Oct 3 14:10:30 PIO ♥ 2 You know what a 500kg bird does on a tree branch? **PIO PIO** :D Nice game! Got to the level where a lot of them come and there small square platforms everywhere. Too difficult that one!
Oct 3 14:58:48 48m 18s Limitverse (ludum-54) ♥ 1 Cool concept! I hope you keep working on it!
Oct 5 08:42:17 41h 43m Unsquished ♥ 1 Nice! Maybe smoother wall movement would have been even nicer? Anyways, well done!
Oct 5 08:50:40 8m 23s Astromino ♥ 1 Wowowo, you have something here! The combo system sounds like it can be expanded into something even bigger! And you could add a lot more of side-effects, like healing you if you fully complete the space for dominos or you build long chains. Great game!
Oct 5 08:54:52 4m 12s Space Loops ♥ 1 Not sure if the 'past blocking you' is some kind of allegory, but it certainly makes for pretty interesting puzzles!! Well done!
Oct 5 08:58:16 3m 24s Busy Bar ♥ 2 Best thing you did was removing the time constraint, for sure! There's a winning strategy others have already mentioned, but I'm sure you can figure out how to add new rules to avoid it ;D
Oct 5 09:00:52 2m 36s Booze & Row ♥ 2 Graphics are cartoon-network level! Sound didn't work (Firefox, windows), but got the idea ;)
Oct 5 11:47:53 2h 47m Troubled Turtles ♥ 1 Nice twist on the sokoban genre!
Oct 8 13:00:55 73h 13m Hexle ♥ 1 Mind-blowing! You better print it on paper to annotate options! I love when you are sure about a number and meeec it's not, and you start debugging your reasoning to figure out why.
Oct 8 13:15:34 14m 39s Packed to the Gills ♥ 1 Lovely! I was trying to figure out how to play, I couldn't make sense! Why up? Why not left? Then it all clicked and spent much more than expected playing :D Well done!
Oct 8 13:23:32 7m 58s Stretchmancer ♥ 2 So intriguing! It's a bit of trial and error at first, but then you get used to your powers :D
Oct 8 13:31:38 8m 06s Sheep in Wolf's Clothing ♥ 3 Great art! I found those first stone puzzles unnecesary, someone already mentioned that. Why not making them a bit more involving? There's no way to fail, right? :D I guess you had a few more ideas in mind for fights that didn't get into the final game. But it looks amazing, you could certainly keep working on it!
Oct 8 13:34:47 3m 09s Cosmic Carnage: Onslaught ♥ 2 Brutal OST! Game is not original but those mobs are glorious. Well done!
Oct 8 13:57:09 22m 22s LIGHTDANCER ♥ 1 I was not expecting such an involving combat system! Combined with lighting it makes for a quite nice game. Well done!
Oct 8 14:09:38 12m 29s Denpo ♥ 1 So absurdly fun!! Would love a bit more juice when you merge creatures, although it already feels great with you make combos! Well done!
Oct 8 14:52:29 42m 51s Floodwater ♥ 1 Nice floodfill algorithm and twist on the Sokoban puzzle :) Well done, fellow Pico8 developer :D
Oct 8 14:59:27 6m 58s Calves of the Braves ♥ 1 Sumo meets Battle Royale :D I think I was able to spam pushing and then running and tackling, but just because I was playing against AI. I'm sure this is fun as hell playing with people!
Oct 8 15:04:51 5m 24s MY LIL WIZARD ♥ 0 I find the character design extremely charming!! The mix of super crate box and top down dual stick is fun, but maybe the pace was a tad slow? I had fun, anyways! :D
Oct 8 15:06:21 1m 30s Just why? ♥ 1 I find the one-screen level design MESEMERIZING, but I don't have the patience nor the skill - certainly not the skill - to complete this game :D Nice!
Oct 8 16:21:55 1h 15m Slugs ♥ 0 I thought it was online :D (IS IT?) Why the jumpy movement? Would have been nicer if it was a bit smoother!
Oct 8 16:28:21 6m 26s Tiny Island ♥ 1 You are up unto something here! Didn't figure out if I could indeed kill people - you lose when they all die, right? but they have food and shelter and don't! Maybe I didn't play for a long time? Anyway, nice game!
Oct 9 09:26:17 16h 57m LimitedSpace-STATION ♥ 1 It was fun until a crate spawned in front of the stars and couldn't leave the room! :D Funny :)
Oct 9 09:40:26 14m 09s Terraforming Chess ♥ 0 oook... this one was weird, but I think it has tons of potential! Chess pieces altering the nature of the board itself sounds compelling!
Oct 9 09:47:28 7m 02s Less Space ♥ 0 Cool idea! Could be extended into a party game if you add more players! Well done!
Oct 9 14:42:37 4h 55m Picky Plants ♥ 0 Beautiful puzzle! I'm stuck in level 11, but I'll get through!
Oct 9 15:42:00 59m 23s Fantasy Haven ♥ 1 30 out of 40 creatures! Nice idea, I almost made one about a hotel that had quite similar rules! Things like 'wants a room facing West' or 'doesn't want neighbours on its sides' and such. Yours was a great implentation! Also, really good music! Nice entry.
Oct 10 10:27:45 18h 45m Last God's Bidding ♥ 2 Nice! I only lasted 20 years, though. I love its minimalistic style, and reminds me of Reigns in terms of balancing the three resources. Well done!
