Tiny Timmy and Big Bill by OmarShehata 2012-04-24T19:23:00
Haha, loved it! It took me a while to realize that you can't move with Timmy on your hand, but then I had a blast :)

Haha, loved it! It took me a while to realize that you can't move with Timmy on your hand, but then I had a blast :)
nice style! very polished, fun game mechanics and funny audio :)
you select the item with the number keys (on your keyboard :) the items and their prices are shown ingame in the lower right corner.
after you pressed a number key you can place the module with the mouse next to your ship (player1 left, player2 right)
@01010111: thanks! you can cancel the buy mode with the ESC key... we forgot to mention that in the ingame instructions, but it is an important key :)
@esayitch: thanks! we tried to limit the buy mode to 10 seconds in the beginning but it was too frenetic and random for my taste...
and yeah, ai would have been very nice. unfortunately we didn't have time for it. you can try doing your own challenges in singleplayer though: only reinforce player2 with armor every turn (maybe only one armormodule every turn?) or something like that :)
very nice! i like atmospheric 'games' like this. reminded me a little bit of Journey :)
the music is also very nice, especially at the end! i wouldn't have minded it looping to fill the whole playtime, though :) did you make it yourself in the jam time?
minor critique: you have to do a lot of (slow) walking till you get to the cool areas...
I am the master of lightning :)
very well executed, very fitting to the theme.
*hint* add cute graphics + sound and i think this idea would do very well on the mobile market! ;) i foresee frenetic 2 player multiplayer on a single tablet!
nice blood splatter effects
awesome execution and idea. love the game over twist
Impressive! I managed to win with only 400$ to spare, so I'd say it is even well balanced :)
Nice graphics and sound. Hilarious twist. I was able to fry eggs, the rat and cook noodles. But i'm not able to prepare any meals. How do i compose the dishes?
Nice idea! But it took me some time to find out, that i could move also through the grey blocks ;)
Nice and polished! Cool music and sfx! And screenshake is always nice ;)
I feel like a german shepard on the moon :D Nice little puzzler
Argh! I hate this rabbit. Nice idea
refreshing and intriguing. haven't figured out the best strategy yet but the game is quite rewarding so i don't mind :)
had this idea, too. very nice to see how it could've turned out. nice job!
nice, the game's got a special touch. and i like the smartphone noise filter feature. you should work a little longer on that prototype, take that glitchy feeling further to the edge. could be worth it.
I liked the creature designs
wow, very promising concept! would love to play a refinded version of this some day.
Thanks for the nice comments! That was a really good ludum dare, we got lots of stuff done but left too litle time for balancing and bugfixing.
And yeah, a late night bug made its way into the compo version... Critical hit chance and block chance will keep accumulating when you change something in your equipment. So sooner or later you hero will become an immortal killing machine :)
I fixed the bug in the bitbucket repository (source) and maybe I'll even do something about the balancing and add more dungeons/items/monsters over there!
Loved it! Requires fast thinking. Do not get trapped into thinking you have everything under control, things can turn pretty quickly :)
Very polished little game! It gets frantic very quickly, but that's how I like it :)
The (windows) download got blocked by chrome, said it was malicious, but I didn't believe it... I had to copy the file and rename it to .zip and as there were only the usual löve suspects in the zip and the antivir didn't complain I'd say all is well with the download!
After reading the readme and knowing what to do it was quite fun. But you really have to be lucky to have the right items in the basement and I haven't really found a strategy to optimize that...
I really liked the graphics, though. Seeing my tenants very happy makes me happy :D
The steering feels very good! Floaty, but always in control. That is until I got to the weight, couldn't steer it at all with the weight on...
But I love physics games like this one, so thank you for making it! :)
Nice one! At first I disliked the steering with the mouse but after a few seconds of play I started to like the challenge of taking away you "hands off the steering wheel" to press the cargo button :)
A fuel mechanic would have been nice. Just like in spacetaxi, so that you don't constantly accelerate with full force...
But all in all a nice game!
Thanks for the nice comments! I uploaded the web build to our webspace, it should work now (at least on firefox, chrome still has problems with the unity plugin). And while I was at it I also added a linux build (but: untested!).
By the way: my current record lies at 2:21 minutes for all soldiers :) I come back to it every once in a while and it is still fun :)
nice one! i got really freaked out by the monsters, even though they were moving so slowly :)
VERY athmospheric, good job!
I love hacking mini games and yours is right on top of the list, nicely done! You even managed to build up a cyberpunkish atmosphere with only a handful of moving digits :)
Wow, awesome puzzler! also loved the music, very catchy!
And thumbs up to the unconventional choice of framework! Never heard of Megazeux before :)
For those of you, who can't get past level 4 (took me some time, too!) a little spoilery hint: just like in real life people also get caught by the tv at an angle, not only directly in front of it ;)
nice one! i had a lot of fun playing.
at score 600 i was thinking: this is way too easy! and then it hit me: i started the game on easy :) restarted on very hard and got to 280 points. but aside from the waves getting longer there was no progression in difficulty... if you made the zombies faster with every wave, it would get more interesting while playing.
but it's a fun game and i'm sure that with a little bit of diversity it would even sell as a small indie title!
very nice, lots of fun! :) the only thing i missed was a screen in the end telling me how long i survived :see_no_evil: reminded me a bit of crimsonland, which i loved! when you need inspiration for things to add, look at crimsonland. i think with more features this could even sell very well!
