Apr 21 03:41:30 The Dying Fish ♥ 2 I thought the pixel art graphics were nice. I wasn't that engaged with the game play. Congrats on successfully making a game 'with your girlfriend' :)
Apr 21 03:43:32 2m 02s Null and Void ♥ 2 I thought the graphics were very interesting, a bit bold in the color department. The sound fx were suiting. I guess I started the game poorly by falling off of the building. I wasn't sure what to do from the ground, but I can see where you were going with the game once it came to my attention that I should have been on the rooftops. Good luck with the jam! :)
Apr 21 03:45:08 1m 36s Northern Pirates ♥ 1 Great job with the low poly modeling. I did have a little trouble at first maneuvering the ship, but it was easy to dismiss, seeing that I have never really driven a boat before. I really enjoyed the look of the game very much. I can see that you put a lot of work into this. Good luck with the jam!
Apr 21 03:46:22 1m 14s SoapBoy ♥ 1 I really loved your pixel art. I found the controls fairly intuitive. There was a good sense of humor in the game play and the theme was fitting. Good luck with the jam! :)
Apr 21 04:07:51 21m 29s Dungeon Day-Trippers ♥ 1 I really enjoyed playing this game. The art style was very well done. I love the mix of pixel art and low poly. The tutorial was paced nicely, and I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. Good job! :)
Apr 21 04:17:54 10m 03s Rekindle ♥ 4 Thanks for making this game. It reminded me a bit of Don't Starve. The graphics were nice, the audio and music were well placed and the wolf mechanic kept the player on guard. The ram pet was a bit weird, but that's only because I've never had a ram pet. I wouldn't mind getting one after playing this game though.
Apr 21 04:30:55 13m 01s Grasp ♥ 1 I originally didn't think I'd enjoy the game based on the animated graphics, but after starting the game, and moving around, it was actually a bit more engaging than I predicted. The minimalist graphics has a certain appeal to it. The graphic style was consistent. The music was soothing, and the audio sound fx seemed to fit the style of game. Good job and I wish you the best of luck!
Apr 21 04:38:57 8m 02s Pals 'til Death ♥ 0 Boo! The intro to the game scared me into quitting. I thought it was a virus or something. I'll have to give it a second try.
Apr 21 04:58:05 19m 08s Finding Sam ♥ 2 The graphics were my favorite part of the game. After reading a ton of dialogue, I eventually stopped reading and quit. It didn't seem like there was much more to do than reading. I suppose there are people out there who love to read while playing games, but unfortunately, I am not one of them. The overall experience was not bad. I do wish you the best of luck with the jam.
Apr 21 05:24:38 26m 33s Burning Love ♥ 1 I thought the graphics were done very nicely. The music was also soothing, however, the volume of the music was a bit too loud compared to the sound fx, and I wasn't able to adjust the volume in the game at all. I also enjoy games that are non-violent, and this game definitely fit into that category. I hope you get lots of good positive feedback. Good luck on the jam! :)
Apr 21 05:39:46 15m 08s Resquack ♥ 3 The game played very intuitively. It was simple enough to play, so I would play it again at a later time. The graphics were very nice. I wasn't fond of the sound fx in the game. They didn't seem to be recorded at the same volume. The music seemed very professional. Good job! Best of luck!
Apr 21 05:52:21 12m 35s Medically Inaccurate ♥ 3 I felt engaged with the game play. It was intuitive enough to keep me playing, and I'll likely come back for a second try when I have a little more time. The music loop was short, but didn't turn me off. I thought it fit the game. The sound fx were also fitting. Thanks for your game jam entry and good luck!
Apr 21 06:07:14 14m 53s Airplane Mode ♥ 2 This game really stood out as innovative. I also loved the graphic style. The people were simple, but functional. The airport told me that you probably have spent a lot of time in airports. Music was perfect for the environment of the game. And the fork in the outlet was hilarious. This game jam entry is really great. I wish you the best of luck.
