Dec 14 01:27:00 32 Days I really liked the mood of the game, and overall it was pretty fun and interesting.

Also wanted to see more levels but, as everyone knows, time constraint means we end up cutting some stuff we'd like to put. You did have a backstory to help with that, and the way you pieced things together (the dialog in the gap between days, etc.) came out pretty nice! The kinda cliffhanger ending was nice too. :)

I really dig the art style, pretty well made, animations are also smooth, the game also feels pretty light and runs really smoothly.

Controls are pretty responsive and work nice and fast. I felt the character was too slow at the beginning, but as it is a test subject, and since I didn't know the "full" setting at the time, I kinda understood it might be some kinda plot device. :P

You always see tons of platformers everywhere, but I don't think it's a bad idea to reuse a genre, there's always space for one more, if you can give it a twist. :)

I kinda got stuck at the 3rd level and had to restart the game, but this is because I tried going to bed by returning in the same path I came from, instead of just jumping, which triggered the clock again. :P

Cheers, and thanks for playing mine too. :D
Dec 14 19:35:00 18h 08m Danger: Mondays Quite challenging, eh? :D And, for the time constraint you had, the result is really good! Whenever I experiment with physics, all I end up with is a square box. :P

The concept, besides challenging, is pretty fun also! There's no sound coming from the guy, but just by playing you can hear him go "oh, no no no no...*phew*...did someone just throw something at me?...DAMN!...".

I found balancing a bit hard in the beginning, but once you start playing, and taking lots of poop baths, you get used to it (and it's pretty quick to get used to it :P).

I wonder how this game would fit a mobile/tablet device, like using the accelerometer to balance and stuff. :P

Good work! Cheers! :D
Dec 15 15:11:00 19h 36m Furry Heist The waves start to get pretty intense, after grenades start to come! Pretty challenging, but it would be good to have some variation, besides just mobs to shoot/avoid, as someone said. :)

Great work on the pixel art and audio! Both fit the game really nicely and set up a nice mood for the game, soundtrack really gives a lot of feeling to this game.

Controls worked pretty well for me, but I missed a crosshair/reticule to help with aiming. Some people, with a not-so-good sight, might have problems aiming with just the mouse cursor. :P
Dec 15 15:38:00 27m 00s Room Service Nice use of the theme! I wonder what would the game be like if, instead of just moving items, you had to manage these pandas's sleep, or if you had to camouflage yourself, or avoid two pandas coming to the room at the same time! :P

Nice graphic style too! I really liked the cartoonish style, really fits the game! :) I miss some audio, though. I think that could add even more to the mood of the game! (Like, you hear the next panda mumbling something when close to the room). :)

Controls worked pretty fine and fast for me, but it took me a few rounds to get the whole how the "next panda" thing worked :P

Good work! Cheers!
Dec 15 19:57:00 4h 19m the beuys are back in town For a first LD, you did pretty good! And it's really something to recreate a performance artist's act. I believe you did a pretty good job recreating the experiment. It looks simple, but it's also deep. :)

I liked the overall style of the graphics. The strings in the soundtrack also really set the mood in the game, nice job with it!

The basic controls are also really good, at first I though the character was a tad slow, but in the end, the way he moves fits the concept more this way.

I felt the pace of the game was a tad slow the first time I played, but it kinda helps you feel a bit of what was like to be in that performance, making the coyote get used to you in there and etc. :)

Great job! :D
Dec 16 00:46:00 4h 49m Poopy R**mba I really love puzzle games like this one! Had great fun in here spreading poo everywhere!

The voxel graphics, coupled with the sound effects, give that 8-bit feeling, which is really nice. :D

Controls also work really nice for me, can't get as simple and better as that. :)

My only complain would be the camera angle, sometimes I don't know if there's a space or not in some places. Maybe it's me, but it kinda confused me a bit. :P

And, first entry? Really? Great work you've done here! Congrats on surviving and submitting! :P

Cheers!
Dec 16 00:56:00 10m 00s Santa's little bin packer Great way to handle the theme and mix up some Christmas spirit in there! :) It's really a nice puzzle game! :D

Loved the way you handled the graphics, both the pixelart and pixelated 3d presents. The audio also helps a lot with the mood!

Gameplay-wise, I think it's just perfect! Simple controls and actions make playing the game really a pleasing experience! :)

Nice work, really! Congrats! :D
Dec 18 07:07:00 54h 11m Dibs: Top Bunk Really fun arcade shooter! :D It has a really nice mood, thanks to the soundtrack, good work with that. :) Nice use of concept of sharing a room and "deciding" on who gets the top bunk in bed! :D

Graphics wise, I really like the style and the theme on each stage but, as some said, a transition could be a nice add-on, to give that feeling of progression. :)

Controls work perfectly, really fast and responsive, which is really important in an action game like this one. :D Though I felt that last bunk was kinda "easier", compared to the second one. :P

Great job! Cheers! :D
Dec 18 18:09:00 11h 02m One room, please! One room, please! *Ding!*

Nice one! Making a simulation game in 3 days is always tough work I believe (I could never imagine myself doing it), so kudos for that! :)

I really liked the presentation for the game, really like the polish done in it! Love the title screen and the overall graphics for the rooms, objects and guests.

Sound-wise, I also think you did a really nice job with the soundtrack, the feeling of the song fits the mood nicely, it's a simulation game, but the soundtrack helps with the fun factor, by complimenting the presentation style.

