Great, boys!
I liked to play.
Kisses and congratulations!
Parabens GIB!!! Fazendo um otimo trabalho...Muito legal o jogo e o graficos excelente!!! Não consegui chegar ao final ainda...porem a historia ta otima. Parabens!
Very good and innovative game!! Really like the levels 3D models and style and the story for this idea of game was very creative too! Couldnt complete tha game yet and i think the game could have some others challengs too, like an animal chasing you time from time (a cat or a bigger mouse perhaps) but the game is still fun, congrats!
Thank you Pat, Mvieira... That's incredible milestone for us. Thx for play :)
Asturk, great ideas hahaha It really can be so funny... Thx for play and share your feedback.
Really well done! The graphics are very impressive, especially for such a short time frame, and the unique perspective is a great mechanic for the game. Be careful with your UI sizing - anchor points that stretch on large elements like backgrounds and stay fixed on elements like menu items or text can help keep the display consistent on nonstandard resolutions. Overall, excellent work!
Not really my kind of game, but it still had me trying for that high shelf a few times...
I will say, it's kind of jarring to happen upon a surface that's climbable. They should be more clearly displayed somehow.
Pretty fun. I got 15 molecules before getting stuck on one of the water container things under a desk, and I couldn't move or jump to get out: http://i.imgur.com/D2ZwXxp.png
Sounds and music worked well, and the laboratory was impressively large. Good use of the theme. Also, nice job with the intro cutscene! I do wish that the laboratory was a bit more colorful and cluttered, like a Katamari Damacy or Chibi Robo level.
The climbing was a bit weird, and I didn't like how you had to spend a lot of time if you fell off of something. The platforming was pretty fun, although the controls could have been a bit tighter. Also, the FOV was very narrow for my tastes.
This really wasn't bad! When you have to hold sprint for 90% of the game, though, you probably should have swapped it around so that sprinting was your natural movement speed, and shift slowed you down.
There also wasn't really any sort of indication on how to finish. I had all 30 molecules by about 10 minutes in, but then spent another 8 minutes trying to figure out how to ultimately finish. Got there eventually, though.
Well done, though, considering the time frame!
Very good setting and story, and nice job having a clear objective of what to do. Right away you're running around, grabbing those molecules :P I did get stuck on some objects when I tried jumping on them occasionally, and the climbing was a bit tricky to get used to. But nice work for one weekend :P
I really wish there was a clear indicator of which surfaces are climbable. Great work otherwise!
Everyone, THANK'S FOR THE FEEDBACK!!!
You guys who help us to be better in our games! thank you again!!!
About the coments, the original idea was to have this indications(mentioned by @crazya and others) in the texture of the objects, but for the short time we only use materials without textures, but this feature is underway in a version after LD, as well as coliders, corrected bugs and messages indicating the path and the win factor.
Really nice! I had a really hard time understanding climbable surfaces. The art is awesome, you made a lot in such short time. Overall the game is really fun and great use of the environment.
Ran like crap on my computer, but was pretty interesting. Seemed quite faithful to a scientific setting, which is rare!
nice modelling of the environment and great music.
Nice work! I like the idea, can definitely see a lot of potential here for a good platformer experience. The controls need a little bit of tightening up but its a good start!
I like the look and sound of the game, but it loaded the instructions and then froze (twice) :(
Nice work, man! Very hard too!
GIB!
@sacredseedstudio, press "E" in the instructions
Awesome work with a lot of details, cool intro and clear objective. I wish that the player character moves a bit faster with smaller steps, adds up to the "miniature" experience.
Fun game to play. The game is really well done, there were just few bugs, once I got stuck near the bottles/containers and the second time I couldn't climb up the green object. Overall nice game. Keep it up!
I was really really enjoying this until I got stuck. I somehow wedged myself between the cleaning supply and couldn't leave. 9/30 molecules web version (since I'm on OSX)
Fun game! I'm impressed you were able to get so many things into a jam game, footsteps, mouselook, menus, etc. Some of the interactions are a little janky. I had a lot of trouble climbing the trash can or whatever to get off the floor. After falling the second time I couldn't get back up. I like that there are puzzles and not just running around to collect stuff. Very nice entry!
