Apr 16 01:36:18 WORD EXORCIST ♥ 1 I really liked the way the spoken/grumbled word and the darkness set the tone! I felt the constant rate of the words approaching was a little less exciting than I wanted it to be, but the falling behind and every once in a while getting a clear was nice!
Apr 16 01:41:31 5m 13s Wizard Battle ♥ 3 What a cute little game! I liked the way you translated the monster summoning onto a more physical field, with the marching order type thing. I did have some trouble figuring out the exact way the automatic actions were determined. I'm not much a card game player - even a little cheat sheet of the numbers would be super nice!
Apr 16 01:46:32 5m 01s Billy's Bargain ♥ 1 What a cool idea! I found the Q/E cycling a bit unpredictable at times and wanted for a mouse interface, but it was really cool using cheap little guys to lure guards away from my strongest goblins!
Apr 16 01:54:03 7m 31s The Children of the Hand ♥ 2 Really funky game, I love the weird models! I had kind of a hard time figuring out what was going on at first. Once I did I found most battles pretty trivial. My shop also got stuck with all one kind of monster at one point. With a bit more development I think this kind of creature combining battler could be cool!
Apr 16 02:11:19 17m 16s Eternal Ascent : Road to 7 ♥ 1 I got to floor seven! At first I felt kind of frustrated with the small differences, but later having finished it, I realized the differences weren't usually that small, I just didn't know what normal was. So I think if I have anything to say about this, it would be it's good to show what normal is if you're asking to spot the difference. Kind of thought provoking in that way, good job!
Apr 17 09:36:11 31h 24m Pilgrim's Path ♥ 3 Really cute game! I wish there was deeper/more useful cardplay! I found the management pretty cool, but the enemy wasn't super aggressive, and I didn't have to be aggressive. I really liked it for the chillness, but I think with a little tweaking to those aspects it could be super interesting!
Apr 17 09:37:49 1m 38s Wrath of Wrathmus ♥ 1 It took me a sec to get the mechanics, but it was really cool! The ending was a really cool twist. I feel like running into the body doing damage didn't add a ton, it just made me be kind of overly-precise with my movement. I think even that would have been fine if the movement was a little snappier. Overall good job!
Apr 17 09:40:51 3m 02s Throes of the Javelin ♥ 3 Really cool game! I tried at first to play with a controller, but I felt the game didn't play great with a controller. The right stick motion had to be a bit too precise for me, and jump on RB felt kind of weird. On M+K it was great though! I'm not quite sure if I hit the end. I found a big room with tons of collectables, but it seemed like a dead end, and I couldn't get far enough back. The movement was super fun, I was surprised at its flexibility! I really liked the in-air momentum stuff a lot. The on-the-ground momentum stuff killed me a lot, I think that stuff more or less just adds a layer of frustration to the game, and not really of puzzling or platforming to me. Overall super fun game - let me know if I found the real end!
Apr 17 09:42:42 1m 51s Blood Rite ♥ 4 Really fun twist on several things! It took me a moment to figure out how blood was tracked - I think having the box with the rat icon tracking points kind of confused me. Overall really fun!
Apr 17 09:44:31 1m 49s Pitchfork Pandemonium ♥ 2 Feels a lot like an old flash game I used to play called "Age of War", really fun! I really wanted my dudes to wait and double-back instead of running off screen, but I suppose that's maybe just something I needed to get used to. I really liked the variety in units, but it felt like most of the time the basic skeleton was the most effective unit given you had the time. Overall good job, I hope to see this one polished up!
Apr 17 09:46:27 1m 56s Demonic Panic ♥ 3 Very good survivors type game, I really liked the use of circling to summon things! I got on the leaderboard as of time of posting, it was super fun! I feel like there were a few times I got surprised by getting hit, I know the enemy's projectiles are a different color, but it'd be nice to make them stand out even more.
Apr 17 09:48:53 2m 26s Phasebound ♥ 1 Really cool concept! I beat the game on stream, and had a lot of fun! I liked a lot more the levels with interesting puzzling than hard platforming. I felt the harder platforming around the phasing felt a bit weird, I had to time jumps in relation to my un-phasing, and time phasing with relation to jumps, and it was all a bit stressful. People who are better at platformers probably loved that! Just kinda a me thing. Overall great job!
