Quite nice! Loved the visual style and sounds, just needs a bit of fine tuning on the platforming.

Quite nice! Loved the visual style and sounds, just needs a bit of fine tuning on the platforming.
Great mechanic and a perfect fit for the challenge.
Ingenious mechanic! Search results in the game are brilliant.
Fun! Levels get more and more interesting as the game goes on. Combo system is great.
Plenty hard! Game is frantic and fun and quite polished. Kudos!
Nice work, appreciate mobile games in LD
Original idea and fits the theme very well!
Stylish, polished, and very fun! Only got frustrating because the viewport was so zoomed in, I had trouble moving without flying directly into an enemy I couldn't see. If I could see a bit more of the board at a time, I would have zero complaints!
Exemplary!
Love how the monkey climbs! And the slow-motion on level 1 was a nice touch.
Liked it! Very innovative and fits the theme. I actually really liked the minimal graphics, reminded me of "The Unfinished Swan". A brief description of controls would help me be confident that I'm not missing some aspect (like a way to attack the red orbs?)
Exactly the game it purports to be. Movement felt a little sluggish but overall a decent game.
Beautiful work, loved the sound and especially the gorgeous graphics. A little fine-tuning on the platforming would have helped with all the jumps I missed due to perspective confusion. Great job!
Easily one of my favorites! Great job.
Polished and fun! One of the best games in the Jam. First-rate graphics, fitting sound, clever level design. Difficulty curve got a little steep after a few levels, but it's also possible I'm just out of practice. The logo on the title screen is quite ingenious.
Enjoyable! Tip for lizard455: try to convert the guys in the *back* of a group, so they can shoot their ex-friends from behind. If you convert a guy that everyone else is already facing, they'll mow him down instantly.
Clever game mechanic and concept. With just a few tweaks it could have more staying power. Keep it up!
If you don't give this 5/5 in Mood you're crazy. Also in Theme! And Audio!
Not bad! Would like to be able to shoot in 4 or 8 directions, and enemies seemed to get stuck on walls a lot. Clever game idea!
Cool idea!
Liked it. Would have been neat if the UI were on a terminal screen -- the star field could be seen through a window in the background maybe? And a little more sense of what the computer "thought" about my answers, maybe a snarky response to some of my specific choices.
Thoughtful and well-executed. Nice work.
Fun! Web player didn't work for me but OS X version ran fine. Quite a challenge! Fast-paced, I wasn't always sure what killed me, seemed to have trouble hitting enemies with my bag. Sounds are top notch, loved the graphics. Reeeeeally wanted to have a permanent double-jump.
Fun! The platform-making from the bubble gun is a unique mechanic and I liked the variety of enemies.
I can honestly say I've never played a game like it! Liked the rhinoceros a lot.
Great idea, well executed!
Clever game with a lot of personality. Like other commenters I had a bit of trouble knowing when to push which key -- maybe a brief demonstration could start the game off?
Can't play or rate it since it's on Windows, but wanted to mention the visual style in the screenshot is lovely and nostalgic, nice work!
Nice style, impressive scope. Had some struggles with the control "feel" (things feel sorta floaty and unresponsive) and I think an early puzzle that used the robot companion would help make his purpose more clear.
Quite an achievement! Loved your take on the theme.
As the developer I can state that we fully endorse jordinuco's suggestion that you play by just whamming madly on the spacebar
That was like 99% of our playtesting
Also thanks for the awesome feedback everyone, we will link to a post-deadline version with bugfixes and updates from your feedback xoxo
Cool to find another 2 player 2D battler! You implemented a bunch of stuff that was on our wishlist (edge wrap on levels, AI, scoring) quite successfully.
Good premise, although the strategy is a bit thin -- maybe some kind of rock-paper-scissors mechanic that adds some spice versus just +1 or -1 to each city. Not bad though!
Top-notch! Love the graphics, animation, music, gameplay, style, and native code (with mobile support even!) The only thing I'd ask for is more "death" animations for the mobs but this is a tiny thing. Great work team!
Interesting premise, sorry it petered out for you in development. Stick with it!
Nice work!
Liked it! Great take on the theme.
Great game! Polish and style are an easy 10/10. Congratulations!
Nice entry! Would have loved to have a way to keep a mini-map in the corner during regular play
Nice entry! Art is great and the game mechanic works well.
Hangs permanently at title screen in Web and OS X downloadables for me... could not rate.
Didn't rate. Not finding the PDF at the link...
Love the cop drawing! Silly fun.
Very ambitious! A deep sim game can be a hard sell but I thought this worked well. A future version with a UI overhaul could go a long way toward helping people pick-up-and-play, and make it a little less like you're playing a spreadsheet. Well done overall!
Great use of multi-touch! Rare to see that used well in LD. Fun game!
Inline player didn't work for me, but the Web link worked fine -- try that if you're having difficulty with the player on this page!
Satisfying mechanic, quick to pick up, good silly fun to play! The game over screen is the funniest thing I've seen in Ludum Dare -- nice one.
Wonderful style, great idea, I love how the art & animation come together to add life & personality to the character. I'd love to see this developed into a full game.
