| Oct 3 04:44:30 | Ma|n|dness at shopping | ♥ 2 | Took me a few attempts to get the first shelf to respond, and I swear I could have jammed the chilli and the fish into the same pocket - honest! XD Nice work :). | |
| Oct 3 04:48:27 | 3m 57s | The_Box | ♥ 1 | I finally managed to get the hyperactive cylinder into the goal, woah that thing likes to fly and warp around! Nice! |
| Oct 3 05:02:37 | 14m 10s | Urinal Simulator | ♥ 0 | Interesting, I did not expect the undead to factor into a simple toilet management game XD, caught me by surprise there :D. I managed to hit $107 before civilization collapsed, was still going strong but I suspect the zombies may have been causing mayhem beyond the bounds of the screen :P. |
| Oct 3 05:10:29 | 7m 52s | Switch Space Limited | ♥ 2 | I liked this one! The controls felt like they were on odd keys (to me). What might have caused less confusion is just having a single "action" button, that jumped in 2D, and grabbed in 3D :D. The last level was interesting, had to swap perspective mid-air multiple times to get the keys :P. Nice work! |
| Oct 3 05:16:01 | 5m 32s | Lake Down | ♥ 1 | Damned apocalypse always ruining my vacations :P. Not sure if you had time to fully playtest this one, seems there are a number of collision and spawning issues that prevent me from getting deep enough in the trench before it closes (I assume that is my goal XD). Good effort though! |
| Oct 3 05:28:53 | 12m 52s | Beach Time! | ♥ 0 | Love the art style, trying to do this one properly was like herding cats, for real XD. Cheese has never felt so good :). I went through a few days, there isn't an end it seems? Nice work on this though, very cute. |
| Oct 3 05:33:31 | 4m 38s | Paula Poppet | ♥ 1 | Oh wow, this is amazing! Such an innovative idea, and an actually fun arena shooter/battler to boot! Love the art style, music, and sfx - it all meshes so nicely. Great job! |
| Oct 3 05:37:47 | 4m 16s | Stowaway | ♥ 1 | A cute little game idea, and wow! a Dragon Ruby Toolkit game in the wild?! :D. Nice work, this was an enjoyable play. |
| Oct 3 05:41:51 | 4m 04s | Cosmic Carnage: Onslaught | ♥ 2 | Nice and chunky, just how I like my hordes of creepy dudes :D. Music fit well with the game, I was a little confused at first (expected it to be a single arena survival shooter) then I realized it wasn't a door, it was a corridor that lead to another room! Also, yes, spacebar definitely made my first playthrough interesting XD. |
| Oct 3 05:46:58 | 5m 07s | Dodge the Cubes | ♥ 1 | Nice work for your first finished game, next step is to polish! :D Well done for submitting! Hope you had fun :P. |
| Oct 3 05:53:56 | 6m 58s | Afloat | ♥ 3 | I saw the light, the sky god descended! (or did I ascend?!) Nice mix of tower defense and well... land defense XD. Art style was nice :D good job! |
| Oct 3 06:00:32 | 6m 36s | Head Space Cadet | ♥ 1 | Had to pull the source down and run it in Godot myself to play it (you didn't pack the PCK when exporting it) :P. Interesting premise and idea, the amount of variables my brain was storing made the challenge enjoyable, I failed a fair few times because I missed a step in the sequence XD. |
| Oct 3 06:13:21 | 12m 49s | Monster Onslaught: Tiny Realm | ♥ 2 | A nice survivor style game, might benefit from a few more attacks/abilities to spice things up? Good work! |
| Oct 3 06:22:01 | 8m 40s | SkaryMonsters | ♥ 2 | Took me a few seconds to figure out what was going on, then it was a graveyard smash! :P Very nice graphics, and the sound effects were good too - the SKA in the background was great XD. The guitar riffs on the menu kept reminding me of something, but I cannot recall - maybe THPS? Nice work! |
| Oct 3 06:26:43 | 4m 42s | I also was a detective once but then... | ♥ 2 | I love the art style, and the mood of the game, after checking the uh "John" book ;) the sudden shift into what felt like horror had me excited, shame you guys didn't get everything knocked out in time (ah well!). Good job on what you had so far, very atmospheric and inpsiring. |
| Oct 3 06:33:00 | 6m 17s | Panic Attack | ♥ 1 | The sound effects and ambience was a good touch, as well as the dark colours of the maze and creature. The first maze felt very large - spent ages trying to find the last page on my first run, only to be unavoidably gobbled up! XD Good work :P. |
