Apr 24 04:04:16 City Surgeon ♥ 3 I really liked the concept, but I was sad I only got three level! The control scheme was a bit difficult to use as you couldn't really tell how your mouse movement affect the crane exactly, but the game was fun anyway. I hope to see a few more levels of this.
Apr 24 04:17:17 13m 01s Maze Ship ♥ 1 The concept was interesting, but it was kind of annoying with the way the ship would get stuck to walls. Level 3 also lacked a sense of direction, and I was just wandering for a while. Not bad, but I'd like some music if I'm going to be wandering
Apr 24 04:23:41 6m 24s The Tale of Witchnook ♥ 1 All in all incredibly impressive game. I can't believe it was all built and arted and composed during the jam, incredible. Now if I could just click on those darn rabbits....
Apr 24 04:33:12 9m 31s Puzzle Dungeon ♥ 1 Now this is beautiful implementation of the theme. Beautiful art and an incredibly solid implementation too.
Apr 24 04:37:04 3m 52s C://TEXTRIS.EXE ♥ 0 The windows download doesn't work, missing UnityPlayer.dll. I'll be back to see it when it works.
Apr 24 04:45:26 8m 22s Polix 3D - a Ludum Dare 41 game ♥ 0 Super cool game. I really had fun playing it. It did start to slow down on me after a few seconds though, and I don't have a weak computer. So many things bouncing around. My high score was 3030.
Apr 24 04:51:23 5m 57s Putt Putt Boom ♥ 1 It's a super unique concept, but the problem is that by playing well, you make it harder to end a round. I find it a lot less satisfying to draw something out rather than outright win
Apr 24 04:59:48 8m 25s Puzzle Invasion! ♥ 1 Beautiful game. I love the whole concept and execution, it plays fantastically. The only complaint I have is that I can't move fast enough. The rest is incredible!
Apr 24 23:25:15 18h 25m Groove Chase ♥ 1 Really crazy! I had a lot of trouble getting my fingers around to the up/down combos but I ended up with a 594. Sometimes though, it seemed like certain combos didn't work. I don't think I ever got a full up/down/left/right combo to work together.
Apr 24 23:34:59 9m 44s Flying over Farm ♥ 0 I really enjoyed the bit I played, but the game crashed when I attempted to upgrade the lazer. It was tough trying to kill the plantships without dying myself! Give me a shout when it actually works and I'll try again!
Apr 24 23:54:00 19m 01s FARMACY ♥ 2 I wanted the enemies to chase me! I loved the idea and what was there of the execution, I just had no reason to fight. I also suggest making things a bit snappier. When I transition out or into a scene, I can keep moving during the fade-out or in. It makes it hard to know when I'm actually transitioning. Also, when you go back to the farm, you can go down/right and get out of the farm.
Apr 24 23:58:04 4m 04s Celauss - An Epic Realtime CCG Space Battle Game ♥ 2 The game was just too easy! I appreciate the detail in the battle simulation, but I could win every time just dumping my hand into the field. I wanted more challenge in it, I do like the combination of a Hearthstone style game with a strategy sim game.
Apr 25 00:02:52 4m 48s Raceman ♥ 1 I didn't finish the level. I wanted to but the zooming in/out started to give me nausea, I recommend lessening that. The driving controls were tough on a keyboard. ALSO, YOU GOT THE MAP WRAP RIGHT, YOU GET AN EXTRA HALF POINT :)
Apr 25 03:36:50 3h 33m Twin TV ♥ 0 Honestly, best execution I've seen so far. Great concept too, I had loads of fun on it. I had a lot of trouble on the harder switching levels because I couldn't hit them while they were moving. Only real complaint I have though. Great game!
Apr 25 03:44:27 7m 37s FetchQuest ♥ 1 I lover the style! The platforming was kind of rough, moving exactly onto the things when they passed was more difficult than it had to be with the way the controls worked.
Apr 25 03:53:37 9m 10s Trivia Runner ♥ 1 I had a ton of fun with the questions, though there wasn't much interactivity with the shooting, just spam the shit out of the spacebar. I wish I could've messed with some stuff aside from spamming.
