I lost most my lives on stage 7 - are the big bots immune to normal shots on that one? Little unfair to switch things up like that w/ no warning. When I finally made it through stage 9 did me in.
Nice complete entry, the chiptunes are really catchy.
Good game! Reminds me of some other old game...
Damn robots killed me!!!
Cool game! The "clear or stand clear" round was very clever. I did finish and found the ultimate prize!!
Nice animations and feel, but it quickly becomes unfair when they start surrounding you!
@batmansb keep trying. The hints help. You just have to break away from the circle.
A twin-stick game is always a classic and with the upbeat music it keeps it lively but buy menu every round feels like it is slowing it down once the player gets in the groove. The screen transitions are quite nice!
Unfortunately it felt more of a remake of 2084 rather then a game that can stand on its own. Don't get me wrong the buy menu is a good upgrade but a good upgrade to 2084. In my eyes Robotron: Reloaded stands too close to Robotron 2084 and falls into clone territory. The sprites are 90% identical and the indestructible hulks are the exact same sprite with the only difference being white arms. (I wish I could upload my side by side comparison for other to see)
Credits list game is different then what is stated in compo entry (what did zack and rubert work on?)
Source code is also not currently available and is a requirement for the Compo.

Very well executed twin-stick shooter, but I just couldn't handle the spawners.
I am unable to update my above comment, Source Code was added :)

Love the music, small puzzle or trick levels are a nice addition to the formula.

Really good game, some upgrades I didn't note the difference (didn't got all of them), it's a hard game but I like it.
Awesome game, remember me of old school classics.

I don't know what the / ket is on my keyboard :/ i loved the music and the overall game though, too bad i missed out on the extra fun...also a bit confusing that the shop menu was usable with mouse instead of keyboard :P

Very solid game, had a lot of fun with it! I felt like the sound effects could have used some more variety. Don't have much other complaints, otherwise. Definitely goes for the old-school feel, and succeeds in it.

Loved the game, the concept, the action! :) Really well made, great level design! :)
Graphics, music and sound effects complete each other so much, it's beautiful! :O But sometimes WASD + Arrows kinda fail here.
Also, try to put the smartbomb on another key, as people that uses keyboards in other languages might have trouble. :P Mine is ";", for example (ABNT2, brazilian portuguese keyboard).
Nice work! Cheers!
Very fun and polished game, I loved the intro with the music introducing.
Great entry.
Completely polished retro design.
However it seems like you have kept some kind debugging feature in the game: As soon as I press 2 the game over screen shows.
