LD25 — You are the Villain

The Crown Jewels Job by Will Edwards 2012-12-21T07:54:00

Ambitious, but as has been said above, the basic mechanics felt wrong. It was hard to figure out what was solid. Multiple places would look the same but interact differently. The editor was neat, but the game is what I rated.

Mothership: The Sequel by youdonotexist 2012-12-19T07:51:00

I enjoyed the idea of the draw line mechanic, but it felt to slow to use. Maybe that is just me though. Otherwise I enjoyed the variety and progression of the enemies. Oh, and the health packs weren't clear the first time I encountered them.

Black Was Sad by eventhandler 2012-12-18T00:26:00

Solid game. I like the idea of Dora's shunned color. There must be a plethora of other, unhappy, shunned items in Backpack....

For the love of the king by FlowerPower 2012-12-17T08:36:00

Surprisingly fun as a test of mouse clicking endurance. If you can get past the early waves, don't convert everyone to nobles as you cannot restock producers.... With the right balance gigantic swaths of cash are available. Games running in another window and my 625 nobles with their 1000 arrows are up to just broke 100,000,000 They will soon starve though with only 3998 stock left.... 229941 dead at the message...
I had no sound, but I'm not sure if there is anything to hear... left it as N/A.

Revenge of the goats by kewry 2012-12-17T10:09:00

Liked it although I never lost a battle. I'm not even sure if you can. After the second town I had 125% on slaughter.

HA!HA!HA! by KEFIR 2012-12-21T08:01:00

I enjoyed the opening and the general premise. However, once I had sent out my agents the game quickly ended up as a waiting game while the agents either got detained or blew something up. The last half of my game experience was just waiting for the police to kill me since my 6 remaining agents were all standing around with cops instead of doing anything. That said, I enjoyed trying again a few times to see how many buildings I could get before that point.

Prison Break! by tnch4_ 2012-12-17T09:26:00

I really liked the "stand-back" feature. The levels and the fact that the guards don't shoot means that you can just find a spot and hold space until your quota is sitting on the ground.

(Don't) Save Christmas by infernet89 2012-12-19T08:30:00

I enjoyed the humor but the gameplay was awkward. The shots and explosions went rather slow and the gun gave no indication of its status. (reloading etc....) Otherwise, I liked the idea of loosing by making kids happy.

Young Villain by Rubel 2012-12-19T07:43:00

This is extremely impressive for the 48 hour limit. My only complaint was the seeming lack of a way to restart. Had to reload a few times before I could really enjoy it since I lost... got caught early while learning. Thank you.

Infected by SeriousCreeper 2012-12-17T09:05:00

I only get a download message for Unity Web Player. Already have it installed.....

The Path of Evil by atraxgames 2012-12-21T08:13:00

Nice beginning. Ya, lots of bugs. I'll be interested to see the final version.

Who cares Fairplay? by bukt 2012-12-19T07:36:00

I liked the idea and most of the gameplay, but there didn't feel like there was anything other than pure luck at play. There were a number of times that I would place a unit and they would ignore the next car to go by, even when the car was a length or two away when placed. That got frustrating. But I did enjoy the idea of hiring corrupt cops to adjust your chances in the ranking.

Victor Grozny by DustyStylus 2012-12-17T10:23:00

Keyboard input for the dials would have helped. Or sliders instead of knobs. Mice just don't like to go in circles. (At least mine doesn't....)

Demons in Dungeons by blay09 2012-12-17T09:18:00

Not sure if this game is hard or just short on feedback. But it looks like a lot of effort was put in. With the tweaks Gemberkoekje mentioned, this could be really fun.

Sunday by Cy4n1d 2012-12-17T10:27:00

Fun, but no actual challenge. I'm curious what kind of obstacle you could add.