Of course, given the time constraint, it's not always possible to balance the game, some aspects, like the time guest stays in the room, cleaning time, feature-adding, could be more well-balanced, but that's fine. :P

It gets really challenging later on, once you get the hangs of how things work. I did have a LOT of customers get mad because I was adding too much or cleaning too much in the beginning. :P

Good job! Cheers!
Dec 18 18:20:00 11m 00s One Room Cat I really like the visual style! It really helps set the mood, together with the soundtrack you chose to complement the game. :)

Controls respond nicely, but the movement, I believe, needs a bit of adjustment, specially in the room with moving platforms. It's the only part where I got stuck in the game, and also fell out of the room in there. :P

The overall concept is really nice, a journey through time in one room, which also a good take on the theme. If you can balance controls a bit more, and give a bit more depth into the story (specially the mouse interactions), you've got a really nice story-driven game to go! :)

Good work! Cheers!
Dec 18 18:37:00 17m 00s Jim is Moving Out! Nice take on the theme! Really nice and fun concept for "moving"! :)

The graphics style really fits, and clearly puts the theme up-front, when you first play the game. I really like the simple, silhouette-based, style, since it's quite easy on the eyes, the overall style also gives the game some kind of direct-approach, which I find really good!

I kinda miss some sound effects for the objects/room. The soundtrack REALLY does help bring some tension into the game, but I'd like to see how your take on some music would be. ;) The choice, though, was spot-on! :)

I kinda felt it was hard to go up, specially on the 3rd level, but overall I really liked the play style! I kinda wondered how a mouse control scheme would be for this one! :P

Cheers! Good job! :)
Dec 18 18:50:00 13m 00s Survive the Barbaric Vikings I REALLY love arena-based games! It's also a nice take on the theme! :P

Graphics-wise, I really liked the models for all entities/objects, really nice job with it. I'm missing a lot audio, though, as I believe it would help with the mood in the game. :D

Controls work perfectly, but some visual cue (crosshair, reticule) would help when we get the "pistol".

And, talking about pistol, I thought that the spear was kinda OP at the beginning, but a pistol is way too OP and makes the game quite easy. Making it a crossbow would fit with the theme better. You could also make it so that pistols would fire only a number of rounds before getting damaged/jammed. :)

Also, camera angle, specially when getting closer to the bottom of the screen. I know most people will play in the center part of the room, but once difficulty/waves increase, you should expect that people might have to run a bit more around the room, so managing that would benefit gameplay. :)

But, overall, I really liked the pace of the game, the presentation and visual style!

Great job! Cheers!
Dec 20 10:47:00 39h 57m DISCOCUBE Great take on the theme! Loved it! :) The graphics style really fits the game, the transitions between puzzles are really smooth and sweet! Great work!

Soundtrack really helps set the mood for the game and the sound effects blend in really nice in it! :D

Controls also work perfectly, and having them simple as you made is really a plus for the game!

My only complain would be level balancing/design, as some didn't really feel like puzzle-solving, besided running in circles to get'em done by force. :P Maybe a movement limit? Or some kinda soft-limit like, for example, in Intelligent Qube (PS2)? :)

Overall, really great and relaxing entry! Good work! :)
Dec 20 10:58:00 11m 00s ROOM ZERO An arena shooter with a shapeshifting arena looks and feels really nice and challenging! :) Visual style makes the game feel pretty cool!

Also, game mechanics like limiting the shots, need for recharging and not having the gun shooting while holding the mouse increases the challenge a lot, making it pretty hardcore! Having the shots bounce a bit really helped! :P

Controls are, well, the usual arena shooter ones, and they answer pretty fast, which is really important in the genre.

I miss a LOT of audio though! :/ It does feel good while playing with some electronic sounds, but audio feedback, specially for when ZERO appears, for portals and stuff, would give it a better mood! :)

Nice work nonetheless! It's a great entry! :D
Dec 20 11:15:00 17m 00s How To Cope With Boredom and Loneliness - A Guide For The Isolated - A Documentary Filmmaker Simulator Oh, goodness! This is great! :D Had some great fun playing this one! Really amazing and funny take on the theme!

Everything is so nicely tied up together, it really felt nice playing this point 'n' click game, great mood set up, thanks to the soundtrack, audio bites and the simulated camera! :D

It would be pretty fun if you could make it a whole season! :P Or something like a full game with each episode being about "Loneliness", "Anger" and things like that!

Amazing work, really! It's short, but really enjoyable!
Dec 20 11:52:00 37m 00s Room 753 Nice mood! :O I really liked the concept of the game, though it felt kinda confusing at times. :P Nonetheless, this was a really great experience!

Visual style is great! Simple, but delivers the mood in a really nice way! The glitches really help with the mood, but also help us with the "wait, did the hallway just change?" factor, which really puzzled me. :P

Nice choice of sound effects and elevator music. It kinda creeped me out, tbf. And I kinda expected some scares, which didn't happen, but always find it good when a game creates this kinda expectation!

My complain would be with some of the backwards walking mechanic, since it's needed, you should do something when the player gets close to the elevator, since we kinda get stuck in game. :/

But really, this entry is great! Nice work! Keep going! :D
Dec 24 15:30:00 99h 38m The Archwizard's Room Great game! :D Somehow, I'm not that much of a fan of turn-based stuff because I always feel the pace is slow, but I really liked it. :)

The pixel art looks great, really well done, made me feel like a game I'd play on a GBA, maybe it was the aspect ratio. :P The audio also contributes to that GBA feeling, really nice choice for music and sfx.

Having simplified controls and not much stuff to worry about (items, collectibles, etc.) and having to rely more on wits and simplified mechanics kinda made me feel better playing this one. :) I think that's why I liked it! :D

Great work! :)
Dec 24 15:50:00 20m 00s Loading... Please Wait Haha the voice acting feels like someone who just slept "not enough" while developing the game and tries to sell it to you like "heeeeeeeeey...wazzzzzzzup! I...k-kinda woork..work'd on this game...ehh...it's amazing, y'know? why don't you try itt?..." :P

Love the sense of humor, the way the dev goes "oh, check this while the game loads...eh" and keeps messing around, trying to hold the player, until everything else fails. It actually made me remember some work I did some time ago where, to get time to properly finish, I kinda made the client test EVERY single minimal feature of it (he kinda gave me a tight schedule, so I had him do this to get some extra days :P).