Apr 21 06:20:08 12m 54s Savior ♥ 2 I really loved the low-poly 3D art in this game. The music and sounds were soothing and matched the nature theme of the game. I did have trouble with the mouse sensitivity, but it's forgivable considering the 3-Day time constraint. I will go back and play this game a little more when I have some extra time in the next few days. Great job! Hope you do well. Best to you!
Apr 21 06:35:21 15m 13s Keep it burning ♥ 2 This game is really amazing. The 3D art and sound fx are all very soothing. the fire effects are very nice too. The urgency to keep the fire lit are a good game mechanic for this theme. I was glad it was not another Don't Starve knockoff. I will definitely play this game again very soon. Thanks for your entry. And best of luck!
Apr 21 06:43:50 8m 29s ALL CAPS: The Incident at Puppy Canyon ♥ 2 The graphics are pretty good. I didn't think I'd enjoy a typing game, but it did keep me engaged. Some of the words were a little tricky in the beginning, but I think that's because the phrases get randomly generated. I'd think that the game would start with simpler words first and then gradually increase in typing difficulty as you play. (maybe it already does that, I don't know, but I had trouble typing L.A. Deli due to the punctuation. Overall, I think it's a good entry. Best of luck! :)
Apr 21 07:08:16 24m 26s The Halting Problem ♥ 1 First of all, the 3D Robot model is very well done, congrats! The look of the game is very nice. I did have trouble with the game play, mostly because I'm an old man, and my old brain doesn't think quite so quickly anymore. But I appreciate what you have created, and think that anyone who likes a face paced thinking game would likely appreciate this.
Apr 21 07:20:19 12m 03s The Last Sun ♥ 0 I do love the pixel art graphics. I don't often see games that remind me of Asteroids that use pixel art in this manner. good job! The sound fx and music fit the 80's arcade style, but not soothing to my ears. The controls are appropriate to the genre too.
Apr 21 07:30:09 9m 50s Turtle Daddy ♥ 2 The graphics for this game are tight. Everything looks like it was drawn by the same artist and all goes together perfectly. I mean, everything! User Interface, Characters, Environment, everything! The music was blaring loud, but if adjusted would probably be good for the game pace. The controls seemed intuitive. I was able to jump in and start playing immediately. This is a nice entry for the game jam. I wish you the best of luck! :)
Apr 21 07:49:30 19m 21s Anatomic Mayhem ♥ 1 I really think the GUI is one of my favorite things about the game. Also, the way the music slows down when you fail, it really conveys the failure and fits the game very well. The low-poly graphics are also very nice. Good job. Although this is not the kind of game that I would ever be able to play very well, I do think that there are other people out there who can pat their head, and rub their tummy at the same time while chewing gum, and this game might be perfect for those individuals. I wish you the best.
Apr 21 08:00:22 10m 52s God Simulator: Mountain Edition ♥ 1 This is not the kind of game I would ordinarily play, so I wasn't really able to understand it. It took me a few minutes to even realize the webpage was the game. (I guess, I don't even really know)
Apr 21 08:19:42 19m 20s Floyd's Fire ♥ 1 I like the 3D tiles mostly. The lighting is also done tastefully. I'm not overly fond of the way the character looks when he moves, or the character itself. The game seems to be lacking things to do. I didn't play long enough to fully explore it, but the controls themselves seemed accurate. I imagine it would be difficult to put everything together in just 3 days. So for that, i think you did a pretty good job. Time constraints are rough... Would have been a little more interest (of course) with some audio, but I understand the limited time factor. Good luck with the jam! :)
Apr 21 08:41:28 21m 46s Win or Your Totobee WILL Die ♥ 0 It seems like a fun sort of IQ test game. If I had known in advance, I wouldn't have tried it at 4:30 in the morning. lol... Overall, I think the game was done tastefully. It's too bad that I was a little too tired to answer the IQ style questions. Maybe tomorrow I'll try again. Best to you. And good luck in the jam! :)
Apr 21 08:53:35 12m 07s Who Can Protect Me? ♥ 0 The music was wayyyyy toooo loud! The game play is kept extremely simple, but still very difficult to play. I've seen many games like this, so there wasn't much in the realm of innovation. But congrats for finishing a game within the 3-day deadline. We all know how difficult this is to achieve. Keep working on games, they'll only continue to get better. Good luck! :)
Apr 21 09:02:33 8m 58s UnLeeched ♥ 3 The first thing I want to say is, the music is extremely loud and the 8-bit style is often difficult to take even at a low volume. Other than that, the graphic quality of the game is actually quite nice. A lot of work goes into making good pixel, so it's evident that the artist for this game has some real experience. The game plays like any typical platforming, nothing that innovative or fancy. I might have missed a few features, but overall, it's a standard platform game with average controls and nice looking pixel art. Good luck in the game jam!
