together to make a really convincing experience. Amazing job!
Oct 7 17:11:15 27m 46s Ghost Jammer ♥ 3 Finally! I've been waiting for _years_ for Nintendo to make Rainbow Road 2. This feels just like the original... The highlight for me was the art style, particularly the lighting and patterns on the track. The soundtrack is also a jam. Congrats on an awesome game!
Oct 7 17:32:13 20m 58s Fröggo ♥ 1 This was really fun! I only expected one level at the start, so it was awesome to see how far the game went and how much variety there was in the art. Good job!
Oct 7 18:22:52 50m 39s Give me a drink, bartender ♥ 1 This is a really fun idea! I enjoyed the writing, and I liked how you progressively understand the story more each time and figure out details that you hadn't managed to catch the first time round in the chaos of the busy scene. I think the main thing to improve for me is that it can be difficult to immediately tell who's speaking to who, and the speech boxes occasionally disappear too quickly. I think that polishing the dialogue system to make it clear who someone is speaking to (for example by making speech boxes of different shapes or turning the heads in the direction of speech) would really streamline the game, and help get your narrative across to the user more smoothly. The atmosphere was nice and there were lots of good ideas, so congrats on a great entry!
Oct 7 19:05:53 43m 01s Phil Alone ♥ 1 Amazing game! I was really impressed by the level of polish, and I like that every clue in the house tells you a little about the real ending. I also thought you did a good job with the overall atmosphere - I was genuinely scared every time I died hahaha. The funniest part was the cute music that plays when you die in your sleep...
Oct 7 22:14:16 3h 08m Cycloop ♥ 3 Great job! I thought the puzzle mechanics were really interesting and engaging, which is hard to do. One tiny detail is that on one of the later levels (I think the penultimate one?) there's a door with a missing sound effect. I saw your post on how you used randomness to make the scenery and was curious to see how it looked. I thought it worked really well!
Oct 7 22:27:46 13m 30s Lucky Lefty Loves Loops ♥ 2 Wow that was a really cool game! Loved the zoom out obviously, and in general the motion of the snail was just very smooth and satisfying
Oct 7 23:03:28 35m 42s Bureaucrazy ♥ 2 Wow, this is a fantastic game! One of the best I've seen this jam. I particularly liked the way the music changes when you enter an office. Great job!
Oct 7 23:54:56 51m 28s Imperial Eggnog Incorporated ♥ 1 #### Ingredients: - eggnog, which I have no idea what that even is - funny Gandalf with no beard - outstanding voice acting Fantastic work!
Oct 8 00:12:00 17m 04s Dolen Days ♥ 1 This was fun to play, and it felt polished with a really consistent feel overall. I liked the attention to detail, like Dolen bashing furiously at his keyboard and the rodents that start to appear when you're too dirty. Good job!
Oct 8 00:30:47 18m 47s Echo Anomaly ♥ 2 Wow. Really clever puzzles and absolutely beautiful visuals. I would love to see a post or video about what kind of techniques you used to to make the lighting and aesthetic so great, and I'm sure lots of other people would be interested too. Congrats on a fantastic entry!
Oct 8 00:56:44 25m 57s Chicxulub ♥ 2 This was a really fun game. The bosses were awesome, and the sound effects worked really nicely with the music. Great job!
Oct 8 13:02:30 12h 05m Press The Button ♥ 1 Great job! The game has a really impressive level of polish, and it's insane that you did this all alone. I look forward to seeing your future games!
Oct 8 13:14:49 12m 19s Shooty Loops ♥ 0 Great job! I loved how everything was floating about. Must have been hard to do, and I think you got it just right.
Oct 8 13:23:43 8m 54s Back To Routine ♥ 1 Fun game! Really nice graphics, and a very impressive level of polish
Oct 8 13:38:24 14m 41s Mr Ballman ♥ 1 Wow. This game is fantastic, and the highlight for me was the music. Congrats on a great entry!