Trade Persuasion by Mezzomatto 2012-12-19T08:06:00

Impressive for such a short time with your tools. While playing, I was wondering about the shield and carrier spawns. It seemed like a tactics thing. You had to chose between defeating the carrier or getting the shields. So, fun game. I liked it even if my mouse is now mad at me for tapping it so much.

Spot Colony by 2DArray 2012-12-18T01:53:00

I didn't understand the point until I remembered the theme. The I really enjoyed burning it all.... Not a lot of strategy needed, but fun.

Artificial Incompetence by Tigerbot 2012-12-18T02:01:00

I like the concept and some of the mini-games were nice. I agree with the repetitiveness comments.

Conquer the World by nathanj439 2012-12-18T01:48:00

Found my best was either all skeletons (71 days) or all skeletons for the first level then dragons beyond. (69-70 days. Accidentally restarted before I read it.)

Aliens from outer space! by svenardo 2012-12-19T08:57:00

I liked peeling off from my brethren and showing what a single invader could do.

Balloon Frenzy 4: Turbo Edition by theRestlessTaxidermists 2012-12-18T00:42:00

Had a fun "ah-ha" moment when I understood the backwards screen. Great concept, great reactions. Hope you expand the game play portion. It'd be fun to have them (able to) make progress.

You are the boss by Vladp995 2012-12-21T08:08:00

Fun game. Only notes are that with the mouse fire it felt like I should be able to mouse aim, and the unstoppable attack from the hero felt cheap.

Noble Weapon by Meep 2012-12-19T08:20:00

I liked the powers being tied to the princesses. AS has been said, it'd be nice to see other levels and it was extremely hard to dodge the heroes due to the level design. I liked the tornado the most, I actually found myself avoiding some of the princesses (blue mostly) at times so I could keep my current ability.

Invaders by huhwhozat 2012-12-21T08:24:00

Fun concept. Well done for the time frame. I echo PIXEL^3. One other thing, maybe its just my memory, but I think the original army had to cross the entire screen no matter how wide they were.

In Flames by SuperSausageDog 2012-12-19T09:09:00

I liked the strategy involved in planning your escape route. Once I accidently tossed a match early and had to adjust for the auto throw. (Which is a cool feature.) I did have a bug where my character would get stuck going in a direction even though I had released the key. I lost two rounds to that. Rather frustrating.

No rest for the wicked. by Jonathan Whiting 2012-12-19T08:52:00

Ok, so for anyone else baffled by what the rules are, here's what I found:
-Walking on a Green Block changes it to Red.
-Heros (The sword guys) walking on Red Blocks will change them to Green.
-Hitting a Green Block with a pellet destroys it
-Hitting a Red Block with a pellet adds a Red Block
-Each time you hit an enemy with a pellet they transform.
-Bunnies <-> Killer Bunnies. (With huge sharp .... )
-Heros <-> Worms.
-Monster bunnies eat everything, you too.
-Monster bunnies sometimes spawn more normal bunnies after eating. (I think, only saw this once)

I found no way to "win"

I enjoyed this one.

Feed the Towers by FinalMirage 2012-12-18T00:36:00

I like the concept, but it could use some balance. There is no benefit to spawning anything other than the lowest level creeps since the income payoff is so disparate. The goat was cute.

Zombies vs. Survivors TAKE OVER THE CITY by bushmango 2012-12-19T07:23:00

The idea of only partial control over the zombies was interesting. I like the concept of trying to infect the rest.

Just kill Stuff by RipX 2012-12-17T09:45:00

Aggravatingly hard on some levels. But I guess that fits the theme too.... Love the graphic when you pass a level.

Dig-Dug Dungeon by bigbadwofl 2012-12-19T09:39:00

I really enjoyed tunneling up to the enemy bases. I also had the slowdown issue. I was using Chrome. It went away after a fight. Right before it seemed that half my (so 12-ish) guys were attempting to engage two heroes through the wall. Both my guys and the heroes seemed to have seen each other and would not move. Not sure if that helps, but I hope it does.