Apr 21 09:21:05 18m 32s Baby on board ♥ 1 The music probably wasn't original, but it was decent music for the game style. It was, unfortunately, way tooo loud, but I was able to adjust the volume outside of the game. Another unfortunate event was that the mouse sensitivity way very difficult for me. Moving barely 1mm with my mouse caused a 90 degree rotation. It made it impossible for me to make any progress in the game. The graphics were fair. The concept of the game seemed fit. I'm sure you'll learn from the experience and continue to improve as you invent more games in the future. Best of luck! :)
Apr 21 18:08:59 8h 47m Hungry Flames ♥ 1 The graphics are cute. The gameplay is very stereotypical. I had a little trouble in the beginning understanding the pickup, but that's my own fault for not reading the instructions very carefully. Once I was able to pickup items, the game started to play more comfortably. The movement was a bit fast, but otherwise it was pretty good game jam entry. Congrats :)
Apr 21 18:35:43 26m 44s Sunflower Strife ♥ 2 The music is way too loud. I thought the water physics was done well, although water droplets could have looked better if they were round VS square. The game seemed to be missing sound fx, which would have added a bit more flare, but congrats on finishing your first game. I look forward to seeing your next entries.
Apr 21 18:58:42 22m 59s Inanis ♥ 1 The music is really good. I grabbed my guitar and started jamming along. The intro music really had me in a groove. The pixel art is kept very simple, but effective in that at least the entire game's art matches in the same artistic scheme. The game mechanics seems to be working as intended. It's a nice entry for the game jam. I wish you the best.
Apr 21 19:30:58 32m 16s Save the Package ♥ 2 Realizing that you have used the Synty Store assets, the game obviously looks very nice. I thought the controls were done expertly. The game dialogue didn't really give me a lot of time to absorb what I was reading, but I did eventually figure out how to progress through trial and error. I enjoyed the gun fire action of the game, and the visuals were splendid. I will likely play this game some more when I have a little more time to soak it in. Thanks for your submission. The game felt immersive enough to keep me engaged a little longer than the usual game jam. Congrats! and Best to you.
Apr 21 19:53:52 22m 54s Forest Guardian ♥ 1 I took special interest in the way you change the Order in Layer based on the Y-Axis of the character. this is an old trick, but the fact that you used this in a 2 day jam was nice for me as a fellow developer who has created games much like this in the past. Good job on that. The visuals are very pleasing. The artwork itself is desirable. The missing sounds is excusable considering the 3 day limit, but of course it would be a much better experience with sound (I'm sure you already know that). The controls felt very natural, I didn't really have any trouble navigating or fighting off enemies. The concept of the game was kept extremely simple. Overall, good game entry. Best to you!
Apr 21 20:09:31 15m 39s Sandy Road ♥ 1 I didn't play for very long, but I got the general idea of the game. You are locked in a very confined area, and have to dodge incoming missiles (bullets) to progress in the game. Due to the small area of movement, this doesn't lend much to the actual game play. The visuals reminded me of old Atari games, so if a person was into that sort of thing, I imagine they would be happy to play the game. The graphics looked good in that they matched each other, and blended well with the game environment. The sound effects suited the graphics. There was a few unintended game behaviors, such as enemies shooting other enemies, and the vehicles melding together. I'm sure with a little more time you could have easily fixed that. But the biggest problem of course was that the game had no End Condition (it didn't actually tell you that you lost and offer the ability to try again) For that, I had ALT+F4, which is no big deal for game jam, but could have easily been resolved if you had thought of it in advance. Good entry, and best of luck in the jam. I look forward to your next games.
