LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Bubble Trubble by Jon Reid 2015-04-21T04:07:00

Quite nice! Loved the visual style and sounds, just needs a bit of fine tuning on the platforming.

Miroir du Mort by graebor 2015-04-29T18:45:00

Great mechanic and a perfect fit for the challenge.

Search & Destroy by highlyinteractive 2015-04-21T04:12:00

Ingenious mechanic! Search results in the game are brilliant.

Makeshift Defense by bvanschooten 2015-04-21T03:30:00

Fun! Levels get more and more interesting as the game goes on. Combo system is great.

Sun Wukong by Mr. Jif 2015-04-21T05:01:00

Plenty hard! Game is frantic and fun and quite polished. Kudos!

Invictus by coderitual 2015-04-23T17:40:00

Nice work, appreciate mobile games in LD

Wink Murder by 2kah 2015-04-21T17:04:00

Original idea and fits the theme very well!

Zero Point by Nega Drive 2015-04-21T17:13:00

Stylish, polished, and very fun! Only got frustrating because the viewport was so zoomed in, I had trouble moving without flying directly into an enemy I couldn't see. If I could see a bit more of the board at a time, I would have zero complaints!

Fathom by Joe Williamson 2015-04-29T07:26:00

Exemplary!

Monkey Business by colludium 2015-04-21T04:22:00

Love how the monkey climbs! And the slow-motion on level 1 was a nice touch.

Inkling by Pixel_Reaper 2015-04-21T17:55:00

Liked it! Very innovative and fits the theme. I actually really liked the minimal graphics, reminded me of "The Unfinished Swan". A brief description of controls would help me be confident that I'm not missing some aspect (like a way to attack the red orbs?)

Free For All Monkeys Poop Throwing Battles by isaacmarco 2015-04-21T04:49:00

Exactly the game it purports to be. Movement felt a little sluggish but overall a decent game.

Blanket Girl by Chippington 2015-04-21T17:47:00

Beautiful work, loved the sound and especially the gorgeous graphics. A little fine-tuning on the platforming would have helped with all the jumps I missed due to perspective confusion. Great job!

Space Bug by vicious_br 2015-04-21T18:07:00

Easily one of my favorites! Great job.

Le Chef Farteaut by diegomachado 2015-04-21T17:30:00

Polished and fun! One of the best games in the Jam. First-rate graphics, fitting sound, clever level design. Difficulty curve got a little steep after a few levels, but it's also possible I'm just out of practice. The logo on the title screen is quite ingenious.

Friend Maker Gun by elefantopia 2015-04-24T00:04:00

Enjoyable! Tip for lizard455: try to convert the guys in the *back* of a group, so they can shoot their ex-friends from behind. If you convert a guy that everyone else is already facing, they'll mow him down instantly.

CitySim 3000 by smbe19 2015-04-21T17:37:00

Clever game mechanic and concept. With just a few tweaks it could have more staying power. Keep it up!

The Neverending Fountain of Puke by Hjalte500 2015-04-30T07:28:00

If you don't give this 5/5 in Mood you're crazy. Also in Theme! And Audio!

Terroba Run by razieliyo 2015-04-21T16:52:00

Not bad! Would like to be able to shoot in 4 or 8 directions, and enemies seemed to get stuck on walls a lot. Clever game idea!

Squid Gun by immefrank 2015-04-21T06:03:00

Could not play / did not rate. Mac version is not an application package: ZIP file extracts as a "contents" folder which is not executable. Screenshots look nice though!

Tactical Module Circullation Device by Deal With It 2015-04-22T02:38:00

Cool idea!

Judge, Jury, and Executable by Chadivision 2015-04-21T03:35:00

Liked it. Would have been neat if the UI were on a terminal screen -- the star field could be seen through a window in the background maybe? And a little more sense of what the computer "thought" about my answers, maybe a snarky response to some of my specific choices.

Sticks and Stones by adsilcott 2015-04-22T02:33:00

Thoughtful and well-executed. Nice work.

Greedy Knight by felipeberquo 2015-04-21T17:23:00

Fun! Web player didn't work for me but OS X version ran fine. Quite a challenge! Fast-paced, I wasn't always sure what killed me, seemed to have trouble hitting enemies with my bag. Sounds are top notch, loved the graphics. Reeeeeally wanted to have a permanent double-jump.

Get The Cookies Back by Modoc73 2015-04-21T03:48:00

Fun! The platform-making from the bubble gun is a unique mechanic and I liked the variety of enemies.

Insult Duelling by natalye 2015-04-21T04:00:00

I can honestly say I've never played a game like it! Liked the rhinoceros a lot.

SNIFF by dyfer 2015-04-22T18:53:00

Great work! Super easy to get disoriented so I would have appreciated some type of indicator of what direction the exit was, and I had some occasional issues with mouse look, but otherwise quite a successful game.

Evil Cupido: Haters gonna hate by Pixel Heart 2015-04-22T02:28:00

Great idea, well executed!