Apr 17 09:51:05 2m 12s Shapes of Light ♥ 4 I really enjoyed the strategy of the game, but felt the animations made it take a bit longer than I'd have wanted. A fast-forward button would be great! I thought the action economy was a bit weird, I wanted to summon things, but often the better move was to just wait and kill the enemies myself. Once I figured out all of the enemies the tactical battling was quite fun. Good job overall.
Apr 17 09:52:42 1m 37s Salmoning ♥ 5 I wanted the unicycle!!! Had a lot of fun playing with all of the options in the game - so many of the keys did something! Doing deliveries in first person mode was pretty sick, but the 9999 price tag on the unicycle proved a bit too steep for my fingers. Loved all of the silly bloopers in the world too, great job!
Apr 18 03:57:46 18h 05m Horrors from Beyond - The Bayou ♥ 2 Interesting little horror game. I was unsure about how scary the water was supposed to be initially. Figuring out how the things worked together was interesting. I thought the boss as the end was a cool little twist.
Apr 18 04:03:33 5m 47s Midnight Mage ♥ 1 The controls were a bit difficult for me. My mouse didn't lock to the center of the screen, and getting out of the spell casting mode was a bit weird while in full screen. I really liked the feel of the play once I was able to get the fires going and stuff, but getting there was a bit difficult.
Apr 18 04:12:56 9m 23s 🐛Centibleed & The Necropods🩸 ♥ 1 I really enjoyed that. I suppose it wasn't super deep, but oh my god when I got the guns it was so satisfying. Very cool!
Apr 18 04:24:39 11m 43s Sigil ♥ 1 Really cute little game. I got to level 6 and couldn't figure out the puzzle. I'm not totally sure if it was under specified or just too dense for me. The concept was really cool though! I wish there were more of the mid-range difficulty puzzles before the really hard ones.
Apr 18 04:31:12 6m 33s My Little Demons ♥ 2 I liked the variety of monsters you could summon to make your way through levels! I found the SFX a bit much on many retries, the ability to turn that down separately from music would be appreciated. I really liked the interplay between different monsters.
Apr 18 04:41:32 10m 20s Shrine garden: saved by the bell ♥ 3 Got 695! Great job, really cool idea executed pretty well. I think with a little reduction in jank around dashing it'd be super super fun. As is I played like three games chasing high scores, so it's pretty solid!
Apr 18 04:53:35 12m 03s Realm Rumble! ♥ 2 Really cool combination of type advantage with mobile tower defense!? Kind of a lot going on! I mostly just wanted a "fast forward" button, because of type matchups I ended up using a lot of whales. Overall good job!
Apr 18 05:07:09 13m 34s The Salmoning ♥ 1 I enjoyed salmoning, but didn't really seem to get the game. It seemed like I only lost stamina while hitting things, and could never really get far enough over to eat. Anyway, I had fun going fast!
Apr 18 05:17:49 10m 40s Aliens vs. Undead ♥ 1 Really unique idea, I liked the twist on summoning compared to all of the other games. Once I got to the really strong aliens I kind of struggled, getting the skulls bunched up and not dying was pretty hard. Overall well done, and the juice and everything was really nice!
Apr 18 05:30:16 12m 27s Phasmophile ♥ 2 Mouse sensitivity just seemed a little lop-sided between the camera movement and the cursor movement. The idea was really cool, but initially I couldn't figure out what "in the correct order on the corners of the pentagram" meant. Eventually I figured it out, and I was super shook by the ghostie. Great job overall, even with the little rough edges!
Apr 18 05:37:00 6m 44s Drawn to Summon ♥ 2 Yeah that's just kinda really solid. Did you do something do disable drawing tablets? I pulled mine out ready to draw a unicorn and it didn't work, it took me like three tries to get not-a-horse.
Apr 18 05:44:40 7m 40s The Summoners ♥ 1 I wasn't really sure what was going on, but I beat the boss. I think the game shined on the low enemy-count scenarios due to the bug, but it was pretty cool there!
Apr 18 06:06:18 21m 38s Riot in Hell ♥ 2 Interesting concept! I thing I figured out how the game's played, but had a bit of trouble pushing to the final econ building. I had everything fully upgraded but my units just died too fast!
Apr 18 06:14:09 7m 51s Against the Titan ♥ 1 Well, despite my best efforts I summoned a fish! I found it really hard once I had both the light and dark arrows, really mind bending. Not too difficult I think, just something I had to get used to. Really cool!