Oct 10 10:46:09 18m 24s Laser Grid ♥ 1 It's been said already: timer makes it so dificult!! But it's a cool puzzle, you should keep working on it. If you remove timer you could add many other cells like portals or things that eat the laser or who knows. With players having time to figure it out the options are a lot! That said, the game as is, with timer, is just a different kind of game and not a bad one at all! Nice!
Oct 10 11:00:12 14m 03s Voyd ♥ 1 Simple but effective! Every missed shot felt worse than letting a creature touch you! I thought the defensive aura would allow you to push walls outwards, but nope... I lasted 63 seconds. Nice game!
Oct 10 16:04:25 5h 04m Good Neighbours ♥ 3 Yeah, ok, that doorbell effect made me stand up and head for the door and I felt stupid. Maybe it would be nice to know in advance the likes and dislikes of people, so you can plan in advance? Also, at some point I placed a guy, then the apartment, and then the character was behind the apartment so you woudln't see it 🆔 Nice entry!
Oct 10 16:14:30 10m 05s Pocket Goblin ♥ 1 I'm quite sure there's a game in there. You can move with WASD, grab things with Z and seems you can interact with locations with X. And place finished things in slots 1,2,3... but all this is guessing. Interactions didn't work? There was a bar that never got to increase... Would love to see where this is heading to! :D
Oct 10 16:21:22 6m 52s Flob the Bloing ♥ 2 Oook, I'm not repeating the whole level, sorry! :D But platforming is decently solid, graphics are great and the gravity-inversion mechanic is cool! I wish there were control points mid-level, but I understand it's not that kind of games, and levels are small with that in mind, right? Well done!
Oct 11 15:17:30 22h 56m Out of Spacetime ♥ 2 Great art style, sound and music! I found it very difficult to avoid obstacles at first because of their curved trajectories, but you get used to it. Until you don't and die. Or travel to a new galaxy, who knows! Nice entry.
Oct 11 15:25:58 8m 28s Feng Tetra ♥ 1 I like the idea a lot, and it can be a really fun way of learning about feng sui, if you enjoy those things, but it was SOOO DIFFICULT TO CONTROL! Isometric controls always confuse me (pressing up makes it go up-left or up-right?), it's just something in my brain. Plus, forniture falled too fast to try, and the rotating room didn't help at all. Also, I didn't get how you score! I like my rooms, but I guess I'm not following feng sui laws : D Would be nice playing a more polished version! Well done in any case!
Oct 11 15:36:20 10m 22s Agent Cat - Mewssion Fridge ♥ 1 My potato computer was not too happy, but I managed to play for a bit and it seemed fun! Laughed a lot when the cat touched a cucumber. But a less-unreal version would be nice for us mortals ;) Nice!
Oct 13 12:10:50 44h 34m SkyIsle TD ♥ 0 I'm not a huge fan of TD (except for Ninja Town, I loved that one) but I see the potential in your idea! Keep in mind that a first person TD will require tons of work in UI and QoL, as you need a lot of information to figure out what to do. A minimap, for instance, and quite a few on-screen indicators to tell you what is happening. Still, nice entry for a game jam!
Oct 13 12:17:11 6m 21s Adelie - Someone Like You ♥ 1 Ok, I had to set it to unlimited time, and then I started having fun, because it was indeed stressing! :D I only got to turn 5. Maybe I'm not a good penguin parent...
Oct 13 12:20:59 3m 48s Rolling Over It ♥ 1 There's a big slope in the first level that I just can't get through. No matter how I click I can't jump that high! Sounds like a fun idea, but can't figure it out, sorry :'(
Oct 13 12:35:31 14m 32s F.R.E.D ♥ 1 Masterpiece!! One of the most interesting games I've found in this edition. I love how it throws you in there without holding your hand and expects you to figure out. UI and inventory control feels a bit hellish (I usually dropped the thing I wanted to use, which being the laser gun was not fun with the ooze in front of you) but one gets better. Still, incredible entry, very well done!
Oct 15 13:47:39 49h 12m BLOCKIES ♥ 2 It's indeed relaxing! As mentioned eariler, some juciness would do wonders for the experience. And I would even remove the explanations and leave it abstract - it's fun enough without the narrative layer! Great entry.
Oct 18 08:41:34 66h 53m "Noah"'s Ark ♥ 1 What a ton of absurdity. Fantastic!! :D I new that "Noah" guy was sketchy.
Oct 18 09:02:17 20m 43s Forest Survivors ♥ 0 Work a bit on those controls, add some more variety - maybe exploding bushes that give you time to run away, or poisonous clouds and such, and you will have a curious game at hand! Well done!
Oct 18 09:17:37 15m 20s Bubbles ♥ 2 What is the need for pressing space three times if you can create also bubbles with J and move inside them? That would make playing smoother! :D At some point (next to a LGBTI flag) I got stuck and couldn't move forward, but I found it intriguing! Well done.
Oct 19 09:24:34 24h 06m Mecha Walker ♥ 1 Wait, I just got mugged by the NARRATOR? And then some people were being assaulted by bandits and I helped them. The people, not the bandits. Laughed a lot :D An old friend of mine had a game like this with pirates in his programmable calculator, something like 30 years ago. You had your pirate ship, your crew, and like yours you just choosed what to do and odds did their thing. Then you had to maintain your ship and hire new crew and keep an eye on resources. Fun entry!
