Apr 21 12:03:00 Yobuds ♥ 1 It's like arcade lemmings XD Everything in this game is well designed, from the title screen tutorial guiding you into the gameplay, to the way that the different game elements tie together (like projectiles that don't kill you becoming an opportunity to gain more "life"). The art and audio are super cute as well. Great job!
Apr 21 12:36:40 33m 40s Delicious Letters ♥ 1 Amazing degree of polish and extremely stylish. Every interaction is satisfying and the textual content is really fun. The only thing I missed was a way to cancel writing a letter once started so I could choose to ignore instead if the available options don't suit.
Apr 21 12:52:24 15m 44s The Flame ♥ 1 This is a fun way to tell a story! The way the campers react when you pick them up is really fun. It's a bit weird when somebody chops down a tree but then finds nothing though... The endings were great, I played a second time and just threw everybody in the fire to see what would happen XD
Apr 21 13:01:21 8m 57s LAIKA ♥ 1 LOOOOL! How did you make a UI so exciting and funny?? Just like your old laika, this game's got a lot of heart! Love it!
Apr 21 13:18:31 17m 10s Kaoamaru Kaiju ♥ 2 Nice and moody, but I wasn't really sure what was going on to be honest! As you said, more of a movie than a game, and maybe a bit too much lore to explore in a jam. I struggle with that a lot myself in the ideas I have for jams.
Apr 21 13:36:31 18m 00s Runaway ♥ 1 Nice idea and really nice art! The feedback on the shooting is a bit hard to interpret though, and I didn't really understand the cover system. I got pretty far by just ignoring it and just firing and hoping. If I were to change one thing about this game it would probably be to have the enemies go down in one shot - maybe with an increased number of them to compensate.
Apr 21 14:35:49 59m 18s Keep it afloat! ♥ 4 Yarrr tis a fine game! It feels really satisfying to get into a rhythm and make progress, just like with real sea-shanties (I'd imagine)! Great work! Edit: Forgot to mention how much I love the art, that paper cutouts wobbling about aesthetic!
Apr 21 14:51:48 15m 59s hoarde. ♥ 1 I didn't like the music, but aside from that this a very enjoyable game - a simple concept well executed, with just enough visual flair to make it interesting. Nicely done!
Apr 21 20:59:20 6h 07m DODGE IT ♥ 0 Wow I love that art, so crisp and clear and communicative. Lovely. The gameplay is excellent as well, simple but well executed with a well-paced difficulty curve.
Apr 22 12:46:41 15h 47m Keep It Alive ♥ 1 Phew, nerve-wracking! Beautiful art and perfect difficulty curve as well as a well told story, really fantastic entry.
Apr 22 12:58:04 11m 23s Social Distance Enforcers ♥ 1 Fun game! I got 5000 something points. It's interesting that there's no penalty for missing beats if you don't swing.
Apr 23 08:55:21 19h 57m DJ Hamster ♥ 1 What a delightful retrospective! I liked how inherently rewarding having the music play at the right speed was, independent of the gameplay effects it had. The graphics are super cute too. The hitboxes on the bad objects are a bit big and for some records it is hard to tell which is which. Minor complaints though - a really great game overall!
Apr 23 09:44:17 48m 56s B R U I S E S ♥ 0 Gorgeous art and a great atmosphere. The story is intriguing but I can't seem to find a conclusion to it. I really enjoyed what I played anyway, it's extremely well put together and well written.
Apr 23 18:01:27 8h 17m Dance Commander ♥ 3 Great concept and art. I personally found it very difficult to make progress, I couldn't even beat the level that was just the bouncer, he just kept following me and hammering on my guys 🙁 The auras didn't show for me in Firefox but I switched to Chrome and that was fine. It's cool though, with a few tweaks to the difficulty I would love to play it again.
Apr 25 21:39:52 51h 38m Manual Breathing ♥ 2 That's fun! The character art is super cute and the idea of having to manually breathe is novel and interesting. Focusing on that while also trying to pay attention to the jumps was definitely challenging. It really made me appreciate the automatic breathing that I take for granted!
Apr 25 22:05:09 25m 17s Angst ♥ 4 Gorgeous art! Ye fit a lot in in the time ye had. It didn't seem to me that there was enough to do in the real-world environment, it was just there for a moment and then back to a blackout. In the blackout environment I was a little unsure what I was doing - just trying to find something new to interact with each time? It's an important topic anyway and the game communicated the struggle well, so kudos on that. I look forward to playing the post-jam version!
Apr 26 09:03:41 10h 58m Nightwatch ♥ 2 Great atmosphere, it feels really spooky beyond the campsite, and the diary entries are really fun. I like the low-poly 3D art as well, it's a great style. All the interactions were very clear and explained well in-game. Good work!