Great entry! Good work! :)
Dec 24 16:01:00 11m 00s TISIC IZIEB Beautiful, well thought and executed! :) I really loved the visual style of the game, movements, the bounciness and the particle effects! Made me feel like playing with a diorama! :)

Nice selection of music and sfx too, it really does fit the concept and help set a nice and relaxing mood to play the game!

Simple controls are also the best for it! Really accessible, simple to play and also challenging! Nice take on the theme too!

Great work! :D
Dec 24 18:09:00 2h 08m Sweet Home The concept is really good, though I feel that the fire spreads kinda too fast, and the player moves kinda too slow (well, I felt kinda slow :/).

The art is really well done, feels a bit like cutout animation, since it uses vector-based sprites. :P Really nice. The audio selection also is really good, really sets the mood for the game. :)

Controls work nice but, as I wrote above, movement is a tad slow, compared to the fire spread rate, though it can also be a challenging factor to the game, which isn't bad at all. ;) One thing I missed was being able to shoot diagonally. :P

Good Work! :D
Dec 24 18:23:00 14m 00s The Lock The concept for this puzzle is really nice and challenging, nice work with the level design! :) Sometimes, it felt that some of the handles didn't work properly (this, or I just didn't fully understand how they work :P).

Visually, it felt like a game from the GB era, which is quite nice, simple, in these cases, is always the best (a whole coloured tileset could confuse some players :P).

Sound-wise, I felt that moving sound was kinda loud, but not a bad choice, it added a lot to the mood of the game! :)

Good work! :)
Dec 26 13:53:00 43h 30m Roomon The concept is really nice, y'know? It kinda felt a bit like Pokemon/Tamagotchi, which are both things I used to like (and still do) a lot.

There's "room" (no pun intended) for a lot of stuff in this game, which is a good thing! Just don't lose track of the concept once you have it! :)

Keep it up! :)
Dec 26 14:49:00 56m 00s RooM The game is quite short, but you have a starting point! :) Overall, the game's fun and really challenging, though I kinda feel that something that engages the player after he exits the room, or different setups for the spikes every time he plays or something else would add more to it. :)

Visually, it has a nice style, but status changes, even if just a single frame, could add more to the visual feedback aspect, and engage the player more. :)

On the audio department, some extra effects, and ambient sounds/music could help set the mood better.

Controls work nice, but a twin-stick/mouse+keyboard would make it feel better playing. The controls feel similar to how Super Stardust plays on the PSP, and I'm not so much of a fan of this (kinda me getting addicted to twin-stick shooters might have influenced that).

But Good Work! :)
Dec 26 15:19:00 30m 00s Chrono Pugna The concept is pretty interesting and fun! Having people from different eras fighting each other to go back feels like some time-travelling-smash-bros game. :P It also has that original "Mario Bros." feeling, thanks to the mobs.

The game's visuals are great! Gotta love the modern cartoon feel of the game, backgrounds changing are really nice too!

Overall the game has a really nice mood! Though I felt that controls (kick, shoot, jump) weren't that responsive, though it didn't take the fun factor of playing it!

Definitely a game to be played with gamepads! :P

Great work!
Dec 26 16:12:00 53m 00s Monolith I really like the room within a room concept for this game! It totally felt like some 16-bit-paper-mario-metroidvania kind of game, nice and challenging too! :)

Pixelart was really well done, for both characters and mobs, minimal UI is also a nice thing too, but somehow I felt it too minimal. :P Having the text that shows when we get the power ups EVERY time we get near the places made me feel a bit like having a Chao telling me what to do in Sonic. :P

The music really helps with the mood in the game, sound FX also fit quite nicely with the overall style! :)

On the controls side, well, they do work great, but punching and dashing made me kinda fall too much from platforms. Camera angles, sometimes, felt like not helping much, specially with platforms closer to the screen.

Overall, the entry was really great! Nice work with it! :D
Dec 26 17:09:00 57m 00s Poultry, Please Visual style is really nice, the pixel art is really well done and the presentation, as a parody of "Papers, Please" really feels nice! :)

Building the lunches and satisfying the clients, or just making hell out of the buttons was really fun! Specially the burger assembly mechanic!

Miss the audio, but it didn't take the fun of the game! :)

Great work! :D
Dec 26 18:43:00 1h 34m ScareBear It really gave me that Yume Nikki feeling, with a bit of Finding Teddy too! :O Really great take on the theme, great concept for a game, also really well executed! :)

The graphics are beautiful, really well made and everything's so well pieced together, like the room changing mechanic.

On the audio dept., really well done music and sfx, the music really helps set the mood in the game, and bring a distinct, yet cohesive, feeling for each change.

Controls are responsive and work really nice for me in here!

Amazing work, Congrats! :D
Dec 26 18:58:00 15m 00s Will you exit ? First of all, congrats on your first LD! Sometimes it can get pretty difficult to finish your first ideas, but you got past that! :)

I felt, though, that the game lacks a bit of challenge, since all mobs follow a predefined path, it kinda takes of the challenge of the game, though it still feels challenging to finish!

I had some really tough time with the blinking doors, where I'd die every single time I got close to them. It feels kinda frustrating, so checking the player's hitbox for this collision might help.

The graphics are nicely done, having that 8-bit style, remembered me of some DOS games I played when I was a kid (and some from Ultima on GB :P). The key's lighting effect is great and it add a nice touch to the game. :)

Controls work perfectly, are simple and pretty accessible, so it's pretty good! :D

Missing on the audio dept., though, as it could help give the game a better mood and feeling.

