The link is not working. I'm getting a 404

Really enjoyed this! I like the card mechanics a lot and the gameplay felt smooth once I got the hang of it. Nice visuals, good job.
The game ramped up really fast, and I wasn't able to kill the enemies nearly fast enough. Kinda interesting concept though, if spawn rates were reduced I could see this being really fun
Had a tough time with the controls sadly. Visual style was really interesting. Nice job!
I think this game has potential, but it hasn't been fully realized yet. The card controls aren't very user-friendly.
Like the concept and the old monitor effect, looks cool cards feel a bit awkward to use, but there’s definitely potential here
nice work 👍
liked the graphics, and good base mechanic, a little confusing in the begining but after try and errors I understand how to use its and the game was much fun then, great job :D
in love with your menus. but the processing on the game visuals kinda made it hard to look at. but a decent little Survivor-like
Wow! This is a wonderful game. I've never seen a card mechanic in a game like this before, and I loved how it felt. The graphics are also very good, and I'm surprised there are so many options in the settings. Great job! :>
Thanks for comment!:3
Fun game! It's really thoughtful of you to include a tutorial, and that also shows your team had great time management! I should've made a tutorial for my game too! I love your low-poly art style and the game's filter — one question though, I bought the sword (attack boost) card, and after I used it the card seemed to disappear. Is it supposed to work passively just by sitting in the inventory?
I actually liked the controls! ranged attacks started to feel natural after a moment. I can see how they would be controversial though. Overall really good entry!
@yuriscat Buff cards after use disappear and give you buff) Thanks for playing!
A cool idea for controlling magic.
There are a few UI elements that could use some refinement, but it’s not a big issue for a game jam experience.
Good job!
@pipetto Got it! Then I probably just didn’t notice it carefully enough. Thanks for clearing that up!!
@yuriscat Yeah, i just don`t have much time to implement this) Thanks for comment!
Nice game, but found a little bit confusing, that I must hold left button with a Magic Ball card to throw it.
@caelestial you don`t must hold left button just click on card or select with keyboard. Thanks for playing!
Pretty polished experience, good smooth gameplay and definitely a game that can grow out of gamejam context! You even have a tutorial! good job!
@thelink Thanks for playing!
Nice execution and a good amount of polish !
Seconding the person talking about too high spawn rate for the enemies, but other than that the game was quite good.
The visuals were nice, great atmosphere! Pretty hard game tho haha, the bulls were so strong.
I liked how responsive the game feels, and overall it looks pretty good. It wasn’t immediately clear that you need to hold the card over the enemy to shoot.
Cool game, but Im kinda confused about theme implementation
@vlaflya I made game without theme jam) Thanks for playing!
Great experience. I struggled a bit to understand controls but had fun overall
The menu immediately made me excited. The gameplay was pretty good, the style was nice. The enemies swarmed me pretty fast, but I don't think I utilized the shop enough. Very polished game in many ways. The arrow pointing to where the enemies are coming from and the enemies even having a visible texture when they are behind trees were features that most of the time jam games wouldn't include so I respect that!
Overall a great experiencia, well done!
It was a nice idea and i really liked the graphics. Sound effects were great, and i really liked how purchases made in the shop produces different levels of tone with the "Ka-ching!" sound effect.
Some notes: - I would have preferred the camera not move when i am trying to click on the shop - I would prefer the projectile attacks to have a much faster fire rate - The passive attacks were a bit hard for me to aim because the card overlay was blocking my view of where i wanted to shoot
I had quite a bit of fun with this one ! I loved the graphics, kinda found the projectiles to be a bit too difficult to avoid
Good work and mood! Thank you!
I really like graphics and the mood. A little bit humiliating to be killed by goats, but that's my fate :)
i liked the idea of cards used as weapons, even tho the controls were a bit janky at times and enemies spawned quite fast. might just be me but where is the signal theme in this?
Nice artstyle and satisfying shop also lots of qol features already, nice addition would be some upgrading/combining of same cards to get a feeling of progression but other than that solid entry. Good Job!
I enjoyed this and played multiples times but it gets hard pretty quickly! As soon as the truck comes out I'm a goner
oh, nice! i only played a bit, and it’s quite challenging.
i liked the card idea, but it was a bit frustrating that the camera keeps moving while choosing a card. maybe it would feel better to lock the camera while the cursor is in the menu, or move it to arrow keys.
overall, feels like a potentially interesting game!
Graphics is very nice! Gameplay is a little difficult but fun! BTW, where is signal?
It's simple, but it's a game! In general, I have nothing more to add, as other commentators have already written everything. But on my own: congratulations on the completed game within the frames of the jam.
Like a few others, I was also wondering the connection to the theme a bit... though I was more puzzled as to why I was killing goats in a forest. It's a neat game and I see you were another one of who decided to play around with a CRT shader.