Apr 21 20:23:17 13m 46s Don't Go Grandpa ♥ 2 This is a great game, and I hope you do well in the scoring. First of all, the graphics are very well done. Grade A! The town layout is very strategic. The look and feel of the game makes sense in both art and strategy. In other words, it's very easy to tell what you need to do based on simple shapes and colors for different types of pickups. The music was very fitting, and left me in a sort of elevated mood while I raced through the game to collect what I needed while avoiding obstacles. Overall, great jam entry. Best of luck!
Apr 21 20:40:42 17m 25s Guns N' Violets ♥ 1 The graphics are nice and the controls are all very intuitive and easy to handle, however, the enemies come at the target very quickly and there seems to be a challenge collecting ammo and dealing with threats so quick and early in the game. There was a couple of moments where I felt the game cheated me, because the enemy health showed one heart, but I had to hit them multiples time to kill them. I did have fun playing the game, but wish there was a slower paced version for old guys like me. hehehe Good luck with the jam. :)
Apr 21 20:54:42 14m 00s Save That Baby ♥ 0 The trampoline performance was the best feature of the game. I had no trouble bouncing the babies around. The only problem I personally had with the game, was the content. I hope you will find something a little more mainstream with your next game. Best to you.
Apr 21 21:13:56 19m 14s Cacophony: The Ballad of the Celestial Goblin-King ♥ 4 The pixel art style is really my favorite part about the game. The game itself is a standard rogue-like game, maybe even more like Angband with the sprite based tiles. I loved what I saw and played very briefly to just get a feel for it. The procedural generation seemed to work perfectly. There was a bit of a problem with some of the enemies being too powerful so early in the game, so there could be some advancements in difficulty arrangements. fantastic game jam entry. Best to you!
Apr 21 21:37:28 23m 32s Eggcelerate ♥ 2 First of all, let me start by mentioning that Tim is an online acquaintance, and I did lurk on his channel for a few minutes to see him developing this game. I happen to love driving games and also am a big fan of low-poly flat color textures. So the game immediately struck my interests. That, coupled with the egg basket mechanic made this driving game a little more interest, because just racing around a track is one thing, but keeping a fragile egg from falling off of the car is a whole other thing. I noticed you can't go backwards, so it's possible to find yourself in a situation where you are stuck and forced to restart the game. Also, I love how the eggs stay in the environment with each reset. It really added a little extra flare. Great entry in the game jam by a fantastic person and professional developer. Best to you!
Apr 21 21:54:06 16m 38s Electorite ♥ 0 Most of the pixel art is nicely done and share the same color palette and resolution, but the character's art is a bit out of place. The player character is about half of the size that I feel it should be. The controls seemed to be working as intended and intuitive, so that's good. The music in the menu started out extremely loud, and then became quieter during game play. Thanks for sharing your work in the game jam. Good luck and best to you!
Apr 21 22:16:54 22m 48s iCroog ♥ 2 I love the look and feel of the game. The drunken character is a lot of fun. Low-poly, flat color graphics are my favorite. The music and sound effects all work very well with the game play. Overall, it was fantastic experience for me. Some drawbacks might include the weird way the character dies from tripping over things. I wasn't 100% clear in some cases what was killing me, but I'll come back and play the game again and take a closer look next time. Great job! Hope to see more by your team. Best to you.