But really, great work to You! And, again, Congratz on your first LD! :3
Dec 26 19:07:00 9m 00s One Room Congrats on your first LD! :D

The concept is really interesting, having this zooming out from each part of the same room mechanic is really nice! The graphics are also really well done too! Nice work on the models and levels! :)

Having that zoom out and fly-over mechanic after the end of each level, though, takes some of the challenge, specially on the last level. Maybe you could just zoom out from the level into a small part of the next one, but keeping the fog.

Work on audio is really nice, though the level passed sound doesn't feel like it fits completely into the game. It gives too much of a contrast with the game's proposal. :P

Controls work nicely and responsive, but it kinda felt slow at the beginning, until I checked that shift enables you to run. :P

Anyway, Great Work! Congratulations! Keep it up! :3
Dec 26 19:37:00 30m 00s BreakAround The concept of a 3D arkanoid/breakout style game feels pretty interesting, though this one kinda feels better for VR gameplay.

Graphically, it's well executed and it works like a charm, games like these doesn't need overly complex graphics, it gets the message right.

The game, though, feels way more suited to VR/Cardboard than mouse controls, and even more keyboard, as both feel quite strange to play with, specially since most of the time it feels like controlling a static turret. :P

Anyway, really challenging! :) If you can work on it and polish more stuff, I'm sure you'll make it pretty interesting and even more challenging! :D
Dec 27 12:27:00 16h 50m Room One Visually, the game looks beautiful, the models and daylight cycle are really well done, though after some time it still has the lagging problem (at least for me).

It does have an interesting concept, felt a bit like a space-age harvest moon on a small scale, but gameplay feels a bit slow. Like, the day/night cycle passes too quickly while walking to places feels hard.

Also, the computer menu is really hard to exit, as the checkmark's collision box is too precise. :P

Overall, I think it's a good game, but needs optimization, specially if you want to reach a broader audience. ;)

Cheers!
Dec 27 13:02:00 35m 00s Walkie Talkie Technically, it's beautiful! Every single message becoming a level is great! :D Quite innovative too!

Depending on the screen size, levels feel a bit small, but it's ok, I believe. :P As for the theme, single-room chat windows fits quite well the concept for the game, as well as the title. :)

Having a timer and also the necessity of finishing the level before being published is also really nice to avoid people spamming, though every now and then some weird stuff might come out. :P

Controls for platforming feel really nice! They respond quickly and playing feels quite good, and not so slippery.

Great work! :)
Dec 29 02:02:00 37h 00m Spellbound Oh, that ending! :D I didn't expect that at all! Nice take on the theme too, reaching the end was kinda satisfying, but kinda not-so-clear, but has a good progress. :D

Graphics are nice, really well done, looks beautiful and has the right mood for the game! Music is also really a great point of the game, it adds even more to the mood, really fitting for the theme. :P

Controls work nice, but firing takes too long! Firing one at a time kinda makes the pace of the game feel too slow, specially when you miss a fireball.

Overall, really good! Good work! :)
Dec 30 04:03:00 26h 01m Cyborg Ninja Training Room Really fun! It's really challenging, though I felt that the shurikens were a bit sparse. :P

Visually it's nicely done! Having the mobs and player have an outline really helps distinguish objects/foes and also give the game a nice, kinda pixelated-cartoonish look (well...that's what I think :P).

Controls work really nice, respond quite fast for playing. My issue with the game, besides the shuriken thing and some things people have pointed out (enemy projectiles, hit feedback) is that, during the first few levels, I couldn't feel "progression" at all. They look like they share the same blueprint. It changed when the missile guys started to spawn, though.

Really nice entry! Congrats! :D
Dec 30 04:13:00 10m 00s Vine Story Really fun, nice and unique! I didn't get the vine controls right away, but after I understood, it was really challenging! :)

I loved how you put the progression and how the level was designed, really great work in there!

Visuals also rock! Nice work on the graphics! Together with the music, they give that really chill mood! Well done in both!

Cheers!
Dec 30 04:27:00 14m 00s Good Impression DUDE! This is SO FUN! XD That feeling of urgency, running around like crazy tidying up everything for a surprise visit! It's so much fun (when doesn't happen in real life, at least). :)

Great work on the pixel art, animations are great, overall art is beautiful! The work done in the audio, effects and soundtrack is also superb, really fit well! :)

My only complain is some of the interactions, since I often dropped stuff on the ground or couldn't pick things up right away. But it's just a minor thing.

Nice work! :D
Dec 30 04:36:00 9m 00s Geometry Encounters First of all, congrats on your entry! :) When I was 14 I was way more interested in playing than making, so you're doing it right from the start! :P

The idea is quite nice, an asteroids-like arena shooter, the game runs quite smoothly and that's great! :) The mix between old-school vector graphics with the background is nice! Though having more contrast for the ships would help some people play (specially some with color-blindness problems ;P).

Gameplay is good, controls respond pretty fast, but the game feels too challenging right from the start. Try to put some progression in-game, so the player feels the challenge build-up, not dropping over him right away. :)

Great work, keep making games! :3
Dec 30 05:07:00 31m 00s Utility Station OR-152 Whoa, so much in this game! :O You really made a simulation game with lots of features, eh? Kinda different from most entries I've played, feels static at first, but it drags you in and it's kinda addictive!

Visuals are really well-done, background, control panel and ships, really great work there! Audio adds up to the mood in a great way, gives a real nice sci-fi feeling! :)

Controls are simple, but it's great to have'em like that! :D

I kinda didn't feel difficulty increasing, but with all the features in game, it'd be kinda difficult to squeeze everything inside! :P

Great work!
Jan 1 11:58:00 54h 51m Shrunken Oh, first of all, congrats on your first LD! :) First ideas never come as we want'em to, but you got a fine concept there! :D

Switching from platforming to top-down was a nice touch, visually the game looks nice too, though visual cues and audio would help set the mood and make the game more accessible.

