Apr 17 00:01:35 Tiny Summons ♥ 1 Fun little game, I'm glad I dropped in and gave it a try! I love the social element of it being on twitch, adds a lot to it, like playing smash with friends but actually I don't have any friends! ❤️
Apr 17 14:26:42 14h 25m Salmoning ♥ 5 Really awesome that I got to play it with the whole gang! I’m still not exactly sure what’s up with the coop mode, but was still fun just running around, filling orders and blinging out my guy! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:30:44 4m 02s Dungeon of the Bone Summoner ♥ 1 I was rather confused in the start, but got there in the end. I think I missed some of the usual boats simplicity, but I still enjoyed it once I had a grasp of it. Skeles seem really powerful! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:33:54 3m 10s Weedwacker ♥ 3 Fun game! I love how you needed lots of time to upgrade, so would need to setup lots of towers to protect you during that time. And the length of the combo was a great way to scale the difficulty! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:35:26 1m 32s Armamancer - Never Reload ♥ 2 The voice lines are great! Banana! I have infinite mana! And others! I had lots of fun just listening to their goofy lines, great fun! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:39:25 3m 59s Seance ♥ 3 Man I came into this expecting another goofy little rude bear game, and instead you (and the rest of your amazing team) deliver this incredible masterpiece! I’m now just curious what would happen if I typed things in the ouija board before I knew them, could I summon baphomet right from the start??? I’m also hoping that you put up the soundtrack for this! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:41:24 1m 59s Pitchfork Pandemonium ♥ 1 The mummy is so OP! But still a fun little game, the speed which units are summoned adds a lot to the strategy! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:43:21 1m 57s ⸸ INVERSIO NEGOTIUM ⸸ ♥ 4 Such an amazing bullet hell! There was so much going on, but it always felt possible. I love the variety in the spells, that it was often worthwhile to deal less damage, but to do so faster and more easily. The idea of making the player move to perform actions is really interesting! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:45:50 2m 29s Ink Summoner ♥ 2 I absolutely love the central mechanic for this game, it’s simple but has a lot of potential for different spells and tools. I just wish that what you had was more fleshed out rather than piling on more stuff. I for one really loved the opening for the game where you had to write S, I felt very smart figuring that out! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:47:50 2m 00s CHAZM ♥ 2 A surprisingly deep game, I was constantly learning and getting a better feel for what was and wasn’t possible. I’m not sure that the more expensive powers were worth it, but I really love the push and pull of the rocks mechanic, where it’s both good and bad to have! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:49:27 1m 37s Eldritch Vessel Academy ♥ 1 A rather intense game, not what I expected from a puzzle game, but I enjoyed it! The levels flowed really well, which made it simple to navigate even when panicking about the timer! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 17 14:53:37 4m 10s The Royal Writ ♥ 2 Man I can’t believe how insanely well polished this is. There’s so much but it all comes as very simple and easy to approach. I didn’t really like the tutorial for the game as there was just so much dumped on the player when in reality it’s really quite simple. But otherwise it was a fun game, I’m just sorry for accidentally killing so many guys… ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2122044081
Apr 18 08:30:47 17h 37m FRIED AWAY ♥ 4 What an awesome game! It's been a while since I've encountered quite as much jank as is in this game, but with the amazing music, sounds and animation, I couldn't help but keep playing anyway! I only ask for one thing: could you please pretty please upload the entire soundtrack somewhere? I really wanna hear the rest of this banger that you've made, but keep dying too early to hear it all. Amazing game! ❤️
Apr 19 14:42:33 30h 11m Freezing Hell ♥ 2 Great job making a 3D game in the time, it looks brilliant! I felt the summoning could be better integrated into the combat, as it didn’t seem too useful when the player was still vulnerable and the summons were very weak. Still a great game overall and next time I hope to find treasure under the stairs! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 14:45:20 2m 47s Summon Or Unsummon ♥ 1 All hail the mighty fish god! What an incredible twist, and I really enjoyed learning the game without a tutorial, I just wish you could see the level of summoned enemies before they drop. Great work, super memorable game! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 14:49:53 4m 33s Middleman Summons ♥ 1 Banger theme song! The last level was actually pretty neat how it forced you along a really long path where on the surface the level seemed simple ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 14:52:39 2m 46s Phasebound ♥ 1 I didn’t expect I’d have the skills to make some of these tricky jumps, but was surprisingly do able! Such a slick mechanic, I was constantly expecting secrets as it feels like the sort of game that could easily be hiding things around every corner ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 14:54:32 1m 53s Motivation ♥ 1 I really really love the mechanic used here! The very first puzzle, was such a moment, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, and the game immediately blew my mind! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 14:57:26 2m 54s Spirit Edge ♥ 1 Damn it is hard keeping up with the enemies, they’re just so quick! But everything is feeling as juicy as ever, especially that spin attack feels great! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 14:59:29 2m 03s A Clash of Horns ♥ 2 Such a fun game, I dunno how you make so much content in such a short amount of time. I really enjoyed the strategy, and the AI felt really competent which made for a great challenge! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 15:01:03 1m 34s Sinful Scoops ♥ 3 Icecream to represent sins is such a funky idea that I’d never expect to work, but totally does! I love the difficulty modifiers that appear in later levels ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 15:03:42 2m 39s Summoner's Chess ♥ 1 Such an awesome twist on chess! I feel that some of the pieces were too expensive, it would be cheaper for example to buy a rook + bishop than to buy a queen, which doesn’t feel right. It’d also be really awesome to have a leaderboard based off how much money is left over by the end of the game, as a way to quantify how well you did ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 19 15:06:29 2m 47s Mage Matrix ♥ 0 Nice and simple little puzzle game. Despite that though, I really wish the levels had less redundancy to them, the smaller and more ordered levels were the ones I enjoyed most. I like how you introduced more colours as an easy but effective way to add more to the late game puzzles ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357
Apr 22 14:04:46 70h 58m Mammon & Sons ♥ 4 I finally got around to finishing this on stream! For the most part the game was really simple to grasp, and once I knew what was going on, was able to fairly quickly raise my rating to a glorious 5 stars! I’m just not sure why so many tasks had to have long timers associated with them when there was nothing to do whilst the timer ticked along. For your reference, here was the first stream where I was tired and didn’t do much: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2123757357 Followed by this one where I beat it, after one slight whoopsie: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2126502001
Apr 22 14:28:33 23m 47s Blåkulla ♥ 3 The game looks absolutely incredible! Whilst I was playing I didn’t really get to appreciate all the animations of the enemies + my summons, they all look great! That being said, I feel like the game had a lot form over function, where it looked snazzy, but was unnecessarily complicated to use. The way the cards slide across the screen looks epic, and the way it draws out the spell is super slick, buuuuut you could’ve just shown a list of all the symbols + their current charge and then you would always know what spells are ready and how to draw them, no more steps needed! Little things like scrolling through the deck added a lot of mental load, and rewatching I see that I didn’t grasp the difference between a blue and red spell, despite you clearly spelling it out many times. Also with so many spells, I could never recall all the spells, which was made harder by the fact you could only see spells when hovered over them + scrolled to the right spot. All that being said, I still really loved the game, and just hope this feedback is helpful! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2126502001
Apr 22 14:39:22 10m 49s Danger Zone! ♥ 1 Nice little arena shooter! I agree with what’s said above, that increasing the difficulty doesn’t seem to be worthwhile. I would argue that it should be impossible for the player to stay on a low difficulty forever, there should be a reason that you’re eventually forced to increase the difficulty, or that the game ups the difficulty even if you don’t. Otherwise if it’ll be possible to infinitely power up or get infinite score, which really invalidates both the score and the sense of achievement. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2126502001
Apr 22 15:21:09 41m 47s Spirit Stone's Summon ♥ 1 Apologies for all the rough feedback on stream, I hope it came off as helpful rather than negative, but regardless, I wanted to give some further thoughts that I wasn’t able to express. A game of this length really needs safety nets, in my run it felt like one small thing went wrong and irreparably ruined an otherwise very strong run. If enemies would take damage when hurting plants for example, then they could only destroy so much of your base and would give the player a chance to learn from that. And with the structure of waves, there isn’t much feedback given to the player. I would suggest speeding up the enemies or spawning them closer, then wait for all enemies to die before starting the next wave. This way I can see that uh oh, my base barely made it through this wave, I need to go on an upgrade frenzy! And I can quickly see that lots of enemies are getting through on the right, so maybe I need more defense there. But because it took so long for enemies to reach the base, by the time I’d realised my base had these issues, there was simply too many enemies piled up that there was no chance for me to respond. Anywho, hopefully this is useful, I have a hard time explaining my thoughts in the moment, which is why the feedback given in the stream felt so scattershot. Good luck with your future games! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2126502001
