Simple, short, and sweet. Nice entry! Graphics cool

THE HORSE WE MADE by cesta 2026-04-26T16:05:42Z ♥ 2

Technical issues: - The web player had issues playing it - and the unity logo stayed in the foreground of the screen - The Windows EXE will just stay running when i hit QUIT in the main menu, so i had to End the Process in the task manager - Hitting ESC required 2 presses before bringing up the menu.

I thought the direction was fun, and liked the different rooms set up like a digital art exhibition/museum. I would spend time in the rooms looking at the different models / art

The messages at the end were a bit too direct or on-the-nose to me. It felt too much that the author's concrete thoughts or opinions then blended into the piece, rather than being able to form my own interpretation. I feel like having a simple title of the piece, or trying to make the piece closer reflect what the message was trying to convey would have left more of an impact, and would leave more open to the player's own interpretation or "soul."

With that being said, i think i got all the endings and played thru the whole thing, and i enjoyed my time in the game.

Art-style is fantastic. I like the black and white, as well as the over the shoulder angle, and objects have a good billboard effect.

One thing is that sometimes i feel like the enemies could attack me when i felt that visually, i was far enough away to avoid being attacked.

The sound effects are great, as are the visuals, and the way that the camera pans around. Nice work!

ANALOG TUNE OVERRIDE by Arryos 2026-04-24T19:06:39Z ♥ 3

It's a great concept and interesting mechanics. I had fun playing.

I would have preferred that the enemies that change colors have an indicator for when they are about to change, as it was a bit frustrating. I think having Diagonal be the main movement direction felt a bit off.

I really enjoyed the obstacles like the spinning beams where you had to swap colors while navigating thru it. Graphics were cool and the main character was cute.

Good stuff!

Fun game! Sort of reminds me of Papers Please :)

I thought the stuff the little characters were saying on the phone line was funny. Def enjoyed my time spent with this game

ULTRA-RADAR by ZezinhoESR 2026-04-24T17:51:35Z ♥ 0

i like the game. These are the types of games i like to see in game jams. Simple, short, sweet, and arcade-y. controls were good, and concept was good.

One thing is with the SFX, there is an unpleasant click/pop sound with the sound effects. I recommend looking into adding envelopes/fades (not an audio guy so my terminology might be wrong) to the beginning/end of your SFX files, or doing that programatically. Maybe someone else can correct me.

F(R)OG by Egrassah 2026-04-24T17:25:04Z ♥ 2

Great game. Loved the art, SFX, Music, and Mood. Game felt good to play, and didn't take much time to figure out how to play the game from gameplay alone.

I think it would have been nice, that whenever standing on the lightning bugs tile that it would zoom out to provide a bigger view of the map, rather than zooming back in and not having option to zoom back out.

Very charming game!

"Wonderful!"

Awesome game. The strongest entry i've played so far from LD 59. 5 Stars across the board. Made me LOL from the start. The instructions written on your hand, the concept, the speed at which you sprint, the voice FX - all hilarious.

I loved jumping across gaps then scanning an unsuspecting suspect.

One thing that would have improved this a lot would be an indicator like in the knuckles levels in sonic adventure to let you know when you are close to a baddie.

art was great. I like this style of game. Reminds me of Peasant's Quest from homestar runner. Those were the days....

Would have preferred the character movement to be faster

Mama Duck Hero by runningopenloop 2026-04-24T16:23:54Z ♥ 1

The environment/graphics were great. Had a very nostalgic vibe. I liked the green against the blues. I liked the concept, however, sometimes it was hard to feed individual ducklings that needed to eat and they perished. I think having a more pikmin-like system of selecting specific ducklings would have helped a lot. And having hunger meters would have helped too.

I would have preferred the controls not be tanky/car-like.

Sound effects were great and very funny! Music was also great - i love how minimal and relaxing it is.

NetHacking by DryDiamond 2026-04-24T16:15:37Z ♥ 4

Good jam entry. Graphics, Audio, and Mood all awesome. I would have preferred the camera were zoomed out all the way, as there were many times were i could not see where i was supposed to be aiming. Nonetheless, I tried multiple times until i was able to hack all the routers.

I especially liked the way the enemies would encircle the the routers. It felt similar to donkey kong country levels with all the barrels that you use to shoot yourself out of.

Cyber Resonator (Spicy Hot Chocolate 5) by Kartoffel Licht 2026-04-24T16:08:17Z ♥ 1

I really like the audio and art a lot. I like how the art looks MS-Painty to me in a good way. Or maybe gives flash game vibes - again in a good way. The song sounds really good and matches the environment very well. I just like more ambient minimal piano. The audio definitely goes against the grain in a good way.

Unfortunately, the enemy dying animation and the rotation of the level made me feel nauseous and i had to stop playing shortly into my experience.

Occult Ace by IRKAR 2026-04-24T16:01:43Z ♥ 1

It was a nice idea and i really liked the graphics. Sound effects were great, and i really liked how purchases made in the shop produces different levels of tone with the "Ka-ching!" sound effect.

Some notes: - I would have preferred the camera not move when i am trying to click on the shop - I would prefer the projectile attacks to have a much faster fire rate - The passive attacks were a bit hard for me to aim because the card overlay was blocking my view of where i wanted to shoot

Warden of the Depths by Alex de la Cour 2026-04-24T02:23:54Z ♥ 1

The graphics are pretty good, but the combat was difficult for me to do. Telegraphing animations are good for enemies, however it often felt like i would get hit by an enemy when it did not visually look as though i was within the range or frame of an enemy attack.

Great game. Love the hologram/signal graphics and how the puzzle mechanics are revealed.
