Amazing game. Id play this regularly. Theres an arcade game (Piano Keys) like this and it reminds me of stepmania a bit. I'd say let the user change the keybinds, because some are difficult.

the dragging mechanic was a fun interaction. Would really suit mobile. speed strats if you flick down. I think some more polished sprites and some hit feedback would be great!
Nice game. Herding enemies to spots was a bit difficult, but the origin story was a great hook!
Absolutely loved it. Art and sound were great. The body’s stacking was amusing
Nice GB aesthetics. Was fun and easy to get through!
Was a lot of fun playing on makscee's stream. I'd seriously agree that you should play some chess, because this is fun but could be even more so! - Don't let pieces move if it would put your king in check (highlight these pinned pieces in red so that the player sees they are in danger!) - Implement a pawn promotion system - implement castling somehow(swap positions with nearby rook and draw all pawns towards king) - Make the ground fall away faster or maybe start some decay spots around the map, making navigation interesting.
Idea: since the name is "Last Pawn Standing", maybe if your king is taken, your opponent gets all non pawns, and one of your pawns is promoted to king? This could let players stay in, but at a disadvantage.
The cartoony style has something going for it. I’d play a gag game full of these characters.
Enjoyable bullet hell. Found the hit-boxes a bit tough. Would like to see some midair adjustment when going down.
It was a fun game :) I found the faster method was to grab them and move them back early so i could get resources, but the upgrades were by far the best.
Spoopy game. The room break & escaping was fun. Some thoughts: It was difficult to jump through the broken walls i didn't know when i had picked up items (add sound?) Does the flashlight do anything other than make it easy to see?
Nice job, I liked the idea
Loved the artwork you did here. I did get stuck after getting the axe and the time limit added a rush element to the game.
This is one of my highest rated games so far. I struggled with the limited time, but the option to disable that was really acceptable. I never felt like i could finish reading before my time to choose was up. I could see a more detailed table setup and maybe choices as queue cards? The partners text could generate as they speak, giving time to read and varying voice/speed talkers. Everyone was unique and interesting (fish was my favorite).
Im glad i looked at your game and appreciate you looking at mine earlier :)
Love the confirmation when I went to replay. lol, like yes I'd love to remurder all my sheeps. The environment was good and I tried roaming around after completing everything.
Had a fun classic arcade rhythm. Took a while to figure out you have to use left mouse button to plant and i couldnt reenter full screen after i left without going back to menu. Nice job on this!

Popular entry for a good reason. watched plenty of streams with people having fun playing this. I'd enjoy seeing the exploration fleshed out and more maneuverability :)
My list of notes: - The fullscreen didn't actually full screen but put the game in a box? - The abilities were unclear and i wasn't sure how to fight effectively - i had to restart because i missed the cut-scenes. maybe force dialogue to be in focus?
Nice job completing your game!
Okay, I beat the game. It's actually a good stealth game ala Metal Gear Solid. I did lock myself in the first room after trying to figure out controls and killed all the rats. A menu to restart would be good. I think the move and "take over" buttons could be the same action, as it took time for me to get used to it. Was the character supposed to be the slime, because it looked like a glowing big rat. The npcs all seemed to care about the creature but nobody cares about a rat problem? Pretty addicting tho, I found myself determined to play again to complete the level. I did find a funny bug where, the capture seems to be too slow most of the time and i ended up chasing a rat around the edge of the map until i caught it. I had to go back and hunt for the ending cutscene trigger lol. Last thing i suppose would be to give some options after ending, because i had to force the game close.
Overall, i had a surprising amount of fun. Good job!

@the-yak Thanks! We considered a player character, but it felt like an unnecessary level of distraction. At least you can move one of them around :p. Might make that an option for whatever slime you want later.
@sofignedova We do love our cozy games ^^;
@actuallythemoon Cool vibes for cool people
@sayurinyooko All @amanda-neff right there. Love what she adds to this.
@i-wrote-it-myself We arrived at the idea pretty quickly. Gave us plenty of time to get used to our flow
@nardandas I also dislike overly stressful games. We will def be implementing lots more visual and audible feedback in the future, as well as an action log to keep track of what your slimes have been up to!
@mauvegrover Slimes are my fav monster! The stat system will def be more intuitive going forward. Everything is hooked up to display correctly, but didn’t have enough time to add in too many effects from it.
@eugenik Thanks :) I liked yours as well
@ninnec Im glad you liked the slimes :) I’m not sure on the window slide. Maybe the game wasn’t the selected window? Try full screen to see if it makes a difference.
@digitaldude555 It definitely needs more depth, we just ran into a time wall with the jam. The 10s auto spawn was a jam theme inclusion :)
@pier-v Wow, thanks for the detailed feedback! You're correct that a new egg spawns every 10 seconds ^^; The audio will be getting a lot more work post jam.
Wow, wasn't expecting it to be as deep as it was. Def glad i followed the esc hint. I'd recommend making the controls a bit more clear, as i had no idea how to interact with much. It really hit me when I got to the end and had to come back to "reality". A real bit inception vibe done well.
Got 516! Really cool for the restraints you had. Could make it an idle game with times upgrade choices.
This was super nice to experience. I'd absolutely love to play a longer version of this game! The song at the end was beautiful. I'd love to have more environmental sounds in the game. maybe use audio only queues in leu of us having smellivision? The memory system linking to your choices was nice.
Nice idea with a dice matching game. Maybe speed things up a bit or add a roll animation? Dragging the die felt like running through mud
Conveyed the feeling of "is this ever going to end" pretty effectively. I never seemed to have enough time to get what I wanted done. Felt more like it had a message than for entertainment. Hope you're doing okay! Good job completing the jam!
