It's a fun game! I had to take a second to understand exactly how the controls worked, but it was all good after that.

Nice game, love the simple but challenging mechanics.

Nice game, Love how everything is balanced! Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam! Game Link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42a

Can't say I didn't like this one! The idea is cool, and the solar systems and shadow casting planets are very well done. Strengths were definitely the atmosphere (it's oddly immersive actually) and innovation. I also appreciate you stayed with only 3 levels and thus made it easy to finish the game.

The only thing that could need some improvement imho is the physics / controls. Steering the spaceship is somewhat daunting and not very rewarding - even though probably physically sound. Having less inertia, and more control over where you're going, would probably make for a more enjoyable experience.

Also kudos for using LÖVE, and even making it playable in web. Good work. :)

@rahim-pxr your link isn't quite right, I guess it should be https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/spacelab-42 (without the a).

The controls were difficult to get the hang of but the idea behind it and the light damaging your ship was a real nice mechanic to make a simple use of the theme to a much higher level. The music is lovely and chilling, very well done indeed :)