I like the idea here, and it does present some interesting platforming challenges. However, the controls feel off, especially when climbing, and it is often unclear what you can and can't climb. Adding an indicator for that would help the game's playability.
Good game!
Thank you for all for feedbacks.
@MrTroy, please try new OSX version.
Great graphics, a little slow on my computer. The shrinking is cool. I had funny floating books, maybe they are bugs. I'm bad at platforming, so my score is 8.
Wow, the quality of the graphics is actually surprisingly good, especially considering the time frame! Props to Gustavo for music too!
Although I'm not exactly into that sort of games and my computer had some serious issues with performance, I still had fun playing it though I didn't figure out how to climb to the upper parts of the level and eventually got stuck in texture :p (but kinda bugged into it, so don't really consider it game's fault). And as someone mentioned earlier the controls do feel a bit weird. Also when I pressed "retry" the game froze and stopped running :c
Overall it's a nice little game! Good job guys and keep it up!
really solid entry. it must have took you ages to model all of that shit. good job!
Really good stuff! I wasn't able to understand how to climb up certain things, and after about 7 minutes it started to get boring because I really wasn't making any progress, but the graphics are really good! Even though the game is laggy and the textures are twitchy, the atmosphere is very good! Nicely done!
Thank you for your feedback. I replayed the version 1.0.3, couldn't finish the game but I found an easterEgg. Great experience.
Gah! Fetch quests! My mortal enemy!
Had a lot of funny bugs happening in the game. For example, pushing some books off the desk led to them floating off in the nether, without allowing me to platform my way up. Also, the box just flew as I jumped right next to it. I had to repeat these segments twice for that.
There were a lot of jarring parts I'm not entirely sure worked as well. Any climbing sections, for example, felt sudden, as if I teleported there. This was very disorienting to experience. I couldn't see my legs, either, making it hard to judge a lot of jumps. Fortunately, the level was accommodating for that lack of information, but more would have helped. The E command came in suddenly when I least expected it, and the results were not immediately obvious. I thought the balance beam to the center table was always there (rather than being placed there by my actions).
I think a lot of polishes could be made to create a more cohesive experience. And hopefully rely a lot less on collecting things.
Did it say five minutes and then give me 20? :)
Nice entry.
Good game. Nice graphics and sound. Need indicator of which surfaces are climbable.
KaiseanGames, it's black friday, ahaha!
Just kidding!
We're working to replace the text! Thanks for feedback!
Ygogo, you're right! In the next two updates, we'll fix this! :D
Thanks!
Is there only the one way back up to the main (exterior wall) section if you fall? I couldn't find any other way up, and couldn't find a way onto the center table at all. Seems harsh punishment, doing the same section several times because I fell, got trapped in a sink, or missed a molecule while falling is not super fun :(
Seems like it could be pretty fun if expanded, maybe with shortcuts you can activate (like dropping a box off a high ledge so you can get back easier if you fall) - I didn't encounter anything like that, so if that is in the game please correct me and I'll give it another shot :P
I got stuck when I fell into the sink...
Amazing game overall!
Nice story! The game reminds me my years in college. About the game the controls on the keyboard feel a bit messy, maybe for the sensitivity of the mouse. The jumps sometimes feel impossible to achieve. Good work!
I like this type of games, and Idea drive you to collect all in time.
There is many things that can be included, but I think for LD is perfect.
Keep going and I thing this project can grow up.
Good graphics, good sound and fun game. Congrats for this entry
Good game. I also got some memories restored.
Whoa, looks and plays really nice! Quite challenging too! :D
Nice work on the 3D environment, models and overall art. :) Intro cinematic and overall story of the game was pretty good! I'm quite delighted at it!
Nice work on the audio dept. too! Though I felt that the intro song didn't fit much the game as the main game's soundtrack. :P Controls felt a bit delayed sometimes, but didn't interfere with gameplay that much.
Every now and then, the climbable books on the end of the room disappeared from view. :P
Cheers, great work!
Nice entry! I had a good time collecting molecules :D
Really neat idea! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/jorB_de2Urk
