Finally a game when you have some sort of combat, the style is pretty authentic too

Really loved the art style, dunno something about the aesthetic and vibe reminds me of the fun I had on MechQuest from way back.

Love the buildings sprites, if raods were 45 degrees too will look much better. The colliders of buildings a bit strange too. Overall good game.

I like a lot how it looks, walking animation is great and took me a bit to realise its not simulated at first. But there is something wrong with collision - I would randomly get stuck between buildings. Also enemies sometimes spawn right under you. Would love it to have some sounds and a bit better collision mechanic. (kudos for not using any of mainstream engines btw!)

It's funny, good mechanics

I like the style of the game it reminds me of old game like C&C. I would have loved to have some noises when shooting, and explosion sounds when destroying building.

With what tools was made the game ? It would be nice to mention it on your page.

@fullbuff ran out of time for sounds unfortunately.

Blender & Substance painter for 3d models, custom toolset for sprite sheet creation from models. Custom engine implementation in Go, using ebiten as the framework for image management.

Muhahahaha, stompstompstop I love it. The animations feel really smooth and the combat was very satisfying. The isometric art style was lovely, though too easy to get stuck on the environment. No building destruction unfortunately. The humans could run through buildings and it was often hard to see where I was being shot at from. A great entry. Nice job!

cool art style, the damaged buildings look great. some sound fx would have added a lot. still fun though. nice jam!

profugo-barbatus 2025-10-12 03:19

Movement and collision tends to feel pretty bad, but the quality of the 3d assets was really impressive. Sound would have taken it to the next level, even just a generic soundpack

You've created a gorgeous alien walker. I love how it turns toward the cursor and moves its legs. And it's great that you added a destruction state for buildings