On the platforming room, it's possible to get out of the room and not come back (if you go all the way to the top and jump left). :P

Keep making games, don't stop! :)
Jan 1 12:17:00 19m 00s The Cell Remembered me of old school point'n click adventures! Looks and feels really nice! :D Great mood, thanks to the graphics and soundtrack! Nice choice you made here. :)

Runs nicely, but if another application pops something up, it kinda breaks the game and I have to close/open the game again to play.

Pretty challenging and well thought progress too! Congrats on making it! :D
Jan 1 12:23:00 6m 00s Skip Work! Nice entry! The game kinda escalates too quickly when spawning coworkers and the boss, but nice challenge! Though, if you go straight to the clock, sometimes, it's by far the easiest way. :P

Graphics look cute and with the soundtrack you used for the game, it sets a really nice mood, kinda casual and fun! :)

Nice work there!
Jan 1 12:28:00 5m 00s The Coward Simple and fun, full of humor! :D Kinda felt that the music gave it a casual vibe. :)

The concept is really nice and fun, and it gets pretty challenging after portals start to appear. Some of the villager's quotes are really nice! (Null Reference!!! :P)

Well thought game! :) Congrats!
Jan 1 12:34:00 6m 00s Box Shooter The idea is pretty fun! And visually, it kinda felt a bit like Tron! :P Wonder if that's how you feel if arena shooters become full 3D. :P

Controls work great, but an autorifle could pump some more action into the game (and add that tension of not shooting by accident :P).

Great entry! Nice work! :)
Jan 1 12:38:00 4m 00s Scrap Reavers Nice and simple, direct-to-the-point, good work there! :) Missing a restart button, though! :P Soundtrack also gives a nice, fast-paced, mood to the game. Great choice!

Controls work nicely, but using a WASD setup would be more conventional for most people, specially because of how you set change weapons and mute keys. :P

Keep making games! Cheers!
Jan 1 12:43:00 5m 00s Zomploder The game has a nice pace, but it felt too fast for me! :P Zombies come too quickly and it's really hard to get health packs, I kinda tried getting some, but so many zombies made it impossible. :P

Controls work great, but for arena shooters, something more automatic feels better. :)

If you can balance the zombie spawning and controls, it'll make the game nicer to most people. Visual HP bar would help a bit too! :)

Cheers!
Jan 1 12:58:00 15m 00s Time Passes The theme is really nice, kinda touching to me, specially since my grandma's having memory problems and, before dying, my grandpa had the same problems. :/

I really liked how you wrote the game, options and all, visually it's simple, but fits the game and, together with the soundtrack, completes the mood. Also, really nice making the OST more distorted as time passes! :)

Great entry! Nice work! Keep going!
Jan 1 13:05:00 7m 00s StompKid's Nightmare Land Nice work on the visuals and music! Both complete each other and set up a really nice mood! :)

Gameplay it's really good, but it feels too challenging though :P, killing the blobs was kinda hard, before the ghoul came floating around, if you can balance this, it'll be more accessible, I believe.

Cheers, Great work! :)
Jan 1 13:12:00 7m 00s Do a Tidy The game felt a bit difficult to play, specially since controls aren't much clear. The concept, though, is pretty nice.
Jan 1 13:15:00 3m 00s Contrapti0n Kinda different take on the theme, really nice, simple and charming! :) Some more instructions on how to use controls would be great, but it's pretty nice to play already! :D

Good work!
Jan 1 13:31:00 16m 00s Robotron: Reloaded Loved the game, the concept, the action! :) Really well made, great level design! :)

Graphics, music and sound effects complete each other so much, it's beautiful! :O But sometimes WASD + Arrows kinda fail here.

Also, try to put the smartbomb on another key, as people that uses keyboards in other languages might have trouble. :P Mine is ";", for example (ABNT2, brazilian portuguese keyboard).

Nice work! Cheers!
Jan 1 13:38:00 7m 00s Throne Room Nice one! I kinda cracked at some questions here. :P Feels nice to take decisions without knowing the outcome and, suddenly, everything ends! :P

Nice take on the theme, on the title too! Graphics are simple, but they convey what you mean and it goes pretty nice with the soundtrack too!

Nice work! :)
Jan 1 13:42:00 4m 00s Abominable Visuals and music are really great! Nice work on both! It gives off a nice mood! :D

"Do *anything* with an Axe" sounds really cool to me! :P

It's a shame you couldn't finish, but it's great to see what you did until the end! :) Inventory looks really cool to me! :D

Great work there!
Jan 1 13:45:00 3m 00s ClutterRunner The concept is pretty cool and nice! Congrats on making it! :)

Missing some music/sfx. They could give off a better mood for the game. :P

Also, it ends too fast! :O
Jan 2 02:22:00 12h 37m He took my job away Took a bit to figure out what's the deal with the game, but once I understood everything, the game felt quite challenging! :) Kinda hard to throw stuff, not because of controls, but because of floor navigation, but the concept's pretty fun!

Visuals look pretty nice, the tetris pieces textures are a nice little touch, but I miss audio. I'm sure it would've added a lot in terms of mood and humor. :P

Cheers and congrats! :)
Jan 2 02:52:00 30m 00s Herboto The mix between a crop management and arena shooter feels really nice and interesting! :) Feels kinda challenging, with some general balance will become even better, but it's pretty fun!

Visuals are pretty consistent and are really well thought, simple and beautiful. It's a shame that you couldn't put audio, but I'm pretty sure they'd help make a real nice mood for the game! :D

Great work, congrats! :D
Jan 2 03:01:00 9m 00s Flat Zombies!!! The game feels pretty fun, and visually it looks great! Congrats on this one! Great models and animations, the room also looks beautiful. I miss sound a lot on this one, though. :/

Also, thanks to the mechanic of not dying, it kinda made me feel like the game doesn't have a clear objective, kinda felt more casual and took a bit of the fun/challenging factor.