| Oct 3 06:40:26 | 7m 26s | Slime Infestation | ♥ 1 | So many slimes! Wow! XD. Nice little management game for our intrepid astronaut, though should we be delivering a potential gray goo (well, green in this case) incident back home? :P |
| Oct 3 06:46:50 | 6m 24s | Delicious Sums | ♥ 2 | Nice work making an interesting puzzler with interesting rules and mechanics :D! The only downside is that now I am also hungry... time to order some dim sum myself! XD. Great work! (loved the bowl tapping sound effects for actions). |
| Oct 3 06:56:09 | 9m 19s | Hot Drills | ♥ 1 | This was lovely, the art style was great, the mechanics felt good, although grid based worlds without grid based movement is sometimes clunky :P. The implementation of hidden ore was nice, as well as the radar + sparkles for the keen of sight. Great game! (with Hot Drills in your area :P) |
| Oct 3 07:15:19 | 19m 10s | Station 6 | ♥ 1 | This was amazing, so atmospheric. The palette and pixel art style fit perfectly, and the puzzle elements (once I figured out how to turn the first light on) were a joy to discover. The only problem I had was that I soft locked myself by doing part out of order - once you commit and enter the final room, looks like you cannot get back (due to the height of the 3 switch box top right corner) XD. Amazing work! |
| Oct 3 07:42:45 | 27m 26s | InvenStory | ♥ 2 | Beautiful art style, comfortable drag and drop mechanics, might have been worth adding a spacer when clicking the linked text - so that it is easy to see the added details (------) etc :P. I will admit, I spent ~20minutes on the Zombie Emu problem, no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work. I'm guessing I should have moved the flags to the middle, but oh well! :P Nice work! |
| Oct 3 07:51:58 | 9m 13s | Orbital Operations | ♥ 1 | I like the idea of the game, though I'm not sure if it was just a bug or the WebGL version on itch has a fault - no more ships spawned after the second one departed XD. Love the feel and atmosphere though, great work! |
| Oct 3 07:57:40 | 5m 42s | Shot in the Dark | ♥ 3 | This was wonderful, felt like a badass target leading successfully on almost every shot, then things got out of hand when I missed one of them... very nice art, and sound design. Loved it! |
| Oct 4 09:14:44 | 25h 17m | Bucket Buffet | ♥ 2 | I played this one a fair few times, was very enjoyable! I did notice the baby carrots (I think) had a habit of just warping through the plate when nothing was on it, which gave me the idea to see not how much I could save, but how much I could spend :P. ~$200.00 in food wastage XD. Great job! |
| Oct 4 09:22:41 | 7m 57s | Diminutive Dungeon Draft! | ♥ 1 | Interesting take on a dungeon builder, looks like the entrance can get clogged - might have benefitted from a second entrance for monsters. The power of the L block is undeniable, fastest spacebar in the west :). Nice work! |
| Oct 4 09:31:29 | 8m 48s | The Grave Shift | ♥ 1 | Very atmospheric game, nice use of shaders and simplified palette :D! I'll be honest, I was waiting for a jump scare to pop up at some point as my light got lower and lower - had to slowly focus more to see what was going on in the later levels XD. Great work! |
| Oct 4 09:34:51 | 3m 22s | Don't Touch The Pylon. | ♥ 3 | Freeeeedom! A lovely, and succinct game, the music made *waiting* tolerable -- I did it, I definitely touched the Pylon XD. Nice work! |
| Oct 4 09:46:21 | 11m 30s | Flob the Bloing | ♥ 2 | This was a masterpiece! Loved everything about it :D Good art, good SFX, good music, all great! The interchange in mechanics to make puzzles was well thought out too. Made me feel like I needed ghosts running around (a la super meat boy) when I died for motivation and adjustments! Took me 20+ deaths before I realized you can stand on deactivated lasers... got so close without touching them at all on the last level, haha. Amazing work! score.jpg |
| Oct 4 09:50:32 | 4m 11s | Homeonaut | ♥ 3 | Great humour in the drawings on the How to Play screen, loved it. The shifting window was a nice touch too - I first forced full screen then was wondering what the hecc was going on, restarted it and saw the effect. Great work! |
| Oct 5 06:37:31 | 20h 46m | Earth Invades (First Godot Game) | ♥ 1 | The Earth has been conquered! Nice work, learning new engines is always fun, Godot is awesome :D! |
