Captain Peggles: That Man's Chest by Sheepolution 2025-04-08T16:02:02Z

Very nice little game concept! I could definitely see this as a mini game in a bigger pirate game.

The pixel art is on point and the sound design is pretty nice! This feels very polished already.

Any idea in which direction you would push this if you had more time ?

How does the map storage work, is there an online server ? Or those are just maps you draw yourself ?

Echoes of the deep by BadPinkChicken 2025-04-08T21:41:42Z

Nice job. It feels immersive! I like the sonar mechanism very much.

Mutant Ocean by boaheck-artgent 2025-04-08T16:38:41Z

Never thought I would say this but: It feels great to harvest all life from the depths of the ocean šŸ˜‚

Dig Digger by Transkuja 2025-04-08T19:23:01Z

Game is very enjoyable! It feels good to combo with the music and the rhythm. It feels very polished already.

That guy, ass up, riding the drill šŸ˜‚

This Blasted Mine by Pincushion 2025-04-08T21:11:08Z

When I first saw the cover and screenshots of the game, I was a bit hesitant... but it turned out to be a really nice surprise!

I like the concept a lot. With some added responsiveness and a more cartoony visual style, I could totally see this working well as a mobile puzzle game.

Also, just a heads-up: this is the first time a game has made my computer fans go full speed. There might be some optimization issues, which could also explain why it doesn't run on the web.

Good luck in the future, and great job overall! I really enjoyed playing your game.

The Hidden Depths by nsadie 2025-04-08T20:05:31Z

Wow, very nice looking game! The sprite are awesome and the intro šŸ˜ I enjoyed the mood and the gameplay very much.

Uncovering The Mysteries Of The Cursed Tomb by Anson Rutherford 2025-04-08T18:43:47Z

Very nice puzzle game with a twist! At the beginning of the game, I was not sure if the fact that you can bring object from other rooms was a bug or a feature. Now I know šŸ‘

INNER DEPTHS IDLE by munmungames 2025-04-08T19:33:18Z

Very nice entry into the auto-clicker genre! Though, the graphics and even the page description feel AI-generated.

Onion Rings by Alopar 2025-04-08T22:13:59Z

That is a very nice tower defense game! It gets addictive quite fast. Though I wish I could sell inner layers to replace them with solar panels.

The Adventures of Wormington by Logan_Core 2025-04-08T18:18:20Z

Very fun concept! I had a good time playing. Digging holes is cool, and being able to see your previously dug paths was a nice touch.

That said, the acceleration when gathering gold made it a bit hard at times to get back to the place I died, especially with the monster's pathing. Also, I somehow got stuck in the lava and couldn’t move anymore.

Anyway, nice game — good job!

DORFS by pro4 2025-04-08T17:38:23Z

Nice Gnorp clone! There were some funny ideas.

Good job for a one-dev game.

One criticism: the theme didn't serve the gameplay much. It was more built around Gnorp than Depths.

Kind of deep waters by 7uc4s 2025-04-08T21:28:50Z

@kristijan Haha, I had the "Mario 64" and "Donkey kong country" underwater music stuck in my head on a loop before we finally got our own music working in the game. So glad you enjoyed it!

@jnur Thanks for the comment! I agree, the balance might lean a bit too hardcore.. we’re big fans of tough games. We also made the ship intentionally sluggish at first to make upgrades feel more impactful and to give the retry system more weight. I really like your idea of giving the light another purpose, thank you.

@jim-jagers Man... thanks for that comment, it really warmed my heart! Glad you enjoyed it. We've spent quite a bit of time playtesting and tweaking the upgrades. Personally, I also really liked the darker part of the game and the meaning it gives to the light upgrades.

@franco-kikkas Crazy, right ? I felt the same while playing the game, even-though I know the pattern is fully "random". You would have loved the original fish (before we toned them down), it was a nightmare šŸ˜‚ The fastest one is actually called fish-furious as reference to the Fast & Furious movie.

Tout au fond (at the very bottom) by PieRo_PBeS_studio 2025-04-25T23:14:40Z

Nice game! I like the upgrade system and the whole mood for a 8 bit game is freaking cool. Also the fact that you can play on mobile is what made it possible for me to test it. Though @510 could not pass the second screen of the game as it was too difficult for him.

Depth Of Debts by Oduvan 2025-04-08T17:10:04Z

This is quite impressive for a solo dev project! That said, the game isn’t really in a playable state at the moment, even as a prototype. It might’ve helped to get a few people you know to playtest it.

