Good clean game, well executed. But it could use more depth. Not much strategy or skill involved.

Lily Adventuresses! Episode 2: Rise of the Arcritters [Prologue] by moonlightbomber 2024-10-15T06:36:17Z

This game has all the pieces of a functional game. It works smoothly, simple and easy to understand. I didn't really see anything that seemed new or unique though. In current form it is playable. but if you want it be fun and exciting, it needs more: More variety in the types of challenges and the types of skills/spells that were usable. More engaging story and plot. More places to explore and reasons to explore them.

I'm a big fan of RPGs, and I haven't seen many RPG submissions so far. Thank you for making this!

Maginot by vfqd 2024-10-14T07:16:50Z

Really enjoyed playing through this game. Lots to love here. A few bugs, I'm sure you're aware of already: Can't place sand blocks left of the ocean, Digger and Runner AIs can get stuck, clicking in the upgrades screen also sometimes clicks on objects in the background, etc. I think others have already mentioned these.

Most importantly though, this was genuinely fun to play.

Tiny Hawk Pro-Skater by Teto 2024-10-09T21:16:27Z

The audio was impressive. Didn't feel like the WASD controls really did much. Seems like most of the game is just Stop, reverse, and jump. Maybe I missed something?

STARDUST CREATURES by aerloth 2024-10-09T21:50:46Z

5 Stars. This felt like the demo for a game I would buy. I loved the audio mood and the ambience. Loved the pretty visuals. Loved the exploration and puzzle solving. Loved the low-stakes "Walking Simulator" vibe.

Edited to add: On my first playthrough, at the end the screen just went black, like @peter-dam described. I think because I was standing in the portal when it opened the first time. I found the end scene on my second playthrough, by standing at the edge and waiting for the portal to finish transforming.

Araneae by WouterK12 2024-10-14T05:37:17Z

Sound and graphics are both really well done. Not much interaction or gameplay, but pretty impressive for a jam game. Unique and interesting concept.

Theoi Gambit by CyanLing 2024-10-09T21:02:27Z

Visuals are really well done. Loved the concept of trying to balance both sides against each other, rather than trying to get one side to "win"

Not much strategy to the game though. You play positive cards on the side that's winning, and negative cards on the side that's losing.

Fear of Sea by UnidayStudio 2025-04-08T14:47:10Z

Love the look, love the vibe. Odd that the mouse movement just controls your view inside the sub, instead of moving the sub view. Made it a little difficult to move, since you had to coordinate WASD and mouse movement in order to see where you're going.

Is it Wrong to Try to Lay Pipe in a Sewer Dungeon? by Gizmolo 2025-04-08T23:29:51Z

@cure You're absolutely right. There are some items/mutations that are hugely unbalanced.

By the time we had everything built, there wasn't much time for balancing, and we erred on the side of "too easy is better than too hard"

For a more balanced experience, it helps to think of the slime mutation and the arm warmers more as a cheat/debug mode, and ignore them unless you just want to breeze through.

Depth Self - A narrative game by Flokami 2025-04-08T16:24:53Z

Very creative! This was fun to try to puzzle through. The walkthrough guide could use a little more detail though. If someone is stuck enough to read the spoiler/walkthrough, they probably want more than just hints.

Cave of Echos by Katzengebaeck 2025-04-08T15:12:46Z

WOW! What a cool game! I really enjoyed yelling to try to get away from enemies. felt very immersive. Very unique and creative.

Edited to add that the music is really great too!

Last walk in the forest by LooksLikeSomething 2025-10-12T20:17:59Z

Very Zen. I liked the simple controls and the ambience. It felt calming and meditative to play.

Bards Battles by wdebowicz 2025-10-14T15:17:44Z

This was a very interesting premise, and a unique way to make a game using AI. If you're looking for detailed feedback, I'd like to see some sort of indicator when the AI is generating the next output. Right now, the screen just does nothing for a bit after you submit your words. So I ended up trying to click or push buttons randomly to try to advance the screen, then wondering if the game is just locked up. Thank you for this, it's made me think more deeply about how to use LLMs within games

Carrot Collector by F1Krazy 2025-10-14T14:44:35Z

Nice simple game. I appreciated that you showed, rather than telling, how the game mechanics work, by just gradually including new elements in each of the levels. It always feels better to learn by exploring. Good puzzle design.