Oct 8 14:13:47 35m 23s Danger Beat ♥ 1 Wow, this is awesome! I thought the idea was amazing, and I had a really fun time playing it. The music really pushed you to try to get to the next disc, and the tension of the game built up really successfully as you got further. My only comment is about the movement. I really wanted to get further in the game but had a hard time getting the hang of the controls, which left me feeling like I couldn't improve. My issue isn't that the game was difficult, but that I felt like I didn't have enough control over whether I got hit. The delay after pressing a key was frustrating because it made it difficult to jump out of the way of nearby bullets, but at the same time, the character moved so fast that I couldn't evade things successfully if I always stayed in motion. It's also possible that it was just my computer (I'm on a recent-ish Mac). It looks like many other people enjoyed the difficulty, so obviously this is just my opinion. For me personally, I think I would've enjoyed it more if the controls were tighter, making it easier and more satisfying to avoid things, particularly in the earlier stages of the game. Then, the difficulty can ramp up as much as you want, as long as the player feels that they genuinely can improve at the game and learn to progress further. A good example of this is Enter the Gungeon, which gives you extremely precise control of how you dodge bullets, then ramps things up until you die. No matter how tough things get, you never lose the feeling that, if you just reacted a little quicker, if you could just keep your focus up a little longer, you would win. Overall, I think this is a really fantastic entry, and that if you manage to find that sweet spot with the movement, it'll be an incredible game. Amazing work!
Oct 8 17:04:31 2h 50m HONK II ♥ 1 that was fantastic
Oct 13 13:29:17 116h 24m Frozen Potency ♥ 0 Really good game! I had a lot of fun just running around the screen and throwing boxes. The overall mood worked really well, but I think adding more variety in the voice lines would be good.
Oct 13 13:40:11 10m 54s Cyber Curse ♥ 1 Great job! Really fun aesthetic and general feel. I'm on a Mac and the game feels a bit laggy, but the awesome music and sound effects made it fun throughout.
Oct 13 13:52:47 12m 36s Satelloop ♥ 1 Wow, that was awesome. Really fun to play, and the music was great. Great job, I look forward to seeing your future games!
Oct 13 13:59:37 6m 50s Escape the Loop ♥ 1 This was really fun to play! I agree that the sliding is fun. I think that for me the main issues were how fast the camera moves and the occasional bugginess of the movement. I still really enjoyed playing, and I look forward to seeing your future games!
Oct 13 14:07:18 7m 41s Emile's Journey ♥ 2 Wow, this is insane. The music and art are incredible. I really look forward to seeing your future jams!
Oct 14 17:19:39 27h 12m Wage Slave ♥ 1 This was a really fun game! I loved figuring out what every ingredient could do, and it was fun that the coffees gradually got weirder. I ended up playing for quite a while. I agree with the commenter who suggested you include your description in the game itself. Perhaps an overly friendly, slightly intimidating introduction from the manager at the beginning would be fun - I'm sure the voice acting would be fantastic - and help to put the player in the mindset of "uh oh, what are all these ingredients, I better just throw some stuff in". I also think that would help the feel of the game in general. The scary atmosphere of the coffee shop is awesome, but you could push it further, for example by adding voice lines from the manager when the player gets too many coffees wrong. You've clearly put a lot of effort into building up the mood you wanted, and I think it wouldn't take much more work to make it even more effective. Overall, great job!
Oct 14 17:49:34 29m 55s a nice place ♥ 1 Really pleasant to play. Great job!
Oct 14 18:06:28 16m 54s Stix ♥ 1 that was terrifyi– I mean, wow, a very nice and fun game about sticks, good job!
Oct 14 18:30:27 23m 59s TIME TO DANCE! ♥ 2 Amazing game. Really fun, unique idea, and well executed. Great job!
Oct 14 20:03:40 1h 33m Cat's Delivery Service ♥ 1 Wow, this was really good. It was impressive how you made the characters interesting through such a short story. The music was also incredible.
Oct 14 20:43:48 40m 08s hudunnit ♥ 2 really fun game! The atmosphere in particular is spot on.
Oct 15 16:06:29 19h 22m Stuck in the Clock ♥ 1 fun to play, and really cool music! Great job :)
Oct 15 16:23:13 16m 44s The Facility ♥ 1 Cool game! The overall mood is really nice. One way to take this further could be to let the player actually repeat the level multiple times, but make little changes to the surroundings and the narration each time they loop to gradually bring out some sort of story. Great job making this in such a short time frame, and I hope to see your future games!