| Oct 5 06:44:58 | 7m 27s | MadCap (Alan the Archeologist) | ♥ 1 | Loved the art style and the music, the controls in the levels felt maybe a little too tight? though that's generally something subjective as is (everyone has different preferences XD). The skulls on the pillar stage were difficult to avoid when it was rolled as the very first door (seems random levels are used after multiple playthroughs), only way I could see to prevent this is to have the character appears on the same side of the screen as the door you entered, or pause and point the character out on entering - was just a tiny bit jarring to go from left side of the screen (door) directly to the right side (the first and second time) :). Awesome work either way, I made some hideous poop-tuna creatures XD. |
| Oct 5 06:56:07 | 11m 09s | Parking Garage Rally | ♥ 0 | Loved this one, amazing work! I think I might have missed/skipped a checkpoint trigger on my first lap - as I ended up doing 4 laps in total (I think it was the ramp just before the finish line - jumped off that level like there was nothing stopping me! :P). To go with the arcadey style, might have been beneficial adding a segment timer (between checkpoints), or visual representation of the checkpoints/etc just incase. If I remember the old arcade rally games, they gave you X seconds to get between checkpoint flags on the course (ah memories). Not needed, but just my little feedback :). Amazing work! |
| Oct 5 07:01:28 | 5m 21s | Orbital Meltdown: Death by Laser Beneath the Naked Sun | ♥ 2 | An interesting arena shooter, looks like you ran out of time with a few things (enemy projectiles/etc), I had to try a few times because the game crashed with "Fatal Error" when the buildings were being destroyed - guessing that's just a hardware issue on my end though. Nice work! |
| Oct 5 07:05:38 | 4m 10s | Shroomed. | ♥ 1 | I can't rate this one, cannot find where the game is available? Might not have allowed users to play/download it? nodownloadorplay.png |
| Oct 9 10:57:24 | 99h 51m | Safe Space Passage | ♥ 2 | Holy crap, what a masterpiece! The art was beautifully done, the puzzles were challenging (especially when the dash started playing a part), the quantity of levels and content is amazing for 72hrs! My only, one and only gripe - it felt like there needed to be checkpoints after the super difficult jumps/rotations. I cannot count how many times I started getting slightly frustrated at getting the first part, then falling to a hole I could never be aware of until too late XD. Other than that, this was awesome. The ending hit like a truck too... rip. Great work! |
| Oct 9 11:20:49 | 23m 25s | Driller Instinct | ♥ 4 | I spent a very long time playing this, what a wonderful idea. Very good graphical representations of everything and the audio was great too! the constant increase in danger from faster and faster lava kept me on my toes - ultimately I died to the evil invisible wall XD. My only suggestion would have been to add a quick tutorial on the goal, I started off not understanding that I had to mine the orbs, instead - I was trying to dig around them (to free them from the terrain). Overall excellent submission! :). |
| Oct 9 11:24:47 | 3m 58s | Cat Games | ♥ 0 | Ah you got me with that trick level, conditioning me to jump immediately like a cat is want to do XD. Nice little platformer - might have benefitted from tighter jump limits and a few multipath levels to give a tiny bit of challenge. However, in combination with the cute art style used and the calming ambience - this was rather comfortable to play :). Good job! |
| Oct 9 11:39:29 | 14m 42s | Everything Must Go | ♥ 1 | This was amazing! It felt like a fully fleshed out game, I couldn't stop laughing at the writers room part XD. The music section did get a little repetitive (might have benefitted from a few different tunes) - but making music is hard (and you guys made a banger as is!). The only issue I had was after failing on the windows version - the screen for the product selection was black, and then the character wouldn't move in the writer phase. Restarting the game fixed it, might just be a flag not being unset on failure (My parents love me T_T). Amazing job, again - felt like a game I would see released! |