Polish these details, balance the game and I'm pretty sure you'll have an even more great game than in here! :D!
Jan 2 08:40:00 5h 39m Tank battle(for lack of a better name) The concept is quite nice, but the sound is kinda loud in here! Some things aren't that clear though, as people said, like the crates, enemies taking a bit long to die, bouncing off walls, visual feedback for when you die too. :P

It's a nice take on a twin stick shooter, but as an action game, it needs more visual cues so the player knows what happens. Playing feels fun when you get how things work, but more clues! :)

Keep making! :D
Jan 2 09:24:00 44m 00s LudumDojo Initially, I was kinda confused about controls, but once I got it, it was pretty fun and challenging to play! :) You really got the right mood for the game, and I had my share of fun trying to beat the high score! Nice take on the theme too! :P

My only note about the game would be some of the japanese text. It adds a nice touch to the game, for real, but the "Parried" text I'm pretty sure spells "Parade". :)

Overall, great entry! :D
Jan 2 09:35:00 11m 00s breaker Quite interesting mechanics, I had some really nice "Eureka!" moments, but some jumps are really kinda hard to get. :P

The idea about using the flashlight is great! But some platforms could have a larger base, so it's easier to jump. :P

You got the right mood there, sir! Good work!
Jan 2 09:45:00 10m 00s CULLARENA Nice concept, but the game felt a bit random to me the first time I've played. :P

Visually, it looks nice and funny, and you also got the right mood for the game.

I couldn't see much difference on difficulty levels, though. :/

Nice work overall! :D
Jan 2 09:54:00 9m 00s The Kendy murder Visually, the game's ok. But it's still very raw as a game.

First thing I did in the game was opening the suspects window, but I didn't know how to get out of it so I could explore. So when I restarted and started clicking around, I found about the spacebar use for this.

I wouldn't say it's terrible, it lacks polish. The idea's good, the concept's good too.

Congrats on submitting your first entry! Don't stop making games! :D
Jan 2 10:00:00 6m 00s Sound Crush The concept is really nice, having objects synchronized to the beat is really sweet! Nice work on the audio too!

The game felt kinda confusing to me at first. I also didn't get why we're collecting the balls. It's more of a survival game instead of a collecting one. :P

Nice work though! :)
Jan 2 10:21:00 21m 00s Treatment Room One The game felt kinda confusing to me at first, but it's a great concept! The main story is quite serious too, and it's a nice take on it.

Having the game switch from 2D to 3D was a nice touch too! The way you handled the theme was also light and easy to get.

This Dr. was just crazy! :O Electric shock therapy never worked, never will! :(

Good work there! :D
Jan 2 10:27:00 6m 00s Endless Oh, nice take on the theme! It feels kinda unbalanced, but I think it's a nice way to handle the theme! And it has the right mood too! :)

But I think it's better if you add progression little by little, instead of tossing that light level right in 3rd :P

Cheers! :D
Jan 2 11:23:00 56m 00s Faster Chef The concept is quite nice, but the difficulty level is just too high, having to scroll, purchase, make and deliver. :P

Graphics are simple, but nice, though I think that more stuff, to make it feel more like a kitchen, would be nicer. :)
Jan 2 11:44:00 21m 00s One Reason to Escape The concept is nice! :) I kinda got one ending and got a bit lost on what to do, but I found it really nice! :D

The sketchy graphics, with that background sound makes up for a nice mood! Kinda sinister sometimes! :P

Nice work! :D
Jan 2 11:50:00 6m 00s Plastic Patton Really reminded me of Army Men! :P Feels really nice to play, though I feel that the camera angle sometimes isn't friendly enough. :/

Nice, challenging, visuals are really nice and the soundtrack you've chosen really fits the game! :D

Congrats! :)
Jan 2 11:58:00 8m 00s Tick Tack Shoot First of all, congrats on your first entry! :) Beginning is always hard, we don't know how to handle some stuff, but it's nice that you've finished and published! Keep going! :)

I'm missing some audio feedback, which I believe is quite important, specially on arena shooters like this one. Some visual feedback and UI is required too.

You made the player blink when he's hit, you have a life counter, but how much each hit take, how many hits the player can take before dying? This is an important thing. :)

On controls, I feel that 8-way movement is better for this style of game. Tank/RE style movement is kinda confusing to most people, so this one's to make the game more accessible. :)

Anyway, pretty nice for your first entry! Keep at it! Never stop making! :D
Jan 2 12:14:00 16m 00s The Barn The game looks neat, and quite polished, apart from some bugs. Having a small guide with controls would be nice, as it took too long to discover the inventory.

Nice work on the barn and, also, on setting the atmosphere of the game. Really nice mood! :D
Jan 2 12:32:00 18m 00s RoomClimb Really nice and beautiful! Nice work on the room! :D Kinda challenging to jump on the lights, but too challenging! :P

Graphics are beautiful, though I found it a bit too dark, audio creates an amazing atmosphere and completes the package in a really nice and relaxing way! :)

Great project! :)
Jan 2 12:42:00 10m 00s Fistlinger Really nice, fast-paced and full of action! :O But I think arrows to punch/shoot don't feel that nice in these types of arena-based games. I prefer a twin-stick approach in these cases. :)

Starts to get chaotic after some time! Really challenging too! :P

Nice work on the soundtrack, it really helps get that action-brawler feeling! :D
Jan 2 12:49:00 7m 00s Gravity Heroes Beautiful pixel art and great animations! They both form a beautiful combination! :P It does give that action/platformer vibe, which is pretty fun, really challenging too!

Controls kinda made me feel a bit confused when playing. The gravity switching mechanism felt like a bit too much, but all controls are really responsive! :D

Great work! :)
Jan 2 12:59:00 10m 00s Roomckey Nice entry, it's simple but fun! :) Making the puck a bit more distinct than the players would improve a bit more, specially for colorblind people (as some might confuse the right player with the puck).

