I enjoyed the different card combinations and the results I could get, definitely kept me playing a few rounds.

j3m 2026-04-21 12:13

I feel like I'm playing a Shockwave game in 2004 for a Cartoon Network show that never existed! (in a good way) I love all the aliens, I did feel it was a shame the relationship between inputs and outputs felt a little inscrutable, so it was difficult to play with any real sense of intent. Maybe a fuller version would have a richer set of mechanics for manipulating the coordinates?

robin-schmitz 2026-04-21 12:39

Wow! Such a great looking, nice sounding and curiosity sparking game :).

It's very satisfying to select the punch cards, I really like the detail of the see-through asthetics of the symbols on the cards and that the expected result is shown immediately, when hovering the cards. The sounds are crisp and fit well. The overall graphics are astonishing! I like the animation of aliens arriving and leaving.

I should maybe not be the one making calls as to who to invite to form a government though x) Had some pretty contradicting policies going on. 'Bureaucracy' on the one hand, 'Freedom' in the other. Well, turns out officials take the freedom for themselfes :D Oopsie.

Great entry, really well done!

2026-04-21 17:32

i love all kinds of alien designs

orjan 2026-04-21 20:03

Beautiful game! The art style really reminds me of the old Cartoon Network style. Great work!

2026-04-21 20:07

I thought I had it, until the evil alien appeared. Great anticipation and building. Although I'm not quite sure if I understood it completely, I did enjoy it and would play it again! Great art design, visuals and sound!

2026-04-21 20:22

I'm not entirely sure how the traits are chosen, but the game is beautiful, fun to play, and you can play it over and over again! Love the Sound FX too! Well done :)

nordus 2026-04-21 21:10

flowerfield-games 2026-04-21 22:18

Really fun concept on the signal theme. I love the graphics! Good job

stalemeat 2026-04-21 22:47

This was a different experience. Really cool idea for a jam game. Nice and clean with great art and style. I wasn't sure if I was playing this right but after the days were up and I got the results, I understood the concept.

2026-04-22 07:18

This alien game has such a great vibe, and the soundtrack is really fun! I do feel like it's a tiny bit on the easy side, but it’s absolutely gorgeous to look at. Awesome job!

2026-04-22 07:37

Love the idea and especially the music, very fascinating! I played for two rounds but both ended up in the dark forest ahhhhh

woooo 2026-04-22 08:15

A creative concept, really reminds me of the kind of cartoons I'd watch as a kid. The alien theme fits the theme perfectly. Really nice design work too.

ribout-horace 2026-04-22 09:59

I've got the bad ending!

Very cool visual with a fun concept, discovering the new alien is a reward enough to push you through replay ; and the different ending help too. I'm still a little disapointed that my first ending was a "you have no art anymore" while I have the "inspiration" perk.

dk5000p 2026-04-22 16:06

The art design is amazing. Hoping there might be a good ending, but seems futile. Maybe just don't communicate with aliens.

yodak 2026-04-22 18:32

The artstyle, sound effects and music are spectecular! It's pretty fun to combine things and look what results they bring.

phoenix-fireflower 2026-04-22 18:43

On my first attempt, I immediately got the worst ending. On the second attempt I seem to have found the best ending. Great artwork and music!

Really nice sound design/music and visuals!

catanus 2026-04-23 17:09

Love it! Sound effects and visuals are great. The amount of endings is impressive.IMG_7053.jpeg

hotaloca 2026-04-23 17:29

Really nice game! I love the card design very much - reminds me quite for traditional heritage art - I always wanted a game which has this kind of design, so nice to see it in action. I also greatly appreciate the ethical choices/dilemmas which will bring different endings. And the sounds are so nice done as well. Loved the long echo when the messages were sent. So cool!

500 2026-04-24 03:23

I like this art style! This makes my gaming experience great! The feel of the game can be further improved

ingviild 2026-04-24 05:24

Wow! The game has a really interesting concept.

I loved trying out combinations to see the different aliens—they're all so beautifully drawn! And the graphics overall are super cool!

2026-04-24 17:29

The character design was great

igor-silva-19 2026-04-24 17:33

Great one! Got myself playing couple rounds to see different endings I can get nice job!

zozieee 2026-04-24 17:39

This is awesome! I loved the different endings and all of the art. The sound design and music is also really enjoyable. I had a lot of fun playing :D

bumble 2026-04-24 21:06

Those pesky worms ate my civilization twice! But then I got utopia

This just straight up feels like a finished game. Incredible what your team achieved in that small amount of time!

half-animal-half-beast 2026-04-24 23:10

interesting and well polished game!

i got ending 10/16. a lot of games struggle to make even one, and you have 16 haha, nice work!

exteegi 2026-04-26 02:59

Really cute game! I'm incredibly impressed by the art! I got Ending 1 "Golden Age".

zathnic 2026-04-26 14:16

Feels like it could use some more player agency aside from just selecting cards, but the visuals and alien designs are nice, and good job managing to add 16 different endings!

