A classic game, I loved it. Most things came easily, naturally I searched around a bit. I especially liked the Lovecraftian quip (at least that's how I interpret it) about the beautiful star!

I have tried but I am stuck in the mannequin room but I love the artstyle, the only real problem I had was with the buttons to change rooms, they are a tad small
I was handsomely rewarded!
Fun puzzler :D The mannequin one took me the longest because some arms looked like they fit better than others and I had no idea if I was missing something, but I got the right combination in the end.
Overall this game was quite enjoyable to play through. Good job!
Nice quick puzzle! I got a bit confused when I got the tiara because I thought I had to use it on something or that if I clicked on it the white outline would appear around it and then I could use it on things. Might have just been a me problem haha Regardless, well done!
Super nice! That reminded me a lot of some flash games of eras past! You managed to add quite a bit of content with an actual story with start and end with quite a few rooms and items. Great job!
fun little game, i always love puzzle games and this one was pretty fun. I do wish the movement arrows changed colors so i knew which direction was possible. The graphics are good and none of the puzzles were too difficult so i like it
You’ve clearly put a lot of effort into the story and presentation! I just think it might work better if the gameplay started a bit sooner - it’s hard to stay engaged through a long intro during a jam. Still, nice atmosphere overall :)
That was fun! Thanks for the game! I’ve built around 20 escape rooms myself, so it was a real pleasure to try out something in that genre. Would be nice to have some sfx to improve the experience
thats good! it reminds me cube escape
Fun game! I enjoyed the writing, it was just the right amount of silly, and some of the puzzles were puzzling. The mannequins took me a minute. I sort of just brute forced the vials, and I had no idea what the time phial was for so I was glad it used itself automatically when I wandered back to the sun room.
It's quite interesting. However, I think the arrows indicating the scene transitions are not very clear in some cases. I didn't notice them at first and was puzzled for a long time. This is a very good game!
@vivid-hallucination Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately brute-forcing the vials is the only way to do it right now. Our original hope was that we could make the spyglass reveal sparkles around the correct bottles but we ran out of time and the method we used for the paintings in the hallway wouldn't carry over in the lab. I'm still really glad you enjoyed the game though! Thanks for playing :D
First point and click I played during this Ludum Dare, good job!
I liked searching for the things, however after the first conversation the text bugged and it only showed one letter.
It's funny! I was hooked for a while, some things were like, "Wow, why is that, this is funny!"
Incredible, it reminds me of the good ol rusty lake series. I got the ref. Joke apart, I'm in love with these kinds of game. About the game itself, I spend too much time at the begining clicking on a door for it to never open. The arrow are far too discreet and it's not an instinctual way of moving. The enigma of the manniquin could use a little bit more explanation, or a hint (unless I missed it, in the case it's okay). Thank you for the game
haa thats hot.
Still didn’t understand what the black "I" text on the book in the shelf means, or the "T" that appears when picking up the code by the door. Got stuck.
This was fun to play, and not too difficult. The story did a good job of being absurd and silly, but still internally consistent and easy to follow. Intuitively, I wanted to have keys tied to movement, like WASD for forward, backward, left and right. For a point and click, you could have a few more things to interact with that didn't directly relate to solutions, so that there's a little more content to explore. Overall, you did a good job of making a complete game.
This was very well done! I think it's just the right difficulty for a short point and click puzzle game, it wasn't trivial, there were a couple times I had to think a little, but I never felt like I was stuck. I like the art, and the dialogue is fun. Very solid all around
Reminds me of old school flash escape the room games. Good puzzles and fun mechanics
Great escape game with a lot of fanciful objects and humorous dialog . Saved it to my itch collection so I can play again sometime.