GOBBO THE GLADIATOR by hulien22 2025-10-14T16:06:53Z

This game was genuinely fun. I have feedback on specific details, but only because I played it and replayed it often enough to wish it were different in specific ways. - It's a little too hard. It's balanced like a standalone game, not a jam game. With a standalone game, players have the time to replay and gradually get better. In a jam, people won't have the time to grind and get better at any specific game. No judgement, I think our game submission this year has the same problem. But it would be nice to be able to decrease the difficulty. - I wish you had a way to block. You're carrying a shield, but it doesn't do anything. Plus, you can see when the enemies are winding up to hit you. It would be nice to have a mechanic to engage with there, instead of just fumbling to awkwardly back away after attacking. - It would be nice to show your stats somewhere, maybe just in between levels, so you can get a sense for how much impact each upgrade has on you.

I actually liked the mantling mechanic. And I liked that there were multiple chests, so you could get more than one jewel on most levels. I liked that you start to realize as you play, that killing dudes is way less important than just getting treasure. The game is really about collecting coins and jewels, not winning fights, which was a great way to use the game mechanics to lean into the theme.

I enjoyed playing this, and I can give it the highest of my praise: This is one of the games I will save to have my kids play also.

The Collector by Kazuren 2025-10-12T19:34:17Z

Great jam game! I'm not usually a fan of platformer games, so I tend to be bad at them. I appreciated that it was challenging but still solvable. I also appreciated that you can't really "lose" since the worst that happens is you drop your items. As a lower skill gamer, I get frustrated at constantly dying in games, so this was nice. Everything looks and feels well polished. Loved the story, loved the graphics. Gameplay was solid.

If I had any feedback for improvement, the only thing I'd say is that you could have been more ambitious. I get the impression that this high level of polish was possible partly because of your limited scope. I'd be excited to see you push the limits and try to add more content.

Archives of the Collector by MatthewDrake 2025-10-12T20:02:21Z

This was fun to play, and not too difficult. The story did a good job of being absurd and silly, but still internally consistent and easy to follow. Intuitively, I wanted to have keys tied to movement, like WASD for forward, backward, left and right. For a point and click, you could have a few more things to interact with that didn't directly relate to solutions, so that there's a little more content to explore. Overall, you did a good job of making a complete game.

It's a game!

LichWitch: Long live the king by HappyTrollAngus 2026-04-21T15:24:47Z

Thank you so much, @mc-shopot! I'm impressed you took the time to play it.

I agree, we wound up not really using the theme. That’s why I opted out of theme ratings.

Did you play solo, or with other people? Which class did you beat the dragon with?

LichWitch: Long live the king by HappyTrollAngus 2026-04-21T15:35:34Z

@itero-proto @zj798164639 No, unfortunately, there's no way to play it online or on a computer. By, "digitized" I meant we took our handwritten notes and got *most* of them typed up. You'd have to print it out to actually play it. And you'd need to have your own dice collection.

I don't expect to get a lot of ratings, but I really appreciate the few who take the time! Thank you again, @mc-shopot

LichWitch: Long live the king by HappyTrollAngus 2026-04-30T18:24:54Z

@itero-proto @zj798164639 Just updated! There is a workshop mod now, it is playable on TTS. Technically the mod wasn't created until after submission deadline, so don't feel obligated to give a rating. But feel free to playtest it.

THE MYSTERIOUS DEVICE by Itero Proto 2026-04-30T18:22:13Z

Delightfully absurd and silly. Love the creativity in the style and goal of the game, and the multiple endings. Nice simple gameplay that works.

Dorm Manager by zj798164639 2026-04-30T18:35:49Z

Clean and well executed. The gameplay loop works and makes sense. It would have been nice if there were more of a puzzle to solve, like if each signal effected each student in different ways. The setup and description promised a puzzle game, but the actual gameplay didn't really deliver on that idea. The art is good and the controls were intuitive.