Apr 25 04:01:03 7m 26s Solid Chef ♥ 0 Interesting idea, but I found it a bit confusing. I didn't have any clue why the pot stopped, for example. A bit better feedback would help.
Apr 25 04:15:38 14m 35s A Type Of Rhythm ♥ 2 Fun concept, but I couldn't seem to consistently get the rhythm. I don't know if it was an issue with my computer or if it was just really precise, but I consistently stayed the same in relation to the beat and inconsistently got credit.
Apr 25 04:43:20 27m 42s Space Miner ♥ 2 I found it a bit frustrating how I couldn't see my own health. Other than that, the gameplay was fun. The lack of sound cues hurt my ability to mine further out, as I couldn't tell when to go back and replace batteries.
Apr 25 05:01:39 18m 19s Friends of Rose ♥ 0 The game was interesting, but the timings were really tight in some stages. If you were going for difficult, you got it! For your first time into unity it was really good. I didn't really notice the theme as something unique or weird about the game though, it was just kinda there and I thought the songs were just whatever you felt fit the level the best (TNT sure did).
Apr 25 05:12:14 10m 35s CARED ♥ 3 Incredible art! It was incredible alone and it set the mood really well. The game fit together really really well. No complaints there. The only issue was that the application of the theme is really just interpretation, it doesn't feel like there were any considerations made game-wise.
Apr 25 05:23:56 11m 42s Card 'Em Up ♥ 0 Highest score was 2888! One of the best games I've played so far. It took me a couple times to realize not using a card would damage me, it would be nice if that was made more clear. The take on combining two genres was the cleanest I've seen. Incredible game for LD. Super clean and sharp idea, great execution. I seen it as sort of a card-strategy + bullet hell game, and I love bullet hell games. The limited choice when choosing actions made the bullet-helling way harder, and it was a fun challenge!
Apr 25 05:31:52 7m 56s Crystal Library ♥ 2 The music, art, and lighting really worked together to give that creepy mood, well done on that. I enjoyed having to explore and try to get around the enemies to continue on my exploration of the dungeon. The locked doors really went far in this. Great game!
Apr 25 05:38:16 6m 24s Arithmetris ♥ 1 Honestly, great implementation of tetris, and interesting idea, but the tetris ruleset really breaks down when you can fully brick a row. I strugged managing my field to ensure I could satisfy equations. I really enjoy the idea, but I'm not sure if there's a way to make it work. Great work on the technical side though, it works fantastically
Apr 25 05:47:16 9m 00s Final Football Tactics ♥ 1 I really liked the concept, and I found it incredibly smooth to play using keyboard. I also got stuck on the 6th level, however. I enjoy these kinds of puzzle games and would love to see that fixed so I can play more!
Apr 25 05:54:12 6m 56s Retrograde ♥ 2 Really interesting game, though I think the game was bugged out on my a bit. it wouldn't show me more words sometimes. I don't know if I was making mistakes or if it was a bug. I thoroughly enjoyed the concept though, and if the bugs were fixed it would be an incredible LD game.
Apr 25 06:19:51 25m 39s Falling Labyrinth ♥ 2 Great game! Absolute best implementation of the theme I've found so far. I loved the frantic multitasking. The only complaint I have is the difficulty of determining how much damage you did. Also, I found that at some points, the first battles seemed impossible. I wasn't sure if accidentally selecting something you were out of MP for hurt you or just cost you the turn or what. I guess in all, a little more feedback to the player as to their action in battle would be really nice. There's a lot of criticism in there, but I assure you that I loved the game. Great idea, great implementation, those are just details. I really enjoyed it!
Apr 25 06:30:31 10m 40s Underground ♥ 2 I really liked the graphics! I had a lot of trouble controlling the car using an XBox 360 controller, though I still made it all the way through a race. I had a lot of trouble clipping out of the play field, which was kind of annoying.