Apr 26 09:20:40 16m 59s the ruins ♥ 1 Solid platforming with a unique (and thematic!) twist, good work! I'd love to play it again with some sound and music.
Apr 26 09:38:06 17m 26s Robot Walk ♥ 1 Pretty cool for what it is. The walk mechanics are amazing and based on your post-mortem I think the ideas you had would have worked out really well if you'd had the time to implement them. I love the idea of piloting this guy around a world getting into mischief.
Apr 26 09:53:55 15m 49s The Outer Planets: Legacy of Ganymede Station (TOPLOGS) by Darren Kearney ♥ 1 Nice concept, and a great intro. I would love to be able to explore this station through successive generations.
Apr 26 10:11:19 17m 24s Earth 2.0 ♥ 2 Short, but intense! I like the art.
Apr 26 10:44:12 32m 53s Socks ♥ 1 The art in this game is gorgeous, and it feels extremely polished with the UI effects. I like that the sock patterns don't move with the character, and change its ear colour, it's a small thing but it's a cool look! It really needs some sound so that I can leave it running in the background when the skunk goes to sleep, but know to go back when it wakes up - plus it would really just finish off an excellent game.
Apr 26 19:20:45 8h 36m Keeping SNES Alive! ♥ 2 Great concept! Cool to see something developed for an old console.
Apr 26 19:24:17 3m 32s Woodpunk ♥ 1 Really great stuff - excellent art and music, and quite complex gameplay for a jam. I couldn't find a way to make progress on all of the quests I encountered, but I really enjoyed what I played anyway. Good work team!
Apr 26 19:37:59 13m 42s Don't Drop The Egg! ♥ 0 Tough but fair - mostly; I think the physics on the air currents are a bit too unpredictable. The quick restart kept me trying though! Great fun altogether, with tight controls and lovely art and music.
May 3 11:05:37 159h 27m Soul Blazer ♥ 1 Gruesome! I was a bit confused at first, but once I figured out how to get out of the first room I really enjoyed it. Art is great and the music is well chosen.
May 7 15:15:26 100h 09m Morphology ♥ 0 Wow, real nice game, super polished! The art is gorgeous and I like the way the world building is woven into the gameplay.
May 7 15:27:54 12m 28s Protektor ♥ 1 Really good - satisfying twitchy gameplay, interesting graphical style, and a great soundtrack. Nice work!
May 7 16:28:24 1h 00m Keep It Ticking! ♥ 3 Great concept and the graphics are really gorgeous. Quite tough, but fun, and very satisfying when you coordinate a sequence really well. The "desyncing" is definitely not fixed unfortunately, and when you get to the part above the starting area it becomes a big problem as the clones rarely make it to where they are needed.
May 7 18:53:07 2h 24m goose no lose ♥ 1 I like it a lot! The super-minimal art is really cute and effective, as are the interactions. It gets tough on the third level, I had to leave a lot of someones behind 😢
May 7 19:21:45 28m 38s Interstellar Connection ♥ 1 A really well told story tied together perfectly by compelling puzzles. One of the highlights of the jam for me!
May 7 19:43:52 22m 07s No Fish To Die ♥ 0 Really creative and really tough (I couldn't get very far tbh, but it was fun enough that I was compelled to keep trying). The art is super cute and the intro was really funny. Great job overall!
May 8 09:19:49 13h 35m Slimekeep ♥ 0 Nice, it's really fun trying to corral the slimes and then mowing into them all. The art is cute but slime colours that contrasted with the background would have been nice. I thought you were going for a gameboy thing, but then there is some pink as well... It also seemed like bullets were going through slimes quite often. Still, it was a fun time despite that, good job!
May 8 09:37:23 17m 34s Mainframe overload ♥ 1 Very fun! It's really satisfying to smack those things with my keyboard for some reason, even if that is mostly a backup to the turrets. I didn't realize there was a second computer until it was too late to save it, but I did alright just focusing on the one anyway. I love the moody lighting as well and the music is great. Great work overall!
May 8 09:46:00 8m 37s Headbutt ♥ 1 Really gorgeous aesthetic and satisfying gameplay, I love it.
May 10 13:26:33 51h 40m Derelict: Gaia Protocol ♥ 1 I love the intro, it really sets the mood, and the gameplay is a well tuned balancing act that was very compelling. I couldn't tell if the graphics were glitched out - everything I placed was a hashed box - but it didn't really matter that much because the colouring of the terrain communicated everything I needed to know.
