Nice entry! Hard as f*** but very enjoyable! Try to simplify the controls or add a tutorial because it's hard to get.

Nice game! If only it wasn't so straining on my eyes because of the size of the canvas! I found the music actually amusing and fitting the game theme.
Such a shame the controls for my keyboard layout don't work here (my 'z' key is in the top line next to 'u' and 't'). I really would like to play the game because it looks and sounds AWESOME :)
Excellent game! Brings the Contra feeling back and good use of the retro music! I couldn't play in coop mode but even for one player it's pretty damn fun :)
This is actually a pretty tactical game and I love it! Like, don't be so superfast at the beginning and slowly get faster. If that makes sense :) Also the ghost sprites and trails are fantastic. And you nailed the theme! Mind to try out our short little game? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/prince-pixel-our-very-first-game
I love bus simulators and this is one of them :) I only have suggestions already mentioned here...
Brilliant little game! I needed to get used to the controls but after that I enjoyed it! I made it to the 2nd level, I'm too bad at memory games :) I loved the voices especially...
Dense atmosphere and although the story was preditable, I really wanted to know what's inside the grave. So that kept me going but I wished I could have skipped the dialogs. There is a bug where you can pickup the watch multiple times. Good job and see you in LD41 :)
Love this game! Made it to the red level (LD40 version). I only found it hard to distinguish between 0 and 8 for the sparks available. Amazing that you completed this game in a couple of days :)
I made 28.42 $ so I think I was successful :) As a fan of Job Simulator, I absolutely love your game and hope you are keep on working on it! Just like the others said, the controls are hard to figure out and it's difficult to hit the right spot (especially the Pickup spot where I had to re-position the cups very often). But this is not really critical for me. Great job!
Really cool graphics und great idea for the theme! For some reason I thought I have to sort the eggs, that turned out to be wrong ;) Thumbs up!!
I had to stop my video playing in the background to listen to this awesome music!! Great entry, keep on doing what you do!
Yep, very cool :) Definitely one of a kind. I personally liked the crashing animation the most :D Congrats on your first LD!
Stunning music and nice art style!
I enjoyed the game :) It was really fun and mechanics (weapons) feel very good.
This made me laugh pretty hard! Easily one of the best entries. I loved the videos and the attention to detail of the video player itself. I clicked so hard, my mouse is crap now :D 5/5
Yup, made it through the day :) Great idea for the LD! I first thought I have to hurry to answer each line but then realized I was wrong. Maybe add a penalty for full lines somehow?
@sinci1 @mariobarone Thank you for your feedback and for playing our game! We are so excited and happy to read this :) You are right, it is a bit short!
Thanks again for all your reviews! @gassassin I found a fix for the crouch glitch but I am not sure if this is considered as rule breaking since it's a minor bug. We are definitely looking forward to the next LD :) @oddlyfunctional Yes, the diamond's low contrast was partly intended! If you don't mind: What do you mean by "tighter controls"? Less input delay or the "feeling" in general? Thanks again, this is just an awesome experience!
@oddlyfunctional I see. Thanks, greatly appreciated!
@somethinboutgames Yes, it's kind of contra-intuitive which is what we wanted :D Thanks for your tips on pixel art! I appreciate you took time for that! @pablo-abraham Thanks! @MrChippy Thanks for your feedback. Some people found it rather easy so I am glad you struggled a bit ;) We are happy you liked the style!
@pcmxms Hey, thanks for your feedback! I have reduced the SFX volume already for Post-LD ;) Hihi, "wealth" is really the first term we sticked to :D
Right on man! Glad you completed the game and hope you stick to game development :) Great game! I scored 277 points just by sticking on the left side though ;)
5/5 in mood, since the mother part really triggered me a bit :) Keep up the amazing work!
Now that gave me nearly a heart attack but great game. The only thing i was missing is a visual feedback what you have selected. Good job!
Additive gameplay, great music and art! Interesting to see that playing golf makes your family happy :D
I like the crispy UI and the art of the hand! I also haven't seen anything like that before! Good work!
Fantastic! Original idea and nicely implemented. I had some trouble noticing my action's consequences though.
Enjoyed the game a lot! Very unique style that I haven't seen here before. I made it twice to Day 04 because all shops were red and the trucks (2) couldn't unload. Here are two things I've seen: On day two a truck already underway was reset - or maybe I wasn't paying attention. Maybe get the cash on truck destination arrival rather than when the truck has returned?
Definitely a learning experience for the player (+1 for innovation because of this) and something to think about! Cool game, I like it!
Just watched your timelapse and checked your homepage. I can tell you are an experienced game programmer/designer and very professional in your approach. I like it. That's all I wanted to say because it's not my type of game but I wish you all the best :) Oh yeah, music and graphics are very well-composed!
Wow, great entry! I love the fact you 3D-modeled all this in this short time. The guy's animations are fantastic. I also like the changing speed of the music as it gets messy. What I didn't like is the slow mouse controls. Good job!