Apr 21 22:46:48 29m 54s READ THE LABEL ♥ 1 I didn't think I was going to enjoy this game much because it seemed like there would be an excessive amount of reading, but after playing for a few seconds, I quickly realized that you can skim through the content and make quick decisions based on certain keywords. The concept of the game is fairly unique, and I thought it played fairly well for a game that I wouldn't ordinarily play. I did have difficulty getting the game to close, ALT+F4 didn't work, so I had to ALT+TAB and then Right Click on the icon on my task bar to close it. Also, I was playing during a live stream, and couldn't move the screen over to my second monitor where my viewers could see it while I played. not bad for a game jam entry, especially for Python! Good job! :)
Apr 21 23:01:28 14m 40s Free Munchers ♥ 0 The visuals for this game are very hard on the eyes. I did continue playing the game, despite the appearance, and thought the concept was good for a young child learning basic math. The graphics were not that stimulating and the audio was also not much to talk about either. I'm sure that you'll do better with each new game that you make. Just keep moving forward and congrats on finishing a game, because that's a really big deal at the end of the day. Best to you.
Apr 21 23:40:51 39m 23s Fly Zone ♥ 0 Congrats on finishing a game entry in 3 days. There's not a lot to talk about with a clone game, but at least you can say that you finished a project, and that's always a good thing. I had trouble playing your game, but I also had trouble with the famous Flappy Bird game that this seems to be modeled after. This is a very difficult game to play. one good thing that you added was the ability to go forward and backwards, which is a nice mechanic. Good job and keep making games!
Apr 22 00:07:21 26m 30s Flora ♥ 1 It's always nice to see original works of pixel art graphics. The game concept was kept very simple so that you could complete the game jam on time, so congrats for meeting that goal. The controls worked as expected, but I wasn't able to follow the game intuitively. I felt a little lost along the way, but I am sure if I spent a bit more time, I might have figured it all out. Best of luck in the jam! Keep making games
Apr 22 00:09:58 2m 37s Paper Disco ♥ 2 I have never played a rhythm game before, so this was my first time experience with this genre. As a musician with over 30 years experience, I felt that the timing was not synced properly, but then again, it could also be my inexperience with this game genre, maybe I just need a little more practice. The graphics were awesome, the music was equally amazing, and I really loved the look and feel of the game. The main character was a hoot, and the presentation of dialogue was groovy, to say the least. Much respect and enthusiasm. Best to you! Good luck with the voting, I think you'll do well.
Apr 22 00:36:34 26m 36s Bodyguard ♥ 1 I think the general concept of this game is very unique. The player is expected to sit back before taking action and determine who to target based on information given. The graphics (at a glance) may not look spectacular, but once you get into the game and start playing, you immediately realize that there's something special going on with the graphics... That is, everything is animated! Everything! I mean... EVERYTHING! Right down to the Font, icons and even the talk bubble itself is fully animated. This level of detail is very impressive, especially for a game jam. The music writing was good, but the 8-bit sound quality is never a good thing for me (being an old man with hearing problems). I would definitely play this game again when I have a little more time. I consider this to be a good candidate for the game jam. I hope to see you near the top. Good luck!
Apr 22 00:59:43 23m 09s MegaCorn - Strategy / Economy Simulator ♥ 2 The game seems like there are many layers involved, which might make the programming a bit complicated. So I am a bit impressed that this was accomplished in just 3 days. Congrats on finishing your game on time by the way. The graphics are done tastefully and I noticed that all of the art matches each other well, and stay to the same color palette. The sounds fx and music are both good for the game itself and done well. Overall, it's a good entry into the jam. It's unfortunately that I don't' typically play these kinds of games so I didn't make it too far myself. I can see how someone who likes this sort of game might find it highly entertaining.
Apr 22 01:18:49 19m 06s PLANETORUS2 ♥ 1 This game presents a very unique concept of racing on the surface of a gigantic Torus (hence the name of the game "PlaneTorus" (clever name by the way). The graphics are visually pleasing, the music selection really fits the game. I realize that the game wasn't finished, but I can imagine the possibilities. I look forward to your next and wish you the best of luck.
