Hey guys, I can't play it:( It says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" I hope you have time to fix it!

Interesting game! I like the concept behind it, the stealth and filling up an inventory, taking multiple trips, etc. The one major thing I'd say for sure is that your game is missing a lot of player feedback. It seems completely arbitrary if I can right click to open something or not. I have no idea how much health I have/have left at any time, I don't know that I need to have positive money, or that heading to the start zone clears out your inventory. I don't know where I can walk and where I can't, what I'll run into and what I won't. I think a lot of hassle on the players' side goes away with feedback like this. But I think what you have built is quite good, and I really like what you did with the theme. Good work!

Love the art! Not sure what to do if I get caught but don't die?

nouchi 2025-10-07 04:46

@zoldanka Thanks for letting me know! The Windows build can be picky sometimes. But I just add a browser version. Hope it helps

@t-c Hi TC,thanks a lot for the feedback! We didn’t have enough time during the 72h jam to finish the tutorial and fix UX issues. Glad you still liked the concept! THX!!!!!

nouchi 2025-10-07 04:57

@katastudios Thank you for trying it! Apologies for the guidance. we'll fix this detail. and there will be a word in white if player get caught. Actually player will die if enemies remain close for 2 secs.

I don't know if my browser wasn't running it right or what but interacting with objects was not working reliably... managed to beat the first level and then couldn't find any objects to steal on the 2nd level no matter where I clicked... nice game overall.

Nice job putting together stealth and inventory mechanics, it's definitely hard to build a fully cohesive game experience in 3 days. I was confused at the start with what to do and why I'm there, some tutorial or intro backstory would have been nice to make this more grounded and clear. I did figure out what to do eventually, but it was also visually unclear what objects I could interact with.

Yeah cool stuff! Love the "tetris" style inventory system where items can take up multiple tiles, I feel like this could be expanded further so you'd have to make quick on the spot decisions on what to keep and what to leave behind! Like others have mentioned the UX could be improved, and quick heads up : the web build seems to have UI scaling issues where the main menu buttons disappear if not in full screen!! Good job for the entry :)

It is a fun little game, it would go nicely in the direction of stealth game play! With visual clues it would add a lot, e.g. what can be interact with and why/when the animal is chasing you or stopping chasing you.

I was wondering if you did any of the assets since you mention lot of sources for them ? The overall mood is cute though.

rynti 2025-10-16 23:36

Good entry! It was rewarding when I found all the necessary items in a level - but also it was kind of frustrating as I was just spamming right click to see if anything is interactible. It would've been great to have at least some kind of indication whether something was interactible (like on hover)

surf-croc 2025-10-17 23:36

Cute game! Avoiding guards and the inventory system was pretty fun, although I did have an issue with the items only being visible in one inventory spot with the rest being cut off (maybe some layering issue?). It would also be nice if the guards had regular patrol routes, so the gameplay is a bit more dynamic!

yibirabbit007 2025-10-21 05:29

I'm always being chased and hit, which is a bit saddening, but cats are indeed very cute.

kanagg 2025-10-21 08:34

For me, it would have been more intuitive if I had to stand in front of a structure and right-click on it to open the inventory. It took me a while to figure out that I had to stand on top of it.

There is also not much stealth involved. It feels more like running in, frantically grabbing everything you can, and then running out.

Building a full stealth system in three days is probably a bit much though

Sound effects for grabbing items and being spotted by an enemy would have been great, and the music starts to feel repetitive fairly quickly.

I am sure you could build a really fun game with a bit more time.

ranejeb 2025-10-21 11:38

Nice entry, guys! The graphics are cozy and so is music. I'm mostly a programmer so here's my feedback on what a programmer can do during jam: Jammers often overlook in their submissions how text looks on their screen. It doesn't take a lot of time to use fonts other than default ones and add some shading/outline to them. That alone helps with readability!

bloodbane 2025-10-21 12:54

Too bad there's no option to scale the game to fit my screen. The idea sounds good.

jesus-gonzalez 2025-10-22 15:54

Cool graphics and music. Needed a bit more of feed on what's actually happening when being attacked for example. Also is it normal that the items look cut off when placing them in the inventory? That made it a little hard to manage, but I guess it was part of the design?

strong99 2025-10-24 15:07

It was a bit hard to understand and interact with the backpack to put items in. Loved the art and music styles.
