this game is HARD that being said, i really liked it. I will probably come back after the jam and try to win.

I thought the main gameplay loop was too slow. Unclear what the end goal is. It does look pretty, though.
dude this game is awesome. the puzzles are accessible, the reactor mechanic timer works well, and it doesn't waste my time. good work!
it was a meditative experience until i flipped my car
thank you for this masterpiece
these are the kinds of games i wish i knew how to make
sick art style, but i don't understand the main gameplay loop. I can type the words but nothing happens. When i press backspace to fix a mistake in typing, that freezes the game so i had to avoid that
you have an EXTREMELY solid foundation for a cool speedrun-type game. Nice work!
I wish the timer screen wasn't so large. It was really distracting.
Also i've got to know what SHITnJEANS means.
Okay so this game wasn't intuitive the first few times i played it, but there's a really neat tower defense strategy game in here once you figure it out.
The goal (i think) is _really_ to try to beat the game in as few waves as possible (at least that's how i interpreted it). And after a few tries I was able to clear it in 8 after playing with different tower configurations.
I think enemies come at you wayyy to fast in the early game, it's really frustrating to get yourself acclimated to how it works when you lose within a few seconds of starting the game, but it's worth it if you stick around.
very fun. Only serious complaint is that i wish the fences gave a little bit more indication as to how how damaged they were (other than flashing)
So! this is a really really really neat concept for a game.
But I think it's impossible for a person to look ahead more than five or six states into the future when planning what their next move will be.
wonderful game. Is there a goal I'm working toward or is it endless?
holy CRAP this game is cool. Once you understand the move mechanic it's very clever. well done!
this game is an AVANT GARDE WORK OF ART and more importantly my anime wife was REALLY HOT and the dialogue was somehow better than every other game i've played so far so basically what im saying is
nice
I like it! But it gets real hard really quick. Can anyone get a score higher than, like, 50?
Okay, so this is basically the best game I've played so far. I am surprised the other commenters aren't as hyped as I am.
The graphics are AMAZING. The platforming is a little floaty, but nothing unmanageable. The sound kicks ass. I really really really wanted to finish the game (I even found the $500 door!) but I didn't because of these two level design "flaws" (even though the level design was otherwise awesome!)
In the second to last (maybe third to last room) there's a jump you have to make down a hole where you're flanked by two lasers. This jump is VERY HARD to make without the teleporter grenades.
I almost gave up because I kept bumping into the lasers on my way down or on the initial leap. I had to try about a dozen times. This was mitigated when I found the teleporter grenade on my second go around.
Now, it's clear once you have the teleporter grenade that you can get to the $500 door from the first room, but man, I cannot predictably throw that thing at all. I found it would either not make it past the double laser barrier, or worse, it would get stuck in between. Combine this with the idea that making it to the 500 door is not easy and I just gave up.
You're still gonna get a great rating from me, but I just wanted to let you know about some things you could do (in my opinion!!!!) to get your game from great to flawless.
this game is stylized to all hell. Extremely distinct. nice. Even though the ai doesn't work, this is seriously impressive for one developer.
Always refreshing to see a 3d game. Played well, looked good. I thought the main music loop was nice at first but got annoying after a while.
I absolutely lost it when my frog exploded into a mess of blood. Simple and addicting, nice work
The game looks and plays wonderfully. I didn't have the patience to finish the second level, but clearly a lot of thought was put into nearly all aspects of the game. well done.
I love the concept! I think the game is too fast paced though. I read the instructions but still didn't really understand what was going on until i played the game a few times, a tutorial would have been awesome
Just a heads-up, I'm not able to get the web version of the game to load at all. I gave it about 3 minutes on firefox
It's not immediately obvious that you can skip the text in the cutscene by pressing keyboard keys. also, my opinion was that the music was annoying because it was so repetitive.
That being said, the core gameplay loop is extremely solid, which is a difficult thing to get right, so nice work.
The fact that you can feed cerberus sausages on the way to the club where you dance with your princess girlfriend makes this game an a+ in my book friend.
some sfx would have been nice for giving items to characters
You absolutely nailed the theme lmao
Is the music supposed to be sync'ed with the arrows?
it's very good! nice sound track, good puzzle design, actually fun dialogue
