Really great atmosphere, I can't really explain it but it feels good to sail the boat. Also the simplistic art style really complimented the game!
If it's not necessary you should develop on older versions of Java so that more people can play it (people usually get annoyed by the Java updater). I would also limit the amount of bullets that can appear on screen at a time because I seemed to start lagging once I fired a few. The art needs a lot of work.
That artwork! It's beautiful! Great submission, although... it did make me a little sad that I could throw a NES around ;) but seriously YOU NEED TO CARRY ON MAKING GAMES!
I really like the UI! The art style is really cool too ^^ Nice submissio, keep it up!
For a learning experience you have done really well! I too started LD a while back to learn more about games and crunching work, so I hope you got as much out of the competition as I did! Nice work
I love the flashlight mechanic, really reminds me of Alan Wake. Sadly I couldn't even find the key haha but from everything I played the game is really well put together!
Took me a little while to figure out but I enjoyed what I played! It's also really nice to look at as well! Great job :) Looking forward to seeing the direction the post jam build goes
Wow, I was terrible my first time around! But I tried again... and still sucked ;D Nice entry nevertheless, keep it up!
I love these kinds of games! Great job, there was one area that made me rage and you happen to have it as a screenshot! I couldn't get through these!! http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/compo2/375043/25361-shot2.png
nice entry though!
A very attractive game, controls are really easy to pick up. I tried playing it on Safari (on OSX Mavericks) but the browser crashed, works fine on Chrome though!
Great artwork and cool use of the theme. Also... I totally want to watch/play Car Wars! Make it your next project ;) good job!
THIS GAME IS BEAUTIFUL! I can't believe it ended so quickly! Make it a full game please! :D
Dude, this game. Playing it next to my friend, both of us are racing to the crystals and the fact the movement is "slightly buggy" is just making it ever more hilarious! Great job on the project!
I'm really enjoying this game and really hope that you keep going with this, I almost broke a million score! Extremely beautiful too!
Very beautiful game with a great atmosphere, I did find it hard to read the text with the current font though.
Cool use of the theme, some of the narration of the planets was great :D Actually manage to tell a cool story! Nice entry, although somewhat confusing to figure out gameplay from the word go
Couldn't run it on web either :( that's a shame, hope you find a way to fix it ^^
Cool idea! I found it pretty difficult, but it was fun! Nice submission, keep it up
Nice! A game that stands out from the rest (as far as I have seen). Great submission :)
Loved the face drawing feature! Kicked the game off to a great start! The world switching mechanic and singleplayer co-op style puzzles were great! good job
Very cool! I don't have an Oculus sadly (but I have developed for it) and I can imagine it working really well at the same time as making the player feel very motion sick! Nice entry!
Love it! Nice art style, cool dialogue and it works with my PS4 controller! Hope you guys do a post jam with more content! (Only if you enjoyed making it ofcourse).
Interesting use of the theme considering social networks are ALOT of people's worlds these days! Nice sub
Loved the little sayings! I was reading them all so seriously until I hit the guy who was all "I have green hair" then i just realised it was going to get funnier! Great sub
Nice little submission.
I had to restart a couple of times due to me managing to break the second level by moving the travelling point and then falling off without it. Sigh, nice entry though and welcome to LD :D
Enjoyed it! Thanks for the "Mac users" help :D +1
Difficult but fun! Loving the use of the world switching mechanic! Nice entry.
Took me a little while to get it working on OSX (should have read your notes first haha!) I was pretty confused at first, but a nice sub :) keep it up
Game looks fantastic but I seem to hit a lot of walls, not sure if I'm just really bad or if you could maybe make gravity a bit heavier.
Awesome idea! Found it pretty tricky to get a decent set up but there are a huge amount of possibilities! Great fun with an arcadey tune behind! Nice entry!
The pixel art is really nice, great touch adding the cape. I managed to get stuck so sadly I can't give you too much :( I did find it a bit awkward jumping up in confined areas where the map kind of zig-zagged
Really nice polished game! Especially for 72 hours, great job! You guys NEED to continue devving, you've got something solid here! Best of luck, great entry!
Fun little game, enjoyed it! If I had to point out one thing that I didn't like it would be the controls, when I was on a planet I felt like the controls were becoming muddled up. It might have just been me, but due to the spherical based movement it really felt like it was going the wrong way at times, I'm not 100% sure though! Other than that, great sub!
Cool game! Nice work :) Liked the audio
Cool little game, delay on words appearing was quite long but the background sound made up for it! Nice entry
@TheGamingProject can I ask where the crashes were? :) Would love to iron those out, and yes we agree with the movement. We have been trying to think of a way we can do it for touch as well as hardware input :(
Hey Rahazan, thank for the feedback and screenshot. We are currently talking about continuing developing it so hopefully the navigation and other visual problems will be of our upmost priority. We had a LOT of fun doing the jam and if the majority of the feedback we receive is positive we can hopefully produce something really cool :D
Thanks guys :)
@mrexcessive, I will look into that and see what's going on
Haha, I loved the trippy dancey pick up! Although I kept getting confused and dying when the reverse control pick up went back to normal, cool sub though! Good job and nice use of Kenney's assets! They always make a game look pretty :D
I only managed to get 22 as my highscore :( oddly enough it bought back nostalgic feelings for snake on the nokia 3310! Nice submission, good job!
Much easier with the arrow keys! Nice sub :) keep it up
Sorry dude, had to mute the sound it hurt me! The game was pretty innovative though, interesting use of gameplay to switch around the different rooms. Nice job
That was really cool! I have to say I thoroughly I enjoyed flying around space and not knowing whether I was the right way up half the time! I did however neglect a lot of the trading :( Good job though!