| Oct 9 11:52:50 | 13m 21s | The Horridor | ♥ 1 | Definitely made me remember fond memories of RCTycoon days, managing the fear through the maze of spooks felt good - especially when everything came together and they all left with near maximum fear :D! Not sure if the fainting was registering, or if I was just cutting it that close (they fell over, icon changes - but then immediately got up and finished the spooking paying a tonne for it too!). Lovely work! |
| Oct 9 12:01:29 | 8m 39s | Space LTD | ♥ 1 | I figured out the puzzle, but wasn't able to pick up the gun no matter what I tried (Oh I am an idiot, I didn't see the right click thing, I see it now... wow). The art style was cool though, and the idea behind the puzzle was good :). Nice work either way! rushing + brute force always solves things :P. |
| Oct 10 05:53:40 | 17h 52m | Experiment "Square" | ♥ 1 | What an interesting experience that was :). I will admit, every time the actions were done (when it fades to black) I was waiting for some kind of jumpscare XD didn't happen though so I was tense throughout. There seemed to be a strange delay when going to sleep an seeing the dream, at first I thought the game was broken until I sat there for a while - then it blew out my ear drums XD! A wonderful little story about isolation, repetition, and the existential dread of existence through boredom. Nice work! |
| Oct 12 11:33:58 | 53h 40m | The Big Crunch | ♥ 3 | Awesome work! I played and rated the Jam version, this is feedback based upon it: Loved the art style (big fan of 1-bit :P), and adored the music! These type of games are always entertaining (no idea what is coming up next! :D) which gives great variety to keep things interesting. My only issue was the description of controls at the bottom of the screen. Since all the words were spaced out, I couldn't quickly ascertain the control scheme correctly for a few of the minigames, the "Shoot the Asteroid" on in particular. I got A/D to move, but it took me 3 deaths to finally realize W was for shoot XD. Outside of that it was more just a learning curve until I understood the rules of each minigame, then I was able to clear it rapidly :). Loved it, keep it up! :D |
| Oct 12 11:43:19 | 9m 21s | Mr. FLATFORMER's House | ♥ 2 | Nice work! The idea fit the theme well, and it was an interesting take on a puzzle platformer! My only suggestion would be to make the jumping feel a little better - particularly on that double hook stage (I spent too long on it, and grew slightly frustrated with the jumps :(). Not sure if it is in it, but it felt like the main character needed a little bit of coyote time on the jumps, but thats probably a personal preference thing (when you miss a jump 50 times XD). Nice work! |
| Oct 12 11:52:04 | 8m 45s | Ship-Shape | ♥ 0 | Ah, the age old tradition of spinning plates! :). It took me a little bit to realize I could leave the first screen to do the other activities, I initially thought that this was a "Follow the instructions" game, so - stand, then press space... then nothing else XD. But once I figured out you could move to other screens, well - the game was on! I survived! Managing everything felt good, especially after figuring out that water can be double dipped ;). won.png Good work! |
| Oct 19 11:15:10 | 167h 23m | Limited Dungeon | ♥ 1 | This was awesome! Love the idea, don't think I've ever played a game like this where you set up your own difficulty each level (Other than maybe snake?). Really interesting! Movement felt good, only suggestion would be to maybe come up with a different way to choose the options, it was close (not sure if possible) but spawning blades felt like they might hit me before I could move again, which caused me to try and move even when I was still in the shop interface XD. Nice work! |
| Oct 19 12:18:45 | 1h 03m | Pickle Packer | ♥ 0 | Interesting take on the theme, my wrist is definitely complaining after fighting against crazy pickle and jar physics XD. The start confused me as there didn't feel like a way to sell for more that 7-9$ when the jars cost 15$, maybe that was just my poor pickle packing skills though. I agree with the other comments, hotkeys might have come in handy (especially late in the game when pickles start pushing the jars our of the receptacle XD!). Nice work, even if it isn't fully complete! |