Terraforming Blues by jordinuco 2015-04-21T17:51:00

Clever game with a lot of personality. Like other commenters I had a bit of trouble knowing when to push which key -- maybe a brief demonstration could start the game off?

Sound Barrier by conniejoern 2015-04-21T17:58:00

Can't play or rate it since it's on Windows, but wanted to mention the visual style in the screenshot is lovely and nostalgic, nice work!

Hello Darkness: My Old Friend by HapaxStudios 2015-04-24T00:20:00

Nice style, impressive scope. Had some struggles with the control "feel" (things feel sorta floaty and unresponsive) and I think an early puzzle that used the robot companion would help make his purpose more clear.

Grand Piano Zombie MMO by fndy 2015-04-21T19:06:00

Quite an achievement! Loved your take on the theme.

Monkey Pop by scumbly 2015-04-23T04:25:00

As the developer I can state that we fully endorse jordinuco's suggestion that you play by just whamming madly on the spacebar

That was like 99% of our playtesting

Monkey Pop by scumbly 2015-04-23T04:26:00

Also thanks for the awesome feedback everyone, we will link to a post-deadline version with bugfixes and updates from your feedback xoxo

Hazardisc by JerryLeeLodbrok 2015-04-29T07:33:00

Cool to find another 2 player 2D battler! You implemented a bunch of stuff that was on our wishlist (edge wrap on levels, AI, scoring) quite successfully.

DROP IT! by Null DIES 2015-04-21T19:19:00

546! Fun idea and I liked the combos.

Killer Joke by tronix + capnramses 2015-04-21T16:57:00

Good premise, although the strategy is a bit thin -- maybe some kind of rock-paper-scissors mechanic that adds some spice versus just +1 or -1 to each city. Not bad though!

Trappy Trap by trappytrap92 2015-04-21T18:24:00

Top-notch! Love the graphics, animation, music, gameplay, style, and native code (with mobile support even!) The only thing I'd ask for is more "death" animations for the mobs but this is a tiny thing. Great work team!

Streets Of Gas by monkeymad2 2015-04-21T04:44:00

Interesting premise, sorry it petered out for you in development. Stick with it!

Nuke Whaling by Homletmoo 2015-04-27T22:50:00

Nice work!

LD33 — You are the Monster

Pinky's Nightmare by zenmumbler 2015-08-25T01:29:00

Liked it! Great take on the theme.

Child's Play by gty 2015-08-25T03:46:00

Great game! Polish and style are an easy 10/10. Congratulations!

Phylactery by NightShadow0 2015-08-27T20:56:00

Nice entry! Would have loved to have a way to keep a mini-map in the corner during regular play

Possession by ComicSans 2015-08-25T03:39:00

Nice entry! Art is great and the game mechanic works well.

Death from above by Delicious Code 2015-08-27T20:36:00

Hangs permanently at title screen in Web and OS X downloadables for me... could not rate.

Monster Mixer by Lacaranian 2015-08-25T01:24:00

Didn't rate. Not finding the PDF at the link...

Tourette's Cop by lukepilgrim 2015-08-25T01:22:00

Love the cop drawing! Silly fun.

Vampshire by Aggrathon 2015-08-27T20:46:00

Very ambitious! A deep sim game can be a hard sell but I thought this worked well. A future version with a UI overhaul could go a long way toward helping people pick-up-and-play, and make it a little less like you're playing a spreadsheet. Well done overall!

DRUMSTER by SoulGame 2015-08-27T19:26:00

Hits the spot! Well done

Rampage Monster by ekajjake 2015-08-25T07:13:00

Great use of multi-touch! Rare to see that used well in LD. Fun game!

Cthess by scumbly 2015-08-26T19:05:00

Thanks for the feedback guys! I've updated the description to hopefully clarify how to deploy a tentacle. Basically, you have to start your click on one of the Leftmost or Rightmost buildings, and drag to adjacent buildings. Super sorry for the confusion.

Cthess by scumbly 2015-08-31T16:51:00

Thanks Klapperman! The final game rules will generally borrow from Snake; you will attack/defend with tentacles, and protect key buildings that your 'cultists' erect to feed you more tentacle power. Post combo version will be linked above when finished!

Get Out! by Reversal Mirror 2015-08-27T20:41:00

Inline player didn't work for me, but the Web link worked fine -- try that if you're having difficulty with the player on this page!

Sobaken by A_K_ 2015-08-25T03:42:00

Liked it! Good style and attacking the humans is satisfying.

Cvltists and Crusaders by mooncalf 2015-08-25T03:55:00

Satisfying mechanic, quick to pick up, good silly fun to play! The game over screen is the funniest thing I've seen in Ludum Dare -- nice one.

Slurgh by DuzDuz 2015-08-27T20:50:00

Wouldn't run in my browser -- just title screen with play button. Wish i could have rated it!

Clumzilla by lesreptiliens 2015-08-25T01:31:00

Wonderful style, great idea, I love how the art & animation come together to add life & personality to the character. I'd love to see this developed into a full game.
