sadly this is maybe only me but i could not pick up killed animals. but still, nice entry!
this game is pretty fun, but i find that the player character have too little life. nice entry anyway, the idea is pretty fun !
Hey, hope this was a great jam to your team ! I'm not a big player on point and clicks so take this with a grain of salt, but in had difficulty navigating the different screens. also i tried shutting down the lights from the bed-screen but i was sad to find in couldn't D:. On another note, i loved the art and the "RealChecker (c)" ideas, with no bugs or crash. for a game made in 72 hours, i would eagerly say that its great succes of a jam! see ya in the next one :D
Hey there, this is pretty good! i love that you made text prompts and the ritual preparation bit, it really adds to the anticipation. ind the sacrifice mechanic is really cool, even if i would have gone for heavy-er sacrifices (like "no melee" instead of "less attack speed") i would have made the player character speedier tho, right now its very hard to escape lucifer furthermore, reloading could have been automatic at 0 ammo, for quality of life ;D in the end, great jam entry ! keep up the good work man !
Thanks ! indeed we lacked the ressources to make them, we'll know better next jam :D
yea i can see why ^^ but we are happy that you enjoyed the game ! :)
indeed now that you mention it maybe we should have set up some kind of big arrow with neons, will certainly do so next time (unironically)!
thanks, we'll take this to heart
my god we indeed forgot to make a quit button OO, but we're happy that you enjoyed the concept :D we'll take your comment to heart when continuing forward ^^
we should have made them clearer, they use favours (the number in the bottom left) to heal ou spawn more minions. thanks for the feedback !
it was indeed an inspiration !great observation ;D
congrats on this little gem of a gamejam project !
Hey ! i hope your jam vas a good one to you ! i played your game and i loved the charracters screens and conversation feel, i really hope that in your next entry you'll be able to use them more extensively :D. also i find the graphisms a bit lackluster, but kudos to you for using SDL2/LOVE ! the music was weird but in a fun way so that's cool :D good luck for your next one
PS i experience a bug when talking two times to green planet, the second time she stops talking between two paragraph in a weird way
hey great compo man ! i find the shooting mechanic a little lackluster but the rest of the game seem solid. well done !
Hey ! hope this jam was good to your team :D i find your game to be very original, with a good idea ! i would have wished for more variety in danger sources, but still, its a mighty fine game for the timeFrame ^^
great jam! the protagonist certainly got his priorities straight :D
well i tried to lose and i couldnt, but damn thoses animations are really good. also great take on the theme!
The integration of a tower defense style game with this theme is surely interesting and the graphics are really well done great submition!
i had a great time trying out this game, i can appreciate the music level slider on the main menu. the game got a whole bunch easier once i learned that you can let your slave behind with [f], though i never got past 3 captured. the music i found really set the tone as an upbeat comic game, wich is further pushed by the disguises at the ship. the game quickly becomes repetitive, but as a jam game it is not really that horrible. all in all, great submission, hope to see y'all next jam !
the game graphics and effects are really great to look at ! sadly i had no sound and i often was stuck in a level because an ennemy was outside the boundaries. in any case, great jam for a two person team, well done !
Wow thanks you all for your quality feedbacks and bug reports, i for one did not expect so much support!
As the 3d artist i am very happy to read that my models and animations as a whole fit well together, and add to the game :D.
To address some common issues:
Normally a fix has been issued about the respawn problem, players no longer need to close the game to retry.
As for the sound indeed, we had no audio designer/music inclined people in our team, so i found some great sfx and music on OpenGameArt.org, mixed them up with audacity and poof, we had sound ! (I learned much thanks to our last game... sound problems).
Also we did integrate a background music, but apparently not all hear it. we will look into it if more people report it.
The pistol shoots a bit to the side of the cursor, currently we do not know the cause, but it is pretty minor in the grand scheme of things.
Finally indeed we did not have the time to create a victory screen, a glaring oversight on our part, sadly adding one now do not feel like a fix and so to respect the rules of the jam it will stay this way for now.
Again thank you all for your feedbacks and bug reports, it is thanks to people like you that we get better at each jam!

It took me some time to understand the concept but once i did it was some fun time sleuthing around to understandwho is real or not. the real gut punch is the girl when you cut her out tho.
great submition.
well tried, the idea was interesting but this game is clearly in dire need of content. the level design was ice tho. also if you keep the jump button pressed, and hit any surface (floor, wall, of roof) the coin will be jumping until you release the button. good luck for your next jam tho, i am sure that you learnt a lot !
I like the concept but maybe some more diversity of content or gameplay could prop your game up ! nevertheless, great job on the message and the submission !
the idea and graphics made me think about Downwell, looks really similar. good job on this entry, really worth a try, but expect to die. this game is not easy!
you have a solid game loop and a well paced difficulty curve, i loved the experience. really great stuff here, well done my guy
I love that you pulled off the concept, it's great. i sadly couldn't get through the first level most of the time, nor the second but damn man, real spore vibes here. well done
This is impressively well made. only negative i see is that it started and crashed my steamVR installation for some reason but really, it's great stuff also mad respect for the dub
The art is really a bright spot of this experience, but sadly the character had far too much inertia for me to manage to build more than three chakras.
so i didn't manage to get too far, but i can appreciate the work you've done nonetheless on the lighting and mood. i would recommend for you to learn some more about modelling and animation 'cause it seem to me you have a great potential regarding it
Oh indeed, we left an AZERTY controls scheme, it should be fixed in our fixed version ! Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your feedback !