Adding some soundtrack or background sounds could improve the mood and overall feeling, but on 4 hours, well it came out pretty good! :)

Good work!
Jan 2 13:31:00 32m 00s Tiny World Whoa, looks and plays really nice! Quite challenging too! :D

Nice work on the 3D environment, models and overall art. :) Intro cinematic and overall story of the game was pretty good! I'm quite delighted at it!

Nice work on the audio dept. too! Though I felt that the intro song didn't fit much the game as the main game's soundtrack. :P Controls felt a bit delayed sometimes, but didn't interfere with gameplay that much.

Every now and then, the climbable books on the end of the room disappeared from view. :P

Cheers, great work!
Jan 2 13:42:00 11m 00s One RestRoom, Please!!! Oh boy, I peed so much I kinda gave up trying to find a bathroom! :P It was hard to spot the sign.

Gameplay-wise, it's really good, controls work great and it has humor and a nice mood! :) Soundtrack kinda made me feel a bit relaxed while playing! :P
Jan 2 13:53:00 11m 00s NPPTF - Nuclear Power Plant Training Facility Pretty fun, though I'm not that much of a fan of the RTFM aesthetic :P

I kinda felt a bit lost in the game, specially when I had to play the run and jump mini-game, as the jump button didn't work properly (keyboard kinda interferes with most things :P).

Graphics and sound are really nice! You've got a nice mood for the game there! :)

Cheers!
Jan 2 14:07:00 14m 00s Box: A Short Story Nice mood there, audio helps a lot in this case! :) The story's a bit sad, and I kinda got stuck without knowing what to do. :/

Anyway, the concept for the game is really a good one, but sometimes you can get stuck badly. :P

Good work there! :D
Jan 2 14:18:00 11m 00s Witching Morning Nice and cute! It's so short though! :P It took me a while to get all endings (didn't realize about jumping on the wardrobe), but I did get all endings in the end! :)

The graphics are beautiful and really well made! The base concept of the game's also pretty good and you've a pretty great mood there! :D

Controls are also pretty responsive and work nicely once you get the hangs of it! :)

Congrats!
Jan 2 14:27:00 9m 00s Death Room Art is beautiful! :O Really well done! Audio also helps set the mood for the game and has that "prepare for action" feeling that's so good! :)

Controls are simple, but really nice to play. Feels pretty good! :P The engine sound, though, I felt a bit loud.
Jan 2 14:50:00 23m 00s Room of Slimes Dude, this is quite addictive! :D Really nice take on the theme, the game's really good and has a lot of potential, if you take the time to balance stuff like prices, add more perks and enemies! :)

The graphics are really nice and the ost/sfx really fits the game and set up a great mood!

Congrats! Cheers! :)
Jan 2 15:02:00 12m 00s Refuge Visually, it looks beautiful! Nice work on the pixelart there! The fire animation's also really nice too! :)

It's a shame you couldn't finish the game, but I hope you manage to turn it into a full game! :)

Good work!
Jan 2 15:08:00 6m 00s One Room One Bomb One Minute It's a pretty nice little game! Even though it's simple, it looks nice! :)

The soundtrack is really nice and relaxing, but the tank's running sfx kinda annoyed me. Maybe lowering the volume a bit?

I kinda discovered that you can get A's in all levels if you just hold down, you don't even have to get the bomb! Better check that! ;P

Cheers!
Jan 2 15:23:00 15m 00s Making Things Okay Quite fun playing it! :) Feels really relaxing to play the game! The cartoon style kinda reminded me a bit about the Meatly, but it's really well done!

Soundtrack really sets a pretty calm mood, and sweeping doesn't feel tiring at all. :P Controls felt quite intuitive for me too. :3

Nice one!
Jan 2 15:26:00 3m 00s Room Builder The game looks pretty nice, but it's to challenging! :P Kinda hard to kill, repair and build stuff there!

Visuals look pretty nice and the music is fitting too! :D
Jan 2 18:27:00 3h 01m The Chore Really cool, love the lowpoly graphics! :) The soundtrack also really helps set a calm and relaxing mood for the game! :P Pretty short, though, but nice! :D

I also really liked all the endings and overall story of the game.

Some visual feedback for clickable items and time until the other person comes back would be good, though. :3

Nice work! Cheers!
Jan 2 18:44:00 17m 00s Me, Myself And The Room Looks really cool and feels a bit like some click'n point games like Myst for me. :P The soundtrack is also pretty relaxing.

As a non-native english speaker, I sometimes have problems when games like this one don't have subtitles, but this one's pretty clear and the voiceovers are really easy to understand. :)

Good work there!
Jan 2 18:51:00 7m 00s INFINIROOM Really fun, kinda addictive and pretty challenging too! And nice take on the theme! :D Didn't expect to see an infinite runner here in one room, but plays really nice! :)

The pixelart is really cool, animation is also pretty well done and the soundtrack really gets you in the mood! Controls are simple, but perfect, and pretty responsive!

Good job there! :D
Jan 2 20:28:00 1h 37m 0.25 Whoa, trippy! :O But also fun! It was really mind wrecking sometimes, but it really gives you that feeling of accomplishment when you advance. :)

Graphics are really cool and sound really helps with the mood! :)

Great work! :D
Jan 2 20:40:00 12m 00s Cozy Christmas Village Really nice simulation game! The pixel art looks really cute. The fact that the game happens on top of a table, and that the currency is all a few dollars and cents is really nice and well wrapped up! :P

For a compo project, this is really amazing work! :)
Jan 2 20:54:00 14m 00s Fish.zip Really amazing concept for a puzzle, kinda got me stuck, wanting for more levels! Keep at it and don't stop! :)

Graphics look really nice and fun, audio sometimes made me feel annoyed, but is really nice! :)

Great work on this game!
Jan 2 21:02:00 8m 00s Smallest Dungeon Whoa, this one's REALLY GREAT! Lots of fun playing it! It looks cute, really well-polished and wrapped up! :D

The graphics are just cute, and so well-done, and you did so much stuff! Sound and soundtrack, specially, made the game really feel great! :3 Just brilliant!

