Easy to understand, hard to master, gameplay is perfect to me. Only problem i found frustrating is the repetitive car sound.

I also have to give you extra points for realism. Even after finishing the race, the cables problems and the need to pet the cat don't magically go away. Just like real life! :D
But seriously, I really loved how you managed to blend two completely different visual styles into one cohesive experience. And the animation quality is absolutely top-notch!

What a fun game, I really love the emersion here. It really felt like playing two games at the same time. I think its a smart design choice to make the racegame "unfailable". Love the art too, was it hand drawn on a drawing tablet?

Love the idea, and very well put together. I managed to get an R stuck on screen at one point though, until the cat returned. I did miss that I had to click on the game to get the audio to work.
The art is great, and the game is very on theme.

Loved the concept! Wasn't sure if some button prompts required holding or tapping, or just the cat maybe? The cat is an issue with modern tech too btw. They were never able to fix those glitches, thanks goodness. 😉
The idea of having to manage racing chaos while dealing with classic childhood PC issues is such a unique and fun concept. The way the different glitches actually impact the drive made this experience feel wonderfully chaotic!

Great work on Road Rage! The hand-painted retro PC, with the game squeezed inside its tiny monitor, is a clever, nostalgic take on the theme. The pixel art road and arcade HUD look great, and the button-mashing events add fun. Hats off to you!
i got some question for game loop parts, maybe u should add more different lvls, anyways i rlly liked the art and animations, qte events are also smooth and responsive

Great game but wasn't the theme "old tech", not "broken tech". Still had to laugh about the hilarious animations for each hardware issue. Really well done!

Cool game, really liked how you played the theme. Also liked the graphics and especially the KITTY! Overall everything is great, I played through the game a couple of times and had a lot of fun. The only thing that annoys me is fixing the cord to the screen (A), as I understood it just ruins the controls while everything else can be worked around with skill. It seems to me this is not the best idea. Everything else is super, thanks for your submission.

Why did you opt out of humor category? I think it's gold. This game made me laugh by making fun of me. Probably because I didn't read the game description and rushed into playing it, thinking it was a simple racing game.

Ok, this caught me by surprise - I was expecting a small racer but you absolutely scrumbled with my brain haha, in a good way! Having to control my car while trying to fix what needs fixing was super exciting and honestly the first two rounds were a mess xD The only thing I would have wished for maybe some different card driving sounds, just a small variety like higher/lower after each time i crash cause after the third play it got annoying - but you could also argue its an old game it wasnt part of it.
All in all a very pleasent surprise! :D 11/10 (could pet the cat)
Great entry! The only little issue I’d mention: it was hard to figure out that I had to press the button multiple times. At first I pressed it only once, saw the animation for 1–2 seconds, and thought I needed to do something else to fix things.
Haha I loved it, perfect scope for a game jam and I liked that when the joystick had an issue it affected the movement in game. Great entry!
What a cool entry, really thought it was smart with what might be quite a frustrating game to keep the core game simple and let someone play through to the end, even if they get a slower time and I think that game length was perfect. Very smart! So much charm and wonderful art. I think my only critique is the lack of some bg music that gives us more of the same charming vibe but really hats off, well done.
The game looks great and is really entertaining! I was completely caught off guard by the fact that things could start failing. I thought it was going to be a chill game about simply driving the car around, until my joystick started malfunctioning, then my PC... hahaha!

Really cool little game. Actually had some similarities to our game, trying to do something while dealing with distractions. I like how your game pulled focus and attention to the hazards that happened. Great work on the art and animation and sound and music were also good an fitting. Felt like a really polished entry.