Apr 22 01:31:26 12m 37s Tutu Tussle ♥ 1 It's classy that the artwork completely reflects this particular time period and has a nice color palette and matching style. The pixel art is very nice. The game play is so-so... It took me a few minutes to pickup on some of the basic mechanics, but I did eventually start to catch on. Nice entry in the game jam. Best to you.
Apr 22 01:49:22 17m 56s WAVER ♥ 1 I gotta say, the concept of this game is truly unique! Way to go on presenting something new to the table. (at least, as far as my limited game playing experience has ever gone) The animations and screen transitions are highest quality. The sound and stereo effects were all very well done. I wasn't able to play the game, but I can imagine someone who is up to the challenge having a lot of fun with this. I could imagine you getting a good score in this game jam. I wish you the best of luck.
Apr 22 02:07:00 17m 38s Ball Keeper ♥ 1 I enjoyed playing this enough, that'll I'll come back and play it again after the jam is over. The color scheme is easy on the eyes. The graphics, are also very pleasing and kept simple and less distracting. The game play is about my pace, which I really appreciate. And you went through the trouble of making audio/music sliders to adjust the volume (BIG THANKS!) Good stuff! Keep it up!
Apr 22 02:31:59 24m 59s Space Girl Thibi Feed Me ♥ 1 The pixel art graphics are done very well. Congrats for finishing your game on time. It looks like it might have taken some time to get everything working right. You've got a couple of game mechanics, such as the speed strips and the scavenger hunting that were done perfectly. With that said, the game content seems to be very thin. I only experienced one level and it appeared to be somewhat small. Best of luck in the game jam.
Apr 22 02:45:48 13m 49s Node Colony ♥ 2 The graphics are obviously not the focus of this game, as all I really see are icons and lines. The color scheme is appropriate. Unfortunately, the game is a little deeper than my little mind can understand, so I didn't seem to get very far... (or maybe I did) I don't know. At least you were able to finish a game and get your entry in on time. I wish you the best and look forward to your next game.
Apr 22 03:04:42 18m 54s The Blind Hummingbird ♥ 1 The Sound & Music are nice, the graphics are peaceful and goes along perfectly with the audio stuff. The controls seem spot on. The game play is very casual (which I happen to prefer) and overall, I think it's a beautiful entry into the game jam. I wish you the best of luck.
Apr 22 03:25:24 20m 42s Shah ♥ 2 The audio/visual quality is very good. I really love pixel art when done well. But what stands out the most with this game is the creative use of the "Chess" environment. This game mechanic is definitely thinking outside the box, and I will most likely come back and try this game again after a few days. Good job!
Apr 22 03:50:05 24m 41s Keep The Beat Alive! ♥ 2 This game is very creative and fun. The graphics are somewhat minimalistic, but that's ok, because the game focuses on beat matching and the music. The music is also awesome by the way. Congrats on submitting a really good game into the jam. Best of luck!
Apr 22 04:16:41 26m 36s Daisy ♥ 1 To be honest, I didn't really connect with this game. There seems to be a couple of different phases in the game play.... you start by collecting sun, then spending your energy points on some kind of defense or whatever, without really knowing what offensive opponents are coming your way. So it's kind of like blind spending. Then you are attacked by various enemies and basically just sit there taking the abuse until the phase cycle repeats. It's the blind buying mechanic that makes me feel detached from the game play. The graphics and sound are mediocre. But don't let any negative feedback keep you from continuing to make games. You can only improve, so I hope to see what your next game submission looks like. Good Luck! And best to you!
Apr 22 04:49:20 32m 39s Dino spin ♥ 3 I didn't think I would enjoy this, but came at it with an open mind, and to my surprise, I actually did enjoy it very much. In fact, i plan on coming back and playing it some more after I get a chance to rate a bunch of other games. The pixel art and animations are nice, the music is interesting, because as a musician, I pickup on the improvisation at hand, and think it's kind of cool that you put this track together in this way. Way to go! Best of luck with your votes, and hope to see your next game.