ginkgo-biloba 2026-04-26 17:26

I really like the design of the aliens and their magical tone

aniretti 2026-04-27 19:06

aniretti 2026-04-27 19:06

@500 thank you so much for playing our game and for your feedback, we really appreciate it! we’d love to hear more details: what do you think we could improve? what did you enjoy, and what didn’t work for you? also, could you clarify what you meant by “the feel”? were you referring to the gameplay or the UX/UI?

aniretti 2026-04-27 19:07

@zathnic yes, we were actually planning to add dialogue options in the future to make the gameplay more varied and engaging. however, within the scope of the jam, it would have been a bit too much :D

thank you for playing our game and for sharing your thoughts!

aniretti 2026-04-27 19:17

@ribout-horace oh, we hope the experience didn’t disappoint you too much :(

as someone mentioned in the comments, we wanted to you explore ethical questions. we wanted to convey the idea that “not everything that seems good is truly good”. even if things appear positive on the surface, there might be hidden motives or consequences behind them.

it’s possible that alongside the effect of “inspiration,” you also gained effect “bureaucracy” or other effects, and this is why human creativity becomes less valued in society. anyway thank you for playing and sharing your feelings about gameplay!

aniretti 2026-04-27 19:28

@j3m yes, we actually had an idea to add a 3D coordinate model to better visualize where exactly the coordinates are being sent. we have a large team, but unfortunately, not a single 3D artist :D in any case, we’ll do our best to improve and refine the gameplay, thanks for your feedback!

soundgnome 2026-04-29 05:15

There's got to be an Invader Zim Easter egg in there somewhere, right?

anszwa 2026-04-29 09:53

Really great interpretation of the theme! I really liked the different aliens. fantastic designs.

The music is incredible and adds so much to the atmosphere in a very positive way. I hope you keep working on this game, because I think theres a big audience that would love this kind of experience!

aniretti 2026-04-29 14:25

@soundgnome haha, unfortunately not. i think it's really worth adding in future updates, thank you!

aniretti 2026-04-29 14:26

@anszwa thank you for your kind words, they are very inspiring!

wallted 2026-04-29 23:56

FANTASTIC GAME. I LOVE IT TO THE EVERY BIT. This game speaks straight into my soul without any resisting force, with every aspect of it. I am speechless. I am inspired. I am giving you 5 stars in all categories. Let this speak for itself.

This is so poetic - at the moment, your entry was the only one that had broken miniature in the games section (I guess ldjam is having some hiccups) and something spoke to me to give you a chance.

pimeko 2026-04-30 00:06

Wow I didn't expect that! Pretty unique and original concept, a mix of Papers please! and building a socially working civilization haha I felt the link between the stats and their consequences wasn't obvious to me, but loved the mood, graphics, sound fx and general effort, great entry :)

2026-04-30 08:52

Good game and 5-star theme development

kenoshka 2026-04-30 09:54

cool idea, cool graphics, cool music at the worst ending) i think this kind of communication system could really fit well into some kind of strategy games

aniretti 2026-04-30 11:16

@wallted haha thank you! im glad, that you like our game and thank you so much for playing!

yes, unfortunately we have problem with thumbnail for a few days, i hope this problem fixes in a short time

aniretti 2026-04-30 11:17

@pimeko @alexey-bobrovskiy @kenoshka thank you for playing and leaving warm feedback!

ping78 2026-04-30 11:21

The attention to detail in this game is impressive. The art and sound effects all work together effectively and the music absolutely slaps. Well done.

iluvatar 2026-04-30 20:08

Very impressive and original idea. The execution is very well done. I think the strongest point of this game is the atmosphere, art and the believability of the worldbuilding. It is seriously so well done. And maaan, that music is so right my alley. That Bladerunner-esque synth... LOVE IT!

pipetto 2026-05-01 05:14

A great game! I liked the idea, and the art is absolutely stunning.

It seems like the card distribution isn’t randomized - at the start of the game, it’s always the same. It would be nice to have a bit more variety in that regard.

aniretti 2026-05-01 14:23

@ping78 @iluvatar thank you very much for playing and leaving comments! :)

@pipetto thank you for playing and your feedback! yep, the cards are not random. you have basic cards (Earth cards), then there are the cards the aliens give you — these are cards with items from their planet. unfortunately, we simply didn't have time to visually indicate this.

yes, in the future we would like to diversify the game as a whole. rework the card system, add more dialogue options or maybe even new races :) subscribe to itch and stay tuned!

anete-ainjarv 2026-05-01 19:36

Wow this is such a well put together game! The attention to detail is so admirable, I really loved the sudden change of music for the dark forest ending :) The art is awesome, I don't know how you managed to pull off such great visuals in the short amount of time we were given, but kudos to the team!

quackqack 2026-05-04 09:56

Managed to get the Utopia ending on my first try!

Lovely art and sound design, one of the best looking games I have played for the jam. Well done!

brawnyfrogmouth 2026-05-04 18:08

Loved the art style, the music, and the alien designs! It was fun to try and min/max one of the three categories. I didn't realize you gained cards from the visiting aliens, would love to play an extended version if this! I feel the ending I got didn't give me enough credit tho /s ending8.png

ao-85 2026-05-07 03:02