Apr 25 17:47:41 11h 17m A Tale of Two Towers ♥ 1 The game was really enjoyable, but I didn't feel like anything really happened. I could upgrade stuff, but I couldn't recruit units, so raiding the other guy was really just a waiting game. If I could've purchased units it would have been a 5/5 game!
Apr 25 18:06:31 18m 50s Fightin' Words - Real Typing Strategy ♥ 0 I'm really loving these text-based games! The only criticism I have is the lack of ability to turn less than 90 degrees. Other than that, it was a great game. Spamming fire got a bit tough though, guess I need to get better at typing.
Apr 25 18:15:24 8m 53s Harvest Blood Moon ♥ 1 Best I got was 104.11. The only problem I had was lining up with tools, the rest was great. A lot to remember, but great. It was a ton of fun playing the game though!
Apr 25 18:25:17 9m 53s Tidal ♥ 1 I couldn't get past the tall platform stack, couldn't figure it out. I tried for a while, but I just couldn't figure it out. Ping me and say if I was dumb or if there's a way. I really liked what I saw and I'd like to finish it.
Apr 25 18:46:45 21m 28s Space Garden ♥ 2 I think I found a bug. When I reloaded, it didn't let me use anything, so I had to close the game and reopen it, this was in HTML 5. I couldn't get the rocket to the last dot thing though! I couldn't figure out how to get enough plants going to sustain myself, I only made it about 3/4s of the way there. Really fun for what I've played though! Also, second playthrough, I noticed that the ramp on the bottom left sometimes became unlit, it was weird.
Apr 25 19:15:22 28m 37s Guan's Island ♥ 1 Super impressive game! I liked the platformer/metroidvania/rpg deal. The only problem I had with it was my jump sometimes not registering while I was running. It made it a bit difficult and frustrating, but I still finished it. Great game!
Apr 25 19:39:09 23m 47s Grantchester Meadows ♥ 2 Really impressive game for LD! I really enjoy clicker games and TD games, so this was a pretty nice combination. The only real complaint I have is that it was too easy. I upgraded everything and I had no troubles with anything! The idea of a choice between buying more clicker things or upgrading towers is pretty nice though. As well, I'd like to see a timer thing on the buy screen, it was hard to know when to stop buying. Also, I guessed it was a bug, but you can sit on the screens before and after the TD phase and farm money.
Apr 29 01:39:59 78h 00m aVOID ♥ 0 The game felt a little too governed by RNG. I felt like I could push forward really well, but at some point I could also hit a wall and just not be able to progress because of dead ends or no paths going up. Making this more skill based could be nice, but as a simple game it worked well this was.
Apr 29 01:52:34 12m 35s Twin Stick Town ♥ 1 Incredibly polished game for LD! I felt like there was some interaction between the builds blocking your bullets that was unaccounted for in design. Also, my funds didn't carry over when I didn't use them all, that was kind of annoying. Otherwise great game!
Apr 29 02:12:10 19m 36s Beet Boy ♥ 1 Incredible game for a Ludum Dare, the switch between top down and platformer was kind of reminiscent of Celeste for me, with their space looking blocks. The game was a little clunky control-wise. It felt odd to immediately use your one air-jump after exiting a topdown area. Also, the edges of the top down area that let you fall down were really odd to me, they looked like you should still be in it. Finally, the camera was a bit shakey. Oh, I also wanted DPad support, love my DPads. The levels were really awesome and the amount of content was crazy!
Apr 29 02:36:30 24m 20s Harvest Rune ♥ 1 The game felt really well polished aside from one thing. I didn't feel as though I got any feedback on when things damaged me or what caused it. I felt like slimes could jump on me without any damage - sometimes. It was odd, but that's my only complaint. As people have already said, the transition from inside to outside is awesome!
Apr 29 02:57:00 20m 30s Line'em up ♥ 3 I loved the concept and gameplay, top notch! I did noticed some problems with lining up with the thing you wanted to shoot. Sometimes I'd appear to be lined up with one and shoot the one next to it. I did like how if you hit the thing with the wrong beam, but there was only one place to go, it still moved. I also would have liked a way to distinguish between push and pull beams visually.