Apr 22 05:06:03 16m 43s The Burning Dark ♥ 1 this game concept seems to be very popular for this game jam. I did enjoy the environment, lighting and the wolves lurking in the darkness and mysteriously killing campers in the night. It added a certain sense of intensity to the game. However, I could only find about a half dozen sticks in the nearby woods, and despite a few quick attempts to explore, I never really figured out where to find anymore wood. The graphics and sound effects are nice. I hope you do well with the votes. Best of luck! :)
Apr 22 05:21:32 15m 29s Quackin' Eggs ♥ 2 The music was relaxing. I actually grabbed my guitar and tried to jam along. The simple melody is peaceful and a good choice for a game like this. The graphics looked 3D in the still images, but definitely looked 2D once I was in the game. Overall, I think the graphics and sound were both attractive and complimented each other. I would definitely play this game again.
Apr 22 05:38:03 16m 31s WormsWorms ♥ 1 First of all, I think the game looks fantastic! I mean, everything, the music, the audio, the graphics. What a great job! The only real downside I expected was the controls. I felt the "J" and "K" were probably not the best options for the only 2 action keys in the game. However, I do intend to play this game a little more during some of my free time. So consider that a compliment! Great work, hope to see your next game soon.
Apr 22 06:17:25 39m 22s Dad's Breath ♥ 3 I started to play the game, and felt like the content was a little too deep for me right now. But the game design, graphics, sounds and so on were all done very well. As far game design goes, I rate this game pretty high.
Apr 22 06:41:31 24m 06s Keep It Alive ♥ 1 Congrats on finishing an entry for the game jam. This game has very little content, but the pixel art for the fire and the lighting caught my attention. I didn't feel like there was very much to do in the game, and I got bored very quickly. I hope your games continue to improve, and look forward to your next one. Best to you.
Apr 22 07:00:49 19m 18s Job-Changing Janitor Fights Off Zombies And Tries To Save Patients At A Hospital ♥ 3 I like the concept of entering 3 different rooms to change occupation. It is a bit cumbersome to the game play, but there seems to be plenty of time to make the transition. The pixel art graphics and animation were all very well done. The sound effects and music both matched each other, as well as fitting the visuals of the game. The music itself was executed professionally. I particularly enjoyed how the music transformed during the death into a nice long sustained chord. (Nice touch!) There were also some pretty fast handed musical arrangements happening too. (As a musician, I notice these things). There were a few minor problems, but easy to dismiss with a game of this caliber. For example, there seemed to be some kind of hiccup in one of the animations, or maybe it was the movement script (hard to tell). Also, I found myself getting stuck on some of the corners (or edges) as I passed by objects in the game. Great team work! Looking forward to your next game.

Apr 22 07:51:37 26m 32s By Lanterns Light ♥ 0 The opening music is quite impressive! The game play was rough for me. I had great difficulty moving around on narrow platforms. There seemed to be some graphical issues too, for example; the lighting was not very effective, and despite having a torch, I always felt like there wasn't enough light to see where I was going. The character seemed to have too much light on him, so he appeared overexposed. But I think my biggest issue was with the apparent spine based character animation. In fact, it didn't really behave like a traditional character animation at all, sometimes the legs would rotate around in a 360 degree circle. The character's motion didn't bob up and down at all. It was very robotic looking and oterhwise just unnatural. There wasn't a lot to do other than explore. I didn't really fight anything, pickup anything, or do anything other than just walk, jump and try to avoid landing in the water. I'll admit, I didn't advance very far. I quit just as I entered the 2nd level. I think there must have been a lot of work done on the game, but it might have been a bit more work than was anticipated. It was a good solid effort, and I wouldn't mind seeing the game again if you decided to polish the game, especially if you ever intend to publish. Great job, congrats on finishing. Best to you
May 6 02:24:16 330h 32m ALIEN RESCUE ♥ 0 Fit the theme of the jam perfectly. The game play was intuitive and overall pretty easy to play without any necessary instructions. The graphics, sound and music was all done well. You'll probably do well in the scoring. Best to you! :)