It seems the trees are bugged... for me, the oxygen zone appeared in the middle of the trees instead of around each one.

The money balancing is pretty harsh. You dig slowly just to find items that aren’t worth much. On my second playthrough, I invested everything into upgrading the shovel (which is very expensive), but the improvement wasn’t very noticeable.

The concept is interesting, but the gameplay became frustrating after a while because progression felt too slow. Honestly, it might’ve been better if the game was unbalanced in the other direction, giving the player too much, just to make testing the core idea more enjoyable.

Still, great job! Maybe next time, try to deliver something more playable, even if that means reducing the game’s scope. Playtesting and making sure the experience is fun are important parts of development too.

Note: for those who wonder, you press the F key to put items down.

Depths of Discovery by CamComDuck 2025-04-08T19:51:51Z

Fun little game! Lots of similar ideas to our entry. I would’ve liked a bit more polish in the main scene to help with immersion.

Depths of Discovery by CamComDuck 2025-04-08T21:51:46Z

@camcomduck Sure! From my point of view, a bit of extra polish that could help with immersion would be things like particle effects (e.g., bubbles floating in the ocean), small decorative fish swimming around or even some colorful algae there and there. Right now, only about 20% of the main screen is actually used for action... so with your lovely art, you could really make the game feel like a living painting!

Also, maybe some underwater sound effects? But since the music is you playing drums, I’m guessing you’re going for a more fun and quirky vibe rather than full-on immersion.

Deep Seeker by Maksim Shalaev 2025-04-08T20:24:19Z

I was very intrigued from the introduction but let down by the game-play. It could gain from more polish.

Also I fell out of the world ! šŸ˜‚

Why is that lady roasting me 🄲 Nice job on the overall mood, would make for a great start in a story driven game.

99 Shotguns by AlexClay 2025-10-10T15:02:04Z

Very fun little game, I enjoyed the mood and it is quite polished visually! I like the mix of 3D and 2D, even-though it felt weird at first. Not sure if it makes sense for monsters to have life anymore after a certain point in the game x)

Kitchen Pottle by CodeRaurus 2025-10-11T14:26:51Z

I like the mood and the gameplay feels nice! You already introduce quite a lot of mechanics, which keeps it fresh. Nice job.

Excavation Sierra by parkuhrmd 2025-10-11T14:46:40Z

Wow, it was a very enjoyable game. The overall polish makes it very satisfying, good job!

CalLecter by Bassilij 2025-10-11T14:07:02Z

Crazy mood, I am tripping ! I enjoyed the crafting part, now I want to do more alchemy ^^

The Harvester by StrictPeak 2025-10-08T18:50:04Z

I like the style of the game it reminds me of old game like C&C. I would have loved to have some noises when shooting, and explosion sounds when destroying building.

With what tools was made the game ? It would be nice to mention it on your page.

Treasure Collector by Lucy Lu 2025-10-10T14:44:50Z

Great style, auto-attack feels good. Before more maps/progression, I'd deepen the core loop so I can't just hold position.

Supergalactic Trash Collector by 7uc4s 2025-10-09T08:10:49Z

@chuckeles Thanks for the feedback! I've made some new builds for Linux and Mac, maybe you can play the game like this.

Supergalactic Trash Collector by 7uc4s 2025-10-11T09:27:05Z

@custodi Thanks for the feedback! I agree we should tweak more the controls. I'll keep in mind the asteroid collision shape issue if we do another release. Glad you went through level 5 :)

Cluster Claw by Jawdan 2025-10-11T15:06:05Z

Very nice idea and execution! Is there no sound or I just didn't set-it up correctly ? That would add a lot to the mood. But coding and visual is on point! Good job.

Seize by nOuChi 2025-10-15T16:00:12Z

It is a fun little game, it would go nicely in the direction of stealth game play! With visual clues it would add a lot, e.g. what can be interact with and why/when the animal is chasing you or stopping chasing you.

I was wondering if you did any of the assets since you mention lot of sources for them ? The overall mood is cute though.

Space Rescue by Exia Sun 2025-10-11T14:50:57Z

I couldn't manage to play the game, I've tried some days ago and thought maybe it was just me. But seeing the comment above, I think you might have an issue. I tried multiple browser, private mode, nothing work, I am stuck same as @thadev.