Apr 22 15:26:37 5m 28s Demonic Panic ♥ 2 The game looks great, I love the details of things like enemies climbing down from ropes instead of appearing. I feel like the game was missing one mechanic to add a little something to help with some of the slower moments, something like a weak projectile or maybe a dash. A dash in particular feels like it could complement the circle drawing. Still a very fun game great work team! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2126502001
Apr 22 15:30:36 3m 59s Remnant Revival ♥ 1 Man I was unprepared for how awesome this game turned out to be! It was difficult to figure everything out, and I certainly wouldn’t have understood it without your guidance, I think the tutorial needs to go more in depth about how the summoning works. But hot damn is it funny that items could weigh down buttons, and I love how that was both good at times but also very bad! Outstanding mechanic! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2126502001
Apr 26 07:55:26 88h 24m Heroes of Keys & Kingdoms ♥ 2 Awesome game! I played after watching on stream yesterday and had a blast, I managed to beat everything and finish off with full HP! I was really concerned about the castle, but then it... wasn't that bad? It had one move that only added one block, I was certain it must be charging something and I'd get obliterated next move, but nope, barely a scratch! I still loved this game and was really hoping to find an endless mode at the end! ❤️
Apr 26 08:27:48 32m 22s Crossworld ♥ 2 Neat little game, I have no idea how all this could be working on the back end, very impressive! It was quite hard to figure out what you were meant to do from the start though, I didn't find the instructions very clear. Would've been nice to have fewer words and more pictures, but once I knew it made total sense! The one other problem I had whilst playing was the dictionary not recognising a bunch of really common words, neither 'net' nor 'is' gets accepted. And with this game I wish you could retry a given puzzle once you've seen the word values! I often found the resonance to be highly unintuitive, and felt I was losing in unpredictable ways, but would've totally tried again if I could. Despite all this, I genuinely really enjoyed my time with this game, it makes you think in an interesting way! Scrabble really rewards you for packing as many words as closely together as possible, and combined with resonance this made for a really interesting word puzzle! I would love to see this developed as a web app that you can quickly open up and play every so often, perhaps with a daily challenge like wordle ❤️
Apr 27 07:58:23 23h 30m Tao ♥ 2 Awesome awesome game! I played this on stream, I thought I was stuck at one point and rebooted the game, but have since realised I could’ve escaped. I kept looking for secrets, there was a few points that set off my secret senses, but sadly had nothing. Still though, I loved the game, and I hope the video offers some more helpful feedback, you can see what happened here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 08:03:27 5m 04s The Mage And The Assassins ♥ 1 I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the stuff that you unloaded onto the player in such a small span of time, but did get there eventually. It felt like the summoning mechanic wasn’t very rewarding though, and in my final run I don’t believe I summoned anything at all. This was for a few reasons; energy took so long to collect, the summons were relatively weak and healing was very valuable so I focussed my energy on this. So in a way, having the heal mechanic kinda made the summoning less valuable. Still though great job on it, if only the game had been longer then maybe I’d have had more time to get to know everything better. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 08:10:21 6m 54s Summon In The Dungeon ♥ 1 Damn I didn’t quite beat it… took a bit to understand the mechanics, I feel the tutorial would be more helpful if you could reopen it during play. But once I knew how to play it was fun, and I definitely think I have the knowledge now to be able to beat it on the next try. Thinking about it more though, I’m not sure what the enemy conversion mechanic added to the game? Like if I have 400 energy, I couldn’t go straight to a reaper, I first have to summon the lowest guys, upgrade them, then upgrade again. This didn’t cost any additional energy, and didn’t really add any strategy, only extra steps required to summon bulky units. This is why I feel a pause button was needed to be able to do all these steps quickly and more accurately. But you could’ve just placed higher tier units like you do for the small skeletons… Anywho, I still really enjoyed the game! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 08:16:22 6m 01s Burn with me ♥ 1 What an awesome awesome game, I love this unique card based mechanic! I’m still not sure how the max difficulty is possible, but it’s neat that you get to choose. I’m still unsure about the sacrifice mechanic, early on I thought it was a temporary discard which seemed ok, but losing cards permanently seems mostly negative. But I suppose that also adds a chance for skill to turn that negative into a positive? Anywho great game, the presentation was absolutely on point and very clear! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 08:24:21 7m 59s Midnight Mage ♥ 0 It was difficult to understand how to control the game, there were a lot of controls that were difficult to discover via trial and error. Now perhaps I should’ve read your game page, but it’s best to have your controls be taught in game too, and to walk the player through the mechanics in a more interactive way. One thing that I think would’ve added a lot to this game is sounds for the enemies, so that you could hear them sneaking up behind you, getting louder and perhaps even being louder in the left / right ear to imply direction. I felt I was often taking damage to enemies whom I didn’t know were behind me. There was also an apparent balancing problem of the persistent spikes vs the single use spells, which you can see in the stream vod, I hope this feedback helps! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 13:28:17 5h 03m Apprentice Binder ♥ 1 Neat little puzzle game, the controls were clear, and I was very quickly able to get in and play. There was sometimes a bit of physics jank, I feel that rotation should have been locked so that the wind dragon always pointed up, and perhaps the slime shouldn’t have been solid for the player. Anywho, neat little game! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 13:33:28 5m 11s Sky Dudes ♥ 1 Hey, I played this game on stream! Overall it was a nice and chill island builder, whilst it wasn’t exactly deep, I still played a few times to try and conquer some enemies (with varying success). The background should have had more details to it, I like the occasional clouds which make it clear that you’re moving, but these were too infrequent. Also I wish you could upgrade your wind recharge speed (maybe by having more dudes, or with another resource such as coal). You can watch the vod to see what happened here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 13:37:55 4m 27s The Birth*Day of Cthulhu ♥ 2 Hey! I tried playing this game on stream, but was really lost as to how to play it. The art looks incredible, but no amount of fiddling or reading the game page could solve it for me. I was confused as to why people sometimes unfollow you? And other times neither whispering nor shouting were effective. And what to do about the white rival? I’d be down to try again if you could answer some of these! Here’s the vod so you can see what happened: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 13:40:37 2m 42s Throes of the Javelin ♥ 3 Hey, I played this on stream (not submitted by you I just wanted to play it!) The mechanic is super fun to get the hang of and has lots of interesting interactions to learn. There was one spiked pit which I spent a while getting into only to find it was empty, but otherwise I really enjoyed it! You can see what happened here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2129902300
Apr 27 13:49:12 8m 35s My Little Demons ♥ 2 Awesome game, there was some great puzzle mechanics here! I did have some difficulty with the controls though, like actually a lot of difficulty, but did get there eventually. I also feel that for a puzzle the challenge should mostly be figuring out the solution, then performing that solution should be easy. But there was a few times that you required some really tricky jumps which threw that off (and forced you to re-place everything when you fail). Still had fun though, and ai particularly like the digging guy, I feel like he had a lot of potential! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 13:52:38 3m 26s Infernal Ascension ♥ 1 Damn that boss is tricky! But I love all the different movement options in this, you did a great job combining movement and combat in a really fluid way, where every ability offered both mobility and damage output. And secrets, yay! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 13:58:24 5m 46s Imp Master ♥ 1 I really liked the first two levels, both were predictable and had very minimal trial and error. But I feel the third level shouldn’t have had the lighting mechanic, as this made it very difficult to tell what a particular lever did. It’d open a door somewhere, but there’d often be no way to know where since the door wasn’t lit. Otherwise though the game was fun! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 14:49:50 51m 26s Demon Well ♥ 1 Amazing game, wow! I played this on stream, and whilst I really enjoyed the voice acting, I’ve since realised I didn’t have it loud enough that viewers could hear all your funny voice delivery, a real shame! Definitely the most funny game I’ve played this jam, and outside of a few slightly confusing points, this game was perfect! Here’s the vod so you can see what happened: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 23:18:04 8h 28m Necrohold ♥ 1 You guys are crazy with your team size! I played this game on stream, was a bit confused initially, but got there eventually! I just don’t understand why the game is so dark, maybe units / enemies could have had lights on them so you can both see them and appreciate all the detail that was put into their character models. You can see what happened in the stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 23:21:18 3m 14s Devotion - A fairytale ♥ 1 Hey, I played this on stream! I was hoping to have some cryptic puzzles to solve, but seems you were going more for the art side, which looks absolutely incredible! You can see what happened on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 23:26:07 4m 49s wiz ♥ 1 Hey torcado, I played this on stream! The mechanic is so dang unique (as yours always