Apr 18 06:24:03 9m 54s Furriend: A Paw-some Summoning Odyssey ♥ 2 Really cute little puzzle game! I share the issues with differentiating the dog and cat, especially their circles, but that's fairly small. I really liked the chill mood!
Apr 18 06:29:38 5m 35s Summoning Ritual ♥ 2 Woah. Combining the tiny little bits of platforming with the bits of narrative was a wild experience, didn't really expect it to have that kind of effect. Even that the platforming wasn't very difficult didn't really matter, just the mood of the levels tied in well. Great job!
Apr 18 06:37:35 7m 57s Unsummoner's Saga: Disaster in the Village ♥ 2 The art was really cute! I feel like with the length of the dialogue, more straightforward answers would have been nice. It *was* really funny though. Good job overall!
Apr 18 06:45:26 7m 51s Depths of Hell ♥ 1 Interesting summoning shooter. I agree with the poster above, a movement ability would really make this shine!
Apr 18 07:22:48 37m 22s Golem Guardians ♥ 3 I feel like I got overwhelmed pretty quickly. I didn't see a ton of reason to switch between units, but the fire dude was pretty cool! I liked the music as well!
Apr 19 05:04:40 21h 41m Bone Train - For Ludum Dare 55 ♥ 1 What a funky mood with the content and the music and stuff. Cool game!
May 3 08:26:18 339h 21m Summoner's Siege ♥ 0 I really liked the art style! I found the gameplay a bit clumsy with the controls, the set of inputs for pulling out the summon menu and finally summoning didn't feel smooth on the keyboard. I thought the mobile tower defense stuff was really cool overall!
May 3 08:30:04 3m 46s Manku the Magician ♥ 1 Really really cute game! I played this on stream, I wasn't super good at it! I felt the hand being a bit slow made it hard to pull off the thing where you knock the bucket off the bunny, which I really wanted to do! Overall really really well-polished though, good job!
May 3 08:32:52 2m 48s Asmodeus Web Summons ♥ 0 I enjoyed the little recipe book. I like to think I figured it out, but it was pretty puzzling at first!
May 3 08:38:26 5m 34s Invocation: Valdis ♥ 0 I feel like having a bit of a difficulty curve would be beneficial. The runes were pretty foreign to me, and I didn't have a way to get used to them before being asked to remember six of them! I won a couple of times, but it was pretty mind-bending.
May 3 08:40:44 2m 18s Path of Aratron ♥ 1 You made me program for fun - I usually do this in text! Really cool little game, it's cool how it kind of teaches you repeated application of a function to some small bit of state.
May 3 08:56:21 15m 37s He Who Sleeps ♥ 1 What a funky little game. I thought the way the pixel art "flowed" through the screen because of the filtered non-pixel perfect camera was really interesting. I enjoyed the escalation in the story. Good job!
May 3 08:57:35 1m 14s Doodle Summoner ♥ 0 I really enjoyed the drawings of the little dudes! I couldn't figure out why I kept losing fights. I thought I placed enough guys on them, but without the enemy stats I couldn't figure it out quite.
May 3 08:59:15 1m 40s I💰I💎I⚔️I ♥ 1 I really enjoyed the mechanics of the game, but either I was very bad at it or the balance was a bit off, I was very quickly out-scaled by the monsters in all cases. I feel like I didn't have the opportunity to get enough swords in my deck quick enough to start scaling.
May 3 09:01:16 2m 01s Necrogeddon ♥ 1 Really cool feeling game, I really enjoyed the visual style. I got past 7, but at some point the masses of enemies just out-scaled my dudes. Fun time!
May 3 09:03:34 2m 18s The Summoning of Dagan ♥ 1 The game really invoked kind of a less tile based old console game feel to me! Great job on that. I thought the enemies were just as punishing as they would be on the NES - though I'd probably appreciate if they were a bit nicer. I enjoyed the little story, very cool!
May 3 09:05:11 1m 37s Mine-o-Mancer ♥ 0 I really really enjoyed the visuals, but couldn't figure out what to do. I got summons to happen, but they didn't seem to do anything aside from wander around.
May 3 09:06:49 1m 38s Bloody Infection ♥ 0 Really funny mechanics, I really enjoyed summoning fifty little dudes and just riding along with them. It's probably a lack of balance, but it's a lack of balance in a really fun way. Good job!