Cool! Very fun card inventory mechanic. I was quite surprized at the amount of enemy scaling you implimented in your game, the military vehicle shocked me the most. GG! 😁
thats a strange one but I like it! especially graphics!
I think this game would be very cool on a mobile phone. The menu is very detailed, I enjoyed playing with different spell combinations. The game has good potential! The only thing that upset me was the big map icon when you aim. It 's annoying .(It would be nice to replace it with a scope, and just highlight the active map from below. I also didn't see any connection to the jam theme. (maybe I missed something). I think I would have been able to play it with great pleasure if it were a cooperative)). Great project. if you did everything in 72 hours, I really admire you!
🐗 :)
pretty nice game. but topic is not disclosed
An interesting take on a top-down roguelite. The animations feel nice, and the gameplay has a good sense of pace and dynamism.
I loved how dynamic it feels swapping skills during combat and how engaging it is to survive until you have enough for getting what you need from the store. Maybe it could be even more dynamic if there was a shortcut for the store, similarly to the cards, but maybe it does make sense to stop everything to shop.
The systems, by the way are very solid, from the gameplay mechanics to UI.
I kinda miss an endgoal because the player objectives is somewhat redundant: they have to survive until they have enough to shop what they need to keep surviving. I also think it approaches to the theme just too slightly. It's still really fun though.
One last necessary note is about the presentation: it's top-notch! The retro graphics and CRT shader are tremendously charming.
@peak-vinnie Thanks for comment and playing! Also cool idea with binding for the shop!
Enjoyable game, but could use more variety.
An unusual implementation of card battles. It's a shame the "Signal" theme isn't developed further.
Fun magic system and graphics. Didn't feel that it attempted the "signal" theme though.
Really solid game! It actually felt really reactive and smooth, and I think the sound effects helped a lot to make everything feel really polished. Would've liked an ending or a score or something - especially with jam games it's nice to have some kind of objective - but the core gameplay here is super solid and something to be really proud of. Great work!
The lowpoly + retro vision visual effect is quite good. The system construction, including tutorials and menus, is also very complete and impressive. It would be even better if the combat rhythm were optimized - sometimes the enemy density is too high and sometimes too low, and the enemy bullets are fast, making the difficulty high, etc. I look forward to having a large number of enemies in the later stage and my attack power being very strong, just like in other roguelite games.
@jerrywest Thanks for playing! What difficulty did you played?
@irkar I just play after tutorial , repeated several times. then I tried to play hard mode, died in a short time :)
Interesting game. Definitely some potential here. The postprocessing made it a little hard for me to see what was going on. Good effort!
@jerrywest You can try normal mode :)
The graphics is cool and everything looks very polished. Also I like how cards are working. But the gameplay wasn't really fun for me. Nice work anyway!
@nexusasx10 Thanks for comment!
Very unique aesthetic, even if a little hard to read at times. Very dream flavored, in a way.
Well done on the atmosphere and graphics. The only real complaint I have is that the automatically activating spells should really stay in the hotbar and they should instead just have some indicator they are active. Shop could be easily expanded in the future if development was to continue. Overall a good jam game.
A cool game with interesting mechanics!
Pretty fun game all things considered! Was a bit confused how to use the abilities at first, when I found out some of them autofired it made a lot more sense. The aesthetic is pretty solid, and the atmosphere is good with the ambience of the sounds, but I do think it could have used something in the music department (nothing crazy melodic or anything, still leaning into ambience, but something to fill the void a bit). Perhaps I missed something, but I found myself wishing I had a sort of dodge ability when there were a lot of enemies charging at me, and that the freeze ability didn't last as long as I would have expected. Regardless, for a jam game this is definitely solid and I had a fun time!
@thomas-gelman Thanks for comment and playing!)
The actual gameplay of running around and fighting mobs was pretty engaging. Took me a minute to realized that I had to hold the card out in order to fire my magic continuously. That felt like an extra step for a game like this. I like the rogue-like elements of randomly generated abilities in the cards, but actually playing the cards in order to cast abilities felt clunky. Something about the camera movement felt a little off, almost motion sickness inducing (not for me, but I could see that being an issue for others). The sound design was excellent, and the main menu had a ton of style! I killed many goats. Cool game, even it if had nothing to do with signals ;)
This is pretty cool, I like the enemy variety, I got to the point a vehicle just drove in and finished me off. I like the graphics too, even the silly drawings for the cards. I think the most awkward UI thing really is just the card being on the cursor when using a projectile.
Either way, really fun
Cool game, but Im kinda confused about theme implementation
The art style is nice, especially the UI! It is a quite cool and unique concept with the cards. I think it is a great base mechanic for further development. Good entry, it has a lot of potential! :D