are)! As for the upgrades though, these didn’t seem particularly rewarding, as their usefulness seemed quite limited, and the controls were tricky (I was using mouse when it seems keyboard would’ve been better for triggering lots of different skills). Anywho, you can see what happened on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 27 23:29:38 3m 31s Illusions of Grandeur ♥ 1 Hey, I played this on stream! That last puzzle really broke my brain, and I’d love to see more puzzles like it that truly exploit the illusion. I felt that a lot of the puzzles took place on disconnected islands or climbed up only one or two blocks, which didn’t really use the illusion much. But that last puzzle’s solution was completely wacky, I love it! You can see what happened on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 28 00:01:42 32m 04s Child of Ruin ♥ 10 Hey team, I played this game on stream! I can’t believe the size of the team and the fact you made anything at all in this time is incredible! I didn’t have much time though, so sorry for the rushed playthrough. You can see what happened here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2130698362
Apr 28 10:11:17 10h 09m The Summoner's Forest ♥ 1 Wooooooo Screenshot 2024-04-28 201045.png
Apr 28 11:11:53 1h 00m Summon & Summoff ♥ 1 Woooooooo Screenshot 2024-04-28 211129.png
Apr 29 12:17:05 25h 05m Idle Hands ♥ 0 Hey, I played the game on stream! I feel there could have been more going on in the game, particularly in the player’s room when waiting for new contracts. Maybe people could leave reviews that you can read from your room, or there could be parkour / collectables for the downtime. Perhaps also some random modifiers for the main game, things like floor is lava, or maybe some opposing demons who could hinder you. But anywho, the 3D art is really well done, you can see what happened here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
Apr 29 12:22:19 5m 14s The Basis of All Creations ♥ 1 I really enjoyed this, the vibe is awesome, and the mysterious recipes were very well done. I do feel a bit ripped off by that last recipe though, it was so dang expensive so I didn’t want to invest until I had all the ingredients… but actually you’re meant to only partially make it then the game gives you the rest?!? That’s the only bit that felt unintuitive to me. How one part of the recipe book was torn off, it’d be really awesome if there was some mechanical you had to solve (or maybe give the right items) to unlock the other half and get even more cryptic recipes! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
Apr 29 12:29:00 6m 41s Footlong Flight ♥ 1 Daym the art in this is crazy! I love how the search lights show you when a hazard is on the edge of the screen, super smart approach that I’ve never seen before! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
Apr 29 12:32:21 3m 21s Summon Shuffleboard ♥ 2 Hey, I played this on stream! This was such an awesome game, jam packed with all your usual polish, amazing character art and fun spin on a classic game! I really see the rogue like thing working for this, I could imagine many more balls and even customising a ‘deck’ to get the perfect set of balls for any challenge. Here’s the vod if you’d like to see what happened: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
Apr 29 12:35:49 3m 28s The Summoning of the Dark Forest ♥ 1 Hey, I played this on stream, it was actually recommended by a viewer! I did find myself getting rather lost though, and felt that an essential door could be hiding anywhere and I’d never find it. Fortunately I actually did find the end, but felt that a lot of the solutions felt quite arbitrary. Perhaps that was the goal of the game to make you feel crazy as your blindly wandering this huge space, if so I totally dig that artistic intent. You can see what happened here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
Apr 29 12:40:26 4m 37s Colormancer ♥ 1 Loved the puzzles in this! It felt like levels 1-8 were all tutorials and #9 was the first where things really started ramping up, I’d have liked to have seen it go even further with more puzzles! I also feel it would be valuable to have all things of a particular colour toggle when hitting that colour’s button, rather than having specific buttons bound to specific doors. That was kinda unintuitive, but otherwise it all made sense and I enjoyed it! ❤️ https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
Apr 29 12:48:05 7m 39s Globeba ♥ 1 I played this on stream and hot damn, this is absolutely incredible! For so long I’ve had in my mind a sort of reference point for what a 5 star LD game looks like, and this one goes way way beyond that! I can’t believe the amount of content, the number of brilliantly designed moments and ultimately I can’t believe how well it all works together. The one part I disliked was the final dungeon of the game, which was far too maze-like, had a lot of one way corridors that wouldn’t let you return, and had a lot of puzzles that had to be re-solved when passing by again. And I knew that I had collected the boss key, but at some point I had died and didn’t realise I had lost the boss key too. So some puzzle somewhere that I thought I had solved actually needed to be solved again to get the boss key, and I got rather stuck at this point. But otherwise I had an absolute blast with this, 6 stars out of 5! ❤️ You can see what happened here, your game is at the end https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2131744728
