I think the game would really benefit from an increased fire rate or decreased spawning, I found it really hard to get anywhere as I was overwhelmed quickly with little time for progression and upgrades. I didn't end up finishing it because the dialogue and fetch quests became samey, but I enjoyed sailing around. I think some of the islands could have been a bit closer together, it was sometimes tedious trying to find the right island based on directions from the NPCs. Overall very cozy mood and stunning visuals. Nice job! |

I think its impressive the amount of content you produced in such a short time and with a team that big I know its difficult to manage tasks for a jam, but its clear you work very efficiently. I think the camera biasing towards the forward vector of the ship instead of the velocity made it difficult to navigate downward. Often times you want to have your thruster facing away from the ship, but you want to move in the opposite direction so you may stop. I found I was being punished for orienting my ship correctly because I could see less. I loved your characters and audio, such an amazing vibe! Awesome job. |
