LD27 — 10 Seconds

TenToDead by householdutensils 2013-08-26T06:37:00

Pretty fun game, very similar to Super Meat Boy. Not sure if the level I made it to is actually beatable. It was the one right after you start on the top right instead of the bottom left. Gave it about 20 tries and gave up.

I was unsure of this game at first, but then I read the comments. Definitely sold it for me. Especially enjoyed the singing in the background.

On the Dot by Symmeteer 2013-08-26T06:18:00

Beat the game! Found a bug that had me confused for a little while. If you press space mid level, you restart. From there, pressing any arrow key or enter will make you inch towards the second point without starting the timer. Doesn't really affect gameplay, as you have to start the clock (which brings you back to the start) but it had me confused at first. Great work overall!

Fast-Paced Card Action: 10 Second Card Game by Baknik 2013-08-26T06:02:00

A simple card game that gets to be really intense. I'd like to see the multiplier cards stack (if they don't already). I had a 2x > 3x > 1s card setup and I didn't get 6 seconds for it.

10 Second Roguelike by BadgerPriest 2013-08-26T06:52:00

Didn't know you could just hold the arrow keys to move. I think I got carpal tunnel from mashing the keys. Really cool game! Reminds me of Rogue Legacy with the descendant system. I just wish that Damage varied a little bit more, and that there were items for you to get to boost base stats.

Three Rude Dudes by CoolChesire 2014-08-26T00:27:00

Color palate starts to hurt your eyes after a while and makes it difficult to distinguish characters from each other. Very fun otherwise, and the music and sound effects were awesome. Cool intro as well. Good work!

The Trader by TravisChen 2014-08-26T01:04:00

Really like the feel of this. Takes a few deaths before you realize that you need to click the tab to eat and sit by lighthouses to get your meter back up. Feels good to find a place to buy your beans for 3x what you paid. Nice work

Pluto or Bust by IsaacL.Balogh 2014-08-26T00:35:00

I enjoyed this. I'm curious as to why air regenerates while on the planet. That just encourages the player to take more time lining up their shots rather than try to complete the level as fast as possible. Maybe I didn't get far enough for that to change, but it seemed that way for me.

@kyyrma @malf: Sorry about the slow web version guys. Yes, it's made with GameMaker Studio. It's only slightly slow for me. Running an up-to-date Chrome. I've heard complaints from Firefox users.

I'm really glad you are all enjoying it so far!

@Saphyre1306
Sorry, wasn't aware that the controls would be a problem. Do you have any suggestion for an alternate keybinding? Preferably one that doesn't use WAD or at least keeps them on their original keys?

Grave Gravity by Jaenis 2014-08-26T18:18:00

The grid representing the gravity in the back is really cool. Would have liked to see designed levels with this, as some randomly generated levels are impossible to clear 100%. Great work!

Meet The Moon by K55 2014-08-26T00:52:00

I think your download is too big. I've heard that there are a bunch of default textures and objects in UE4 that you should delete before you compile your game. Try that and reupload so people will be willing to download it. Will rate after the (current) 212MB download finishes.

Meet The Moon by K55 2014-08-26T00:55:00

Just read more about changing the download size. Check this out. https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?16134-Why-is-the-IPA-file-size-so-massive-for-small-games-when-UE4-exports-projects