May 10 13:50:46 24m 13s light. ♥ 1 Really well polished, gorgeous looking and excellent, atmospheric music. I did find it a bit hard to grab the obstacles, but overall I can hardly believe that this is a compo entry, it's amazing!
May 10 14:03:03 12m 17s Program has stopped working ♥ 1 The shooting is the opposite direction to what I expected, which was a bit confusing at first, but once I got used to it it was pretty interesting. Really needs some more audio, but a fun game otherwise.
May 10 14:40:29 37m 26s Pupa ♥ 1 Great stuff, and really well polished. It's very interesting to learn how things interact. I admit I did get a bit impatient after I got to the eagles and cheated a bit to see the rest of the game. Could do with some music and sound effects, but other than that a really great game.
May 11 12:41:54 22h 01m Tiny Fragments ♥ 1 Bloody amazing, so polished and fun to play.
May 11 12:51:41 9m 47s Zombie Horde ♥ 0 That's really fun! The difficulty ramps up well and I had to play it a couple of times before I figured out my strategy. Good job team!
May 11 15:03:59 2h 12m SheepShot ♥ 0 That starts to get quite tough after a while, and it's really fun when that challenge kicks in! The art is really cute, gameplay's great... The only area this game falls down is in the audio, which is serviceable, but could be a lot better.
May 11 15:13:52 9m 53s a Very Talented Worm ♥ 1 Cool art style, and the gameplay is quite tense, I like it!
May 11 15:41:07 27m 15s Soul Dungeon ♥ 1 This is really cool, it sort of boils down the genre to its basic elements. Unfortunately it doesn't really become challenging at any point. If the difficulty ramp continued I think this would be really compelling gameplay - as it is I've played to room 25 and I kinda want to go back for more. Great aesthetic as well, very clear communicative iconography. I'm sure it goes without saying that some audio would improve the sense of reward for the player's actions and increase the longevity of the game. I hope you build on this because I'd love to have it to play on mobile.
May 11 16:06:14 25m 07s Pet Rock Simulator ♥ 1 Fun concept! I expected from the title that it would be a joke game with just a rock and nothing happening, so I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of interactivity. I especially liked the rod.
May 11 16:15:02 8m 48s Juggle Jungle ♥ 1 The egg kept just breaking in mid-air at one point so I had to stop - but I enjoyed myself up until that! I like the kind of spooky music...
May 11 16:42:01 26m 59s Fuel Onward! ♥ 2 Great aesthetic, and the captain is a fun character. I couldn't figure out a strategy to get through the storm unfortunately.
May 11 16:57:08 15m 07s Ninjalloony Balloon ♥ 0 The sound effects really make this, great stuff! The gameplay is quite satisfying when you figure it out, but it doesn't really escalate. The slow motion thing just blacked out my screen, which I assume is a bug, but I didn't really need to use it anyway. Good job overall, fun concept!
May 11 17:11:09 14m 01s They will be alive! (Of course if you save them) ♥ 0 I can kinda see what you were going for, but it is very incomplete as I think you know. I would probably reduce or remove the cooldown on the gun (or maybe that was part of what you had planned for the gold, upgrades and the like?) and maybe also make the shooting mouse based to make it a bit more lively. The low poly art is really nice.
May 11 17:36:36 25m 27s Run for their lives ♥ 0 Graphics and audio are nice, but the movement is too slow, I only managed to save two or three babies.
May 11 17:49:57 13m 21s Dude Dont Die ♥ 0 Decently shooty shooty bang bang. Good job.
May 11 17:55:41 5m 44s Dont' Drown ♥ 0 Fun concept and nice art! I think the button should have slightly more effect, I could really only get the water to stay at whatever level it had reached, rather than go down. Fun though!
May 11 20:14:35 2h 18m @73N: KEEP. HIM. ALIVE. ♥ 0 Really styish, I love the art and visual effects, as well as the music and SFX. Super polished entry. I couldn't figure out how to get the combiner to work though! Picking and placing things is a little bit awkward as well, especially when things get crowded. Very cool entry overall though.
May 11 20:45:10 30m 35s Sector 7G ♥ 0 It's pretty cool but I couldn't find a use for most of the items. Some indication of how heat is flowing might be a good idea. The art is real nice.
May 11 20:59:16 14m 06s Experiment #0 ♥ 0 Looks real nice, but way too advanced for me!
May 12 13:43:48 16h 44m theColony ♥ 1 Very nice art, I like the variety of planets. The map overlay is cool as well. There's not much challenge to it right now but what is there is well polished.
May 12 13:54:36 10m 48s Mother Of Dragon ♥ 0 I love that hand-drawn art, great stuff! The gameplay has a good balance of elements and is just the right level of difficulty and length for a jam. Good job!
