LD42 — Running out of space

Full Stack Combat by RetroSpecter 2018-08-14T03:05:23Z

That was an awesome game! Loved the combat mechanics. Hope to see it more fleshed out at a later date

Crate Job Simulator by hadesfury 2018-08-14T03:12:26Z

The voxel graphics suited it really well. It would be nice to have a notification of when the crate required had changed, only noticed it after the A crates stopped working. Also if the driving sound was tweaked a little quieter it would be nice. Really fun game regardless though!

No More Spacers by xero560 2018-08-14T01:45:47Z

It looks nice, but I can't really tell what is happening most of the time. UI for my character was pretty hard to see with all the light going on

Space Ninja by Bernhard 2018-08-14T02:36:58Z

It's a fun game! I had to take a second to understand exactly how the controls worked, but it was all good after that.

The Kessler Problem by catbutt 2018-08-14T02:44:23Z

High scores were a nice surprise. Felt pretty lost until I saw that you could enabled the trajectories. Fun game overall!

Sniggle: Savior of Snugs by Iamsodarncool 2018-08-14T07:26:54Z

The graphics were really neat. I'm assuming hand drawn? Good use of it!

LectureRush by FooMar 2018-08-14T01:30:41Z

Really nice mechanics, I did find it hard to focus on the left and right at the same time. But fun game nonetheless!

20000 Leaks Under the Sea by webthingee 2018-08-14T01:17:22Z

I have to agree with everyone else, Audio and Graphics really suited each other! Controls were clear, but I did feel as though sometimes it was a bit easy, contrary to everyone else

Surrounded by Traffle 2018-08-14T06:23:28Z

Really nice mechanic of the enemies dying and staying, resulting in less space

L: An Interactive Mystery by Cercle 2018-08-14T21:15:33Z

I am stuck on getting the password for the notes app, damn. But this is fantastic story. Really nice gameplay and voice acting. One thing I could see was that first button used Unity's default UI text which gets so blurry, text mesh pro is nicer :smile:

L: An Interactive Mystery by Cercle 2018-08-14T22:14:30Z

@grahhhhhhhhh Any hints? :smile:

Delete After Reading by AndrewW 2018-08-14T02:53:19Z

Really good visuals! I got stuck on that 2nd mission for a bit, but a good level of difficulty

Judged! by LarrySeinfeld 2018-08-14T01:25:21Z

The voices were great. Mechanics as well, seemed pretty balanced to me. I made the mistake of not fining high enough and only making it to day 18

Spaced Out by Roidz 2018-08-14T01:53:36Z

The visuals were awesome! Everything really fit together. Nice FX when ship dies too. And I liked the mechanics of a growing ship

Storage Overflow by Andreas Roschal 2018-08-14T01:38:07Z

This a fun game! Seems balanced from what i played with it. The graphics also mesh well with each other. Didn't seem too hectic, but i can imagine it would be later in the game!

Grimder by CraigDuth 2018-08-14T00:27:38Z

@zachw136 would loved to have built for an iPhone, but can't release the packages without the app store :(

Grimder by CraigDuth 2018-08-14T01:00:33Z

@pennycook We can release for web once I've fixed the UI up so it scales well for widescreen :smile: @scott-purcival So the meters are filled with the difference between good and bad if you send them to the wrong place. Each trait has a value and adding them all up gives us whether they're good or bad. So if they're 5 good and 2 bad and you send them to hell, then it'll add 3 to hell. And yes! It's just our ideas of what good and bad is, nothing concrete! Most are just humourous :smile:

@adultlink Done! :smile_cat:

@lynn-young @gao-ming Thank you!

@zachw136 @pennycook We now have a windows version on the itch.io page!

Only Space by Jake Barter 2018-08-14T00:07:04Z

There's a lot of tutorial pages. And I kinda got lost in the map before walking towards a red door and getting sucked out into space. But cool idea!

Headspace by Jaydek 2018-08-14T00:22:24Z

This is reallll similar to Blackthornprod's endless runner tutorials

Space Invasion by Nam Nguyen 2018-08-14T07:40:05Z

I see some blackthornprod influence here, but you definitely made the game it's own. Nice mechanics and camera movement!

Monkey Beat by Zangold 2018-08-14T00:40:17Z

I found it hilarious. Super hard though

Space Escape by Sigmath Bits 2018-08-14T07:30:34Z

I really like the character sprite/animations that you've made. Good use of running out of space too!

Cavern Crawl by SpoopsMcGee 2018-08-14T02:02:04Z

I get pushed through walls! Perhaps some continuous collision detection on the character?

Cavern Crawl by SpoopsMcGee 2018-08-14T02:22:24Z

@spoopsmcgee Under the rigidbody component for the character there is a Collision Detection variable with a dropdown, if you set it to continuous it might help!