Controls are simple, but that's what makes it fun and accessible! Great work there!
Jan 2 21:10:00 8m 00s Live to Die Again Really fun, action-packed and fast-paced! Loved it! It reminded me a lot of Nuclear Throne (don't know if this was the intention), but it's really well-done! :)

The graphics style, together with the soundtrack, fit very well together and the overall result is a great game. Some polish here and there might help the game become even more fun, but it's already a pretty nice entry! :D
Jan 2 21:58:00 48m 00s Starlight Whoa, this one's brilliant! After reading all the logs, I kinda expected that ending, but it was really fun to get there!

Low poly graphics are amazing, really beautiful, and the atmosphere you've created was awesome. Consoles and interactive screens through the ship really helped with immersion, command system is great too! :)

Amazing work for the compo! :O
Jan 2 22:53:00 55m 00s Heroes of Okarine The sprites are really well done! Nice animations for player and mobs. Overall pixel art is really nice! The soundtrack choice really adds a nice touch to the game! :)

The controls, albeit simple, are functional, though I felt a bit of delay when punching. :P Also, you can get stuck on platforms (well, I did to the side of one) and this might not be desired for this type of game, unless you plan on adding a hanging from ledge action later. :P

Overall, the game's pretty nice and fun! Nice work there! :)
Jan 2 23:18:00 25m 00s Spacedoor Really liked the way you handled the captains' silhouette there. Overall graphics look really cool and the atmosphere built by the visual style + sounds is really great, the mood is really sinister there! :)

Instakill captain was kinda well, quick. :P I kinda expected some jumpscare, but it's really nice anyway!

Great entry! Congrats! :D
Jan 2 23:32:00 14m 00s Shadow Fencer Theatre The concept of the game's really nice, great take on the one room theme too! I really dig the shadow puppetry style of the game, feels really good and it's pretty well-made! Nice work on that!

Audio effects are really fitting too, as well as controls! :) It would've been fun to see another hand handling the sword, to have that feeling of two people really "dueling", but it's really nice already! :)

Congrats, and Nice Work! :)
Jan 2 23:59:00 27m 00s Rent for 30 seconds Really nice and fun! Graphics and audio fit so well, and made me feel so satisfied! Watching the guests brawling was pretty fun too! Managed to get a 4.0 rating. :P

The game mechanic is really well written, easy to play and quite fun to watch! :)

Great work! :D
Jan 3 00:00:00 1m 00s Dungeon Slimes Oh, nice! That was some fun! A tabletop-like RPG eh? Nice take on the theme, lots of humour, nice story too! :)

The controls work pretty nice too! Though blue slimes offer quite a challenge! :P After they split into red slimes you've got to spam the attack button a lot, and even then you risk dying. :P

Overall, the game has a nice atmosphere, really great! :)
Jan 3 00:07:00 7m 00s Your first room After a few moments, I kinda realized what the theme was, but it was a really nice game to play! :) A great take on the theme!

It's simple to play, visually simple, but satifying and has some nice audio to complete the mood! Sometimes control felt kinda buggy, and I couldn't reach one or other nutrient ball, but that didn't interfere with the experience.

Good work there! :D
Jan 3 00:30:00 23m 00s Ludum Dare: The Game This is so addictive! XD I loved it! The pixelart is beautiful, and the soundtrack is amazing, it really gave the game some great feeling!

And I could never manage to make all of this under 48 hours, so really amazing work with game mechanics too! It was really fun allocating time to proper make a game, something I can never properly do in real life! :P

It would be pretty fun to have a "jam" version too! :P

Congrats! :)
Jan 3 00:50:00 20m 00s Henry Snackleworth's Weird Day At first, I thought it was just plain impossible to finish this, but it's one of those games where, after you beat your first boss, you really get pumped up for more! :)

The visuals look really nice, and the soundtrack really helps set the mood within battles.

Good work there! :D
Jan 3 00:59:00 9m 00s Arena 3000 The idea's pretty fun, and the game's challenging factor starts to go up quite fast here. But I liked how the game progressed, and how waves came out. Though I died far too much with those trident guys. :P Audio really fits the game, the style and concept you've chosen for your game.

For this type of genre, I prefer to have a twin-stick mechanic for shooting. I know it adopts a classic style for shooting, etc., maybe I kinda got too used to twin-stick shooters :P.

Great work, nice one for compo! :)
Jan 3 01:07:00 8m 00s One room Ninja The graphics are really well done! Those wood textures are beautiful! :O

Controls I found a bit slow, but they didn't interfere with the overall experience of the game! :)

Really nice the way you introduced progress through the game, by increasing the difficulty of the room!

Good work! :)
Jan 3 01:12:00 5m 00s Pixel King Hahaha "No" *game closes*! Kinda nice and challenging, the Owl was impossible to kill! :P Great work on the pixel art!

The game feels a bit difficult after the second boss, and controls feel like they need a bit more polish, but the game offers a nice challenge already.

I think, though, that the user interface kinda lacks a bit. Just having hearts and no indicators at the top is kinda, well, confusing. :P
Jan 3 01:20:00 8m 00s Chrome Room Really fun and addictive! This one's totally a mobile/tablet type of game! Though on PC it also feels so good to play! :P

The soundtrack is also really relaxing and, if you add the kinda minimalistic, but pretty stylish graphics, it completes the relaxing pack! :)
Jan 3 01:27:00 7m 00s Don't Stop Me Nice work on the graphics! The game's also really cool to play! Though I felt that the game ends quite quickly, as it's really challenging to load the computer, manage the windows and shoot the aliens! :P

Good work there! :)