Thanks for the mouse sensitivity option. I replayed the postCompo version and that makes he game even more enjoyable for me. I there a key for detaching an item in your hand btw? Oh, and could you please add the blender source files? I also spend hours on end in Blender for my game and I like your art style. Totally understand if you couldn't, although it would be against the rules :P
@jharler Greatly appreciate the blender files. Thank you!
Played on my Vive and was impressed! Very polished for a VR game in two days. I hope you can continue to work on it!? I also made a VR game here but it's not that polished :) Well done!
Great presentation and fun game! I agree with tuism that pressing E to pick things up slows down the game because you have to stop moving. +1 for the food variety and +1 for the burps. Nice job!
You nailed the looks of the game perfectly because everyone has a reference in their heads. The only thing I had troubles with was to know where the packages should go because I couldn't see the numbers.
Instant reminder of FTL and I loved every bit of your game! Very hard to get into especially if you are looking to quickly play and rate a few games. It's very deep and complex and I will come back to play it when I have more time :) I couldn't figure out how to get new canisters when I scrapped them because the magnet wouldn't collect. But I might have misunderstood what to do when getting hit by an asteroid!
Version 0.0.3 archive is damaged too :(
Man, still broken. Creating a valid zip file really should be the easiest part. You can test that, too, you know?
Well-rounded game and just a great entry! The music really moved me deeply but unfortunately I am too bad at this. Could work on smartphones as well. Just the right art and scope for casual players but at the same time difficult enough to spend a lot of time with it.
A toggle to pull would be bad indeed. Maybe "Dragging" would help? No idea, haven't made a mobile game yet.
@Sciman101 Thank you! I am working on some improvements and another level. Also I will try making the movement non-snapping although I hope players can still see that their space is getting smaller. Like the frog in the frying pan ;-)
@Balazs-SakerGames Thanks for trying it out even without a headset!
@Horun Thanks! You are right, that should avoid the problems coming with putting an object into a moving object. That would add some extra fear, too, since you cannot see how far away the wall is. Great idea!
@cachodragon Thanks for testing in VR. I am working on the next level and see how it goes.
@team-on Cool that you tried it nevertheless. Thank you!
@jharler The game has only one puzzle wall so the game ended basically after the congratulations screen. I am working on another one with some improvements. I agree that VR somehow seems natural to make fear-inducing games (which I actually can't play because of this) especially using that "Running out of space"-theme. So it was kind of obvious to me to make a VR game that shrinks your playing area. Thank you for your time and feedback!
@agentparsec Thanks for your feedback on the piece textures. I am still not sure which way this should go visually. Stone, metal, goo or whatever :) The original idea was to make it space-like so lots of plastic and leight-weight metal. I am also working on the next puzzle wall.
@local-minimum Thanks for testing it out w/ keyboard and mouse. Things seem to not work really well without VR so I changed the game's description. Appreciate the thorough feedback on the issues and glad you liked the description and story!
@saoi-games Hey! Thanks a lot for your great feedback!
The original version had two levels. One level with two pieces, the other one with 4 triangle pieces. The post-LD version has three.
Sorry for letting you trip over physical objects in your room! I tried to design the room as small as possible without being uncomfortable. Maybe a recenter function would have helped? That's a new idea to make both sides move. Downside is having a moving object behind you which personally I don't like.
You are right about the game-starting interaction. In the post-LD version I made the first level entirely without moving walls. You can now even pick up a space helmet and look around in your surroundings first.
The game sound I added in the post-LD version has pretty much what you suggested. Screeching metal sounds for the moving wall, audio feedback when inserting pieces into their spaces and a sci-fi'ish ambient music that gets faster as the wall comes closer. I really had the most fun selecting sounds and music while playing the game as you said!
Thanks again for your time! If you have any VR apps you would like to have feedback on, let me know!
Awesome game! I would like to see an improved balancing for costs/effectiveness of buildings but overall a very pleasant experience worth playing multiple times.
Pretty cool idea and nice to play. Adding a story to the game really made a difference!
Actually one of the funnier games I have played here! I like the randomness of the level and the sounds are pretty funny too! Good job and all the best for your dev career :)
Loved the music, so catchy. I liked the end screen, too. I coudln't pick up the sniper rifle or the shotty although seemingly I had enough space.
I like the idea of taking earth's population as an example and I absolutely understand the humorous intent behind the idea. However, if you want to bring this to a bigger audience, be careful with advertising with "eliminating" certain sexual orientations. Do it more subtle. You have some starting points with condoms etc. Not that I take this personally, it's just some advice from a marketing (and a bit moral) perspective!
Great idea and execution! The only thing I would consider is that the reduction of personal space gets triggered right when the object falls off the shelf rather than leaving the screen. I managed to clear the shelf a few times but because of that I lost the game nevertheless.

Very polished looks, the font fits perfectly. Also small details like the character's shadow are great. The left-right-kick combo is very fun! But as others mentioned here, it makes the game a bit static and the controls fall a bit behind the overall presentation. Good job!
