Really Really cool concept. I really like it. The main character thing is a little hard to control though. Good Job. It could use some cool hacking music.

I like your game! It plays very well and makes a lot of fun! Very nice entry!

Very smooth, nice sound and animation.
The gameplay was more interesting than I initially expected and I spent a bit more on it that intended :)
The only thing that confused me a bit was the character moving on a grid-like pattern but packets flowing smoothly.
With a bit of work and polish could make a really nice little puzzle game. Great job! :)

very interesting topic

Cool idea! Interesting to play

capntronix 2015-04-21 16:40

really nice. reminded me of an older style of game that was pretty common ~amiga PCs. simple, clear mechanics and nice unconventional weapon

drprettypatty 2015-04-21 17:05

Very good all around! It's a simple, fun, byte-sized (couldn't resist...) frogger game, and a great concept! I thought the controls felt great as well.

zielak 2015-04-21 19:32

Very well executed puzzle game. Requires strategic thinking, good memory and reflexes.
I couldn't get past stage 4 but I really loved how this game really got me into thinking that I'm really a hacker! Sets the mood in.

I really like the concept. Maybe using another font would have helped, I think this one is not the best to see the patterns easily. Good job :)

murilo 2015-04-21 20:41

Cool idea! The player movement was kind limited but still fun to play. For some reason I thought the atmosphere fit the concept even though you could've picked any color for it. Good job, man!

Loved the twist in the gameplay, it relieves the feeling of helplessness found in the classic. You stuck to the theme very well too.

One thing I did notice is that sometimes I would jump lines too quickly, which might just be based on my keyboard being very fast. Future polish might warrant an input throttle. Otherwise, very fun!

Nice game. May I suggest using 0's and 1's instead of o's and pipes? That would give a more "datastream" feeling.

cool concept and artwork. the webplayer works fine for me except the page scrolls if i press up/down.

hbocao 2015-04-23 01:11

Very nice job, man. Great idea for start. Very simple, but very engaging. You should expend more time on it.

smokecastles 2015-04-23 22:36

I'm loving the gameplay and the smooth animations. Also I definitely could see it as a mobile game with some controls tweaking (without abandoning the Frogger "on-rails" style, I think it suits perfectly well). Overall very enjoyable and polished, congratulations for this entry!

zanzlanz 2015-04-24 15:17

Ah wow, this is really well done - it feels like something I'd have played all day in grade school! Fantastic work, A+ for you! ;D

And that End Of File thing is evil! XD

mr_tag 2015-04-25 14:51

I love hacking mini games and yours is right on top of the list, nicely done! You even managed to build up a cyberpunkish atmosphere with only a handful of moving digits :)

chaoseed 2015-04-25 14:52

Pretty neat! It's a cool representation of the concept. I didn't realize at first that you sort of have to choose the right blue bits to grab, the ones that match the target. That wasn't exactly clear in the instructions. The gameplay feels pretty solid. It's a little odd that you only get one 'life', though. Good work!

oadt 2015-04-25 14:52

Took a second to understand the game but it's an very unique idea and makes fun!

bvanschooten 2015-04-25 23:29

Nice concept. I like the "computer" theme graphics.

badlydrawnrod 2015-04-26 16:40

This was really good. A very innovative concept and it has that "one more go" factor. My only criticism is that the code itself could be a bit closer to the action to bring it slightly closer to the field of vision.

ilookedatyourtitsandiminlove 2015-04-28 23:28

Really neat game, nicely done.

steboots 2015-04-28 23:28

Clever, I liked it!

megaponies 2015-04-28 23:39

Cool concept! I really liked the aspect of moving the cursor with TAB to use the characters in a different/rotated order :) It's a fun action puzzle!

pinkindian 2015-05-03 17:36

I really liked the concept and the execution was great. Maybe a few lives/retries would have been nice.

puppetmaster 2015-05-08 21:55

Very cool puzzle game. Love the effect off the bouncing deserialize packet. Well done!

nikteddy92 2015-05-09 08:04

I read your post mortem post yesterday about the physical prototyping while I was on the bus! I found the work you did about the game mechanic really interesting and I support the "offscreen" work.
So today I have come here and I think that the game is really well structured and enjoyable beside you didn't implement the improvemente you were talking yesterday.
Great Entry! Well done!
